Thanks for listening to the Von Hesler Doctrine podcast. Follow the doctrine on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Instagram, and Twitter for even more content. Our one of the Von Hesler Doctrine begins right now. I'm your host, Eric Von Hesler. Surrounded by my friends that I'd like to refer to as the Doctrine heir Tim Andrews is here, Autumn Fisher is here, George Clark is here, Jared Yamamoto is here. And let me start by asking this question. Hot enough for you? Is it hot enough for you? Hell yeah. It could be a little bit hotter. Yeah? How was it more human? Yeah, I like it too. Yeah, heat index today could get us up there in the 102 to 104 area.

Now, some people say they don't believe in the heat index. It's just these are the same people who don't believe in the what's it called the fun on the winter side when she went the windshield. But I do. Like, because to me, if it feels like it's 103, it's a hundred and three. From a tense purpose, it's a hundred and three. I get the difference and I understand you're compounding humidity on top of temperature and the barometric pressures and all of these sort of things. But the temperature in reality is what it or not in reality. The temperature that matters for a human being is how hot does it feel. So I believe in the heat index. Thank you very much. And I will die on that hill. Bravo. Yeah, call in. And fight me. I will go out in the parking lot and I will fight you about this. Because what else? There are people who think it's just there's it's just frivolous to have the heat indexed in the windshield. But on the other side of it when it's when it's cold as hell and you know, it feels like it's 22.

Then for me, it's climate. Climate alarmist. Is that what it is? Climate alarmist. OK, that's a climate alarmist. Well, I'm alarmed whenever it goes over. Wow, 90 degrees. I'm deep. Oh, we never had summer before. OK, I get it. Never been hot. Sure, it's always been hot like this before. But not pleasant. The actual temperature for Atlanta this summer still has not broken a hundred degrees. I get that. But the between who cares about the actual temperature if it feels like it's over a hundred degrees. See what I like about it when it's this hot is that when you go do a workout outside like I did this morning, it's like a double workout because you're swi I got home. I was drenched smell everywhere. Oh, I smell wonderful. It's a double workout. That's the thing about the heat like this makes everybody smell better. You know, all those gen Xers who are into a pheromone maxing. They're Gen Z. Is that Gen Z? Gen Z is in the pheromone maxing. Yeah, I was thinking Z and I said X. Yeah, Gen Zers who are into the pheromone maxing.

This is their day, man. Go out there. You know what? Put on a winter coat. Go run. And then just take off the coat and go into a cafe and sit down next to the prettiest girl. And my guarantee is you'll be taking her home. She's going to smell that stink from across the cafe. Say hmm. Throw that coffee down. That's his mind. Yes. Get in there belly button. You smell good. Yeah. I like that moist lint. Oh, it's true. It's my earthy punk band back on the back of the day. What's that? Moist lint. Moist lint. Yeah, why do I have a good name? Yes. We thought as a punk band anything that was gross was a good name, but the word moist. It is gross, but it's not punk. Moist itself is gross, yes. Yeah, although, you know, a moist cake is a good cake still, but moist. Moist has moist makes you think of really, really bad things and smells, but it's not all bad moist.

Some things you do want to be moist like a weird word. Say it to yourself five times. Moist, moist, moist, moist, moist. So you can do moist. Didn't you make eye contact? Like this. It'll sound like it's from a different language. Moist. Moist. Moist. Moist. Didn't you guys play it at exotic moist lint? Moist lint. We did well. No, we actually, we went to edisatic. Oh, we still have friends. We told our friends we played. We played hacky sack in the park. I'm dead, I'll understand. I don't know where I'm back someday. One day. One day. We had to change the name. Why are you making moist a two syllable word? Moist. Moist. Moist. Moist. Moist. Moist. Moist. Moist. Moist. I'm just trying to make it. I'm just saying if you really take any word, maybe not any word, but a lot of the words in the English language. And if you say them over to yourself.

They sound weird. Well, no, it could be because you know the way that if you just hear somebody speaking the language that you don't understand. And so what you're hearing is just, you know, like, fonics. You're just hearing noises. Tones and sounds. And if you take any word that's even common words, I've done this all my life, like corn. If you say that enough in your head, it will suddenly sound like a foreign word. Corn. And then in a way, you'll understand like what the English language sounds to somebody who doesn't speak it the same way the Chinese language sounds to somebody that doesn't speak it. Corn. Moist. Moist. Moist. Moist. Moist. M Hurryng. I love corn. Cream of corn. That's the universal language right there. Everybody understands cream of corn. Not cream of corn. Cream of corn. It's cream of corn, isn't it? Yeah, I don't know. Creamed corn, yeah. Creamed corn, yeah. Creamed corn. Antheum it. Did it lose a fight? Yeah, I milked into? I milked each kernel myself. I loved creamed corn when I was a, when I was a kid.

I have not had it in 100, I mean, I know that if you go to the right sorta Southern restaurant. They have like cream corn and it's if it's made properly It's actually kind of good not the stuff that came out of a can in the 70s that I used to eat But I haven't had it in a very long time, but I was a kid. I was really into the cream corn I never got into it too much. Yeah, we did it frighten you. Yes, it did Frightened me it would talk to me would make fun of me laughing my crooked teeth Well, that's the whole thing about cream corn if you know it'll tell you your babies ugly. That's delicious. Nice teeth loser What was you did you have two sets of teeth or something? Did you have a I had I had sort of they called him sharks teeth. I had the These I teeth that were behind the The front teeth. Okay, and why was that? I don't know what we just like is it just genetics? No Irish if you Irish I've seen a lot of people who are Irish who have that and They all have to get braces

It's not like a kind of a thing and you you did eventually when you were like 27 or something. Okay, I brought them when I was 30 you did you did finally take care of it So when I first met you you had those teeth. I just don't remember. Yeah Yeah, when I started working at 96 rock I had those teeth and then I got good insurance and I bought the braces Well good for you your teeth are fantastic now You know when people ask me about Tim Andrews. I lead with the teeth you do I do I say men this guy's teeth are gorgeous I need to have them all removed really I want the veneers and I want the autumn's mom had this really cool surgery I wish I could have because once you get to a certain age your palate won't expand so you have to have it Cut open and expanded manually by a surgeon. Oh, right and I need that but You know you want to be painful and horrible. Yeah, imagine it while your mom told me that it was yeah I just read an article about how Veneers are out. All right. They what do they want? Well, I mean it's out to say out just say you know woods coming back to the organic animal I know I know horn teeth because I'll do that well

It was interesting this this article was really about it may not be out for the riffraff But there was a time in like anything else There was a time where only the a-listers could afford Veneers and so there was this period of time where it was like every celebrity or like every actor all of a sudden has these bright shiny teeth and then they became affordable and The point this article was that This is the way fashion always goes in cycles at first only the rich Can afford something and it becomes the Tony thing for them to have it But then all of a sudden they look down and all the riffraff are doing the same thing and they decide well We got to do something else now. I don't know what they've upgraded to from the veneers. I don't know what's next Well, I think what that's referring to is people who have normal teeth and then You know get veneers on top of that. I think it's too bright. Yeah with Tim You know, it's it's like a correction of something. No, no, no I'm saying Tim is firmly in the riffraff So I'm not saying that that amongst the riffraff it's out But the the the a-listers the really the beautiful people have noticed that everyone else has it

So it's it has no cachet amongst them Whereas these things always start out with the rich trying to impress each other And then they do it so much that at some point the price comes down and the riffraff can get them all jelly roll looks His teeth to me look too bright a lot of people their teeth look too bright. I wouldn't want that I would want it to look natural. Yeah, I almost didn't notice his tattoos His teeth were so bright. I know Yeah, well, he was uh, we didn't really cover it because I was annoying to me the whole thing but He was the host for Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy Kimmel takes a month off every year or something His guest host and Rosio Donna was there and she went after Trump every night and then Jelly roll came in and he went after Trump every night and I'd read some of the jokes and whatever and some of them were very funny Pretty funny. I don't know not like he was writing them, but you know decent, but uh, I can't take political commentary from a man But tattooed his love for his face. I you know, I it's generational. I understand it's generational But I can't beat it. I try to be enlightened

I try to I try to be enlightened and me know, hey, you know, okay. He's got tattoos all his face But you know, he's still a voting American. He has a right to his opinion of course But I just if you come on with political commentary and you've got tattoos all over your face That you've lost me, you know, I have a little bit of jelly roll if you want to hear him. No, I don't want to get into it Okay, I don't know He was like last week. He doesn't like Trump. I yeah, I get it You know and uh strangely enough, I guess some people do. Yeah, whatever. I'm not getting involved in in that hole There are still a collection of people who look up every day and go. Yeah, this is exactly what I wanted This is this is and you know what and I wanted him to get richer too. So it's it's perfect But uh, it all worked out the way I'd hope it all worked out that my low yanopolis is back in uh the UK You know, we that's what I wanted. I wanted an influencer to be able to call the White House and get somebody throwing out of the country within days We now have the country I always wanted If you got a lover yeah, Laura Luber just decides, you know that uh, yeah, I'm one citizen

But but I'm I have more power than you. Oh wow did you get elected just no no no. I just I know people get him out of here Lord and I can just insane. It really is. I mean he's I don't care about him But uh, it is kind of insane that uh Some woman something's just call up the president and go hey, he's gonna be in Louisiana. You ought to go get him And then they just in them a couple days later although he was given uh You know special treatment because he wasn't sent to the library He wasn't sent to Africa somewhere wherever they're sending everybody else. He was sent back he went to the UK I think he probably Knows enough people that he only would have been there for a he would have done better It would have been just another pain in the ass for him, you know Like he would have eventually made his way back to the UK because he knows people and as long as he gets to a cell phone He can call somebody who's gonna bring them over there, but it just would have been one more step of humiliation It's interesting though that boy he has lost all of his twink looks This scene is not coming more. Well, no, but he's also older. Uh-huh. He didn't say he's still living with a man with their friends

Well, there was wasn't he living in some we were talking about the silly day I mean either you know I get confused either we were talking about the silly day or I was watching somebody else talk about this But he was he was living in a mansion like for the last six months or eight months or something while he's been Kanye's manager or whatever He's been living like in a mansion In Los Angeles. I think it's like a famous mansion some family owned it at one time and some rich guy Lives there now and basically he's been living there and He left California to go to Louisiana for the Kanye thing and that's when he uh because I think California is more difficult to kind of NAB people like that but Louisiana it's like they wait for them. It's like hey, he's in a red state go get him He was living in the Garbott house. Yes, and the silver leg neighborhood of Los Angeles He's still married to his partner, but they don't do the sex anymore. Is that it? Uh-huh Cuz I saw something from his partner that said it was so was he in the Garbott house with him Oh, no, just says he told peers that he's still legally married to his husband

But they don't do sex anymore. Okay. Well, that's not that's not unlike a lot of marriages Yeah So it does happen for time to time the gays are just like us Of course, hey, this one when when gay marriage went through Which by the way I called for on the radio back in the 90s. Thank you very much When it went through that was my first thing was uh, you know wait wait 10 years and we're gonna get an anthill Of gait of horses and Within 10 years of and I think I'm probably right on this uh, you know half of the plays on off Broadway You'll be about the you know gay marriages and and people hating each other. It's always the next step You know, it's if you've never been married before then it's oh marriage and then then comes marriage Yeah, there's marriage. Why are you looking at me? No, no, I'm just saying there's marriage I mean I've been together with a say person for 40 years, but you know they It's not it's something you gotta work on, but there is Marriage which is you know getting married in the honeymoon phase all of that and then there's marriage

The melancholy suburbs those those plays are coming the movies. Yes. Yes. That's what I'm saying I'm dropping off the kids at school the the downside of a mayor of uh of gay marriage will make its way and I'm sure it has by now You know, I have a man to off-Broadway and quite some time. Oh wait a minute. I've never seen anything off-Broadway You know me. I'm a stupid tourist whatever's on the big marquee Huh? Is that what spider-man turn off the dark? Yeah, I'll waste my money on that stupid tourist I was reading an article a day about some FBI guy I was giving advice about what not to wear when you're a tourist because the people who want to rip you off and pick pocket you and target you They look for you to be you know a basic tourist one of the depends on where you're traveling to Right. Well, that's these how idea was you know first of all know where you're traveling and and know what they wear Basically on a daily basis. Here's something that they don't wear leggings Legs in other countries most other countries that don't wear leggings. So if you're wearing leggings

The people who are looking to target you kind of know also he said Stop going to other countries wearing the The shirts or jerseys of your favorite team that tells people that uh you are your your your your tourist you become a target also a fanny packs and those little things those little things that uh That everyone knows you put all of your valuables in oh the strap the strap. Yeah, yeah, the strap says tourist Target that person. I thought they wore fanny packs in Europe. I don't know listen. This is from the fx FBI I can't vouch for them. I'm just telling you you know I know after going earlier this summer there were definitely some Europeans that had fanny packs But I can understand why a tourist. I mean you're trying to carry more stuff Those were sneakers either well you can wait right According to the this FBI guy don't wear flashy sneakers. You can wear like Normal things like tenies. Yeah, but if you yeah if you wear you know your your pink whatever

What do you wear? You wear the Jordans that come in after you know This guy's dumb enough to wear $200 on his feet This has got to be an American chuck tailors. Okay. I would think yeah, yeah But you don't want to wear if you if you got one of the big sneak companies outside of Jordan like right now the things that people I saw some garish pink sneakers in this Hocus that are real. Yeah, like yeah, yeah, it says they like you know if you're on a hike and you're you're wearing shoes Because they're good for your feet and wear them on a hike, but don't wear your pink I'm walking in this European city and I don't want my True, I get shin splints My hoax my leg it new balance has been making a big comeback in the sneaker game. Yeah I can wear them again and not to make fun Yes, you can sir what happened to Puma's they still around uh, I love Puma's gotten more in the clothing the ATHLEASURE game is what they call and that's another thing you said never wear Don't wear the comfortable stuff don't walk around in the ATHLEASURE

They know you're from America and they target you at that point I'm just trying to help here people. I'm not saying I agree with any of this I just want you not to get you know lose your wallet and if you use that term you deserve to be robbed This is my F. Leisure Well, you know for me I'm I'm kind of I'm not annoyed by I would say that I'm I'm taking a back with Gen Z fashion because it's so much about being comfortable And I think of like young people should be dressing to peacock around and impress each other It's old people who should be dressing with you know So it makes me think that Gen Zers are maybe mentally like a little bit older that and it's good to be that in there a lot Oh, well, I'm not saying they're a wiser older. I mean they just act like they're older I don't know that I I think you know, I just think it's weird that 25 year olds dress for comfort You know unless they're laying around the house You know those jeans that don't that now the stretchy jeans and all that to me

That seems like something that would be for somebody 50 years or well You know it's more that you can't afford jeans that are actually denim And so you have to get the stuff that's ed old navy for $30 and then it's all made of plastic What a regular jeans costs. I don't even know. I order them from a 60 by I order I have my lady order them Time of time I get a few in the air. They're expensive Like 80 bucks piece If you want to get real good jeans, they're gonna be Just get Levi's is what I always get their 50 to 60. Yeah, Levi's at Target can be like 56 I think I yeah, that's all you need I mean I'll leave eyes on you can buy that that's expensive Well, I know, but I mean that it's worth it because you can wear them for 10 years You know, it's like it's it's better. Well, don't get fat. Well, see that's the thing Well, then I get too thin Well, that when they pat it out You gotta throw a little padding in there or put a belt on yeah, there's always the belt with yo-yo dieting. Yeah What how about some how about some stability This is my business. She's starting to have to seem like a Levi's problem

I mean my jeans made a plastic Stretchy jeans it's just like I remember when I was growing up like the old guys and these are not really around anymore And I don't even know how to I don't like that they would wear these slacks That had that built in belt that would slide it was like it was it was part of the pants. Oh, yeah I know I'm talking about like it was just like okay that that person has accepted the fact that you know They're in the last chapter of their lives. They've given up God, but just isn't giving up or is it I know I don't there's no need to impress anyone. I think golfy golf pants Kind of like that. Yeah, but but people would wear them all around and I was a kid So you know, I'm thinking they're 70, but you know, they might have been 50 40 and they're 30s Possibility I saw them as being way older than they were in my town We had a store immense clothing store that was very popular until about 1978 79 and then we got like a Walmart and stuff like that people stopped going there Guy stayed open through the 80s never bought new inventory though

So the clothes and you walk in there in 1988 and the clothes in there from 1976 It's just horrible and he had those pants. Yeah So it was the belt if you don't know what they You could it wasn't a belt belt. It was it was the same it was the same cloth of the rest of the pants on the outside But within that was a belt that could be cinched. Yeah, and it was just like okay. That's that's that guys I'll be going to his funeral pretty soon He's not gonna be around too much longer. He's completely given up. I was uh Sitting I was spending a lot of time outside the end. I was so I don't have my shoes on and I was looking at my toes And it's been a while since I trimmed them and I I thought to myself those toes Are obviously belong to a man who's been married for a very long time and has no need to impress Hey, I let him get to the point where they were just really quite gnarly. Well, they started like curl

Uh, you almost no they went like that the fingernails of that guy in the Guinness Book of World Records or anything You remember that guy? Yeah, how do you type? Well, he had he had a typist. Okay, it's he had to hire someone to help him with his letters I do remember they got it hanged out all curly, but didn't they go like round or any? I'm torn almost like a rounder. Yeah That was the original Guinness Book of World right. I don't know what the Guinness Book of World Records looks like now Because you got all these phony baloney. Oh Did the most jumping jacks shank. Let's just got one Yeah, I saw that somebody was uh, I think who I saw a thing where Christy was upset by it Yeah, I saw that cringe thing. Yeah, those are getting they're really fishing for material Yeah, cuz you know if you're gonna do like something and say oh, this is really cringe It shouldn't be that you show me the clip and I go no, I think Bert saying the right thing there It's like a like cringe. Can we stop stretching the meaning of cringe and just cuz I want with your jeans. Yeah, we got two stop stretching your jeans. I'm talking to you Gen Z

Stop stretching your jeans and stop stretching the meaning of cringe And Lana Airport gonna be busy Labor Day Hey Passengers May there at least 17 hours before your plane takes off Just to make sure that the seat that you paid a thousand dollars for is actually still available for you They're always up to shenanigans those airlines usually get the extra entertainment at the airport Drainies because we're gonna get the plane to pianos and the violin Oh, good lord. I love the violin people. They're oh in that quick. Yeah So you're in a Frankenstein movie Yeah, it's just a violin and an oboe Why that's why that's why that's why that's what I want to clear it That's what I want to hear while I'm sitting around or not sitting around standing in TSA

It's better than the drug dog sniffing you. I'm a I would imagine I think for yourself. I would imagine I would imagine That uh They're gonna have fully Like the TSA is gonna have an agent at every one of those little booths You know they have those little booths like their hosting game shows you get to you know, you know look into the Look into the phone the camera They all look like they know about the hosted game show they have little Little podium there's that bright up Uh take off your pants, sir. I would imagine they're all you know, they're all gonna be staffed But what annoys me is when they're not all just can we just I Up our taxes for this if you have to but Just let's let's have them all it's like when you're at target and there's long lines and there's like 16 registers They don't have anybody Manning them or womanning them or people manning them whatever is acceptable staffing They're not all staffed Anything to yourself. What would you why do you have six? Why did you build out?

Why did you build out 25 cash registers when you only have four? Ever open and sometimes I feel like that when I go to TSA even if the lines not all that Terrible but how about if the lines not all that terrible? We're through in like a minute or two. How about that? Why does it have to be? Well sir you and I can discuss that in the back. We're going to be doing a deep I shouldn't have said anything on the air. Yeah, a deep Gavidy search. Yeah, I knew that they were I knew that they were listening So expect a lot of that Because you're going to have 2.3 million passing through Hartzfeld Jackson Tim Andrews airport That's not official yet. Maybe I got ahead of myself there. I probably shouldn't have mentioned it's It's going on the truth. Yeah, it's going on. I knew the 10 planned to run for mayor at some point. Yeah, okay Hey We have to do one of those radio things where you run for office. That's right. I'm your road for mayor of Tucker Georgia Because you're running me

I was gonna say something but I won't yeah So uh speaking of airports kind of This uh wheel of forcing announcer Jim Thornton. Oh, that's right Suspended. Oh, no from wheel of fortune. What did I do? Uh, we don't know exactly what you did But you did something while you were on a plane son in American Airlines flight And the passenger reportedly complained about Thornton's behavior leading law enforcement to briefly question and release him at the gate So they pulled him off the plane. They pulled him out and well they didn't pull him off the plane Because I think I think now hold on I think that the plane landed and they just they called ahead and said we need some cops there And then they questioned him but they didn't arrest him and they let him go But that tells me that whatever he did on that plane But he got back to the wheel of forcing people this wasn't about legality. It was about So was he you know, I'm just I'm speculating here. I'm not even allegedly I'm just wondering on my mind. I'm not saying that he was right here

Like was he was he drunk or something or was he was he giving an Irish shadow Something I'd like to buy a beer Two easing to be in an hour So he must have gotten some sort of altercation with somebody said something. Oh, yeah, do you know who I am? Do you know I am I do all the announcing God wheel of fortune Look at this That's right all expenses paid trip to Funtale He also did shows for celebrity death I mean voices for celebrity death match back in the day the Cleveland show and Pixar's monsters Incorporated also worked on the prices right and jeopardy go on down And Of course Yeah, we don't know exactly what he did, but it must have been I mean he's gonna play Plinco I love that game Let's just see where he goes Make your bets hey ladies Roni Rice errone still a thing they give away

Right here Rice errone was they gave away a letter if it weren't four games shows in the 70s No one would know what rice errone was but as a result of it everyone it was like and it's good I've never I never I never It's delicious Tina made some earlier this week. Don't burn the verma jelly, but boom it was delicious Toast it put the butter in Well, I guess I can thank high rollers starring Alex Trebek As the host or introducing us all to write errone giant deck. It's a San Francisco treat Remember that stupid high rollers man. I know there was this it was like was that like 74 somebody five Alex Trebek people don't realize you did everything before jeopardy he had a lot of shows that didn't go Then I go for a little while and then he'll call in bill column was the last go-to guy because once the year once yeah But Alex Trebek was kind of an adjournment too And I was I was enamored with game shows met something in the 70s I mean and then when you're on summer break and you weren't going to school man

I would watch three four five of these things a day. I just absolutely I mean I really got into him and I think high rollers is my favorite because the dice were huge Yeah, and and then they would silly with card sharks too. They would roll these huge dice. Yep on on this Like a little like almost like a bill your tape. Oh, yeah, it's the same thing as like in Vegas. Whatever you call those tail Crap's table. Yeah, and yeah, like felt table. Yeah, felt table. It called the show crap But they were huge just they were just ridiculously huge and I remember that Then when when they if they accepted the whatever the dice ended up in they locked it in they would pick it up And take it over to the wall where there was a large like cubby hole the size of the dice and stick it into the wall This is a great remember it was all about moving parts said just ridiculous nonsense and over everything was four times larger than it needed to be and Alex Tobak would do a bunch of show I became a fan of Alex Tobak in the 70s. He had a big big fro big fro and a big puffy must

Yeah, yeah, and who knows what's going on? Dig it. I'm Alex and there's a on YouTube. There is a clip I don't remember I may have seen this live But I don't remember seeing it live where the female co-host was a bit tipsy really because those things they would make them like They would make five they like they would come in and do like three on Friday and two on Saturday. Oh, yeah That's why the that's like the Match game drunk on Yeah, match game 73 if you or whatever 70 whatever and Holly would square if you would watch the ones later in the week They would the the guest stars would be drunker because they would take a break And they'd go to lunch and then they would sit around a drink all afternoon long and come back and shoot the other two So usually the Thursday and Friday shows. So maybe this lady. I can't remember what her name was She was the she was the lady who picked up the dice and put them in the big cubby hole, I think and But there's one it might be a I can't remember exactly what was the purpose behind it But she comes out and she starts talking and she's obviously I got this is the four this one

I'm endorsing her because Somewhere I love those lines Yeah, that's our first that's our first path and we think maybe that we can we can have a little fun and be called racist Because you know, everybody loves the wine mom Kamala stuff, right? We're right Yeah, I'm glad they died the fun time I would imagine Kamala's like got a a wine mom reading group like she's with you know Book club I know I know and what we do is we read books. Yeah, but a lot of times honestly we don't even read the book And you know what we do we we have Almost like a community like a village together and we share our stories and our opinions and our thoughts and why are

It kind of shows what why are Democrats uh so into this concept of the village? I don't know the things were so great. I don't think it's a Democrat. I think it's just women I mean because women are doing it, you know sisters don't have for themselves Sisters why then why do they need a group for them so as a group? Okay, as a sister together She's short circling guys oh Well it sounds like you're having a blast God she might be running again on a 28 that's on every afternoon Oh really I keep my heart healthy. I have cheerios I am an a Cheerios, low tart I think that's what it's called in Antio I, uh, uh, heart something and I take it with water. I do. Well, let's put you in the mom's call water.

Uh, is it box water? Great water. Oh, no, that's cut water. You know, they say you're supposed to cut that, but I don't understand how you cut water. I understand you can use water that cut. Grand Canyon. Ever heard of it? Yes. That's how the Grand Candy came to be. Yes. That's right. My legs are in הכ water, and my leg is shaking. You want to look in your concealer my knee's stationary. You look in your bag and I said come to me quick and I will keep my pants here too, and the bag's in my bag. And you want to look and I say just lift your neck really deep. And you're also set your area to just lift the bag up right? You pull the bag so aら part of the air sucks. So, that would be sitting pad but if they had an air pump in, I'd go get all garbage inside and stuff, and I would And it's organizations that would actually come in That's like a black rock. It's funny, Carla. It's funny. I'm gonna take it now.

Our two of the Bond Heistler doctrine begins right now. I throw that out there because a lot of people are wondering, you know, Eric, the show used to be a lot more political. Used to have all these ideas. You're always telling us how we should live our lives. How come the show isn't like that so much anymore? That's why. So, in this beginning of our second hour on this Wednesday edition of the Bond Heistler doctrine, I'd like to talk about the world's most expensive ham. Seems like people need stories like that, I'm by a rock. We need more. This was trending on X earlier. Oh, hey, listen. People are talking about ham. People are talking about ham. You want to know why they're talking about ham? I'll tell you why.

The world's most expensive ham sells for $10 million. You know, sometimes these... Is that a stupid thing where it's like, it's a ham stuffed with a gift card of $10 million. You know, it's one of those things where they don't really give you the whole story in the headline. And so the whole story is it's a big auction and all the money goes to. So you really just... It's kind of ridiculous, I guess. Where does this happen? In Kentucky. The prized country ham. This is from Unilad. What is that? Kind of a bro website. Unilad? Kind of a... It's like a pharmacy or something. Is that from... It sounds like it. It sounds like the people that make that soap. That's Unilad. Yeah. Unilad and Chai are very similar. Remember that website, Chai, where all the videos are... And Unibrow. Is that the same umbrella? Yes. All the stories about Unibrow, it's Uniboo.

So Unilad is a bro site? Yeah. What do they do with bro sites? They like, bro it up? Just like, male generated content. Right? So it's got a lot of like, anything from 18 to probably 45 years old, like bro content. Yeah, okay. But what is that? Protein shakes. These are the protein shakes. Sure. They're sports things. It looks... It's relaxing. Think like, bar stool sports, but more for like, I guess, out of the sports umbrella. Well, that's show. I can't take that show. As soon as the eclipse, it was still on on the FS1, that bar stool sports show. Oh, I don't know. I tell you why I can't. I just, you know, you got to put on pants. I can't take you seriously. I can't see a bunch of guys sitting on, you know, like you lounge and out on a couch or a comfortable chair and shorts and just like, I get it. This is how people are when they're sitting around. Do you hate when people are comfortable? No, I don't like it. Yeah, yeah, that is true. I think it means... No, no, no, no, no. Don't want generations to be comfortable. It means you're not... It means you're not trying as far as I'm concerned. You need to make it a little discomfort. You're on television for heaven's sakes. I'm sorry. I'm against this idea of...

And I can't, you know, I think Shane Gillis is very funny. I can't watch his podcast. He's just like, it's always like a couch and... Well, just listen to it. Well, I guess there's that. But I don't really listen to podcasts. I just kind of watch things that are on YouTube. So it's not... If I'm listening to something, I'll be listening to the music. His thing he did with Louis C.K. With all the presidents, that thing is epic. It's great. Epic? Yeah, but you got to listen to it. Don't want to check. Because they're just slabs. Yeah, I don't want to tune in and look at dudes being slabs. It just doesn't do anything for me. It just doesn't. It seems like you're just not trying. You know, try... You don't have to wear a bow tie. You have to wear a tie. Hey, you know, the pandemic taught us something. It's... You don't have to try. I guess. You just do. Yeah, I guess everybody just... Hey, the pandemic's over. Isn't that a good thing? Let's start acting like it. How about... I mean, can we just start acting like it? Let the pandemic's over. Oh, sorry. No, we're saving money. Let's find our dress shoes. Let's make an effort.

Let's bring hygiene back into our lives. We're not living out of our homes. Doing all of our jobs out. I guess a lot of people still aren't. Yeah, the ones. I'm only back to like half, right? Oh, it's over half now. But Atlanta, for example, is the number one city for hyperdworking, where you work partially at home. Yeah, but I don't... I just really don't... I don't... I think it's not good for the people who are working, especially if you're... I remember when I was, you know, when I was just getting into radio, I was 23, 24 or something. I think 24. And it was my first real, real job. Everything before that was restaurants, bus boy, waiting, doing dishes, you know, that kind of stuff. You know, working at a boat, trailer factory, you know, just weird stuff. You get enough money so you can party and then quit, you know, one day, you know. Those kind of jobs. But the first job job I ever had in radio, you know, being around other people and working, it had a lot to do with, you know, just who I became and the people that I met,

I still have friendships from then. I just... I feel bad for people who are in their 20s and they don't go... It doesn't necessarily have to be an office or I guess it would be an office if you're in construction, you can't work from home unless you're working on your own home. So these are all, these are all like office jobs. But you know, there's a lot, you can't duplicate this part of your life where you're kind of forced in an office. You know, we can all talk about this stuff about, you know, everybody and inclusivity and inclusivity and all of the stuff like that. But in an office, you're forced to, you know, you're just, hey, that person's sitting next to you and the cubicle next to you and they've got their life, they brought with them and, you know, they've got their background and they've got their religion, whatever. Yeah, that's when everybody gets inside their own bubbles. But you know, there's going to be the break room that's going to be me. I just think it's good. I think that I want, I speculate that there will be something lost

when these people are in their 40s and 50s. Now, maybe something new is gained. That's always a possibility. But I think something will be lost in socializing, in learning social cues from other people. You know, I don't think on Zoom really, maybe you can learn this, but not as much as in real life. Like, this is something that happens. Okay, you're in an office. Somebody else hires everybody. There's a group of people. You didn't decide who's going to be around you. You've got to deal with them all the time. And let's say you're being a little funny or something. Like, you have to be in person with somebody halfway through what you're talking about and the way you're talking about it and like notice by their eyes or their facial. Like, oh, this isn't going over very well. And now I can pull it back. You know what I mean? But throughout that, you're learning about socializing with people. And I think something's going to be lost. I don't know. I remember on Zoom already lost. Remember on Zoom and team guys, if you're upset what's something that's been said, you can send a frowny face. Oh, yeah, well, that's true.

That's true. And then everybody can just feel uncomfortable. And no one really knows why you're frowning. You could also moan everyone. That's true. I can't remember who was telling me this, but they were saying that they had co-workers on Zoom, that they thought they hated. And then they finally went to like the office party or whatever. And they're like, oh, that guy's not as bad as I thought he was over Zoom. Yeah, that makes the point. It could go the other way too, right? I'm sure there'd be people on Zoom that you thought were wonderful and then you get around them. And then she was so fat. Some people use other things for the judge. I couldn't tell. You know, like bad breath. Like you could think somebody's just a great person and hang out with them at a party for two and a half hours and realize they're jerk. But I mean, it's just the workplace is, there's a reason why so many sitcoms for years have been about, you know, like the pit. You know, like where everybody's descarred. And because that's the way the office, yes. I wonder now if people who are like say 21 or 22, they probably look at the office as like, you know, as a way to learn about the way things used to be.

You know, I mean, even now when you watch the office, there are some old things about it. Like you're just like looking at your like, wow. They don't have iPhones. Yeah. And then we are did out by the fact that the person on the office that reminded me most of autumn in real life for real name is Fisher with the same person. Yeah. Yeah. As any time I watch that, now I'm not like a person. For German spelling. Yeah. The good German spelling. Okay. I've never, I'm not one of these people like autumn and many other people who have, you know, really binged out and know the office all the way through. And to me, it's just a good show every time I've watched it. I've pretty much enjoyed it. I just haven't taken the time to kind of go do the deep dive with one day, maybe, you know, when I'm in a home or something. There's a way out to watch. Yeah. Yeah. As like somebody can, you know, but pull the bed up a little bit. I think get my head up a little bit like that. And then I can watch that stupid TV. And, uh, oh yeah.

I'm not as well binged the office on the way out. I think we're at the 25th anniversary of the British office. Oh, are we? I think I saw all of that, but I may have checked out of that a little bit early. Um, because the first few episodes of the office that we know were kind of like clones. They were clones of original. Just very, very early. And then they got smart and kind of became their own thing. And then there's the, how many seasons without Carell? One, two. I don't know. I'm not very good. I think it's two. I think it's more than that. I saw. I saw. I did. I did see one though without Carell that was still pretty good. So they must have had a terrible. Oh, they're not terrible. Yeah. And there's some little moments and things, but it's just, you know, the, the, the creativity kind of runs out for the characters. They write too much into Dwight. But isn't that true? Isn't it true though that any, any sitcom can go on, you know, exactly, exactly after a while. You just went too long. Like cheers. You got to ask yourself the question when you're in these situations. Is the best show behind us?

Or in front of us? Once you get to that, what is it? 100% occasion? Then you got to start asking yourself that question. And if you're asking yourself the question, why are they talking about the office and not politics? Why you should be discussing? And I try to be a view. Yeah, it was amusing. Let's say good afternoon to Alex Williams. Alex has a better news. Oh, look, I just saw Dr. Joe is out there. Dr. Joe will be on in the five o'clock hour. Oh, yeah. I'm not going to be on in about, what did that, 38 minutes? Okay, great, great. Dr. Joe. A little bit longer than that. You know what I'm saying, Dr. Joe? I love coming in here. I'm here for you. I'm here. The other night I was ready. I was on standby because Tim wasn't feeling good on Sunday. Casey hadn't showed up. I would have been about five hours. I was at the high. I love being 11. Thanks, Dr. Joe. I'm pretty sure. I'm going to tell you about something new that I'm doing. I'm trying out the new thing. And it's going to be Dr. J. O.E. So you're talking to J. O.E. You're going to be changing your name from Dr. Joe. So I'm going to be Dr. J. O.E. You know, like Louis C.K. You know, people like him a lot, right? People love him.

Get Louis C.A. Right? He's never been more popular. He's never been more popular. Right. Right. So tell me Dr. Joe. We can't call you Dr. Joe anymore. It's Dr. Joe. He can. I mean, I would prefer it if you call me. Are you branding? You're changing your branding. Yeah. I had a meeting with, uh, meeting with Ken. He told me, yeah, you know, you got to have a little branding. You know, if you want to stay on the air and I want to stay on the air, you know, I want to keep getting free tickets every day. But mostly I want to, you know, keep helping people. Dr. J. O.E. Dr. J. O.E. Dr. J. O.E. Dr. J. O.E. He stands for extra tickets. It's a mind like Miley Cyrus has changed. Yeah. What's her name? She's just Miley now. She's trying to say. It's a dolly part. Tell me to do it. Yeah, well, I mean, people say, call her dolly, but, uh, she told me to. She's my godmother. I know. Very good. Very good. So I'm going to be a little bit more honest. I'm going to be a little bit more honest. I'm going to be a little bit more honest. She told me to. She's my godmother. She told me to. Very good. Very good. So you're just Miley now. Just call me Miley. You can call me. Do you really, do you really need a, I mean, I, it seems to me like your brand is doing pretty

well. I don't know that you're having a choice. Hey, listen, dolly, don't be to do it. So I'm doing it, baby. Doesn't have the best relationship with her dad either. Yeah. I was neat. Drop it at you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what behind this. You can't stand your father. But also dolly part. My godmother. Okay. So you're just kind of deferring just back to that because you don't want to have boobs and I had a butt. Yeah. You still have. You still have. I mean, you're still here. I still got it. I saw her when she was out of her glam. So you're just, you're just pushing us that way because you don't want to talk about your dad and the way you're dropping your last name. Boot scoot boogie like everybody else. Are you sober these days? Yeah. Sober is a church mouse. Okay. All right. Great. You sound fantastic. I got a picture of my butt. Okay. You want to get a hair drop. It's everybody who allows hair dropping. Okay. Well, that's fine. We'll gift. We'll give. Welcome. That was with the new name. New album coming out in the 18th, too.

Hey, you got a new new. I'm buying my own album. And also as a follow up, we found out who bought that. That water was what it was. They had the ham that went for what was it? A million dollars. I've now. Yeah, I was $600,000 a slice. It went for $2 million, right? 10 million. 10 million. I closed the story. I'm sorry. It turned out it was said Kentucky. It was. It was Mitch McCullough. Yeah. Did you buy the $10 million ham? I bought the $10 million ham. How could it ghost by a hand? I've been using this. I've been chucking and cutting off a little chunks of it, needing for breakfast once and then it. She says here it goes. Wow, she doesn't know what she's talking. We're just. We're just. I mean, a barn eating that ham. I'm totally naked. You're running on my body. Eating the ham. Well, it's nice to be checking and see that you're doing well. Everything works by the way.

Alex Williams says 85. You know, sometimes you see these. I mean, these reports, polls, whatever you want to call this one. They're calling this one a report. They have to wonder about it. This is this is from a publication online publication known as food and wine. If you were wondering what they covered, it's right there in the name. Food and wine. But I. Snacks. You know what? I would push back on that and tell you find out that this whole story is not about food or wine. It's about beer. Does beer fall into the food category or the wine category? Neither. I consider it a snack. Perhaps this is a story about a snack. Number one beer in America, according to a new report. Now, I find this difficult to believe. And I'm beginning to wonder like, is this one of those things where the company behind the beer? Does the poll and finds out magically there's their beer?

Because to believe this, the number one beer in America is a Michelob ultra. Oh, for sure. Absolutely. It is. No, he would know. He's an alcoholic. He's a functioning alcoholic. We have to. Why though? Well, I mean, because. I remember one. I had a very radio cut of sound there. But why? Why? Why? I was Michelob ultra the number one beer to catch. Well, I think because people like it. Why? Because of the flavor. Sparkling delicious flavor. I don't know if I've ever had. I'm sure I have. It doesn't taste like anything. I'm sure I have. It's because it's light. It's cheap. And it is. And it's ultra. Hey, you're getting the top or most of the popper. You get the 12 packs and the 24 packs are actually in most cases cheaper than the butt lights and cheaper than the. It's Miller's the quarters. So it's the most popular because it's less expensive. Low calorie. Low calorie. That's a big deal. Low carbs. Yes, low carb. It's funny.

I got low carbs and then in the peel. I'm on a, you got to get your carbs. I'm on a low carb. I can't even know what the hell carbs are coming on with you. If it's that the thing they get burnt off. Is that the calories for fuel? Okay. They give you fuel. That's what it's called. It's a carbohydrate. It's what it's what it's what it's what. Oh, Dr. Jo, Jo, Joey. I can tell you what it's all about. It's all about carbs. So, Michelop Ultra, most popular beer in the US based on Google search interest. Is that a real thing? Yeah. It's true. I have other stats saying Michelop's the best, too. Now there is one outlier and that's Modelo because on total dollar sales, it's higher. You see that's my go to. My go to is Modelo. Modelo is great. Modelo is great. It's got nice little flavor to it. It's light. Crispy with a good taste. Yeah. Toss a little lime in there. Mm-hmm. Now, this is what it's the other beers that make me wonder because how do you say Stella art. I always just say a star. A to a to a to a to a to a to a to a to a ranks first in more states than any other beer

leading searches in 12 states. I don't know. So I guess cobbling all the rest together. Michelop Ultra ends up being. But according to this, Stella would be the number one favorite beer in Georgia. I don't see that. I don't believe that for a second. That seems like fancy pants stuff to me. Well, who these belges think they are. Yeah. Well, it's their own Budweiser now too. So they sell it as a non premium beer at all the fifth or at all the venue. Stella? They do. Stella, yeah. I thought it was a premium. It's not a good. Yes to be, but I don't think it is. Not anymore. No, Stella is easy to get. Peroni is everywhere too. I think there's a new. I wish I didn't have that. I like the per oh yeah. I'm going around. You got that. That's that banana thing. It's going to be good. I only have, I only, what do you, what the curve? Or, or, oh, okay, I didn't know if you told us the beer or the, what? I ran into a wall. I'd get them to self together. Yeah, I, I just, I just don't see, I don't see Stella as the, as the big beer around here.

No, I mean, number one here in Atlanta, you have so many different breweries that are going to cut everything down. Yeah, it's going to cut everything down. Not everything down, but I guess if you're getting something that's mainstream. And my comes to Peroni, I would say this, I, I like them, but I only drink them when I'm at an Italian restaurant. If I'm at an Italian restaurant, I will get a Peroni, but I've never gone out and bought a six pack or a 12 pack of. You want to know something crazy about Peroni? They just made a new, tell me something crazy about Peroni. Most Peroni's that you get here in the state of Georgia are come from Macon. They have a new, I guess, distillery down in Macon. Well, it's a large, it's been a large Italian population in Melbourne. Very long time. Y'all come and charge, forget it. Crazy fat. That is crazy. It is a crazy fat. I mean, my brain, well, you think when you're getting a Peroni, when you, you think when you're opening up that ice cold Peroni, you're like, oh, man, this is straight from Italy, right? Nope. Macon, Georgia.

All right, next time in an Italian restaurant, I'm going to bust them. Yeah, you want to do anything else from Macon? What else you got? Mercer University making their own logger these days. So you can give to me the bear locker. That's also somebody wearing a Mercer t-shirt and I was like, oh, that person? I can't remember who it was. I don't know why I'm bringing it up. Okay, cool. I'm stupid to bring it up. Sorry, hey. I was watching something. It's some celebrity somebody that I never would have expected would have any connection to Macon, Georgia. Maybe they don't. Maybe sometimes you just get, it becomes cool. Like nobody even knows where your school is. So I like this shirt. And then it becomes goodwill. Well, this was like a celebrity. I don't think they're good. Celebrities go to goodwill. Do they? Sure. Are they slummin? No, for fun. Have cool vintage things. It's making fun of the poor when they're rich. When they're rich? Yeah. Yeah, it's like, hey, let's dress down. Let's dress down like the riff raff. Let's, yeah. Vintage is cool. Vintage, you can go to a vintage shop.

Vintage is cool. You can go to a vintage. What's that? What's that? It's a gear rated. Yeah, what is that place? It's a place in a little. No, little fraggerama. It's a little fraggerama. It's too expensive. It's too expensive. The fraggerama is expensive. Yeah. Nancy Grace went to Mercer. Was it her? No, it wasn't Nancy. Nancy Grace. Hey, do you know that new telescope is out there? It's called Nancy. We just launched another. We just launched it. Yeah. Yeah, the exoplanet plan is like. That's right. It's looking for exoplanets. It's a real sexy science. Child murder. You're going to find all the missing white little white girls in the universe now. That's right. And you're little and you're kidnapped and you're born. I got you. I got you. KC Anthony put the other kids on those other planet. It's called the Nancy Grace Roman telescope because that's Roman. No, because it's named after a woman named Nancy Grace Roman on astronomer. I don't look it up right now. I don't want to be. No, it's not after me. Yeah. And it's in search of all the missing little white girls. I will find you. I'm going to get you.

I don't care if they're hiding you. You're about me about to. I don't care if you're hiding behind Neptune. I do care if you're not white. I'm not interested. I'm not interested. No, she got that. You know, she got that reputation goes over a show. And I never watched her show. But was it, is it true or was it, you know, it was just that the prettier and wider the kid there. Yeah. That's the ones that more coverage she gave. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I can't, Nancy Grace. Didn't she get her, her big break wasn't it, was it OJ or am I thinking of, uh, Red Evan Sustram? She got her break on CNN with this other guy who nobody remembers anymore because they would do updates of the OJ Simpson trial in the 90s. Who was the other guy? It was like, they were lawyers, Red Evan Sustram and whatever. And they started the show on CNN. And I think almost immediately, OJ broke out or the show, they started the show because of OJ and that's where she got, uh, her fame. Well, people, I got a little bit of traction because people thought I was a long Island

medium for a long time. They got me confused. What was she doing? She did show with Johnny Cochran. No, this was after. No, no, no, no, no. Nancy Grace, right. Nancy Grace. Right. But that, but I think that was after obviously. Yeah. She's on GorgTV and then she went to CNN and got, it was the Casey Anthony story. The gunner for her, but what was, who was with Greta, Greta, uh, George? You don't know who you're talking about anyway. I don't remember who I was. Wait, we have a standoff between Greta and Nancy Grace. I'm not Greta Van Fleet. I'm not in the cover van. I got the hotel too. Roger something. It was a, no, Roger mud. No, Roger mud. And I feel bad. No, it was a Roger Waters. I feel bad because she went off and, you know, kind of had a more of a career. You know what really sucks if you type in Greta Van, you know, you don't get me first. No, it's cold. No, I don't think so. Are we gonna, are we gonna just keep trying to guess who this person is? We have until seven. I see that, uh, that while looking at Nancy Grace's Wikipedia here that she's married to a man named David Lynch.

How about that? Not the David Lynch. David Lynch. You married to, uh, David Lynch. Are you married to, uh, Nancy Grace? We're always out looking for missing girls. Alex Williams says there's a crash. Dr. Nancy Grace Roman whom the new exoplanet telescope was named after was NASA's first chief of astronomy. That's right. You're Nancy Grace. Have you seen her? Well, we lost her in 2018, but, uh, that's why we need to tell us. I get whoever took you. Your Nancy Grace, she's Nancy Grace Roman. You were not a astronomer. Thank you. Uh, hey, is this, is this, I was a little confused by the story. Does the, the dollar coin with Trump's face and gold finish go on sale today? It said Wednesday in this story. I don't know if it meant to be a day.

I believe it is. And this is a celebrate America. I know I didn't know if it meant next Wednesday because the way it said it, it goes on sale Wednesday and I'm reading it on Wednesday. When was the article? Uh, well, it was, uh, it's today September 2nd. And it says it like if it was that day, wouldn't you say today as opposed to Wednesday? So I don't know. Somebody, yes, George written for future readers. Uh, somebody find that if it goes on sale today, is it? Is it, uh, so it meant the beautiful men? It's the one dollar coin with Trump's face and gold finish on it. Um, uh, you know, heads, heads, I win tails you lose. It's the Trump coin. That's right. Oh my goodness. That he went away. No, I, no, it's all right. Are there in circulation? No, no, I think they're commemorative. I don't know. No, no, no, no, they are. It's a dollar coin. The dollar coin. So it's not really gold. No, no, it's good. Well, come on. Even the nickel has no nickel, right? Right. Yeah. The roll of 25 coins, guys, is only $61. So that sounds, that's still it. It should only be 50 or 25.

It should only be $25, right? So that sounds to me like it is commemorative. Why would you pay more for it than? If you're buying it, they're probably uncirculated. That's why it's more expensive. Plus shipping. Right. So it's not part of the, is it, is it, is it, but they're, can I use it to buy things? Yes, you can because they're dumping it into circulation. But nobody else, fandom, nobody likes dollar coins in this country. Well, the dollar coins have never worked. I remember the, uh, maybe a hundred years ago, they did. Um, when I was a kid, um, uh, so I remember the Susan B. Anthony coin before that you had the gigantic Eisenhower dollar. Yeah. Right. Then Susan B. Anthony, Susan B. Anthony, it looks like a quarter. Sackage away up was like in the 2000s or something like that. Maybe the 90s. Yeah. And it was like, nobody's ever used. I remember people like the Kennedy half dollar. Those were kind of cool. I had a couple of those. Yeah. Those are, those are kind of cool. And before Kennedy, it was, um, Ben Franklin was on it. Where is that true? Mm-hmm. You know, that's to be true. This is an information. Yeah, I have something there was silver. You know what place gives you those dollar coins? It's, it used to be a little bit annoying.

Yes, Marta, when you would put it in cash in there. I have done that a couple of times. And I'm like, I haven't seen a dollar coin forever. It's like, I've never treasure. It's like, oh, I got these gold to bloom. It's like you won the, it's like you, it almost seems like, if you get enough, like you put enough, like $10 in. Yeah. And then it's like you, you, uh, won the, you got a jackpot. Yeah, I got a jackpot. Yeah, it's bizarre. And now they want to expand it. I know everything's digital now. They've all gone to the tap to pay now. So you don't even need the breeze card anymore. Everything's digital. Can you pay with cash? I don't think so. No, they have to. They're government. On the bus, you can. They're government eight. You have to be able to pay with cash. You think? Yeah, you should go the machine. You're right. Oh, well, you have to go do that reverse thing. Will you get a card for your month? Yes. Correct. It's like the reverse ATM. You put money in and you get a card out. Kind of thing. We got any traffic going on? Or will you just eat lunch over there? I'm making sure that I get this written out correctly. Did they stop the traffic? Uh, Alex Williams says 85 North. Our three of the bond, Hesler Doctrine, begins right now with this hour's keyword.

And WSB is a grand for groceries giveaway. That keyword for this hour is Sunsun. S-U-N. Go to the WSB Radio app or WSBradio.com slash groceries for your chance to win $1,000. Again, that keyword is S-U-N. Sun. Very quickly. I was wondering, this is the first with the new dollar gold coin thingy that is available today with Trump's face on it. This is the first sitting president to ever have his mug. And literally this is the mug shot. Donald Trump has got more out of his mug shot than Johnny Cash, which is pretty crazy. But it's the first sitting president to ever appear on coinage that is in circulation. And the Sesquicentennial was at 26. Calvin Coolidge, they made a commemorative coin that had Calvin Coolidge and George Washington on the same coin.

But that was not in circulation. So this is the first time a sitting president has had a coin in circulation. And as I was looking through all this stuff, I found out that there used to be a thing from 1851 to 1873, it was called a trim. And it was a three cent piece of the United States. So you had a penny or you could have a trim. How do you find it? From RIME. It was like, dime, but trim. Yeah, and there were between, I don't know, $6,700 or something. Oh, really? 2,000 bucks, yeah. Depending on the condition. Well, you were telling me that there's some kind of other certain of these new Trump coins that are a little bit different that might be worth money down the line. I read there's about 200,000 that were minted on the 4th of July at the Philadelphia Mint and they have a different stamp on the mint. Okay. But coins are like that. You know, sometimes there's a coin that was minted at the Denver Mint. And when they hit it, the strike was wrong. So they had to do it over. Yeah. And so maybe a thousand of the pennies got out.

They had the weird strike on it. And then there were thousands of them. See, I thought I was going to make some money because I thought you would inadvertently made me some money a few days ago because you gifted me some collectible cards, tops cards. And one of them was Paul McCartney receiving some Guinness Book of World Records thing for the most pop hits or something. I don't know. But it happened in 1979 and it was the series of cards that 1950s are. And I thought, oh, maybe this was a misprint. And then I looked it up. It's only was like $2 because apparently every single card that they made like that was the misp- was the 1950s. So they just kept it. But it's kind of odd. That wouldn't be wrong. I thought, oh, man, I'm not giving this money back to Tim. If I, if I, if I, if I, I would have known it. Yeah, you would have, oh, so you checked it before you broke, but I would have known if it was a, if it was a, an error. So this, apparently this thing was only worth a few times. Yes. Dr. Joe is here because it's Wellness Wednesday. And on, on, on Wellness Wednesday, we bring you in because you're into this whole wellness stick.

You're not just a chiropractor, but you're into the whole wellness shop. Dick package. And since we're in radio and a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, big deal to us, we thought, well, it's Wednesday, wellness Wednesday. We know Dr. Joe, bring him in. Let's talk about what's going on in the world of wellness. But I would just like, I want to start here. I think there's an article that threw in there about this, the seven best ways to avoid dehydration or something. The seven tips for managing extreme heat from the New York Times. And it's old. It's like it's from either last year or earlier this year or something. But I just wanted to, because you know, Lionel Richie, now he's 77 years old. He started a tour. Right. And he couldn't even finish the first show. I don't think. Right. And he, and Dr. said he's dehydrated. And he's, but he's kept the tour going. And then last night or something, he had to sit down for the finale of all night long. And because he was still dehydrated. Now, number one, I want to get to it a moment, you know, some tips that you have beyond just drinking water or whatever.

Did not be dehydrated, but it's 103 heat index outside. But for Lionel Richie, like, is there something like chronic dehydration? Like, if he, I mean, a few weeks ago, he couldn't finish the show. He knew he was dehydrated. Isn't there something to do? Just like pour a bunch of water on him or something and it doesn't work that easily. Unfortunately, yeah. Now it could have been a digestive issue. We may not be passing water. We may have a kidney issue. But also drinking water doesn't necessarily rehydrate you. That's why I have these sports drinks. Now, I'm not a fan of sports drinks because the artificial sweeteners and dyes and the chemicals and everything else. So you could easily make your own sports drink. Get some water and maybe a quarter teaspoon of air dried sea salt or Celtic salt or Baja. Gold is actually the best. Baja Gold is good. That's a salt. And don't smoke. I don't know what happened if you smoked salt. I didn't want to be tried it. I don't think you should. You don't know. Are we taking that position here on the show? Bonhez, so doctors say kids don't do it. There you go. You can mix it with water.

But not anything else. So you put a little bit of a boiling and steam. They say, so you just take a pinch of it. Yeah, I'll tell you a story. I had a woman one time. Oh, everybody Chris Cross applesauce. Dr. Joe's good to time. My doctor, Jay. All right, what you got? Had a woman she was pregnant and throwing up so terrible. Had a had a had a patient patient. Okay, I'm sorry. Had a woman had a woman had a woman. Kind of thought I couldn't. I don't want to think somebody with a man was pregnant or something. Okay, sure. You had a patient. I had a patient. Yes, she couldn't even take ice chips and she was so sick. And I thought we're gonna lose her and the baby. So I said go sit in a bathtub because your skin is a sponge. And she couldn't even take water and she sat in a bathtub within five minutes. She said she's she's starting to rehydrate. Really? Yeah, water is a story. That is. That's a story. No, no, but because you didn't think it was she thought it was no story but the mix said that, not me. It was an anecdote.

So what is so why was she able to take it in through her body when she couldn't take it in through She was so nauseous with the morning sickness sitting in the tub. She absorbed it right through her skin Now you could also sit in Epson salts, which is magnesium and that'll absorb through the skin as well That was salt It's a magnesium salt. Oh magnesium salt. Okay magnesium. So we call it Epson Whoever I'm absolutely absent was I don't know. I'm sure you're right. He was a bro. He was a saltologist day My podiatrist used to tell me when I was a kid when I had in grotonials You'd soak your feet in the Epson salts and it would help. Yeah, I know my mom had some around I don't know what she was yeah, I don't know what the Epson salt is supposed to max is a Bottle stimulant if you drink it. I don't want to know that about my mom. Well, you look great. It's not just I do Yeah, my mom would like put it in the bathtub. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, and then I Don't do that all over the memory of my sweet dear mother. I'm just Sits what is it says that same thing? Yeah, I sit in warm water if you have hemorrhoid you sit more more

More in it helps We didn't have that conversation I had my my your child's degree tear I sat in a sits back. I did work. Yeah, how long do you have to do it? How long like I don't know I didn't like thinking about it. I just kind of like disassociated while it was happening I mean was like two weeks or just like a week or something like that. I don't know month a year I'm still doing I'm still doing Right now the tear never he'll that's right. Well, it's Tears for tears Sits to get it away these Botox for those tears to you can put Botox in that area relax as the muscles are so tight relax as the muscles Dr. J. O.E. All right, but what should normal people do not normal people but people like you are Afflicted with with deep dehydration. I got a day like this where it's a hundred and three he didn't oh drink throughout the day

Absolutely you want to be drinking you want to make sure your and is also good drunk get drunk. That's what I'm saying What a Jared here beer. I said drink. He heard get drunk Alcohol will dehydrate the hydro you coffee will dehydrate you caffeine. Yeah, but Drinking throughout the day is important if you urine should be clear. Oh, yes That's when you know you're drinking enough water if it starts turning pale yellow or starts getting cloudy or something That could be a sign of dehydration so What if it's blue? Then you probably did methylene blue Which will give you electrons into your ATP cycle and you electron cycle to generate a Mydokondria energy I think the next thought after you realize this blue the next thought should be have I taken the time to make up a will Yeah, right Go on like quick. Yeah, the next the next stop there But drink throughout the day because you're gonna be sweating and this is how you know if you've had an issue is when you lick your lips If it tastes like salt you have enough electrolytes in your body if you taste your sweat and it doesn't taste like salt Uh-huh, you've lost a lot of electrolytes you go into severe dehydration. Okay. What what are you laughing? I think I'm a little bit

I think with a pretzel yeah Yeah, we have to just take a pretzel George Carlin skin here What if she's making out with with with pretzel these days? Oh, she's she goes to auntie and she does face with the pretzel. I love that. There's Joe know about this Yeah, you're you're his aunt Yeah, oh Alex William's William's is checking the ride around to 85 Dr. Joe let people know how they can get more Dr. Joe Sunday night right here on WSB following the Sunday show with Tim and George 8 to 10 I will I have my show here where you answer your health questions because I want to be your doctor And if you have any health questions you want to make an appointment you can always go to my website Dr. Joe dot com. Deans you wants to be your doctor Also once again the Sowers keyword and WSB is a grand for groceries giveaway is SUN Go to the WSB radio app or WSB radio dot com slash groceries for your chance to win a thousand dollars

What's the next wellness Wednesday story for Dr. J O E? Well, this was written by Daryl. We're changing your name. We were changing your brand. That's okay It's time to change up in this 40 years. I've had this brand. It's not already. It's right. That's a J O E This is from the great Darryl Austin over at USA today. Are your workouts causing bloating Meal timing may be why I know I feel this in the morning when I work out Well, I mean if you eat too close to it then you're gonna be exceeding you gotta get the gas out right? Well, it depends if the bloating if the gas is I'm saying is that you would have that problem well digestion is what's called well again a parasympathetic function when your body's relaxed Exercise is a sympathetic function. So if you're in a sympathetic mode You're not digesting your food properly. It can kind of essentially rot and you got an act and cause the bloating So what is the timing that you would want depends what you eat like if I eat catalog 20 minutes It's from my stomach into my small intestine piece of meat would be about six hours. Whoa Yeah, you don't give a steak. You don't want to work out for six hours? Well, it'll sit in you got

Yeah, so that's not a good idea. Yeah, so that's why you want to work post workout if you're gonna have a big meal like that But workout first right Benny then eat see I was counterintuitive to me I wouldn't I would think you want to work it off well if you have sugar Let's say you have fruit or something or sugar that glucose is gonna be driven into the muscles If you don't have any glucose into muscles then you body uses glycogen Mm-hmm or fat and so if you're working out with less food and you got you're gonna be start burning fat better All right, so yeah, so work out and then eat then eat yes exactly No, if you get a little stuff what you're doing gasy boy. No, you know what it happens is I wake up in the morning And I I work out first and I'm still bloated so but I think it's just because it's hot I think that's what it is yeah, you're like rotting in the sun you get more I think so I think it's what's happening is I think I'm just laying there He just floats on top of the pond All right, what else all right from the nutrition section of helfline.com There are habits to form now so that you can live a longer life. Oh, you agree with these habits here Dr. Joe absolutely

Yes, yes, what are they? Can we change it to Because we know the DNA has a lot to do with this if you don't get hit by a bus right? Can we change it to getting the most Reaching your potential number of years Understanding that DNA's got a lot say DNA we talk you can't overrule DNA, you know, yes, and it's a certain point Yes, we talked about this another time DNA loads the gun Lifestyle pulls the trigger. Okay, there you go, so I'm I'm just saying I'm not even talking about like if you're gonna get a disease Because you're dealing I'm just saying your lifespan. Mm-hmm. Your lifespan It seems to me that your DNA has a lot to do you look at families and you know some families regularly are producing people in their 90s And other families are not so I'm just saying I'm not I think all of these and let's get into these ideas, but I just would like to put it in the context of Get the most out of the years your DNA. Yes says you can have I go ahead. Okay. Yes

So to Mediterranean diet, I mean we look at the blue zones of blue zones where people live the longest around the world Mm-hmm And those are the most centenarians people live a hundred or more and the blue zones one thing in common no matter where they are in the world Plant-based diet. Okay, so you know you think everybody's got to be a vegan? Well, they they meet about two or three times a week. Okay, and in the blue zones, but other than that It's mostly a plant based. I thought it was Democrats blue bit blue zones I know some mega moms who are not gonna be putting up with that All right, thank you, Dr. Joe Dr. J. O E have a great W E K Alex Williams says there's a You want to continue that conversation? Oh, no I'll continue this conversation on my podcast inside baseball with Eric von Hessler And Cody where I explain inside the inside. Oh, radio not baseball how it all works. It's about time an old veteran sat down

Let all you know all those young kids coming up in a radio give Yeah, yeah, several of them so many there's at least a dozen and they need a mentor And so it's about time I sat down passed on the generational Radio wisdom like hey do stories like this do you want to keep an audience and thralled On the edges of their car seats The way you do it is you ponder universal questions like this From the New York Post. I feel like autumn just slipped into her chair I don't know I got I got that feeling from a noise like oh, was that you Are you good? Why I like she's there Why do dads sneeze like that? These are the things that we have to understand loud Really loud yeah, I do it Well, and you're a dad. Well, I did it when I wasn't I build up

For me, it's just I don't you know there's a whole thing about how the it's the it's the wrong way to sneeze But I think it's absolutely the right way to sneeze and I've always sneezed like this which is Explosively, yeah, I don't do it into somebody's face. I mean I find a corner. I'm out you know from outside But my feeling is if something wants to get out of your body let it go let it get out of your I don't this thing where you get a hold it in The body wants to get rid of stuff get out poison Poison yeah, you know I'm talking about Mm-hmm. Everything must go exactly like a fire sale. Why do they say it's bad to Well, I think it's more like just protocol just I guess people don't sneeze like that releasing a lot of Projectile yeah, yeah sure, but you know if you if you aim it toward the bushes who cares? It does say that I don't want that Obama stuff. No thing I just remember I just remember about remember when Obama what was it before the pandemic?

What was it was it was it was a swine flu? Is that what it was? Swine flu and I remember him doing a thing and he showed the kids how to do it the sneeze Yeah, the vampire sneeze. Yeah, and I noticed that I noticed that my sons do it everybody does it And I think that probably Obama had a big effect there you ever lift up your t-shirt No, I absolutely why would I do yeah, why would I do that? Well if you're in public Yeah, but then it's gonna come back on your bare chest Oh my chest is sneezing something at somebody else Yeah, it's a great vegetable. Well, hey listen, it's a gift. I give it to you now You do whatever you will see see you're bearing the lead though with this manly sneeze leading the berry apparently here says girls at a young age are taught to not make a scene or to keep their voices down And men and young boys are not taught these habits Which is why sick what's easy Hold on back off. He's just reading to you. What's in the story? Yeah, this is the reason

Like you were going after him as he was uh being uh autumn the quote is men may face less pressure to stay quiet and can be Judged for looking like they're straining a sneeze compared to women women There's there's more judgment but being taught something. I don't understand well just by your parents It's my culture just by you know Not that you would take it like 101 sneezing 101 I know but I'm okay like if Ellie sneezed Uh, and she was like oh yeah, I'd be like whoa yeah, but you're all pee sneezed. I'd be like whoa Yeah, because you're all modern and stuff. This is this is coming from the past and the the battle name When the ladies had to show a little more prim and proper patriarchal sneeze the guys are out building stuff You need to be prim and proper when he comes home and have his slippers ready. That's no sneeze that period Don't don't sneeze. You know, he's had a hard day for He doesn't want to come home and he's gonna sneeze and read the Bible

Oh, I just think you should let things get out that want to get out that's all and also I've mentioned this before as I've gotten older Tim that gives you free reign. I know as I've gotten older and this did not this was not something that happened when I was younger Maybe maybe post 50 Um, sometimes when I have a upset stomach if I sneeze a few times Um, it alleviates the nausea. It's connected. Yeah, we talked about before and I think we found out If we all looked everybody looked it up and we found out that it's connected sometimes people um when um You know, there's blood in a certain part of a man's body sometimes they get sneezed in too Blood that a histamine thing Uh, no, I think it's about. No, I don't know what it is but People sneeze during sex Not during oh, but like when you're getting ready when you're getting ready That's what nothing nothing old Like oh that outfit's really sick. Oh Boy, that's that's romantic

Nothing gets the vibes in the bedroom go with like a good sneeze excuse my snot good hearty sneeze The word snot I don't like the word snot. I hate it. It's like the word fart. I don't like those words But it's not a part. No I used to work. I think we used to have a traffic The traffic is bad out there on a two fifty five Guy though good guy is All right, let's not go off the rails. I didn't go. I said it was good. We're having a good day. We're on It's been so many days It's been so many days we've mentioned them yesterday Oh, it's been so many hours. Yeah, so very many hours have gone by speaking of very play number one here Because I I think that I think that she got me the use of this open micer. Oh the open mics excuse me Let me let me let me go. I thought you meant cut number one like is in like the actual sounds on your own Okay, well, I mean that for heaven's sake. Here we go. This is for Eric von Heßler

Um, I just wanted to say I think it's funny that you jump all over Jared We're saying very unique when at least twice in the past couple weeks You've said very necessary when talking about data centers and listicles So I agree something is either unique or it isn't but something is also necessary or it isn't thanks That sounds right, but I don't know if it's right. I sounds right to me. Uh, something look out there George Can you modify the word necessary and not uh, you know be redundant or whatever I don't know the redundance the right word. That's why I added whatever very redundant cover myself. Yeah, you know that stuff It's extra redundant. It's uh, it is very unique It makes sense to me what she's saying, but I don't know that it's a rule um in reality I know the unique thing is a breach of the rules of grammar Those rules generally considered redundant. Okay, there you go. All right. We learned something What was her name again? Did you say her name at the top? I don't know if she do. Let's play it again

Let's just were Eric von Hesler Um, I just wanted to say I think it's funny that you jump all over Jared For saying everybody unique when at least twice in the past couple weeks you've said very necessary when talking about data centers and listicles So I agree something is either unique or it isn't but something is also necessary or it isn't thanks Well you are welcome and thank you. We all learned great Learn stuff here. That's what's all about Hesler doctrine. Yes, she does little delicate little Absolutely And she's and so we're all learning together. That's what the von Hesler doctor refuse to learn. Yes, I'm here Well, I don't have time listen listen. I grew up Into this body and this brain. Yeah, I need anything to change well this show I is quite often I think of the show as pearls before swine. I just know I didn't know I was surrounded by

The swine I'm not calling you guys swine. That's exactly what you're doing. You're right. I was. That's exactly right. Yeah, it was very necessary swine It's well, uh, yeah, and you know unique as far as swine very unique I'm freaking tip out with the word swine for some red. I don't know. It's fine. It's really uh It's like a jar full of buttons Freaking off that gross. Alex William says 85 North And You got that new gold gold coin yet. There's anybody got their gold coins I gotta go to the bank and get one. Yeah, 61 bucks for 25. There'll be like 17 mega moms in there in front of you Not in my bank lecturing lecturing the teller Clean and then You know, there was a time in this country When you could get a coin. I don't want a second. You we I won't turn So Autumn this uh, I'm not pulling the Jared here, but you actually are a fan of below deck. Yes, I am and Mediterranean

And there's trouble. I know there's trouble below deck Mediterranean star Nathan Gallagher warned As a wanted on a rest warrant. I know this is September first. This is story September first He was supposed to appear in court. I don't know if there's been a resolution that they found him But uh, he is one and on domestic violence charges and my understanding Is that uh, he met the the woman that he's got the babies with on below deck. Yes. So and this season his Baby is very much like a little diny baby And so he's spending his time on the boat, but then on his off days He'll go to dinner with everybody, but then go back to find his girlfriend with the baby And uh, so yeah, I don't know what's going on. Yeah, the court date set for Tuesdays, December first after being granted conditional bail on December 28th And he didn't make the court date uh, he allegedly uh, you know Um assaulted this so the other woman is that this is this is the woman that has just been charged charged

He's being charged with assaulting her three offenses including assault Occasionally actual bodily harm intentionally choking a person without consent now he released the statement Yeah, well, you have to say that these days, right because uh, it's kind of a thing uh Apparently he had a statement he put out about how hey there's two sides to this and everything and then he didn't show up in court That was uh yesterday. I mean September first. He was supposed to be there. Yeah. Yes, Jay so I don't know if he's if it is Anything new George on this as he uh as he'd been found Was see now before all of this happened was this a heartwarming story? Was he a good guy on the show? He was a good guy. Yeah, there was actually uh, he was best friends with someone um on the boat and that person was kind of treating the women poorly by like you know Tell being kind of like an f-boy. Yeah, telling one woman that he was really into her and wanted a relationship with her while still like flirting with someone else And this person is this is I forget his name Nathan Nathan. Yeah, yeah, he uh

sort of Try to sort of end their friendship because of that because he didn't feel like he was treating people right And one of those women was gale who was his uh girlfriend now so and then he and then she ended up getting pregnant And then they were staying together and then I guess yeah You know, it's funny when I didn't see this in him. He didn't seem like a Well, you know me, you know me after Bill Cosby. I gave up on anybody like I know more No more believing what you see a TV bill cosby was the last one for me. It's like 60 Okay Yeah, you can you you may have a there's another side of the story if it's uh one or two but 60 people are Latching the same thing. Yeah, you know, yeah, he certainly didn't seem like someone yeah choke is you know It reminds me it reminds me of a line from the Hardy Boys series with Parker Stevenson In the 70s one of the Hardy boys Said uh well he doesn't look like he didn't look like a criminal and then the other Hardy boys said

You know what dad tells us they don't look like criminals Until they're wearing stripes And that's what applying here this guy's gonna be wearing stripes. Do they give him stripes anymore? Now we could say orange orange Orange is the new stripes. That's right. Alex Williams says there's trouble Correct a Mundo kaiachi o our four of the Bond Hesler doctrine begins Right now it's Wednesday. That means I should hear Greg Ross's voice very soon. Oh there it is Greg Ross. He's at a hotel. Joan joins us from where are you work? I know where it work The studio space New York City. Is that where prof G set sometimes? Uh, no not here. Okay. Yeah, they don't have a period. I'm not that talented to sit in the prof G chair Hey, listen, I like the prof G podcast. I know you guys are behind it where you work I like the prof G I like the kid like the Ed what's his name Ed Nelson. Yeah, he's uh, he's you know I don't when I follow like financial kind of things

I you know, I need somebody he didn't talk down, but I don't know. I just I like the style But it that way prof G himself sometimes he can be a little bobbit Sometimes he can be a little you know snooty little snooty sometimes. I'm not saying he is. I'm just saying sometimes. He can be okay He's the lead. Yeah, he's the lead discovered dead. That's right. That's right. Yeah, I'm impressed him Ed earned a spot. Yeah, I'm just prof G. It's a good it's a good financial. I get it on YouTube I don't listen to podcast really. I get the YouTube version so it's like in 15 minutes and you know me I've got the You have ADD. That's right. I know attention span so you that snackable content I need snackable financial content and uh from smart people and by the way they have given me no money Now I feel like I'm doing an ad or something. I just happen to watch Old prof prof G with Ed this morning before I came in. There's a microphone above your head right now Yeah, just click on it and put the Von Heistler doctrine and you'll get that free YouTube video for free

Just like I did. Well, maybe I'll get a bonus. Yeah, maybe someone will say yeah, you're helping to promote the show That's right. That's right. And then you'll kick it back to me right this how it works right? I'll give you a percentage circular Thank you. Thank you very very much I want to get updated here. It's not a sports show, but there's a lot of legal stuff going on in sports today More than usual and one of them I dare say you may not have heard this story because I had not Until I came across it. So this is uh, it was stubborn Tony Romo who got a you know if you it was he was in uh Wisconsin when he got pulled over It's not called a DUI or a DWI there. It's called an O WI operating. Yeah, but I've never heard I've never heard it as an OWI and A lot of doctors get it and wiskon Wisconsin You know, that's where Milwaukee is and that's what they make all the beer. Mm-hmm. And so Wisconsin is the only state I believe at this point where you're first you're it's like a

um, a fine a fineable offense the first time everywhere else you got to spend the day in jail and then do the whole thing I believe Wisconsin's the only state and that's where Tony Romo was pulled over Turns out that his I believe we uh, we have a Package to really explain does it get into the fact that he has made an statement since then now I can't remember now I pulled the package earlier, but it does Layout things for you in the course of two decades in a public spotlight It was not Tony Romo's finest moment Okay, pulled over at arrested July 23rd near Milwaukee Romo has pleaded no contest to three charges and it'll have his driving privileges revoked for six months In a statement posted online the 46 year old calls the incident of personal failure adding quote I own this completely Jim Ryan ABC News Now another I saw uh, what he uh The what the breath Elijah was but I can't find it right now it was double the legal moment

Oh, yeah, Tony Romo cuz CBS gonna let you go you know that they don't like you already and you just gave him the best Well so much money. Yeah, what is he king? They still owe him Jim Nance didn't like him right? I don't think well because I like Jim yeah, well I know it's a problem with uh Tony Romo a couple things happen remember when he first started He was what he was like no stood on us like he was calling the next play and it would happen here's just gonna happen Yeah, and I'm back side Like nine times out of 10 what he said was gonna happen would happen and then a couple of things went down He got he got comfortable and Stop doing his homework and and then a few years go by and guess what it's not the chain the the league changes Continually and so he had just been a quarterback the year before when he came in So he was no stood on us calling the plays beforehand because he knew the game as it was then Well, that was back in like 2018 or something 2017 2018 the game has changed quite a bit

Now and he's not doing his homework and can you look? Somebody look I they owe him an ungodly him but he's his contract is until 2030 or 32 or something and they owe him a lot of money Morals class maybe they can get out of it. Maybe maybe if they if they have the right Morals causes are need to million 72 million. They owe him and they don't believe in him anymore They stopped believing in him a couple years ago and and thinking that he wasn't very good at his job now He's given him this and my guess is he's not gonna slide down You know when they say JJ watch gonna jump in for him while this is going on He's never coming back not to that number one team. What if I go to church? Yeah, well you can do it might be good for you, but I don't think it's gonna get your job back So uh Tony just like his career as a player. Do you said you have those things? Well, yeah, but he you know he was Undrafted and he's hurt a lot he was hurt a lot you know he he basically was a Wild success story To become the starting quarterback of the cowboys for an undrafted see do you remember you have his

Then he was reduced ultimately just making noises over the last five a couple of years Oh That's not really commentary and CBS CBS started to know Ha ha ha tiger woods remember tiger woods and he got his latest traffic Anybody he clipped a car in front of him rolled another car This is this is third Misapp it. It's like Tony soprano You know the last this last time uh, he was uh, he took a while to get to get out of the car and talk to the cop because He was talking to president trump on the phone Which we realized that there might have been good reason for that because I think at that time

It may be still he was dating Eric trump's ex-wife. They're married. No. Okay, so he also it seems like a lot of people have trump's number Well, no, there's that but he was a guy being in the car He may have wanted to let him know that there that nobody was hurt So it might not have been or it might have been hey can you get me out of this? Before it even happens possibility, but um He has uh, just see reduced In a plea deal To What is it? Okay tiger woods d. U. I charge reduced in plea deal after deterioration of proof prosecutor says I don't know what that means, but he can't drive for five years. He's lost his license for including a golf cart Did he get drug tested now when you say blood work done because he refused the blood Then that's deterioration Whatever that word is that word to yeah deterioration. Yeah, I have trouble with that because there's no existing evidence to show that he's drunk He wouldn't allow them to get to this um because he did take the breathalyzer Well, that's a good idea. You're not supposed to do that. That's a charge sign would not have done that

Uh, so he can't drive for five years and by the way I've heard this golf cart thing a couple of times. I think that means golf carts on the road, right? You can't He can drive anything he wants. I saw him a Lenny on his own. I saw a millennial headlion He says no, this ruling does not mean he can't drive a golf car Yeah, because we on private property you can drive and he can drive a four to one fifty You want to drive my wife Now those no peach tree city for tiger woods no no the resolution and you know he's not gonna Boy the story is anecdotes. I've heard from people have been around tiger woods when you're not in his you know when you're just working the event Not I mean that's unless unless everybody that I know there's been a mess situation is lying to me Not necessarily a nice guy This is now those are the resolution of two big cases that have been going on in the sports world This one surprised me. I didn't know about this. This is kind of a breaking deal This is from bro bible. We had unilad earlier earlier earlier And I don't know why he's different me to say

Uh, we had some site called unilad that you said was a bro site. Yeah It's kind of like a bar stool, but it incorporates more news now. This is bro bible But anyway definitely bro oriented NFL's all-time rushing leader Emmett Smith and made that point out should be in every headline about this guy I believe one on dancing with the stars. Oh so many years ago NFL's all-time rushing leader Emmett Smith accused of running multi-million dollar fraud scheme in new lawsuit apparently a Ponzi scheme and I looked through this and Basically he got some Native American tribe involved the guy put in $2.5 million dollar loan for an alleged solar project called project exodus Despite the loan being almost two years past due in multiple attempts for return The guy claims it is not recovered a penny And then they went deeper into it and found or at least these are the allegations that

Emmett Smith took the 2.5 million dollar loan for the one solar thing And paid back somebody else for a different business Rob Peter to pay Paul and that's called a Ponzi scheme And so that's where those allegations are and you want to talk about again here we go with uh uh, a well-known nice guy Emmett Smith Fans of football know him as a good guy now Georgia fans have a little trouble because I believe he was a gator Before he went to the Dallas Cowboys But uh not known as something. He's mr. Wonderful kind of person and Again, you know you just can't I think these are allegations. We'll find out here's what Romo had to say Was he been my running back Yeah, you would have done. Yeah, I didn't realize it was the all-time rushing leader And he's also the uh the all-time uh Ponzi scheme Uh, allegedly

Hey, then he cut anybody's head off. No, no, no, he's still on it's still the chip. You're still a chip Alex Williams Since there's unfortunately a crash on Oh, is this uh A sleep talking or something like that. Yes. It's by my Magnus Farrell. This is Will Farrell's son Magnus Magnus Farrell I think his wife is Swedish so maybe there's something to do with that name Well, so the thing is I didn't realize this but uh the VMAs that's the video video musical works Uh new artist category according to paced magazine The VMA's best new artist category has in recent years become little more than an Owned inistic parade of middling nepo babies Shelling off their dollar store tiktok hits This summer's competition is no different except that one of those nepo babies comes from an unexpected

Corner of the famous people world Magnus Farrell is Will Farrell's son. This sounds kind of cool though. Yeah, but here's the thing is I think I I saw Fantano do a thing on this where like these nepo babies. Yeah, they sound good, but they don't sound They sound like other stuff like they never it's like it's not like they're awful and they're terrible But they're never breakthrough. They always there's always somebody else that they kind of sound like Um, and the problem is the reason this guy doesn't even have an album He's just got like seven or eight singles out there and uh he's up for a VMA and how do you get up for a for a VMA That's about what's going on behind the scenes You're marketing your promotion people and that's where the real video and yeah, well, I saw what does it matter if you win one Yeah, well, I don't know I don't know, but apparently there's some others. There's somebody named a little of Towsky's left A.O. AI guys daughter. There's Gracie Abrams is JJ Abrams daughter. Yeah, and all

Then they get these and here's the thing Also not my words. I've watched a few videos on that Anthony Fantano did once. I've watched a couple And it's that there's all also this it's for working is this for some if if you're 16 17 18 19 in your 20s Whatever and you've decided, you know, I really want to try to do this Um, you don't have the luxury of knowing that you're never gonna go broke and you don't have to so you can actually Take the time your parents can afford to get the right mentors and producers around you where somebody way more talented than you Might be a little bit exhausted after You know, a 10-hour shift in the meat packing factory because they got to pay the rent So there's a there's a lot behind I mean I'm it looks Liza Manelli, I guess you could say is a nepo baby, but she was wild So you can You can have less common then, huh? It was less common then sure and it was less common

And it you know, it's so Oh, he's tied very town to bold it. Yes. Yes, Liza. Yes Jojo, so does I mean on one hand it does make sense, you know People aren't surprised if a doctor's son or daughter becomes a doctor and people aren't surprised if so there's some of that That's that's that's there right old man, which good I like the shun, but I I think the the pushback is You know, this guy doesn't even have an album and Also if you go to the Spotify thing there's a lot of plays, but how real is that remember? You know, you know, well, Farrell also is a DJ on the side too. So he goes around and he does gigs Yeah, but what comically yeah, I mean not not comically, but I'm just saying like he has his tentacles in the music I was thinking about this deal. We'll Farrell Ever you know, you hear about this kind of weird thing where he and Adam McKay Adam McKay used to be head writer at Saturday Night Live and then with Will Farrell made all I think most of those

Really big will Farrell movies. I don't know which ones he directed brother is telling the United's yeah and but for some reason that I think will Farrell says he doesn't know maybe he does know Adam McKay won't talk about it But they are no longer friends and they are no and for last few years many years they have not been working together and So where was the magic coming from because in the last few when's the last time will Farrell had a movie that anybody thought was great I he went through a string when he was with Adam McKay he went through a string of movies that were pretty amazing and Hey listen be nice to your friends because they might just be the reason that You're beloved in America. What does he do now those those doing that let's read Madison rip off the golf thing Oh yeah, because remember West saw him that's right that's right and also those crappy ads for What over PayPal yeah, yeah, Gilmore

Happy Gilmore is the rip off not Billy knows. Yeah, he's doing that golf show. Is anybody watch that if you seen it? I tried an episode it was Meanwhile Adam McKay went on to do things like the big short did you like an Oscar did you know I believe yeah I think the big short one movie the year didn't Uh Alex Williams says a crashed I It's just guy is anybody ever read nine my mom is long gone now. She's read many of them because uh as she got older I I got a rickindle account and It was kind of linked to mine my mom read voraciously, but she never read Highfalutin stuff, but she always read And she inspired me to read and I ended up reading some kind of a little bit of a higher level But she always read and so I know my mom read a lot of this guy James Patterson I've never read a James Patterson book. They still put him out though. He's dead. Is he dead? I don't know He's dead. I don't think he's dead and I'm gonna tell you why because I have a story here Before I tell you the story yes, uh, yeah, sorry. You know he licenses his name. Oh, well, it's the story here

That's okay. He's not gonna not get ahead of me here. He's 79 he's 79 years old He has sold more books than Stephen King Stephen King has sold somewhere between 350 million and 400 million books boy the money. Yeah, my goodness gracious Uh James Patterson has sold more than 425 million books He holds the record for the most number one New York Times bestsellers. He was the first author to sell 1 million ebooks He also suppressed 100 million unit sales and print form ads. I mean, so this guy it has sold more books Than anyone right and ever of all time. I would imagine I I can't imagine something more than if you're more than Stephen King They can't you should experience Agatha Christie. I don't consider it shit. Oh, yeah Shakespeare is plays though If you can I guess in a book form, but um Like George said though he he doesn't just license

Oh, you're getting ahead of the story here. This is the story. I wanted to tell you about his newest licensing deal Okay, this is something else What this uh what I'm trying to get to here is is this guy even really I want to know before I tell you this story If anybody's read his books is he a good author Like Stephen King isn't actually the greatest author of all time But he's quite entertaining. It's a good author and it's usually a good read I've read many Stephen King novel see when my mom passed away She had a couple of James Patterson books and I grabbed them and I tried to read one of them and yeah, or it depends What are some titles from like older ones? Well, we have to look those up so to bring Greg back in yes So what he's been doing lately is he just kind of he he links up with somebody really famous Remember he wrote those books with Bill Clinton. They were like mystery books and So this is the latest one Mr. Beast and mr. Beast and James Patterson team up for Fresh quote unquote collaboration on a book called the most dangerous games

So this falls into the licensing thing right So I yeah, I wanted to say about the licensing thing. It's not like he just turns his name over He acts like a creative director or a showrunner He comes up with ideas Creates an outline then turns it over to a lot of people. Okay. These are that he trusts So these are the books that aren't like the collaborations with famous just even his normal books He's normal books. He's licensing his name the way that national lampoon license their name license is their name Right like you can see you can buy the name National lampoon and if you've bought that name for a while Then you can put that on your next movie and say that is our level of quality control with national lampoons I'd say no no Some of the things have been put out, but I think Patterson again. It's not just that straightforward. You can't just buy it. You can he actually Goes to the authors and says I would like you to write my book. You'll make the money I've got this creative idea. This is what you need to execute on so I don't I don't think it's exactly the same right Right, but in this one when he does the collaborations like when he works with your beast right and he wrote two books of Bill Clinton

Now on those situations my guess is he writes most of the book obviously I mean Mr. Beast is they're gonna write this novel But I mean how so in reality Stephen King is sold more books that were actually written by the author fully On the cover there's never been any allegations that Stephen King doesn't do his own stuff If anything he doesn't edit enough. He's only collaborated a couple of times and that's right there That's right there But this is pretty amazing way to make money. You know the what you're talking about the licensing thing Greg it reminds me of like these series That I grew up with like I mentioned the hardy boys earlier, but I was a kid. I like the hardy boys books and So whoever did the hardy boys books from the very beginning he did them the you know the big the ones that I know the clock tower And Mr. the clock tower and all that He did those but then when he died or something his or when he got older he would choose he chose he would choose somebody to be his heir apparent right

And they would write the rest of the books and that's what but it's kind of weird That James Patterson like is he a phony like what's this guy all about like you know? I mean does he know how to write you just smart No, he's still coming up with the ideas Yeah, but I don't know what is actual writing is I have to assume early on he did right but that I don't know for sure Looking up the mr. Beast thing here Mr. Beast had the idea and then he partnered with Patterson who then Assigned it to a writer under his Patterson banner Right Patterson's worth 800 million dollars. Well listen when you sell for 25 million Uh, I think he's a smart one And ask how many of James Patterson's novels that James Patterson himself right All by himself It's almost like it's bizarre I I mean I'm not it doesn't offend me or anything but And the guy smart I guess

40 to 50 out of his Over 300 bucks So so somewhere like he just decided okay, this is what I'm gonna do now And so I wonder if You Tell you do you read these things I mean I'm getting I'm getting yeah, yeah, I'm getting indications Are you giving me these looks because you read James Patterson books? I'm curious out there. Okay. All right. Well, turn your mind. Absolutely Furious out there. Yeah, so by talking about the writers of the Bible Oh James Patterson is a literary god have you heard what we're talking about? I've been listening I wasn't right the book he doesn't write the book this guy the first book along came a spider was the first book I've read I found that book and I went back and found books he wrote before that the guy is he is that one of the 40 or 15 He actually wrote killer's Alice Alex a crawl series Lindsay I forgot Lindsey boxer the women's murder club. What is a writer you are you are

Okay, you are aware of the fact that after 40 to 50 books It's not James James Patterson name Tom Clancy is dead. He's still putting out books. Okay. Well, he's got an excuse Right no, what I'm saying. Yeah, but he has he has like 300 Like 350 books. He wrote like the What is it called the gentleman the first gentleman with Bill Clinton? Yeah phenomenal mystery But he didn't write it but Bill Clinton didn't even they wrote it together. No, James. No, they can't Okay, you don't have headphones on I don't oh wait. Yeah, I know. Listen. We got to go break He has an umbrella of other writers. That's genius. So it was Bill Clinton and somebody else probably To put your lame on it because I read that book because James Patterson Put it in turn it does the does the voice of the author sound the same It's just like clancy's books if you read a clancy book now One just dropped I just finished it a couple weeks ago, but if that is weird to see that if you read a Tom clancy book now

You know he's dead so you know he has nothing to do with it. It's still reads like don't you think? Don't you think most people who read James Patterson these days think he wrote the book? I mean it does it sounds like in his voice. So what you're saying is that he picks Right in his voice the same with clancy clancy contributors who write clancy books now they're Tom clancy writers So they can write in his voice. Well, you don't miss anything I mean you do hear about I will say you do hear about like Da Vinci You know had a whole he had a factory and like a lot of people Were working on the she's thing that rule that's sealing by himself. He laid out a back I don't know my vision of Da Vinci. All right. We've had both sides now. We've had both sides. I'm glad you I've never read them So I don't know I've never read them now. I'm even along. I'm a spider now. I should read along. Came a spot You should read everything by all right. I'm not going 350 a lot of time left in this planet All right, Shelley. I'll take your word for it But I do think there's a little bit of a con going on here. No, I if I write if somebody's names on the book

You know, he has a perfect analogy. We got to take a break. You see what we can come back, but we got to break Alex Williams says there's a crap That's cold cold that is cold blooded there Oh, are we back? We're back. Yeah, I'm still laughing. I shall hate. I decided. Yeah, you we've you've heard enough You're an idiot. He won't read James Patterson. No, I well Shelley was actually telling me the answering what I wanted to know which was I hadn't read it I wanted to know if they were good. He says it's a good quality The voice stays the same with James James Patterson books and so okay, I'll I guess as a brand because he doesn't write these things um I guess it is incumbent upon him To make sure that the quality stays at some standard so that people will buy the next book right there Also movies so long came a spider was a movie kiss the girls was made into a movie That's why he's almost a billionaire uh lease up on our Instagram

Disagrees she says James Patterson is a hack He's like Danielle steel Stephen King is probably the greatest writer of our generation. Oh Okay, that's what Lisa says he's certainly a quite a popular writer I don't want to down I don't want to get down on Stephen King Here's the thing about this is my opinion about writers fiction writers um The greatest fictional writers Each character that's in their books has a different voice Stephen King writes really Good fun books and great stories, but I have to say I feel like almost every character In a Stephen King book that I've ever read kind of has the same voice um So whereas my favorite author and I can say this now because it's not gonna you know These say hey if you if you're high-faluten don't let your audience know because they know they don't want to know that yeah My favorite author is fiat or dusty upsky and he can have a million different people in his story and each one of them has a distinct

different voice um, but I'm not doubt Stephen King Some of the best times I've ever had reading have been with Stephen King so I'm not downing it But I wouldn't say he's the greatest writer of our time and by the way neither is dorsi sky because he's been dead since the 1800s So there's no there's no danger there. I don't know who would who would uh Gormack McCarthy someone like Cormack McCarthy probably would have a better uh, you know, he didn't sell as many the guy who never shows his face What about the guy who did the the the bonfire the vanities Uh, and the George oh yeah Tom wall Tom wall I was gonna say brawns and pincha with us and Tom a pinchon I don't know that pinchon Thomas pinchon Thomas pinchon. Yeah, there's a lot out there But I'm not denigrating steven king thank you. Yeah, he's yeah, he's he's a weirdo, but he writes some fun stories All right, that music is telling us two things shut the hell up and get the hell out and uh We're good citizens we do what we're told Shelley winter But you just heard from big James Patterson fan no matter who's writing the actual book is up next

He's got a great radio show for you as usual really come back and do one more of these this week tomorrow starting Oh, what does stay Wednesday? Days Wednesday. I'm sorry. I slipped in good Monday.
