We are your host, Kristen Walker Smith and Kelly Black. Hey, it's Kelly Black here with today's thought. Let's open up to Isaiah chapter two, verse three. I love the temples, sweet and special power. It's spirit every time I attend, brings peace and joy to my heart. But at a recent state conference I attended a visiting general authority taught us that we often mistakenly attribute the temple's power to the temple itself. We talk as if the building had a unique power. Why are temples so amazing?

It's because they are the literal houses of the Lord. Jesus Christ's spirit is even more present within the temple walls, which is what that special spirit of the temple is really all about. Isaiah taught in Isaiah chapter two, verse three. And many people shall go and say, come ye and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord to the house of the God of Jacob. And he will teach us of his ways and we will walk in his paths. Yes, the temple is amazing, but it is amazing because it is filled with the power of Jesus Christ. The temple is where we go to learn about Jesus, to be taught by Jesus, and to be in Jesus's home. So, to take away of the day in five words or less, Jesus's home has his power. Thank you so much for being here today and for coming closer to Christ with me, one minute at a time.
