Good evening everybody. Week 1 is almost in the books. I'm your host, Brandon. Welcome to Dynasty Takeaways. I'm alongside the other side of Wigov. The true gold inside of Wigov. I'm going to pump him up. Now we're talking. On the true, the true, you know, the side that really everybody loves to hear about. It's Jay Rich. You can find a matchup boy, Jay Rich. Jay, how are you doing this evening, man? It's been a long day for you. You had Wigov this morning. You've been putting out thumbnails for other videos, but how are you doing, my friend? I'm good. I'm good, man. I was obviously up very early for wake up. Went to the gym before that. Obviously I'd do a few things before that. But, man, a two hour marathon, talking about every game, but honestly, loved every minute of it. Very excited for Takeaways. When I found that I was on week one, I was like, oh man, me and you, hot takes for the whole show over reactions week one. And then I'm excited for the game tonight,
because obviously it should be very fun. Denver Broncos, Kansas Chiefs, my home's first game back should be electric in Casey. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, we got Bo next to. He's back from an injury. So we got two guys coming on. I do like Bo and he's a lot, you know, water or net offense. Yep, short spread, decent under 43 and a half. So we'll get some fans. We should get some points. We'll talk about that game a little bit, a little bit down the road tonight, but we really want to talk to you first about over reactions because it's week one, man. We went from, we don't like this 2026 class. We can't stand it. All these rookies, we spent hours on stream. And now here we are, week one. We've already had Brock Bowers out for a week. We already had the Strip Club shut down. We've had, like all the guys that we are excited for. I mean, we're going to talk about tight ends here. Like, but let's talk about over reaction because it's very easy to look at one game sample and think, all right, Isaiah likely to the mood, right? Like, okay.
Ray loves, interesting example to bring up. Right. Well, I mean, Ray talks about Isaiah likely. I was a little bit, Scott was like all the way in the gutter with Isaiah likely. And he goes out and he goes out and puts seven for 72, two touchdowns, like, bold, bold, right? The bold out. And they designed touchdowns for him multiple times. Yeah. So, so let's talk about over reactions because it's very easy and dynasty, right? For us to just be like, okay, Call us to level in zero, like straight zeros. Cow pits, witness protection. And it's like, so what do you do with this? What do you do with these guys? What do we do? How do you manage your dynasty rosters, knowing that you probably had one of a Callston level in a Kyle Pits, even a Harold Fannon, who only had two catches 13 yards on three targets. How do you manage some of the expectations?
I mean, first you got to just take a deep breath, right? And realize that it's just week one. And there's still a lot of process that goes into all of this when it comes to picking the players you picked, building your roster, constructing it the way you constructed it. It wasn't necessarily in a short term basis for the long term. Maybe it was a bad matchup. Maybe it was things didn't go their way. Maybe the first and second string quarterbacks both got hurt. So Cooper Rush had to come in and play a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. That didn't go very well, did it? Or maybe it's simple things like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Cincinnati Bengals great example, the Dallas Cowboys, the not that switched the Detroit Lions, more so the New Orleans Saints, all starting slow week one. And a ton of the players on these teams had bad games because the offense couldn't get going. So like in a lot of ways, it's easy to overreact, but the most important thing is you need to make sure that you're rooting your opinions and your thoughts in data behind it. That's why we have Trinity. That's why if you go look at a ZL like these Trinity, it's probably pretty damn good right now.
And it's one of the reasons why I would say, I believe in I say a life that I believe in what we saw, even in a one game sample to say, okay, look at what we just saw. Look at what we're talking about in preseason. Look at what we expect out of this offense and the way they operate to say, okay, there's a lot of reasons why I probably should be in Isaiah likely even more so, then certain people are right now overreacting just to one game. But then you have the other cases of like Matthew Golden as a great example, he had 12 targets, right? Matthew Golden got 12 targets, led the entire team in targets, but guess what? He had zero targets in the first quarter, one target in the second quarter, two targets in the third quarter and another six targets in the fourth quarter. Most of his yards and targets and receptions were garbage yards, targets receptions because they were down so much. So you just have to make sure you're rooting your opinions, not just in what you thought you saw, but also some more data behind this, kind of how I approached Dynasty. And so if it's an early breakout or an early bust, a lot of times I just say, what's gonna happen next week? It's more so the players I don't have my rosters
to say, okay, is there something that could be an opportunity for me here? With this guy, a team or that guy's team where I can actually upgrade while still maintaining the core structure of my team. Yeah, so I pulled up for those watching, you could look at ddfantasyfootball.com. Here's the Trinity tracker. I pulled up the Giants, J asked, what is the Trinity? And you see Isaiah likely well above the trend line with his 27.2 fantasy points and he's above the green line, which is the above league average. So not only was he getting the fantasy points, but it translated, you know, he got the usage, but it translated in the fantasy points, right? And then you look at somebody like Malik Dei or Sue, I thought how to produce in game, back game one, Jay, would you say that was pretty? That's pretty good, give it expectations for sure. Pretty good, give an expectation. Just above the trend line, how to pretty good usage, not an elite usage, right? We look for guys that are above that yellow line, right, that elite usage piece for wide receivers as Ray would be looking for. So a good first week, I thought the Giants performed
probably about as perfect as you could get on offense, but it's very clear looking at this chart. I could see if we could go through each chart if we really had all the time in the world tonight. But I tweeted this out, it's neighbors and likely, Jay. And then everybody else is just kind of, they'll get their targets, they'll get the 40% that's not left over. But these two guys are going to clearly be, for me, I don't think it's an overreaction to think that neighbors and likely are going to probably be two top 12 options at their positions going forward, just based on where their usage is trending. Now, obviously, some weeks you're not going to get Isaiah likely in the ceiling, he's probably going to be, you know, closer to the trend line, but the point is, is the usage. And that's really what the, what the charity tracker is for is to find the people who have usage and opportunity to be able to translate into fantasy points. We'll ask you to sit, right? And that's where the Giants aren't interested in case, because going into the season, we said, well, we know we trust neighbors, we think we can trust Skataboo, things are looking pretty good for Dart. And then like, who's going to be that other guy?
And they brought in Isaiah likely and you're just like, okay, maybe it can be Isaiah likely. There's a lot of hype about Isaiah likely. And I think the Trinity is going to reflect that. And maybe now he's a little bit higher than Malik neighbors, but I think in reality, if neighbors was healthy, you'd probably see neighbors around that eight range, likely around that seven range, and then kind of we'll see how other things fill in. But the way they plan on operating, at least in that first game against Dallas, they're probably not going to need a whole lot else outside of a couple contributors here or there. You have Malachi fields, you have some of the other slot receivers that can contribute, and we know they're going to pass the running back so a lot. So that's going to kind of bring down the Trinity as well. They're going to pass Skataboo, they're going to pass the Singletary. They use both those guys in the receiving game yesterday, quite a bit, given that I bleed dark only through the ball, like 25 to 30 times. So with that, you're throwing five of those running backs, all of a sudden that pie is a lot smaller and the Trinity gets smaller as a result. So for me, it's like just making sure that when you're looking at a situation like that, to say, okay, you only need to focus on these guys. And at least for me as well,
the giants are surprisingly consolidated in the players you want versus the players you don't want. I don't think there's any reason to pay attention to any of the four players. Beyond the four players, we just mentioned in Dart, Skataboo, again, Singletary, you don't really need to talk about him a whole lot. He's just a depth running back. It's likely and his neighbors. And that's it. That's the list for the giants. And I don't think you need to pay attention to anything else. Yeah, you know, Parker Washington's him. Yeah, I mean, these are guys. I mean, we talked about Parker Washington all summer. You know, I pulled up, I'll pull back up his, his Trinity here. You know, he looks pretty good. Jay, like he's, I mean, consolidated behind him. And it's made, and it really only played for two and a half quarters, maybe three quarters backs before we really kind of saw. But I mean, it's the same thing, you know, this is what the tracker could tell sometimes show you is the usage, right? It's the usage. We're looking for the opportunity. And then from there, the fantasy point either will come or they won't come. Like, and that's how they go either above or below the trend line. So yeah, I mean, Parker Washington, what were your thoughts on?
Let's talk about the Jaguar's offense because it was one of those offenses where yes, we know it was the, the Browns and the Browns are, you know, what they are. But Jacksonville went out there and handled business pretty early. Yeah, they certainly, no, they certainly did. They, everyone expects them to blow out the Browns and they did just that. The game was over felt like by the second quarter. I mean, by the time the mirror of duel came in, I was like, okay, if a mirror duel is in this game already and it's a second quarter, it's probably over on both sides, not just in terms of what the Jags thought of the game, but the Browns as well. I mean, the Jags offense is annoying, I'd say to some extent. Like if you own Bretton Stranger, like, okay, he's pretty good for a tight end. He could be at top 12 option at weeks. You don't feel great about him, but you like the offense, right? Then you have obviously Parker Washington, the lead guy, the only one that everyone's really going to chase. But behind him, like whether it's BTJ, Jacoby Myers, there's just not a whole lot where you say, I want these players outside of Brian Thomas, but the way he's produced, it's a lot more difficult to say I should believe
in this guy along term. I should be buying him. The reality is he's shown us you probably should be selling him. And then when he has a good game, you probably definitely should be selling him and less things drastically change. But the fact that you at least see the Parker Washington breakout clearly, a bit more like it's just good to see so early in the year. But my question to you, Brandon is like, what are you doing with the running backs? Tudon got a ton of carries, but Chris Rodriguez was still the goal line back. And that for me is the hardest problem to answer is like, I didn't really believe in Tudon that much as the lead guy. And I believe Rodriguez would have a role. It looks like he has that role. And so now it's kind of like confirming my priors about Tudon, even though I think he's a good player, I just don't think he's going to be usable for fantasy. Yeah, I mean, let me see this. I kind of see Tudon and the way Tudon and Chris Radar, the exact same way I kind of see Seattle. Right where it's Jadarian price and it's for right now, it's Hulani, but it'll probably be Zack Sharba day in the, you know, once he becomes healthy, like between the 20s, Tudon's probably going to tote the rock quite a bit.
And if you got him in a PPC league, you probably feel great. But if you're not in any of those people, you don't play in anything with it with points per carry, you're probably sitting there thinking man, that was a pretty pedestrian outing. And they, they could have just easily turned around and handed it off to him 25, 30 times, right? Like Jermior Gibbs yesterday, like they could have just done that and they didn't. And so that's a bit concerning to me. If I have to now, do I punt and just sell them for anybody? No, I don't think that's the, I don't think that's the takeaway of the play. I think the play is more, you know, can I get to, can I run? What do I got to do? What do I got to add Jay to get from two into Deandre Swift? The Swift look good yesterday. I mean, like he looked good. A second's not getting it done. Is it? No, I don't know. I don't think so. I don't think so either. I think it's going to probably take like a one to pick swap or, uh, I don't want to send a first on top of two and that's for darn sure. Like I don't want to do that. So then I got to go lower than Swift. So then where do I go? Do I go to what's the difference between, what can I, what's the gap between two and a
bucky? Cause Bucky look good too. Bucky looked fresh. A second might be more applicable for Bucky. Like I might be able to get to it in a second for Bucky. It point being is I don't want to necessarily panic on to it. But I also need to recognize it's pretty clear they got roles, right? It's pretty clear. There's clear roles. And when you start to see clarity in those roles, you know, it's the same thing we did last year, right? Where it was like we did it. We want, we had it. We had etch end and we had and we had to, right? And it was like, oh, we want to take over. But he's going to have a role and etch end had a role and they were fine. And they could coexist. But our people are going to have the same patience with it being two and, and see Rod. I just don't think that I think over the course season, I don't think that's going to be an answer. Well, I think the problem with that comparison though is that the reason why HN was so good was because he caught passes, which Tuton didn't do a whole lot of. And he was the goal lineback. Tuton isn't really going to catch passes and he's not the goal lineback.
So he's kind of just like this guy who will get just 70 yards of game. But if he doesn't score, he's not great for fantasy. And so it's difficult with a player like that because you want the opposite. You want the C rod who gets you 10 yards on like four carries is never hurt. But he can give you two touchdowns randomly in a game that the Jags just dominate. But that's a lot more useful than Tuton's 80 yards. You're praying he breaks off a big one in scores because you know if they get to the red zone, they're not going to give them the ball. Yeah. So it's a difficult situation. I mean, it's one that for me, I'm still monitoring to kind of see like came Brian Thomas kind of separate. As like my main takeaway and the things I'll be looking for. Because strange is kind of locked into what he is in his role. I don't have a lot of interest in the running back room, but maybe things will shake out there. It's really just how does BTJ look and can he be valuable because he's still got some value. But it definitely continued to go down if again, Parker Washington can just to emerge and other players
start to take shape within the offense as well. Yeah. Every game day you show up for your team. Now it's your time. Sashpain for paypiling NMLS 910457. Our friend friend, uh, friend of the program Jackson tribe asked, will the browns make the Steelers players valuable? Let's talk about the browns because it's it was hard, man. It was hard like to watch that game and to watch them perform. And it's like a lot of people were in on Casey. A lot of people wanted to be a lot of people. I mean, we pumped we pumped fan and right, these top tier two. Yeah, take take the tier down from Tramik bride into fan and a first. And it's at it's like, we're looking back with one game and again, try not to overreact.
But, but being realistic and saying, all right, what do we do with? What do we do with the browns? Because at some point, Shudder is coming. It's inevitable. Yeah, at some point, Shudder will start football games. So my take with the browns is what if they're not as bad as they showed up this week? Like like Brandon asked you today, what would you say the chances of that being are? I would say if they're this bad, this level bad, I would say it's probably like a 10% outcome. Yeah, like they got to be like they have to be better than what they showed. And for me, it's more about the defensive side offensively look, man. I don't know what the hell I'm getting from this browns offense. I really don't. So all your case, you can set yourself down, Denzel Boston's RIP, your Quinchon, Judkins. I'm right there with you. I love Quinchon, Judkins and he is probably not doing a whole lot.
But I think the other thing is that defensively, this is still a very good team. And they just played against a Jaguar. So he met a lot of people really like it. I think it's very creative offensively and it's very versatile and has multiple players in ways that can attack you. So it was like, maybe this team is just a bad team, sure, but they're not as bad as they showed against the Jaguars. Then you factor in them playing the Steelers, like one of the least creative offences, not a very fast offense, not a dynamic offense. They just place against the Falcons defense that really shouldn't be that good this season. And they still only put 20 points on them. And really they didn't because one of those or seven of those were a pick six from TJ Watt. So it's like, maybe they'll look good. Like maybe DK Metcalf can break a big play, but is that going to raise DK Metcalf's value? No, because everyone knows he can do it. He just doesn't do it consistently enough. So again, maybe the running backs, but like Brandon, like even in your opinion, is there anything that you could see a player do
against the Browns that would really push their value a lot because all those players are old and aren't overly valued anyways. The only way I could see it being where it's like, oh, they're, they're super about their much more valuables is actually if there's an injury. Right? Because if there's an injury and then it consolidates the off, like Pat Fryer, Muth was already tied in 50 something before the season. He was tied in six on the week. Yeah. Anybody paid the scored, right? But is anybody, but is anybody paying more than what they would have paid for Fryer, Muth this week? Like no, because it's like, oh, well, he scored. He's probably not going to do that again. Right? Same thing with the, like the running backs. You know, I saw a question earlier. You know, would you, are we treated Jalen Warren for a 28 second? Oh, 28 second. Start nine, one quarterbacks. Like, yeah, Jalen Warren is part of this conversation, right? Like Jalen Warren, go gets three touchdowns. He wore the first the next day. No, like probably not. Like what someone sell him for a first, like they probably would.
Like they probably sell him right away. So that's where I understand the idea of just like, well, Steelers players gain again, value. I just don't think they have any players that can really do that. The one surprise, I think would be pitman. I think pitman could gain some value. But again, it would have to be a huge game from him. And like, especially when you only had three targets in the opener versus like 10 that went to DK, I just don't know if we're going to see a rebalance quite like that so fast. Yeah, like I, I guess what I'm thinking in my head is if they were to do better, would it just open the window of what people, how people would view them, right? Like, I think I'm pulling up the vibes chart here. We got the vibes chart. It's over on DD fantasy football. So it kind of pulls together a lot of different things to give you kind of an idea of where the vibes are, right? Like people are kind of up on pitman. People are up on DK. People are kind of up on Jalen Har on Jalen Warren. They're not as high on Rico. Look, there's Pat. Pat looks better.
But it's like, if, if we were to see a two or three touchdown game, how does the vibes, like the vibes might be better. So it maybe provides some exit liquidity. Maybe I guess maybe that's the takeaway from it. Like I like Matt. Yes, I would take the 28 second right now for Jalen Warren in a start nine. I had if you don't need them, if you're not starting him, just take the, take the 28 pick and move on, right? But like I'm looking at the, the Steelers offense skill players right here in the vibes chart. And it's kind of all over the place. And I think if you were to get a good performance against the Browns, I don't think it necessarily says, oh, we got it better. I think it's just we got exit liquidity because people are like, oh, well, you know, they're going to play, you know how sometimes we can see matchups coming along the right line, right? Like I was talking before we jumped in like the giants, the giants, next five games are, there's a game against the commanders, a game against the Titans, a game against the Saints, a game against the Cardinals. And there's one game against the Rams. Like there's an opportunity where like there's, there's just very winnable games,
which means you're going to have positives, game scripts, which means you're going to get points. And you can maybe get out if you don't like these guys. And I think that's where you can consign times, look at these fringy guys. You know, there's, it's not just Tim. It's, there's so many other on the Steelers or it's just like, if you get exit liquidity, that's, that's 80 V, right? That's, that's what Ray talks about is the 80 V and just, right? I'm trying to move it is the guy, right? He scores two touchdowns against the Browns. He's actually valuable, right? Super valuable, but he's actually valuable. People will be trading him. They're like, if three touchdowns in two weeks, I need that tight end on my team right now. Yes. And I think that's the takeaway, right? Is looking at from week one, who are the guys that scored at your probably like, or even produce well, right? Like Khalifa Raymond, right? Kendrick born. If these guys continue it for another week, they're going to become more, they're not going to become more valuable. They're just going to become something that people want because they were, they weren't anything. And if you can move on from them and pivot to something that you think is more stable, by all means go do it. Like don't, don't sit here and say, Hey, what do you think I should trade this
Kendrick born or 27th third? Like you know the answer. Just go do it. Come back and tell me you did it for 27th third. And I'll be like, well done. Good job. So that's, I think that's really the take from it all. It's just not overreacting to performances. You know, yes, it's nice to see Jaylen Coker ball out. It's cool to see Isaiah Lakeley ball out. It's cool to see for each one of those guys. It's just like, all right, I've seen Eddie Royal before, right? Those, those who know know exactly what I'm talking about when I say Eddie Royal, right? Like it's just there. There's so many of those guys that just, you know, Isaiah likely, you know, how many times he's had over 70 yards, not in week one. Jay. No idea. Zero. He's had two games in his career with 70 plus receiving yards, both in week one. So yeah, he might be an early starter, right? But then you guys were talking about Jamar chase, right? Because let's go on the flip side, like not hitting the panic button on a guy like Jamar, knowing historically week one for him has been just just nothing.
It's like he just woke up out of bed and it's like, oh, yeah, I guess I should play in this football game today. I'll go get my game check. And then he wakes up, you know, later on in the season. So it's just not hitting the panic meter on, on guys like, on guys like him, on guys like pits. Like yeah, I think I saw the Trinity chart for land. I'm going to try to let me go see if I can follow up because it is right. We did it out. It's got to be the most, it's, it's, it might be the worst one I've ever seen. And I've seen years like it's just like holy smokes. It's terrible. It's terrible. Yeah, it's, it's so so bad because Bigeon had like, I think you had like 55% of the targets. Yeah, it's just like, yeah. So those of you who are watching this on YouTube, like Trinity charts aren't supposed to be like, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to know that this is bad. Like this is just, it's so bad. Like I don't even know what the takeaway, the takeaway is just just throw it in the trash can.
Because it's not mean, can you? Because the takeaway is if you, if Cooper Rush plays another game, what are you, who are you starting? You starting Drake London next week? You can't. I don't think you can. Who do they have next week? They got Caroline this week. Can you start them against Carolina? Oh, yeah, they have Carolina. Yeah, Ray and I did talk about that. You do this. Let's see Caroline. All right, here we go. You want to get, you want to get ugly, right? Cooper Rush, Cooper, surely Cooper Rush can put up 250 on the Carolina fantasy. All right, let's say, let's say Cooper Rush is, let's have some overreact. Let's have a little bit of fun here. Cooper Rush starts next week. You, are you starting Drake London? Oh my God. Or, or let's, let's get it. Let's go halfway down. You start in Drake London or Mike Evans? Like Evans. Okay. You start. I don't even know who the Niners have. Mike, I don't even know who the Niners have. Are you starting? Are you starting Mac Holland's over Drake London?
Look, man, Mac was pretty good. I'm just saying it. Well, look, Mac was pretty good. Do you say what you want about Mac? Mac was pretty good. Mac was pretty good. Mac was doing this thing out there. You back some key conversions from Mac Holland's Mac. And if wrote me a, no, Dubs, it's no good. Mac Holland is going to have some value. Let me tell you. Yeah. Yeah. I'm just, yeah. Right. Yeah. Probably Drake London. All right. He's starting Drake London or let's go Don Tavian Wix. Dude. Don Tavian Wix looked pretty good. Look pretty good. Thank you. They looked that bad. Right. I don't know if he has the, I'll take London. Okay. We'll take one. All right. Terrell said he start Holland's too. He'd start Mac Daddy too. So listen, he gets it, man. Mac Holland's dog. Thing is, is Drake London giving me four for 50? I don't, that's the thing is I don't know. No, let me see if I can pull up the show. Let me see if I can pull up the, let me see if the week two projections are in. Let me know. No, they wouldn't be in yet. They wouldn't be in yet.
They probably won't be. So make sure you tune into the projections because we're going to have those, they'll have those ready Thursday or Friday Thursday or Friday. Thursday or Friday. Make sure you tell. Yeah. Probably just because of the game Thursday. But yeah, like the real time after Thursday night would be like probably Friday. And there'll be another update. Here we go. From small Wang gang. Dude, anybody on a team expected to get three targets and starting over London. That's the threshold is three. So you, so I'm going to go out on the limit, say small Wang gang, you're starting Darnell Mooney over over Drake London against the Rams. I mean, I just say it like it. I don't care. I'm a foreigner, Drake London. Oh gosh. Oh man. Wolf. We're car down the way or Drake London. I don't know. All right. All right. All right. Laundale Robinson or Taitla. Can I get Laundale at least? I mean, what might get like four or five receptions?
So you never know. Yeah. That's true. They did get some garbage time receptions. Let's talk about though, the tank for 2027 because there was some bad as there was some really good teams, but there were also some pretty rough teams, Jay. Like there's some bad teams. There's some bad teams out there. And we know that there's some bad teams for like, yeah, we talked about the Browns being bad, but I don't even think they were like the worst team that we saw on the lot of close, not even close. So like there's some pretty bad teams. Let's talk about, let's talk about a few of them. And is there anything that is fantasy worthy? Because I'm always, because here's the thing is I'm always of the belief bad teams can still score fantasy points. For sure. Because there has to be yards on the field, right? They're not like, yes, the Titans are the Titans were awful. We can agree the tight. The Browns, the Browns were pretty bad, but even Denzel Boston scored fantasy points. Yeah. Right? Like, okay. Like I mean, we were we were looking at the Sean Watson somehow had like 14 fantasy points. I don't know how I don't know what lead is like.
I think if you were like 200 yards. Yeah. And 50, but it was only one. Yeah, only one pick, right? Like, and the ground. So so bad teams can still score fantasy points. But are there players, right? And I'm thinking Titans, I'm looking at the dolphins because they were pretty, they were pretty horrendous offensively. I don't know. I don't think you probably watched too much of the Vegas Miami game, but there was some, there's going to be some teams that are just going to be bad all season long. That by the end of the season, we're just going to be. Yeah, not surprised that that team is in the top four draft picks, but they have players, right? That are scoring fantasy points. Like even last year, the Giants were bad, but Jackson Dart, Jackson Dart was still scoring fantasy points. Scataboo was still scoring fantasy points. Gentie was still scoring fantasy points for the Raiders, even though they were the number one pick. Like, there are just going to be bad teams, right? We just know this is there. What is your philosophy when it comes to looking at those bad teams and saying, okay, is there any fantasy viability?
And it's so is there guys that maybe you want to target? So a lot of that for me comes in the preseason, right? It's starting to figure out who are the good teams, who are the bad teams? Where are my fantasy blind spots, right? The Chargers is a perfect blind spot. Everyone thought they'd be so good. Last year, they definitely had moments they were really good, but there were also moments where like, is this offense really that good? Is it really just the offensive line that's the issue? Like Herbert's obviously great when he plays well. But outside of La Mcconkey, there was just a lot of hope with Trey Harris and Quentin Johnston and Aronde Gadson and Omar and Hampton got injured. Like, just a lot of things that we weren't really sure exactly how it's going to shake out. With bad teams, it's, it's really just what are these teams going to do on a consistent basis? How bad is their offensive line? Because in the case of the Browns, their offensive line is so bad they can't play offense at all, right? So that's why like later on in the process for me, it was, okay, I really like Quentin
John, Juddkins. But look, if this is your number one offensive line and they're, you know, losing to twos and the threes in the preseason, they're probably not very good, right? So that's where for me, Juddkins became a bit of a fade, even though I really like the player. It's just there's not going to be a whole lot of viability here for success. So that's where it really depends on the player. Because Carnal Tade is a perfect example where he still has value, like for some reason, there's people that are just like, Oh, yeah, everything will go around just one game, blah, blah, whatever. But in some ways, we've seen so much poor play from Cam Ward, you're like, well, he's there really like that much going to get better is there really going to be that much better for fantasy purposes, especially because the number one player for me on that team would be Tony Pollard because he's the running back. And he's really the only running back you want to own, because Tossy Spears, isn't overly involved. But more so, it's how effective is Wandel Robinson, because Wandel Robinson knows the
offense. Wandel Robinson has been effective in this offense. Wandel Robinson is already beloved by Debal, who's calling the place. Like that's me as the player that probably should be a lot better for fantasy. If Cam Ward is like decent and it just seems like losing games a lot, and there's a lot of quick passing because of the rush, like I feel like there's a lot of ways to get Wandel Robinson, one of ways to get Wandel Robinson, a lot of points in the ball a lot. But if he's not even good, why am I believing in anything in an offense that can't operate to where they can put up the amount of yards that are required to be successful for fantasy football, right? Like that's where I'm fine with Miami. I think Miami's going to have games that'll put up yards. Willis can do things. He's still through for over 200 yards. Like they'll be fine. They have HN. He had a bad game, but I think he'll more than make up for it in the ways that B. John made up for himself. Basically, like he got all of his value. So these offense are going to exist, but like Atlanta's another one where in the preseason, you say, okay, they have all the places. They have all these players, but they have a big unknown and quarterback.
How good is their quarterback? Could it be? And a lot of people brushed it off because it's like, oh, well, you know, these players are so good. Bejones so good. And I get it with bejones. He is that good. But Drake, London, Kyle Pits, etc. Where it's just like, if the quarterbacks no good, how are they going to be good and return on that? Right. So that's where for me, it's really just how bad is the offense looking? Do you think it can turn around? Because in the case of Tennessee, I don't believe it's going to turn around. I just don't. And they may have a good game, but for the most part, like if you can't even have to access against team like the Jets, you got a long way to go. So if you're waiting on the players from those offenses, you're going to be waiting a long time. You're going to be waiting a long time for Shadoor Sanders. You're going to be waiting a long time for Casey Kencep, Shion. You're going to be waiting a long time for some of these players. And I think it's easy to tell today who are the teams that are going to be bad, but have respectable offenses versus the teams that you're watching. You're like, look, they may play in the NFL, but they are not in the same league as the
rest of these teams. So even the Jets are another property example. Like you know who you want. You want Garrett Wilson. You want Breeze Hall. You don't care for anyone else unless you're taking on a Braille in Allen as a handcuff option or a depth running back, whatever. If you want to take a flyer on some of the rookies and Omar Cooper or Kenyans to Deek, but you shouldn't expect anything out of these other players. So I feel like the clarity is there. It's more so in the offense is that people believe in that actually aren't as good as people thought they would be versus trying to identify the bad teams that may not have any fantasy value because most of them will have a little bit. And then of course, there's the Tennessee Titans. Every game day you show up for your team. Now it's your time. Ask your prescriber about Wigovie, some Maglatide injection 2.4 milligrams, a G.O.P. 1. Call 1-8-3-3-4 Wigovie or visit Wigovie.com to view the Medication Guide and to learn
more about Wigovie. Why wait? That's where you stay. Hilton, for this day.
That's going to be an interesting team to watch because they're just, they're going to struggle. They just are like they struggled against the Eagles didn't look good on offense. Offense. The defense is good though. The defense is really good, but the offense like the Philly offense wasn't, it was kind of disjointed at times. And it still score 20 and they still score 24 points against that defense. So it's like, are the commanders going to be something that's viable or they're just going to be like, you know, it's going to be a lot of garbage time, you know? Definitely a work in progress. They're not going to be playing Philly every week, right? So that's going to help. But yeah, they're, they look like a work in progress that is missing their starting left tackle. Like that's what they look like. Yeah. I mean, and Jay didn't had to do a lot in that game for them to even be in it all. I mean, the Saints are going to be a fun one to watch, right? They're not necessarily a bad team, but like that first half, our group chat was duck wolf. Get shut off. Like just it's time to, it's time to move on from them. And then he comes back out at half time and it's like he drank the Michael Jordan, like
magic juice from space jam and he turned into, you know, he took it from Jordan love. Yeah, that's what he took it from. He just snatched it from them because that like if you put those two together for one game, it was like 500 yards, but it's just, I think bad teams can score fantasy points. And I think ultimately at the end of the day, like as we get closer to the, you know, it's week one. And then when the first team starts to shout themselves out, like, yeah, the Cardinals look good. Like they looked good week one, but like, are they going to continue to look good when they go play Seattle when they play LA when they play San Francisco six times, you know, across the season, probably not like are the chargers as good as our are the chargers as bad as they were last. I don't we don't know. Maybe now maybe and they just lost potentially lost lad because you know, hospital ball, right? So it's like he got smoked. He got smoked and he's questionable with a rimbenzary. Like there's, there's just going to be some, there's going to be some interesting teams where I think if you believe in the offense as Jay rich said, there are some pieces like I'm interested in Caleb Douglas. I'm interested. I'm not saying I'm like full blown, got a hammer.
But I'm, but like it's someone who makes them for like a third. Somebody may be out willing to get out because they're just like I can't believe that he's going to get, you know, six catches again. It's going to eventually be the Chris Bell show. H&S going to get more catches. Well, each and already had four. Technically had five, but a penalty called one back. Like he had five catches. He had all the rush. Like I don't, I think the dolphins are fine. I'd be investing in dolphins if I could. Yeah. I really would. There's the cost is so low outside of H&S. Yeah. I agree. It's so low. If there's, you know, piece on the waiver wire you're intrigued by or just like making a small trade here or there. All in on just investing in them. Just to see what, what they could be. Now I'm looking at their schedule, Jay, the Miami dolphins down the stretch coming in into the playoffs, fantasy playoffs, week 14 Chicago Bears. Well, it doesn't matter for our home. Yeah, it doesn't matter. They're just going to speak. Week 16, Green Bay. Oh, God.
Week, no, sorry. That was week 15, week 16, Chargers, week 17 bills. Like there's some, there's some defenses there that are. Gross games, though. Some gross games, but it'll be, it'll all be in the snow. It Chargers game. It must be at home, right? Yeah. No, it's on the road. It's, no, no, it's home game. It is a home game. It was on the right. Yeah. It's pretty sure about that. I just think like for, for me, when I look at teams, when I'm starting to look at like playoff schedules and where I can guide, get guys sheep, like I'm cool with it and, you know, Douglas Caleb Douglas there because you look at the teams that we just talked about. The Bears just gave up 31 points to the, to the Panthers. They're probably going to be a pretty rough defense at times, right? Green Bay, Green Bay definitely was, it could got, got exposed at times. The bills were in a shootout with Houston because nobody likes the Houston offense, but they looked good yesterday and it's, I just think there's probably some spaces where we're probably missing in terms of just blind spots because we're like, that's just going to be a Chan. But somebody's got to score fantasy points. And I think that's just the biggest, the biggest takeaway, maybe for me in, in the tanking
teams. It's just, look through the schedule. You've got time. Everybody can look at the schedule and we have it up on DDS, on DDCVandiceFootball.com where you can take a look at the strengths of schedules and you can kind of see, all right, hey, this team is this, this team is going to have to face this. Like, there's some, there's some fantasy match like, you know, I kind of want to get some bills. Josh Allen and that team look like they're going to literally just be in shooting. You know, they play this week? They got the old shirtlines on Thursday night football. In the opener of the new stadium. In the opener in the new stadium. That game could be crazy. If I don't know if this is, I don't know if this line has been updated yet by Lee, but he has the over under on the website at 53. Yeah. I mean, it's probably probably, it's probably right. But those teams are awful. I defense. Like the Lions defense, they just, I don't know what they did in that second half, but they were not playing defense at all. Prevent. They were preventing themselves to win the football game. That's all I can say.
But you know, down the stretch, the bills have week 14, green Bay, week 15 Chicago, week 16 on the road against Denver. So that's a little bit tough, but it is a rematch. But if you can somehow survive what your Josh Allen shares, the week 17, you get them at in Miami week 17, like that is just smash city. So if he plays, I mean week 17, I think we also has a yes is streak anyway. So he's going to he'll start every game. Yeah. So. All right, Jay, let's talk about before we get out of here. Let's answer some questions. There's a couple that are in there. There's a couple, there's a couple statements that we could talk about and then we'll talk about really quickly tonight's game. What you think about tonight's game. Look, well, we'll start with Sacramento, Kingpin. He needs a bone, bone next next stinker tonight. I mean, you'll probably get it. You'll probably get it. I mean, I think the projections, I think Ray had his projection at like QB 20. So I think you'll be all right. I think you low. Hey man, my home is like, I'm not expecting my home. I'm just going to do much of anything, but we'll see maybe he'll surprise me. Nick Miller out here.
Coker is wide receiver one. Okay. So that's what some say that some say they've, I think there was a stat that he outscored Mcmillan. Mm hmm. Six of their last seven games. Yeah, something like that. I think he's got even his reception totals high. It's ridiculous. Yeah. Love them. We find if Williams becomes an accurate quarterback week one. They didn't have to throw the ball. They ran it all. I mean, I don't know about that one, chief. I don't know. I'm not going to be an accurate quarterback. You didn't even throw the love of them at all. So accuracy wasn't the problem. Yeah, maybe he's got to find them first, but they'll still run a lot though. They're they're going to not I wouldn't I guess they are run first team, but they're run. I mean, they did have 291 rushing yards, which was far and far away. Number one and 65 or from Caleb. Yes. Yeah, that's crazy. Two 100 yard rushers. You know, fun fact, we were looking at before we jump into this next comment. You know, we were looking at that speaking of the Saints Detroit game. The Saints had two top 12 vibe receivers on the week in Valey and. Oh, the Valey make it. Yeah, Valey made it.
And then not only not only that, they had two top 12 Titans because Noah fans garbage time. That's crazy. That's crazy. That's crazy. Chuck and Etch and was top was RB 15. He dragged five fantasy players to relevance this week. Like that was nuts. I don't think well, I don't think well, I don't think we'll see that at all the rest of the season. Fantasy players in the top 15 of their position, like absolutely nuts. Yeah, I mean, that's, but that's what fought 400 and 410, 410 passing yards. Crazy. Maddie boy says he needs to Sean in there for as long as possible for his browns to win the least wins ticket. Listen, I don't think it's, I think you'll be fine with the Sean. You think, sir? Yeah, I think at the end, I think I think the browns are better than, than they showed. I mean, I would say their defense is actually decent, but. They did play real bad this year. Yeah, I mean, I would say, well, what's the line? What's the line that he got? Probably four and a half at least. Yeah, probably four and a half.
No, but at least wins though. So it's. It's. God to get the least wins. Oh, good. A lot of it's on the win. I don't think it's going to matter because Titans are just awful. I don't even know how they get. I'm looking at that. Let me go look at their schedule right now. Titans are bad. Titans have the Eagles, Giants, Ravens, Texans, Colts. Oh, it's going to come down. There we go. Week six. No, we have to say already lost. They already lost this game though. Yeah, this is a hinge game for them. No, week seven though, they get Cleveland. It's Tennessee and Cleveland. They're not beating Cleveland at home. They're not beating Cleveland. Are you kidding? You think this team can beat Cleveland? That's a good defense. That's true. But that'll have to swing. When I when I did the schedule, I had the Titans going two and 15. Which two? I don't know. I don't know. I don't have any more, but I had to win two and 15. I mean, maybe they were the worst. Every other team got three wins. Maybe because I hate the Colts. My gosh, they have a 0.624 strength to schedule.
That's got to be top five. That's got to be top five. That is. Oh my gosh. Good luck. Yeah. And you can't play any Browns until a QB change is made. I mean, sure. I don't know if it'll make a difference though. Because the problem is that you still you want to know who each QB prefers. It's not. Yeah. Okay. Starting Sardor is one thing. Absolutely. Sardor gets in there. But things are going to change who he likes to throw to is going to change. Who does he have chemistry with is going to change? And so that's the other thing with it is that Watson. Sure. It looks like he has no chemistry with anybody. But he still practices with them all the time and they practice all stuff. Getting Sardor in there is going to change. And who gets the ball when they get it? How successful is the offense? All of that is it is very difficult because doing that mid season if it's like week eight. You're like, okay, I was enjoying my two points a week from Denzel Boston. But now Shadours and in the essence from the ball.
Yeah. Something to consider quarterback changes are not always good. Trade Ted in the second for Drake London. I like Drake London. But I don't seem so bad. I don't mind that. I mean, it's fine. I don't mind it. Like I don't mind either. Like I'm like, I could take you to I want to I want Pennix. Do I want to do I want rush? I want none of them. I want arch. Yeah. I guess if they get arch if they get arch, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Let's talk. No need to arch is Indy. Yeah. Good thing they have their 2027 first all way. They don't they don't they don't. And then shit. So let's talk about tonight. What do you got tonight? What we get out of here? I have Broncos. I have Broncos 16 13 and give me the under. Yeah. I like the under too. You know, I saw a line for Cyrus Allen and nine and a half and I've never I've never seen a line that needs to be hammered under ever in my life.
Because is he going to see the field? You don't think he's going to get a shot? Listen, if Obie Jay had a line, there's no way that Cyrus Islands getting on the module. I'm Blue Jeff Head. I had a lot. Лbj freezing pasti Josh Hino the stuff. Mostly. The cleanup is cutting ever. People with hands. I really love Mike and Bowie JYP was also starting it all inside your heel and are taking Laughs. Oft Yahne's going to be sitting in the ass. What does he do? Ryan mimicking this isrique's sellingCapge. Heセ先生 goes there. Tyrone says going like Brcesso according the number bringt to liberate your team. I want to winplate So Xiao in their muscle. So你有 a key in this strike because I just need to beat Break down your double the morale and your team. Have a look. 45 or so. No, I think it'll be like seven for, you know, seven for like six, like 55, 60. Like I think he's going to have a lot of, I just don't think he's going to get a lot of yak. And that's what that's what he feasts on, right? It's not, it's not Kenny catch a football. It's Kenny could do what can he do after? And I just don't think he gets a lot of that. But okay. Okay. Jay, it's been fun. It's been real, man. What's you up to this week? Other than, you obviously had wake up this morning. You guys have wake up again on Friday morning,
