In this episode, I bring you all the news from the past week in the world of GI Joe. So what is it me? It's the Full Force Weekly. Hello everybody. How are you doing this Friday, September 25th at 551? The times I go live, it's absolutely mind-boggling isn't it? A lot of the time I'll go, I'll go live at 6 today in my head. And then I'm like, I can't be bothered to wait any longer. I'm ready to go. Let's just do it. So yeah, going a day early, as I like to do, but premature, get you said. But yeah, mainly due to the weather in the area,

1:01of course. We're having a bit of a norrista out here. So yeah, wanted to kind of like get the weekly done just in case there was any sort of power outage or what have you. And I figured that tomorrow would be a little bit more likely that something like that might happen. So I thought, let's get it, let's get it in early. So yeah, you're seeing me tonight, Friday, instead of Saturday. And we still got lots to talk about. We've got loads of comics news to get into. And then we've got a little bit of micrenorts to talk about. And then we've got a lot of classified updates, tons actually. And everything is coming like arriving and delivering at the moment is crazy. Including these two little cheeky ladies. Got the Val Carie and of course Laura Croft on a very shiny. I didn't realize the I didn't realize the foil on this, but you can see on the gold.

2:05So I'm the gold. Well, yeah, I suppose it is gold, but on the yellow, which should be yellow is gold foil, which is kind of cool. And the bottom there, let's see. Very nice. And the entire file card. Look at that. Blinded everyone there with the amount of gold going on. Anyway, got those two in recently. Also, of course, amongst other things, the Crimson Snake Armor, triple tea, the Hal again. Another side count. I want the snow cat finally got the snow came. I figured I don't really need to know unboxing of that considering I did the unboxing of it, right to rub in that in. Hello everyone in the chat already. We've got a few of you in already is about three of you at the moment, but it's all good. Hello everyone. Hope you're doing well. Right then, should we get stuck into it? Let's start, of course, as we mean to go on with the comics news, which is French for the comics news.

3:17It's not really. Yes, got lots of skybound updates to get through today. New comic book day, of course, this week previews, December solicits. We've got cover reveals for mask. We've got loads loads of stuff free giveaway Lara Croft giveaways actually as well, courtesy of midtown comics. I think because of New York comic, just around the corner. Anyway, lots to get into. And I'll, but what I will start actually usually leave these things till the end of the episode, but I figured I wanted to kind of like talk about this first now. During the week, we have the terrible news that Joshua Cassara passed away. Very young, I believe like 48 I want to say. Now, this is an artist who had done some absolutely phenomenal work already in his, you know, like again, such a young age, really.

4:21And it's done some beautiful covers and it's done some absolutely phenomenal covers for the energy on the universe and for G.I. Joe, including these beautiful kind of team covers that I've got on screen at the moment. And just wanted to obviously highlight the fact that he was a phenomenal artist and again, like such an awful, awful thing to happen. But yeah, too young man, too young. And yeah, I wanted to obviously highlight a phenomenal talent. Joshua Cassara was and just absolutely devastated for his family and, and of course, close friends and everyone who absolutely thought he was awesome, which was everyone I believe that he may seem to be a very nice guy as well, which sucks. So absolutely rest in peace to Joshua, Joshua Cassara and yeah, like I said, our thoughts go out to his, his, his family and his friends, of course, terrible, terrible news.

5:27Now, let's move on. And like I said, I just wanted to have a moment to talk about him and and start the comics news of obviously I don't want to, you know, it's, it's depressing and it sucks. But, you know, there's no good place to talk about that. But, you know, the wonderful artwork that he's produced over the years, you know, will live on. And, yeah, and again, did some phenomenal stuff for G.I. Joe as well. So thank you for everything, Joshua Cassara, rest in peace. Okay, so new comic book day was on Wednesday. We got the hammer files issue 110, which follows on from the previous hammer files of 109. So at least we're getting sort of, you know, that follow on, which is interesting because you don't really often see that with the hammer files. They've usually been sort of plucked randomly. But I guess it makes sense to have, you know, a couple of issues, you know, back to back.

6:28But yeah, so that is out. So reprint, of course, of issue 110, which of course sees quite an absolute devastation of G.I. Joe characters. And of course, so the Saw Viper very, very iconic for all the wrong reasons. No, very iconic issue, a couple of issues, 109 and 110, of course. And, yeah, follows that, that devastating story for the G.I. Joe team. Now, as well as that, we also got the trade paperback of the silent missions. So this is obviously volume two of silent missions, which volume one was a G.I. Joe characters, volume two features Baroness, Firefly, copperheads, art and the Crimson Guard. Can't believe I remembered all that. And, yeah, though, some banging issues in there. I will say, if we're going to go through, I'm going to go through him quickly. I will say that for me, the best one by far was the Crimson Guard issue. Holy damn. That was a great issue. Like so much story told in such a short space of time.

7:36So many interesting sort of like and really highlights like Cobra Commander's personality highlights the sort of like mindset of the Crimson Guard as well. And of course, you know, you've got a lot of Joe showing up in that issue. And just lots going on. It's really, really cool. And yeah, just kind of like follows the Joe's invasion of Cobra Island and how Cobra Commander escapes and the Crimson Guard basically sacrifices himself for it. But it's really, it's a great issue. The Baroness issue I have issues with. It's beautifully drawn. It's a really good sort of like story. And then there are some weird plot, kind of like holes in it. And a couple of moments where you kind of like confused as to what happens and what the actual point of some of the minute, like some of the reasoning is. So yeah, that was a bit weird.

8:44But yeah, and I kind of feel like unfortunately it kind of savers that issue to me a little bit. So yeah, what I would say with that one is it's it's a beautifully drawn issue though like phenomenal art, but in it has a lot of potential, but there's a weird couple of things that happen. And you just like, huh? And I've spoken to a few people about this and they have similar like similar responses, sort of like not really sure what was going on here and in this particular panel. And still after like watching interviews with, you know, some of the artists and the, you know, the storytellers in those particular issues. I'm still non the wise or really, but anyway, any who's in Susan, I'm using. Let's move on to, oh there's also, but not only does it collect those issues, but also a story in yearbook issue through to Joe Joe, Joe Joe yearbook 3 as well. So that's kind of fun. Anyway, that trade paperback is on the horizon is out.

9:48And countable is there a silent three T P B coming well, there have to be silent missions to do so. So the reason there is a second trade paperback is because there was a first lot. So you could say that the possibility of them doing more is dependent on how good they were sales wise the first time round. I imagine they did well. I thought like I said there was like I like the copperhead one as well. That was, that was again, beautiful art in the copperhead story. And firefly was great as well. Yeah, actually the firefly one was really cool with the kind of like like the 2D platformer is what it like in a couple of panels where he's like infiltrating the building. And the other ones are tan that was really cool. So that was that was a good, pacey storyline. I wasn't as into the art, I will say, but in terms of like seeing, you know, Python patrol major blood, you know, and like a few again, you like random geo Joe's that you don't see every issue.

11:00That was, that was pretty cool as well. Anyway, by the by that was out as well. So will there be a third one if they make more silent missions couch boy and I would love it if they did because they, you know, some again, I think they could go back to the Joe team and they could, you know, give us a bunch more awesome missions for sure. Now as well as those we had energy on universe void rivals issue, which which introduces the character of Predacron. We would you would know him as a Joe fan as Predacon from the lunatics wave of figures back in the 9 late 90s mid 90s technically. So that is, yes, so that is based on the introduction of this particular character and he is on the trail of ROM and ROM, of course, currently, if you're paying attention to void rivals is with Python, the cobra live royal guard and Salila and Darrak on this random planet, they crash landed on their love, Leviathan has passed away.

12:11And they are stranded and then ROM shows up with carpet his sidekick and yeah, and you know, they basically kind of get together team up and try and find a way off planet. Now in this particular issue, we've got big moments here. We can talk we can show them because they posted these earlier, proxamus and scuxoid me so at the start of the issue, you have scuxoid basically looking for his ship and he goes to junk, you know, the junk, you know, and speaks to wreck and wreck, says, oh, you know, too late, mate, we've already sold it and he runs over to see who's god is shit and it's proxamus and his team and so they kind of like, you know, what's going on here sort of thing. So anyway, we don't see much about that for a while and then we go, we zip on over to the planet that ROM and crew are stranded on.

13:15So ROM isn't stranded, he could just fly away whenever he wants, but he is trying to help these guys find their way off planet, which is kind of, you know, nice of him lovely guy from and and then predacon, cron shows up in his spaceship. Basically, he's a bounty hunter and he's looking to take ramen who is wanted by the, I forget the name of the alliance now, so the something alliance, I forgot it is now space alliance, I can't remember what it is anyway, galactic alliance or something, but he's he's wanted. So yeah, so predacon tries to bring him in a fight ensues and we don't know the outcome yet, it's and big it's not completely set in stone, but carpet takes some damage now carpet is the cute little sidekick that is with ROM, we don't really know much about the creature.

14:17We kind of introduced to ROM and carpet from from issue that first special of ROM straight away, so there's like a little bit of backstory, but not a great deal and and so yeah, this this cute little guy has been helping him, you know, with all of his kind of situations, everything you kind of grown a bit attached to him as well over the last couple of issues. Predacron basically tears a massive hole through him and that that basically pisses ROM off so much that he stops any barrier he's been holding back in this fight with Predacron mainly because I don't think he he realizes that Predacron is just trying to take him in because he's wanted, but he's trying to explain to him why it's a mistake and he just needs to listen to him and obviously the fight ensues and then one when carpet takes the damage he kicks off big time. It's quite sad actually now it doesn't say whether carpet is dead or you know whatever I imagine we're going to find out later on the you know whether carpet is you know a lie I'm going to say probably makes it through or it makes it through carpet is a genderless creature so just like a globule rug that drapes around him.

15:35Now and speaking Joshua Kassari did that beautiful cover on the right there with with yeah, Salila Darak and Predacron cover see again did some beautiful covers such a shame and such a loss as well just in general like awful stuff. But yeah so that's pretty much the issue as they are kind of you know as it's really kicking off and ROM starts taking the upper hand another ship shows up and it is scoxoid so it's like okay cool what's going to happen now so that is the kind of like end of that particular issue but for me I've got to say I am so excited to start seeing even more ridiculously ridiculously crazy you know G.I. Joe characters showing up Predacron being one or Predacons we know obviously that is a name they probably had to change based on the Predacons from Transformers so they probably had to change that to Predacron and that's what is going on there.

16:48So anyway yeah get issue 34 it's a banger and yeah and some beautiful covers including like I said Joshua Kassari we talked about earlier in the episode rest in peace now on the couple more shot covers as well the Ben Oliver cover there Predacron and the a lotious cover as well which is the sort of Dara can Salihla sort of like moody cover very nice indeed now we also got solicits for December so we got Transformers issue 39 doesn't really tell us much in that particular on that particular solicit but I'll still read it out nonetheless if I can find it that is how long ago was this ages ago clearly yeah okay you've never seen a fight like this before thanks solicits for that issue 39 of Transformers now this is of course Optimus versus spoiler that's not the name of the Transformer that is the redacted name of the character he is fighting and of course you can see on the cover there the silhouette of what looks to be sort of Megatron

18:07but I guess we'll find out what's going on there in the other issues the other covers don't seem to give anything away on there that I can see anyway they might do but I'm just not good at identifying Transformers from distance in any case Transformers 39 on its way of course in December as well as void levels 37 so we've just had 34 so 35 30 got two more issues before this one in December crazy that one is pit of destruction part one of five so this starts a new arc and it is there actually learn all the rest find themselves trapped in lord guy koney's pit of destruction what could that mean a very similar to the quintessons sort of set up isn't it how they drop him in that like big vat of urine or water very G2 mega says nictum is prime maybe they maybe is a bit of a G2 homage going on there nictum is prime you never know dear that'd be kind of cool actually keep it just Megatron but just like a you know not of G2 version of him will be freaking awesome anyway that's void rivals and Transformers solicits we also have mask now volume one is just the trade paperback collecting issues

19:34want to I don't know I guess one to four would it be one to six I just took me a while to read it my apologies so issues one to six in the first trade which drops in December and of course by then as well will have had issue seven of the mask and all so we haven't had five or six yet again with two issues ahead here with mask so I'm going to talk about it anyway now the for issue seven Scott tracker will you save the world no one not even his son may trust Matt tracker ever again can he prove he's fit to leave the mask network interesting so if you just if you haven't been paying attention by the way tea Bob looks mental on that cover doesn't he tea Bob is just basically almost shown up in the last issue four kind of like poking his eyes out in like a head row so he's kind of about to make his proper appearance in issue five very excited about that now it looks like he's in some sort of crazy super

20:54mech tea Bob here with Scott tracker I'm interested to see what's going to happen with this how the clearly going to make tea Bob some sort of awesome character aren't they I mean they've done it so much skybound so far and taking some kind of like very quirky characters and really like you know pumping them with life get you said I was a bit sad that crystal ball got like next so quickly and as far as I can tell probably isn't coming back which is a shame but he seemed really like interesting as a you know as a protagonist but sorry an antagonist but it looks as though we're not going to see any more of crystal ball because he got his next slice sliced so shame these I would say on that one will have to wait and see though I still I'm still holding out hope for a bit of classic comic you know ret coming there in any case mask has been a phenomenal series so far and I cannot wait to get into more than in starting with issue five which is next up very excited

22:06right calls these as well as those there are obviously there are other solicits to talk about but I'm breaking this up into its separate parts so obviously mask we're talking about mask on the solicits let's talk about some very covers that have been revealed the Fadeem Yildirim streetwear covers which have caused all sorts of commentary online but it's this is a definitely this is definitely a hot topic should we say no pun intended for the fandom here but we are seeing of course these sort of like character focused covers where the artist Fadeem is sort of like decking the characters out in very like interesting modern ASK like streetwear that sort of mimics a little bit of their classic you know uniform but obviously then takes it into all sorts of different directions and yeah I've found these to be very interesting indeed I'm certainly not like the the I'm certainly not in the sort of like oh my god I hate this with all my hearts which I've seen a lot a lot of kind of people kind of like

23:32you know kick off about at the end of the day it's it's it's one cover or you know one cover of multiple covers that are available it's not like this is your only one and that's the beauty part of collecting comics you know you can like really focus your collecting in a way where either if you're collecting all the covers then good luck to you because I mean hot down I feel like skybound have almost made it impossible to collect all official variant covers for specific issues because of all the re the re prints as well as like the there's been a lot of first issues and a lot of first issues coming about minimum 30 covers and and it's just it's never ending and I mean like just the standard releases of issues have a decent chunk of options to choose from but that's the beauty part of it you don't have to collect them all

24:34you can definitely like picking shoes follow your favorite artist you know just kind of stick to one type of cover the Ben Oliver ones are really cool because it's all just like the head shots like the passport photo kind of like you know proportion and then you've got EJ sues doing the sort of like blueprint covers and you've got you know all sorts of different beautiful sort of renditions of characters and and and all sorts of it is absolutely mental the amount of options we have to choose from so I would say if you're perturbed by any of these you don't have to buy them issues seven of course there's featuring Vanessa Warfield yes to double check that of course it's Vanessa's the black and red hair looking very dashing and that little ensemble then we have mat tracker for issue eight

25:36rocking the bucket hat and the like the slud the sandal slides of the socks on everything looks very comfortable that he's rocking actually there in fact I would be very I'd be well up for that top and those pants honestly I would definitely rock what he's wearing probably not the bucket hat but definitely the pants and the jacket I think take off your pants and jacket it's pretty amazing and then of course we also have sly racks given it the and I'm sure he won't meet what mine be calling him out the Corey Cantaloupe vibes here sly racks here I've seen Corey rocking this exact ensemble in fact I've seen Corey rocking Vanessa Warfield's exact ensemble no Corey I've seen definitely seen him rocking the sly so shout out Corey yeah you there's there's a fashionable old man that I very much the cup see but yeah very cool vibes going on there with the sly racks and more to be revealed so we'll have a few more of these street wear I mean who's who's excited to see what miles mayhem's going to be rocking

26:54that's what I want to I want to see what they're going to put miles mayhem in that's that's what that's what's going to be it they make if they dress him up like George Lucas rocking the new balance that would be hilarious wouldn't it I want to see you stream in that hats as lone dragon that's that's something that's kitty said anyway there you go lovely stuff now moving on to the first look at geo geo issue 27 because this is a lot of fun to do with the new artists will lead us into the solicits for 29 I think so who is Zartan in a deadly play for power Zartan set Joe against Joe is there anyone left you can stop him so if you haven't been paying attention in issue 25 Zartan basically set night force on GI Joe because Baroness caught him slitting crystal balls throat and then realize seeing that the face was peeling off him on Zartan

27:54Realize that that was not Colonel Hawk and in actual fact they'd been duped but she didn't really wasn't in a position to do anything about it so she thought fleeing was the best maneuver in that particular outcome because she didn't think that the team would believe her and of course the or like Colonel Hawk had already said blamed the death of crystal ball on Baroness and so forth. So anyway night force a fighting GI Joe to get Baroness back we just had last week a really intense issue 27 no sorry intense issue 26 which was really exciting as well and that I only read recently so I missed it last week so I haven't really talked about that but effectively night force showed up. To stop the Joe team and to take Baroness back and then a battle in shoes GI bat is deployed for the night force team and goes on a bit of a rampage and over like basically gets over ridden bar and take and basically goes rogue and tries to kill Duke and then basically night force kind of like you know they all basically can't try and stop the bat from going crazy.

29:19And then the other team chasing after the Baroness find out that it isn't the Baroness at all and she's dressed up it's the cover girl cover girl was in disguise the whole time and Baroness has managed to escape they pulled the old switcheroo when no one was watching now. That would lead us into this issue 27 and as you can see Flint is angry he's yelling he's asking where the Baroness is. And how did plutch have come back obviously because they've you know they've done their job and GI bat is basically torturing Duke here in this this panel and probably under Flint's guidance at this point to get information out of Duke as to where the Baroness is all very exciting stuff. All very on the edge of your pants well in the edge of your seat but you'll be wearing pants hopefully and that's where we are that's what we get for the preview of that issue 27 so it's going to continue in that that location hopefully night force and george can I don't know come to some sort of like agreement as to what to do next it looks like obviously Flint is pressing for that information to get.

30:39In film with the Baroness is either feeling the rest of the team will try and stop him or talk him out of you know hurting Duke possibly and see how see where it goes from there because this will be I think this is a five part I believe it's a five part in terms of look at the story up between these two so this would be the third part of that particular story line so you don't have two more issues to sort of like. Bring them together and this is george and I imagine based on some of the stuff in the other solicits we're going to see. Zartan versus Colonel Hawk at some point so that is you know something i'm interested to see how that pans out what happens to Zartan what happens to. Colonel Hawk etc etc these are the covers for 27 as well don't think i've actually talked about these apart from the street wear Flint cover from Fidim again cover B is Martin Marazzo and Chris so halaran and that is shooter looking down the scope things at risk in her site very cool indeed and then you've got the night force cover see by.

31:58God's tail cool yeah the Fidim Streetwear cover and then of course you've got the Alexander Shabaugh cover Shabaugh which is cover E and that is the Baroness and risk given it the big and. And that is everything so yeah very interested to see how this one plays out that leads us into solicits for issue 29 of that storyline which of course. As I said before is Hawk versus Hawk question mark obviously it's Hawk versus Zartan the end of george as we know it no one in george on night force will walk away the same. Very interesting now is this is this an opportunity for skybound to like you know have a big death. You know could we see Colonel Hawk even though he's sort of been revealed as being alive. Could he actually you know die in this particular issue I think it's possible they're not they're not like shy about taking characters out are they.

33:05So we'll have to wait and see on that one but yeah i'll be interesting to see if if there are any if there is a fallout on this one like a like a death or something. I could imagine seeing Zartan escaping fleeing and then you know living to fight another day as he does as he wants to do. And a couple more covers obviously there that aren't very very visible or clear but you have cover B which is J Anna Kletto and Romulo Fajardo Junior which is the Baroness and Zartan face to face. You then have cover see which is Tuma Hill and that I believe is Scarlett you've got the Fadeem Yilderim Street where variant for risk which I think we have seen and we've got of course the cover which is the first manga cover variant Manabu Yashiro I think that the first one it'll be it'll be in that particular run of of.

34:06It'll be that issue Joe and then there'll be another one for voy rivals another one so on and so forth so yeah excited to see those manga covers because they look really cool I think talking Joe comics in the chat Marx as I would expect some shift to the Joe status quo like a single combined team perhaps all for show. Absolutely do expect that in a massive way I think you spot on there I just feel like Hawk might be taking out maybe do take so or something I don't know I will have to see what I'll wait and see on that one anyway all fun stuff energy on university's kicking all kinds of ass at the moment and I'm loving it as well as an energy on the universe a little bit of a real American hero to talk about as well. Tomb Raider of course issue three of five with a few more covers as well so the cover a there is the Elena Casa Grande and Alex Quimare's. That's a that's a banger cover with shipwreck and Lara Croft again like shipwreck pulling his sleeves up either about to fight and being told kind of to stand down by Lara and as you can see the the shadows very much.

35:21Incine waiting the iron grenadiers because we have seen iron grenadiers of course on other covers including that other cover be there by Ludo Lullaby Lullaby and say Lullaby and of course there are two versions of that one one of course is a foil variant cover days Chris mooney and and again we have talked about that one you can't see it very clearly on this screen but we have of course seen that one she's being lowered into a pit with. You know not the pitch you've been lowered lowered into the tanker the yeah i forgot what it's called now and shipwreck's above a kind of like helping her in and a cover E by Rebecca. Mr isex and Jordy Belair which again it's too small to see really on the screen at the moment but it's Lara Croft mainly anyway lovely stuff lovely stuff. Pat will be returning for sure he it's availability loan dragon we never like available on the same times and then with what we trying to do is a Wednesday episode of the owing round up which is Mr lot recently because i've been too busy so hopefully that will be rectified soon hopefully this week i'll be reaching out to pat and Adam to set something up this week because yeah it's been ridiculous the last couple of weeks.

36:48Not much i can do about it unfortunately but yeah we'll do what we can as well as that we've got the real American hero issue three three five as well and we've got we've got closer looks of the covers on this particular issue courtesy thanks again to talking Joe for posting these the other day now of course you've got the pool the Lee weeks and Mike Spicer cover with flint and Jay on the cover there obviously the black and white variant which is the same Lee weeks. And the mimic Malavia secret dossier variant cover see is of stalker and we can look at those in a little bit more detail here so here is that Lee weeks and Mike Spicer cover on the left Lee weeks you know inks on the right very nice indeed and of course the one of my favorite tropes the desk with all the files spread out on it love that. And yeah lovely stuff.

37:52What's the other thing i was going to say yeah i mean i've talked about my love for these particular this particular trope of covers in terms of what this issue is about lady Jane flint infiltrate the blue ninjas. G.I. Joe and cobra both make big moves but is revanche one step ahead it's about time i would say that the Joe team and all cobra take the fight to revenge because i feel like they've just been like. Mainly getting by without really anyone knowing where they are or what they're doing or how they're doing it i guess but it's interesting that there's never any it's always a defensive move from the Joe's at the moment there's no offensive moves going on. And i want them to take out the the revanche big time the blue ninjas anyway that is that next so the last bit of info or the last bit of comics news before we move on to a little bit of super seven. It's absolutely phenomenal very impressed with this figure i need i do need to take this out a packaging but yeah absolutely incredible figure they did a great job on Lara Croft and it was a weird one because when i first heard about it i was a little bit like really but it actually kind of works. And she works in a way that like you know action man works to and then of course we've got this just these images of the course the figure that you would be getting and here's the info for that signing at midtown comics so that is Friday October the ninth at seven p.m. at midtown comics time square make sure you get there like an hour beforehand i mean that still won't be enough but you'd still be in a massive queue probably.

40:10But yeah make sure you do so and you can be in with a chance of winning a Lara Croft action figure. But yeah brilliant stuff i really love that Lara Croft figure i think she's phenomenal and yeah i will be bust in that one out kitty said of the packaging as soon as i get the ump to do so right then let's move out of the comics news any other messages i need to work on no. So let's get into the regular news starting with a bit of super seven. Now i realize i put this together thinking you know microt noughts semi peripherally connected of course and of course with barren cars is introduction to the energy on universe very recently it kind of makes sense to kind of discuss but.

41:13But i also should mention the fact that brine flinted an interview the other day and i forget the i forget the bear with me two seconds i forget the name of the outlet that did the interview my apologies i'll get there in a second. It was. Oh was it david alan i think it was yeah it was david alan shout to david alan he interviewed brine flint sorry my fault yeah so david alan interviewed brine flint uh vert like the other day and on the show a couple of things popped up a couple of nuggets of information and also shout out to mark said in for messaging me at the time to kind of like break it down for me so i really appreciate that mark thank you very much. Now a couple of things came out of that interview shout out today with alan as well a couple of things came out the interview one of them being that visionaries is in a bit of a lack of clarity on legal.

42:17I don't really understand what that means in in depth but it is going to be on hold until it's resolved and the same goes for in humanoid by the way so that's interesting but that was a nice bit of a nice tidbit of information. Not quite sure what they're referring to I mean we've got leoric and dark storm phenomenal figures I definitely want more of those so hopefully whatever legal stuff they're dealing with I hope that can get sorted out because I don't really you know i'm not really sure what would hold that up really. Now another thing that was mentioned the trouble bubbles were a test to see if the vehicles worked you know for that particular for the reaction plus line and the were hints are to bigger vehicle to come now obviously can't really get much bigger than the mothership that they tried to you know crowds crowd fund. I'm a year or so ago but I imagine it's probably more you know reasonable size than that but the interesting to kind of like you know keeper keep our ears to the ground on that one and also hint at a future comic pack figure so not 100% sure what that could be but there are a few.

43:41The series running around because there was a mention that it would be something that was rejected previously by house bro so you know I'm like in approvals kind of stage so interesting what that could be in any case some good stuff to come out of that go check out David's interview of Brian Flynn yeah go do it right. As well as that then of course we got some micro knots today now this dropped literally today available for order as well as the figures of time traveler and a croier but had you pronounce it I used to say a croier is how I used to say it but a croier is what I've heard recently as well I don't know but i'm just going to say. I'm going to say a croier and it's funny because I actually watched a couple of episodes of the cancelled cartoon that managed to make its way out onto YouTube you know like recently is like the last year again but and I still didn't pick up the name so hilarious stuff anyway very cool but not on not just the figures though but you get a cool baron car's a t-shirt and a micro knots hat which I may or may not have ordered obviously.

45:01You'll be seeing that soon trust me here is the time traveler very cool redeco I believe right because I think already done time travel I want to say I can't remember though they might not have done anyway yes it's the georgeon you news review guys yes absolutely David Allen so anyway yeah very cool and I love the clear on this one very like just takes you back to the early micron orks days and of course a croier here which is a very very awesome looking figure I haven't got any of the micrenorts yet I will say now it's not one of those things where if I if I you know was in a position to get every single thing I want I would also be collecting all of the connected universe toys like all the micrenorts I'd get all the reaction micrenorts I'd get all of you know everything that was possible it's just not that possible anymore so that's why focus mainly on classified and then anything else is just like the odd thing here or there the visionaries for example I had to get those there was no doubt in my mind I needed those visionaries the turtles crossover I have to make sure I got the turtles crossover figures which is awesome anyway that's that.

46:30And there's the hat now that's what I was more excited about and I did order one so there you go I'll be get you'll be seeing that on the streams at some point in the future adding it to the list of already ridiculous amounts of hats that are just all around me all the time I'm literally surrounded by one two three four five six seven hats in my vicinity that I can see I could take my hat often but another hat I can take my hat off and put another hat on my head. Yeah that slash storm shadow figures amazing couch boy the slash storm shadow on the turtles GI Joe crossover brilliant anyway there you go that is pretty much everything for the micrenorts and of course like I said before Baron Hart cars are showing up in the skybound universe already in the mask series so very exciting stuff and yeah there you go right then next up I believe pretty sure it's the classified update but we. 49:55And then sort of like eventually it moves into the GI Joe stuff where they went you know and starting cooperating the the characters and the the figures from the o ring line ups right but the battle action force deluxe treasury editions one two and three. Basically focus on that early period of time in the comics with all those phenomenal stories with the red shadows and you know. On all the other kind of sub teams that and it's really cool it's amazing stuff it's beautifully I mean so many legends were involved in in those comics and what I want to shout Brian hiki out for here is the incredible work he did in restoring a lot of those. Comics scanning you know loads of work on like restoring and you know cleaning up and making basically the most beautiful books I've ever seen in my life I mean they're huge they're big volumes but they are just so.

51:04And phenomenally beautifully presented you're not going to see anything like that really in it's the best restoration sort of job I've seen in comics ever honestly and you know they are just absolutely stunning volume so get stuck in guys go get them beautiful books right then I did promise you I did promise you something and that is obviously a classified update now lots of stuff to talk about. 53:19file card brilliant stuff and we've got road pig and raucous lots of animal companions in the in the dread knocks I love it and and yeah of course as well as the two sort of periphery knocks we've got Zvrana and Zander of course the the siblings I must admit it is quite jarring I know obviously we had all the different types of artwork for the different characters and Zvrana got that sort of like very kind of animated style art but when you look in at the file cards it's very jarring that she's completely different to everyone else because everyone else is very much in that sort of Scott Johnson Oliver Barrett you know in Sir other artist or agency here sort of vibe and style and then all of a sudden you get one of like a Zvrana for example and it very much goes like okay whoa that's different

54:21it's the only thing that really throws off with especially with file cards you kind of want the art to be consistent but you know there's what it is but we've got more file cards and that's always fun it's funny as well just how many characters we don't know the real names of and I'm surprised we haven't found out what their real names are at this point now you think there been some you know some bit of like paperwork shown up no everyone's bloody unknown it's ridiculous now master shout out to Adam house a shark eye toy view he picked up the snake eyes far mint stealth pod stealth wiper to versus two pack the other day and posted images of said two pack with figures on his channel of course on review and sent me pictures as well to look at so thank you very much Adam always appreciate you mate

55:21now as far as a diehawk goes he's out he's in warm up there's no pre-order on warm up situation that the figure is out I believe it will go up on pulse at some point but yeah as far as warm up collector con goes there's won't be going up for pre-order because it's already physically available in stores so hopefully that explains that to some degree anyway snake eyes come back to snake eyes because we were talking about diehawk in a second snake eyes looks amazing now this is an homage to the puffy sticker of snake eyes which obviously had him in his in this kind of weird redeco also a nice little shout out as well I would say I don't think it was on purpose actually from what I could gather the green just happen to be the green goggles just happen to be a coincidental connectivity with the resolute green goggles

56:30but as far as the odd these particular figure homage goes was very specifically the the puffy sticker snake eyes from back in the 80s which just had to have had just had to have the weirdest deco ever here's a cracking shot of the close up of those green goggles those beautiful deco it's one of my favorite color combinations grey and excuse me grey and like neon green because I went through a bit of a phase when I was playing basketball fairly high level I in the UK so as far as highs you can get me as you know it's not the highest level you can be that's for damn sure quite some levels below that but while I was playing basketball in the US I had this like compulsion to a lot I was drawn to gr- like grey sneakers with green sort of like you know trim as it were and I had some of those like make your own sort of like night kind of Nike boots which were so frigging cool

57:44and I had the number 80 on them I customized them so the ones we could customize as well it was so sweet and I I went nuts and obviously I also had like three or four pairs of running sneakers that were the grey and green I just I can get enough of it I love that color combination so this figure talks to me in so many ways and of course comes with the green red echo of the ferret which looks kind of fetching in the army green I've got to say still like I will say it is one of those is one of those sets where I was I definitely had scratching this one was it necessary I don't I don't know if it was nested in the I don't I don't know if it was necessary or not I mean obviously if they've sold a crap ton of them by putting snake eyes in there and a very cool let's face it the stealth pods pretty damn freaking sweet as well because it's seven eighty eight branded you can add another character to the blim in seven eighty eight team so that's pretty cool

58:48it definitely has a point to it but I don't know how important it was to do a versus two pack of two vehicles and two figures maybe we'll get more of that actually next year who knows but like I don't know it's it's an interesting one because I both want it and wasn't sure it was necessary at the same time and I don't know if that was just my you know my kind of collector OCD kicking in you know but the other thing I will say is if you separate all out I'm all here for a spuffy sticker on my snake eyes check I'm here for a green red echo of a ferret cool I'm definitely here for a trouble bubble but in seven eighty eight deco with seven eighty eight branding and a stealth viper I'm definitely here for that but all together that was the thing for me it was like I don't understand the reasoning behind sticking them all in the same box like it feels excessive I don't even think it feels like a cash grab couch boy like like couch a cash grab is such a weird phrase

1:00:06when it takes so much to like put this stuff together like I get what you're saying it's a cost saver is how I would put it but at the same time it's got a cell and if it doesn't sell I don't know if it is or not like I don't know what the numbers are on it then it isn't a cash grab is it do you know what I mean it in that case it's a it's a mistake so I don't know I just find it feel like I don't know what this is I can't work it out I don't I don't and it's the whole set like the whole thing together as one thing it's just it throws me through a loop and I can't quite understand it but in terms of like each individual component I'm actually on board for it just not for like in one go and I don't know what if why my head says that but it does anyway there you are there's the other side of the of the varment love that name for it although varment is kind of like a little bit you think a

1:01:11varment would be more like on a cobra name but it's cutesy so it then kind of falls maybe less like aggressive so maybe they went that's why they went for varment for the jose but it's hard naming stuff when you've like all the names all the good names have been utilized let's face it and they all the good names we used in the first 8000 products from the jojo brand yeah anyway anyway anyway any who then we have of course another close up of the the livery the tampos on the on the varment quite like the old school star and the jojo like a very very old school jeep like millet US military jeep sort of style with that star like that it's very nice and then of course we have the stealth viper beautiful deco I did I must admit when someone mentioned that it was funny

1:02:16that they did the red echo the stealth viper use the retro version sleeve like the short sleeve version and then painted the arms red anyway I do find that quite funny too but I guess what they're trying to say is that he's wearing like a tighter undershirt of red which is cool I can get it's not like he's got hair on his arms like friggin was it out back you know he had painted hair though didn't he didn't have sculpted hair so you can get away with it on the range viper tea but they've done that a few times they've painted sort of like arms you know certain colors but yeah I don't know if it doesn't make I don't I wouldn't say it doesn't make sense then I mean you know it's like again it's just wearing like a tight you know like undershirt is all I see it as I don't necessarily think it's way beyond the realms of you know possibility it would have been cool too I don't know again like maybe they did it with the you know with the bare skin and thought it looked a bit odd I don't know it'd be interesting to see it with the sort of like arms out

1:03:24but yeah I think the actual stealth vibe looks freaking cool though really freaking cool and then of course a little close up of the old helmet nice and shiny shiny helmet I love the texture on the jack on the secondary that you can see it on the cobra logo as well that sort of lovely texture on the shirt very nice indeed cool and then of course we have the actual trouble bubble which is very very nice love the deco love the 788 call out that's a move right there putting it in a specific sub team is a good move yeah and I'm not sure if the crimson strike team necessarily I mean it would work with the scrims and strike team I would say but I think the 788 is a really cool nice sort of sub team and I like that they kind of did something with that I really do it's a shame actually as well that we didn't get more of that with other has labs like obviously the the Arctic snow cat sort of thing is being dealt with of course in multiple ways new character new Arctic characters three pack Arctic assault or the Arctic kind of like three pack army builder situation

1:04:40but you know the dragonfly you know didn't really get much in terms of it's kind of you know crew or what have you I know we got airborne technically as a sort of like companion piece in the main line late like around about the same time but yeah I find it interesting that they didn't really go all out with the dragonfly making like some cool sort of you know accompanying elements but you know we still I mean I'm not going to complain we still got some amazing stuff and it's not like we haven't had toys like what we're talking about I'm literally drowning in classified toys it's unbelievable but you know the rattle they got the the flight crew addition which was kind of cool still wish they I still wish they'd kind of I know clearly some costing was done to remove elements from the the box that it comes with but I don't know I kind of feel like they could really simplified it with just some rope you know just like like just throwing a bit of rope so that we could like tie it to the bottom of a rattler you know like a three way sort of

1:05:55like a or a four way just kind of like connectivity to each corner to like the middle and then I like just a bit of rope that did that would be fine like I think that would have been cheaper as well than like you know casting a what I kind of have to say is a bit of a pointless strap like it doesn't really do anything and it doesn't do anything right because obviously you're just connecting the two points to the back of the truck but for what to drag it along the ground no so I kind of feel like it's a bit of a missed opportunity there to do something simpler and more effective that would have you know worked really nicely with the rattle you know and I'm not I mean let's face it we anyone could probably fix like a or construct our string a little kind of like set up that could air lift those boxes so it's it's not like the hardest thing in the universe kitty said but I just kind of wish that more have been done on that in a less had been done on that which would have equal more is what I would say on that.

1:12:04be mackerel probably put something out at some point right anymore any more for any more yes this has been happening as well in the week and it's not it's like you'd think like all this is good news and then you'd eat you delve into it a little bit more and it was just as awful as it could possibly be so lots of scarlet Chebang two packs were cancelled on target and then oddly enough those who had them cancelled target must have obviously got another shipment in or something or whatever it may be and decided to send customers a sort of like putting putting in their car basically that's something that they went to purchase and obviously didn't in in in previously gave them 24 hours to check out to make it yours and from what I could gather some people went in like got the email got the thing in there you know in their cart went to purchase it and it was sold out again so not the best not a great look I don't know how many people were successful in this venture it's hard to say because we're only hearing about the people that were unsuccessful for the most part that's what seems to happen

1:13:25the most and it's doesn't you know makes a lot of sense as to why that would be the case you know people are angry and peed off when that kind of stuff happens so yeah just really you know odd stuff kicking off and of course all the usual outlets were reporting on this as it was happening and such a weird odd move yeah I got mine on pulse in the end I believe so I wasn't really that I wasn't really kind of paying attention to it but for those of you guys I hope that whoever got theirs cancelled and then put back in their car like this were able to actually check out with it but yeah good luck on that one. 1:14:33shelf warming in places I just wonder if their redistribution could be better you know like I remember working for toys or else back in the day and if we had product that had been sitting on the shelf for a while um there was certain situations where people could you know if they couldn't find what they're looking for in one store they could get that store to contact another one that might have it in stock and obviously we have that information on hand so we could make a phone call to another store and say hey you got this in stock get great cool put on hold or send it to us and then this person is going to come in by it you know when it comes in so we could do that sort of stuff and I found that really helpful as a customer as well if you were looking for something and it wasn't there that day whatever you they could call around and people could you know well this is we you know we've had it for ages we can send it over to you well we've got enough we can send you a few from our store and that was happening all the time because all of the you know there's still loads of shipping happening and it was just a case of just putting it on a truck

1:16:38but that is not the case now they have they have broken up this spread out the panels so GIO and transformers will be on Thursday so New York Comic Con 2026 will be kicking off October 8th to the 11th and Hasbro will be holding a GIO and transformers panel at the event that takes place on Thursday October the 8th at 7 15 pm eastern now one thing I will say is they've also added on that this is from toy news international shout out to TNI we should we should also have special coverage on Wednesday after noon October 7th featuring Hasbro products so check back then what they're referring to is a press event that is happening on the 7th which I will be at in New York off site in a building near the javits um for this Hasbro press event that is that Wednesday I think it's from like four to seven I want to say so I'll be doing that on Wednesday um reporting from it and then going back to the hotel that night and doing alive
