Bedtime looks like he's worse for wear. I wish I could say the word life like he says it. He's the greatest in the world. Bedtime brother, you there fresh out of the bird bath. Bedtime. Yo, what up boys? How you doing? Good to see you. Hey, bud. Good to see you too. So I'm mad. Good to hear you. Yeah, I don't know. Joe, I can't see you either, man. I'm too drunk to have one camera.
Yeah, he is. He's just like the weird spot right now in his life. I'm rolling off like three hours of sleep, bro. I thought of chucking on the sun. The lawn didn't come through, goddamn it. I thought the sunglasses on, fuck it. No, man, I don't rock them like you guys, man. I don't know. I feel like I look fucking weird here. I don't think you do. You got a good head for it. Huh? All right, boys and girls. Here we go. Another show, another day, another dollar. Got myself a peach raspberry smoothie from the job house. And we got Joe Diesel rigs joining us. Reaking of vodka. We have bedtime MMA joining us. And we're in for a real treat this show, ladies and gentlemen. Let's get that pasta up. Grab a refreshment of your choice. Let's get serious. Lots to talk about this week. Here we go. Bed time. Good morning. Good morning, man. How you guys doing? Doing good.
Now you said you didn't sleep well last night. Now why was that? Too much surfing? Dude, my girl took up about 75% of the bed, bro. I was like pushed in the corner on some Ian Gary shit. I could barely fucking. Move him off, man. I'm like resorted to one corner, bro. So I almost chucked on the sun. He's but I'm awake, man. I'm ready. Okay. Do you ever give her a shell, bond to her side? Or you know what I used to do? I really thought about a spinning elbow, like a roll over, you know, back elbow. But a lot of times when that would happen to me, I'd put a pillow in the center of the bed and say, Hey, you don't cross this line. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I just did a couple like, you know, groans, like just a couple like, like hoping she'd fucking, you know, get the hint. So I think I'll use the pillow next time. I mean, does she not know that you're on a TV show in front of millions in the morning? I try and tell her I'm like, dude, I'm talking to the legend Joe rigs. I'm talking to Tim Welch in the morning, you know, come on. Scoot your ass over it. There's a quote that reminds me of it says,
a man would rather live in a corner of a house by himself than a Carlson wife. Yes. That reminds that brings me to that, that, that, that, that's a, that's a, it's a nice saying to live by. Yes. Thank you for that. Thank you for that. Yes. Okay. Well, we had, we had a great weekend here. We had a great weekend and man, it was exciting and it was fun. It was one of the, one of my students said, I've known you for like seven, eight years. And I've never seen you as excited as you were for that gable fight. I'm like, well, it was, it was what was at stakes. It was what was at stakes that made me so happy. Now Sean Sheriff knocks out gable Stevenson cold. I didn't get a see your reaction to it, but boy, that was brutal. Jumping for joy, man. I feel like I've never seen a fight where every single person had the exact same reaction where we're all celebrating. We're all like jumping up and down like, it's just so crazy because it's not just the fact that he got knocked out. It's the fact that it happened in fucking 10 seconds. Dude, and he throws this jabby, he backs out his eyes are closed.
He went stiff like there's so many elements to it that just made it hilarious and sane, bro. Yeah, it really isn't safe. And it's insane kind of like it just came on. It seemed like this fight for real. It came on the hate and then bringing up previous allegations. And I don't think dangable expected that expected it because before the fights before, it's like you're the biggest prospect ever. You're with John Jones. You're one of the greatest wrestlers ever alive. But now everyone was bringing up this. And Joe, you're more on his side, isn't that correct? Well, I've had a chance to dig a dig and deep to the accusations. No, I'm not on his side. Oh, really? Yeah, yeah. It appears to be correct. Oh, God. He was doing some seal-grapin. Well, God, and that's years go, right? He used an object if I'm not mistaken. Like utensil? Yeah, I think a rolling pin might have been used. Oh, God. I don't mean that's not my soul rolling pin.
God. A pin. Jesus. Joe rigs the modern day Sherlock Holmes on case. Yeah. Yeah, he'll find out. He'll find out. Yeah, so I mean, I'm just so curious because like I was telling one of my old wrestling coaches, he was in here today. It's like guys are so, they have this level of confidence when they haven't lost, when they haven't been knocked out, when they haven't been in the octagon in her, it's this weird scary level of confidence that makes someone so dangerous. But when you know you can get touched on the chin like that and fucking slept and then you wake up to all these tweets, all this hate, all these memes, it changes you. And some of my gable students could get a wrestling coach, well, I don't know if he could with the allegations. But I mean, he could get money easy. He's one of the best wrestlers ever. He didn't have to do this. I don't think he had to do this and I don't think he has to do it again. So I'm just so curious if he decides to come back, what do you think? Oh, yeah, I don't know. It's I could honestly see him not coming back just because not only did he lose,
but also I mean, everyone just jumped on him right after as well. And obviously all these allegations and stuff came back up fight week. Like you said, I don't feel like it was really there last time. I don't know if it was because McGregor was on the card or what, but they didn't really pay that much attention to him. But this one was everybody. So I think I wouldn't be shocked if he didn't come back, but at the same time, I feel like he kind of ran out of things to do because he did like, you know, wrestling WWE NFL kind of pitted out of all of those. Now he's here in the UFC. He still has a lot of potential. I mean, I know it's kind of fun to like bag on the guy right now, but I still feel like he has a lot of potential with his wrestling and his athleticism. But God damn, bro, that knockout was so bad. Like that. Oh, man. I think though you don't get to that level that he's at the most elite level wrestling by just being a quitter. No, he couldn't face himself restless. Restless lives. He didn't. If he quit and came back and he ended on that, yeah, I would be very surprised. I agree. I do think he comes back and does that. But what the one thing that was just made it look so bad is that he left the cage
before their decision was announced. I'm like, bro, that made you look so fucking bad. Dude, that's so much like worse than getting knocked out. Like that makes me dislike you more than whatever. You know what I mean? Like that, you know, we've all been there, bro. You don't want to fucking stay there after you lose, but you have to. Like it's just part of the game. And I don't know if it was like John Jones. I think he said it was his decision, but I thought that was fucking gay. Yeah, I just bro, you just got to stand there and just take it like a man, bro. That's that's part of losing. So yeah, I feel like that didn't give him any fans either. Walking out like smiling as if you're chilling. Yeah, and John, John knows the hate too. I mean, John knows that I don't think John would have would have. I shouldn't have back like that. Yeah, but what it says, okay, John Bones, John says, I've seen some reports online. And I really want to clear the air. It was my decision to take Gabel straight to the back after the fight. Honestly, it was my first time in this situation for me. And my instant reaction was get my friend back to make sure he was okay. Gabel's work ethic and will to win is there. And I stand by him and believe he will go to one of the, to be one of the best heavyweights in the UFC.
He will be back. I'm sure of it. And yeah, the level he got to, how elite he is. And this thing, it's not like this has never happened before. It's Islam got slept. Who else got slept early in their career? Was it a bigger surprise or was this the biggest one you think? The biggest upset. This was the biggest upset. Was this the biggest upset ever in the like official UFC? I think so. Yeah. Yeah. Because the guy four was 0 and 2 in the UFC. Everyone's high from this guy up like. Yeah, it's, and I think I think he had a massive upset when he fought in wrestling as well. When he competed against white Hendrickson. Like I think that's right. That's right. That was a big upset. That was a big upset. But still like white Hendrickson's like a little strong. He good. Yeah, sure. Sure. You're off. Like you're supposed to win that fight. It was kind of set up for him. And I think that's why it was so crazy to everybody. Again, I can't get over the fact that this happened in like 10 seconds too. Oh, like that makes it so much even crazier. But God, it just makes you no matter if anytime there's odds like that. I wonder how much like the sports books got rinsed. Anytime there's odds like that.
And it's heavy weights or two or five hours on the car with Florence Club. It's like, you might as well sprinkle a little something. That'd be fun to see him. It's actually lost. That would be cool. But that's it with those heavy weights, man. There was no settling in for Jonathan in his hair. He knew he was gone immediately. But that was a quick, how's a quick fight? Yeah, that was brutal. I still, still, even before the fight, I'm just like, I can't stop thinking about Gable Stevenson and Josh Hoke. Josh Hoke gets announced for the heavyweight title. We'll talk for that a bit. But it's like, damn it. Now you got to do some build and you got to, now you're going to have to dig deep. And really it fucked people's minds up. Hell yeah. Especially the first time in a long time and you get slept, you don't even, you don't even feel it. You end up waking up in the back lock room like, what the fuck happened? Joe, you've had that before. Yeah, absolutely. You've gotten KO'd and haven't woken up until the back lock room and tell the story about the Matt Hughes one. When Diego Sanchez won? Yes, Diego Sanchez. When I, once I had been knocked out where I woke up, I knew I'd lost because I was face down the dirt and while I was watching this painted Tony, I was walked by my face.
And then I woke up and then I don't remember anything because I gained contact when I took hot shower and then my wife at the time had to remind me I lost again. I'm like, you lie and bitch, don't you lie to me? Did you thought you were about to go fights? Yeah, yeah, I came out of the shower and I'm like, let's fucking go time. Fucking go time. And then they pump the brakes. I'm like, you want to say I lost before I even fucking fought? Then I called my brother and I'm like, at least the center of the city goes, it was a fluke. I'm like, no. So yeah, it can turn on. I've heard that for multiple people, they don't come to until they're back in the lock room and they're like, holy shit. And even in the chocolate L stream, he was telling neon, he's like getting knocked out is the most painless thing ever. You don't feel anything. No, you just come to at some point. Yeah. And then we live it. Oh, my God. Yeah, that's the way she goes. His eyes were closed for almost a second on the feet. Yeah. I can, I can, it's not even close to normal. It's like he never been like no one's, I mean, he's not getting, not getting a hard spot like that in the gym.
Yeah. It was, it was foreign to him. That was smart by Sean Sheriff because especially when you're when you're in a fight, you're like, okay, I got 15 minutes ahead to me. And I'm the way better fighter. I don't have to make something happen right away. So he's like, I'm going to go out there. I'm going to faint. I'm going to get some level changes. Maybe make him think I'm going to strike with him and then get a clean shot. But Sean Sheriff sprints at him. Yeah. He sprints at him, gets right in his grill and starts fainting and then just sits on some hard shots. I was a great game plan by him. I like that guy. Fuck. 600K in debt. Dude, yeah, right. Mm-hmm. So that was good. Any other thoughts on that bedtime? No, I just think one thing that people have pointed out about Gabel is the crafty eye perk while he's getting KO'd as well. You could definitely see the John Jones influence. Like you could see that he was trying to frame and yeah, move, move backwards with this chin up. I think Joan, like, Jones has like a lot of weapons, but I don't think his boxing defense was ever like, Jones is so crazy good at slipping punches. Like, Jones had a crazy chin and he was like massive. He had a huge reach. Like, I think Gabel should have fought a little bit more like DC if anything.
Maybe in the future and his next fight, he just blasted double legs the guy across the cage. But I think the defense you could see the way that he like froze up with his eyes closed. It kind of reminded me when Bonnickal lost to Renya Derritor and he said he never felt like knees to the body before. It just was like, bro, what's, that's how young this guy is in his career. So it's like a bad thing, but I also think it's like, well, shit, learn to good lesson on that one. Yeah, I also would not be surprised if he ended up coming back and being the champion. I wouldn't be surprised that way either. Just the pipe athlete he is and then you see him hit pads. Holy shit, this guy's a fucking freak. How big is he? How fast he is. He weighed in at 250. I could be wrong on that, but I think it was around there. Okay, so next up we had Van versus Pentasia. And I had no idea what to expect this fight. But before I'm like, God, I was going both ways, but then shugs like trust me to Joshua Van. Go watch his old fights. Watch how fucking good this little bastard is. And he is fucking good. Pentasia came out there with this spastic energy, like really spastic. I'm like, he is not going to be able to keep up with that pace. And Joshua Van's chilling in his boxing stance, pressuring him with a good rhythm,
being super efficient with his energy. And what do you think of the battle? Dude, it was sick. Like you could just see John, like you could just see Van had an answer for everything in the grappling. I think that's the most impressive part to me was like how he kept the unhook the entire time. Like he refused to give up his back. And you could see it almost like wigged out Pentasia. I feel like in that fourth round where you had all that control, he almost like didn't care about being in mount or being in half-guy. He wasn't trying to do any damage. He was trying to get to his back. And I think people thought in that tie-refight, like, oh, well Pentasia will post-drop. He'll do damage. But every time you post-drop on Van, he's already building and like putting butterflies in and getting up. He looked so good considering how young he is. He's like 24 years old. He's like a blue belt. Like he just he showed so many like abilities in the grappling that he shouldn't have already. But he does. And then on the feet, bro, the fucking body shots, like the counter left hook. I can't believe Pentasia survived. I thought he was going to get finished in that fifth round. Bro, that right hand, the left hook, the uppercuts. It's fucking nasty. Tough, toughle bird, toughle bird. But I tell you what, dude, Pentasia,
I mean, if you're a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu as long as Pentasia's been a black belt, and you're like, I'm going to fight this guy who's been doing not just Jiu-Jitsu for three years, four years. How long has he been training? He said not many years. Three, four years. And you're like, this guy's a blue belt. You're like, oh my god. I'm going to pass this guard. I'm going to mount him. And I'm going to force him to give up his back and I'm taking him out. I have, I mean, as a black belt when you're trained for years, you have so many different tricks in every single position. But Joshua Van is such an explosive, short little athletic ball. And it wasn't impressive to me when he got mounted. He did not panic. You get mounted, you get mounted and you're a blue belt. You're like, oh, I got to get out of here some way. You give up your back and then that's the end of the... But he was just calm when he got mounted. And he was so smart and tactical when it came to getting up. That Josh, I mean, Pentasia, Pentasia had to, that's all he could do is just pin him, lock his hands in the head in our position or under his armpit and pin him. If he poshed up to try and hurt him at all, Joshua Van was getting them off him. So Pentasia was doing the best he could. And I think, I think those corners, again, when you're a corner, you don't see that well.
You just see who's on top and Pentasia looked like he was dominating. But what do you think of that? If someone's in mount and I'm pinning this guy in mount and a bottom guy's maybe hit me, smacking my ears, doing a little bit of damage. Who do you think's winning that? I think the guy on top's winning. But I think there was enough in the rest of the fight, like on the feet where Joshua Van won. I don't know how that was 50-45. Like I clearly thought Pentasia won the first and he won the fourth. But I thought Van won 2-3 and five with the damage that he did. But yeah, I think Joshua Van kind of exposed in this fight that, you know, jujitsu positions, it's not really that meaningful unless you're doing damage. Like that's what it seems like with these judges nowadays, right? Like the fact that Pentasia is in mount, it's still a debatable round for them. That's pretty fucking crazy in my opinion. But that's the way it is. I mean, Pentasia did no damage. Like he was trying to get to his back. And I think if he got to his back, he would have finished Joshua Van. Like Van did such a good job to not let that happen because he could do a lot of things in other positions. But when someone's on your back, it's like, yeah.
Dude, I'm just thinking about it. I'm like, this, if this kid, if he can stay disciplined, stay disciplined and stay just hungry to get better, he very well could be the, I mean, the goat of flyweight. I mean, right now, right now, if you put Demetrius Mighty Mouse in his prime, versus Joshua Van, I think Mighty Mouse might still beat him. Yeah. Yeah. But in a couple of years, four or five years, I don't know, maybe not. I agree. Like, yeah, Mighty Mouse, I think Joshua Van not only does he have like, he's young, but he's super active. Like he's been fighting three or four times a year. So I think Manel Carp's going to be really dangerous. Like the power that he has, he has one drop K of power. But I think if he gets through Carp, I'd pick him to beat everybody else in this division. Like the grappling element is done now that you can't be like, well, this guy's going to take him down. If Pentasia can't do it, nobody can do it. Yeah, I agree. I agree. I think Manel Capes, the only thing that guy that's going to pose a problem for him, because those, those, I don't have any.
What is the country he's from? I'm sorry. Minhwala or something like that. But whatever it is, whatever it is, those Hawaiian type guys, they got those thick neymar. They got those thick necks, those big heads. They got good kids. He reminds me like a like a Mark Hunt style. It's like those guys are hard to knock out. They really are. So I mean, if Van ends up winning his next three title fights, how would he do at 135? That's tough, man, because it's like, Joe, I don't know who's going to be there. If he's going up in what two, three years, like, I don't think Marab will be there anymore. Jan is like 34 now, or maybe about to be 35. I mean, obviously the fight we all would love to see is Jan and Van at some point. I think that would be fucking insane. The boxing between those two, I would pick Jan. I think Jan is like bigger. Just a little bit more like well-rounded. I think he can mix and take downs, but not rely on wrestling to win.
Use kicks a little bit more, like a little bit more effectively than Pentasia. I just love that he was just going like cross hook body kick just four or five times in the pocket, like just again and again and again. But I think Jan be a little bit more sophisticated, but that'd be fucking sweet. Oh, yeah, like Pentasia was doing the cross hook to the open. Yeah, just again. Yeah, yeah. I don't know. I throw a 35. I think that's just he's just a perfect size 125. I've been around him. He's a clean 5'4. He's a clean a clean 5'4. And these long-rangey guys, these bigger, more durable guys, I think they'd give him problems. But again, in four years, you have no idea how good he could get. He could get fucking freakishly good. And he could thicken up too. He could get in some weight and natural over time. Hit a few steaks in him. Yes. Yes. I mean, what's another fight, Joshua Van at 135? Yeah, him versus Peter Yon will be crazy. Him versus the sugar show. Sugar's too long, too long, and Shog's got the speed that would be... Probably a nightmare fight for him.
Yeah. Yeah. And then other than that, like a Corey Sanhagen. Yeah, I don't know. I think he... What about Malauha Sanat? Flyweight? Marcus, I mean, fuck, Marcus. I'm not sure about that guy. Yeah. Is he good? I think he looks pretty good. I mean, he's like 10 and 0. I think he's on the MSG card, but I mean, that's down the track. I'm talking like a year and a half from now. He's got a really heavy kick game, like Southport moves around pretty well, like, can mix in the wrestling. If he's as good as he looks right now, and he gets into the top five, and flyweight's one of those weight classes where kind of like heavyweight, you win three or four fights, you're in the top five, so... Yeah. That could be something fun, but yeah, I mean, there's a lot of good matchups for Joshua Van. I just think Manel Kapp is like the worst one. I don't... I don't... I'm really scared he's gonna get chained, and we're all gonna like, oh, that would have been cool if he was like, you know, if he became the flyweight coach. I mean, I hope he beats... That's 100% what's next, right? Because the new meta rankings came out, and they got Pentasia below... Cop. Cape.
They're gonna Mally below Song Yodong too. What? Yeah, they do. Wow. Now, what is the AI rankings? Think about that. That's weird. Oh, well. Well, I mean, especially since Shugs got that win over old Peter too. Yeah. Which is weird. He's got a win over Peter. He's got a win over Yodongy. Literally this year, too. It's not like... Yeah, not like the Yon one a couple years ago. Literally this year. Yeah, right. That's a sixth reason. That's his last loss. Okay, boys and girls, this is Episodes Brought to you by Spade. I was so torn on this fight, but then after rewatching the Hoofy fights, I'm like, dude, there is a good chance Hoofy could win this fight. Who were you picking before this one? I had to almond, but I was real. I was saying, bro, I felt very like indecisive about it. I was pretty confident in Van over Pantheosia, but Rufy and Armin was kind of tripping me out. I just felt like, okay, we haven't seen Armin in such a long time, and Rufy's been active. The UFC's obviously put him here for a reason, and I was worried about that right hand, and you saw it land, and the eye of Armin Srukin was really, really bad. I don't know about you guys, but I thought, fuck, if this goes like another round or two, he might get stopped. Yeah. Because of that eye, like I could see it getting stopped in between rounds. I mean, Armin, dude, that motherfucker is just so elite. He's just very well could be the best lightweight on the planet. And I saw Ali Al-Badeez, the manager, he ended up coming out and saying, people are going to be pissed off on our plan for Justin next.
Once this gets announced, people are going to be pissed about it. So I'm like, I'm trying to think what that could be. What match is he going to take that is going to piss people off? He said, who fucking knows, dude, Ilya rematch. I don't know what it would be. It just sound, I don't know. He said Islam, they just fucking kill two divisions at once. Oh God. Fuck. Yeah, that'd be brutal. Yeah, but Armin Srukin comes out there, stays nice and composed, gets wobbled, falls into a double leg, recovers from it, and then just hits the sickest, in close elbow. And it wasn't like even a sideways elbow, it was like a boom over the top elbow, right on his cheek and just fucking crumpled hoofy. The neck them after that too. On the ground. On the on his way down here with another elbow. Yeah, like an inside kind of elbow. Yeah. It was nasty. And God, I wanted to see that go to a second round so bad, and him taking him out right at the end and just being hype, giving old Nina hug. Oh, jumping the fence, beland her all gone.
I love that. Yeah, yeah. Armin versus Gachi, what do you think that would look like? Fuck, I don't know. Now, I mean, I think a lot of us went into the Armin and Rufi fight. Like, well, if Rufi can stuff the takedowns, he's going to win. But he's stuffed the takedowns and then got knocked out. So I think with Gachi, Gachi has really good takedown defense. I feel like people always kind of underrate that. The grappling, if he ends up on bottom, I think Armin Srukin could sub in. But I mean, on the feet, we saw Armin Srukin wear a lot of damage from like, what, one punch from Rufi? I think it was like that, that's straight right. So I think Gachi could do really well. I would probably pick Gachi, but I think Armin Srukin is going to be like a tough fight for him. I think he's going to be a lot more chasing the grappling than Ilya was, which a lot of people felt like if Ilya really went to that, he could have got him out of there. So it's interesting, man. It's a good fight and dude, if Gachi fucking beats what? Ilya, Paddy and Armin and then retires. Go. Where do you put him? Yeah, I mean, you have to, you can't, I don't know where you put him, like light way all time,
because he lost to Kabir even Charles so easily, but he's like up there, maybe like a top three light way with those wins. I feel like that's not, that's not crazy. I think so too. And Gachi's another one of those guys. I mean, he gets put on his back. He got mounted pretty easy by Ilya Toporia. Like Ilya went to Half Guard, mounted in like real quick. But again, he's a division one wrestler. And I watch a lot of Trevor Whitman's vlogs and they're wrestling, they're having wrestling practices. And I know they had hammered the wrestling hard if they were going to fight Armin. I would probably pick Gachi too, now that I think about it. Really? He's been in so many of those five round wars. He knows that he's, I think he's way trickier to fight than he looks from the outside. His punches are so awkward and weird looking and they still have so much snap and pop to him. And Trevor Whitman's having doing all these weird, like weird drills. Max, although I did. But there's something, there's something to it. There really is. Yeah. Yeah, I think Gachi, I think Gachi with that, just everything he does is so weird.
Like you said, one thing I always see is like his jab. Like every time people pressure him, he like sticks his arm out. And then sometimes he turns it into like a proper jab. And I think one thing too is that front headlock that he always goes to. We just beach people up with those punches. You got that knee to the body on Ilya. I think he would do a lot of shit like that to Armin. Yeah. That's a good fight, man. Sitting in front of him. I'm hoping we see it. What would you think would be next for a hoofie? Fuck, he's going to have to take a jump down the rankings. I mean, he beat Michael Chandler. He took this fight on short notice. I would say like a Jalen Turner maybe or somebody like that maybe Quillen South killed. I think that'd be a sick fight. You know, one of those guys. Yeah, something like that would be cool. Yeah, that's not a bad idea. That's not a bad idea. God, it's sad. It's sad to see that. One thing I thought to with hoofie, I'm like after he got kind of outgrappled by Benoit. But he did a lot of good things in that Benoit match. When I thought back to it, I was like, he just got mulled, took him down and smoked. But he reversed him a few times.
He stuffed a bunch of his shots. And I'm sure he improved his wrestling and his grappling a ton since then. But now you suffer a KO. And you hear all these people talk about hoofie and just how fucking skilled the guy is. And a KO like that, again, it affects everybody so different. He looked great though. He was looking good. He was looking really, really good. He did. Okay, so the big card got announced. Hooket vs. Surl gone. I was fired up when I read that. I was fired up. What was your thoughts when you saw that? Dude, it's a fucking dope, man. I mean, obviously, you know, we're all sad about Aspenal not getting to fight gone and having to vacate the belt. But yeah, I like Hooket vs. Hooket vs. Gone. I think it's just you couldn't get two more opposite people if you fucking tried like you've got zero guns like this super athlete like yeah like UFC gives him five million title shots. Josh Hooket you know Dana White is like deploying everything possible so this guy doesn't get the belt. So I think it's a great matchup like the beef is going to be good.
The matchup is very interesting as well. I do think guns going to be the fuck out of them to be fair. Do you really you think he's just going to attack on? I just think he's too big. He's too good. And he cuts like I'm curious what's gone walks around that out of camp. It could be 280 with abs. Bulbas abs. Bulbas out there. They're large. I don't I think Hooket's going to get done so you think hookets. I mean, Hooket's going to come forward the same way he did be moving his head all like in ways kind of like Daniel Kormier. Yeah, he's going to have to dump him early on and they're you know they're going to come out there and try to put him on his back early on. Within the first two minutes, I think Hooket's going to take a nice shot because the longer you stand there with that big bastard. Yes. It's going to be created. But then five rounds. I remember if he if he takes gone down twice in the first round and makes his ass work to get up and then he takes him down twice in the second round. Makes his ass work to get up. Oh, yeah. The whole fight changes.
Those punches don't come too fast to that point. So if you if someone gave you 10k to bet, you're betting it on gone. I'd probably bet it on gone. I'd have to see the odds. That's another big thing for me, man. Is like I feel like the odds really make me feel one way or the other like the the gable fight you kind of you're like, come on. I got to throw some money on this guy. Even the two evasify. I don't know if we're going to talk about that, but bro, I was tempted to kind of pick two evas because I thought he's not that much worse than just spain. But I think gone like he's he's obviously been working on the grappling this entire time. Like he knows that's his weakness. I know he got taken down by Volkov, but he did have a lot of submission attempts in that fight. And I think the the size difference between these guys just cannot be understated. Like it is like a 205 versus a heavyweight and the best heavyweight besides Tom Aspinol. So I think gone's going to move a lot. I think he's going to cut angles where Hoked can't just like walk forward into him. I think he's going to really like beat up his legs. I can see him like clinging up with Hoked as well and like neighing into the body. He does that really well. I feel like he is I feel like Hoked is very similar to DC.
I could see him getting hurt to the body, but like I also could see what you guys are saying of him just taking down gone. And listen, I would love to see that. I don't like zero. I would love to see Hoked beat the fuck out of him, but I am picking gone. I think it's just crazy because literally it was August 19th, 2025 that Hoked made his debut on the contender series. And now he's fighting for the heavyweight world title. Get there quick. Now, what do you think he would have got this shot if he didn't talk the way he talked? Hell no. Zero percent. Yeah, right? I mean, I wouldn't think so at all. If he was just a humble guy, the humble guys giving respect to the opponents, not making these conferences about him, he'd probably have to win three more. Yeah, for sure. I mean, nobody would want to see him lose as much as people do right now. You know, I mean, it's, yeah, 100%. I love it so much. I love listening to that crap talk. Yeah, I'm surprised because Dana was saying, I wonder if Dana was in the talks with Hunter and these guys about like,
hey, should he be next for the title because Dana came out and said he hates everything he says. He hates everything about everything else. He has to. Yeah. You know, I mean, do you really think that Dana doesn't want him to be the champion that time? No, I know, I know exactly what you mean. Like he would be a headache. It's same as Strickland, but it would also be like super big, like entertainment wise and money wise and all that stuff. Yeah, and I don't think Hoka would be where he is without the trash dog. I also think that he got that blade fight because they were like, well, nothing's going on. Here's this fucking guy. Let's see him fight those blades. Yeah, I think so too. And then the call main event on that got announced Kayla Harrison versus Amanda Nunez. Oh. Yeah, what do we think? What is the excitement? I mean, I don't care. I'm excited. I'm excited to watch it. I'm excited to watch it. I'm excited to watch it. I mean, not like, whoa, it's like that pumped, but I'm excited to watch it. And I'm curious to see who people pick who you got.

Oh, you got Joe. I'm a lot. Kale Harrison. Okay. Do you got bedtime? I'm feeling new, Nez, bro. I don't know why. I'm feeling like new Nez, but I have a GSP comeback. I don't know. Maybe I'm just wishful thinking like this fight ends in like a crazy KO. And it's, I think it's over quick and we can get to the gun hook. I'm just getting PTSD from last year, man, where Valentina Shepchenko, fucking late in half-guard for 25 minutes.
And then, you know, Islamokshep did it to my boy JDM. You know what I mean? I'm just wishful thinking here. Let's get a Kale in the coma. Yeah. Not to interrupt that fight because I know it's a big one for you guys, but gone versus Hoke it right now. The odds are gone is minus 280 and Hoke it's plus 230. Hmm. I mean, God damn it. What does that say to you bedtime? You sprinkle a few on Hoke it. Like, so that's like reasonable, but also like just enough where I'm like, okay, Hoke it could win this, but I still lean gone. I do, I do think gone wins. Yeah. I mean, God, you're talking me into it a little bit. Fuck. I was rewatching a gone versus Pereira. He kind of beat the fuck out of Pereira. Like, what? That's not saying, right? It's kind of crazy. Yeah. Well, Pereira, I mean, we were around him quite a bit for this No-J card, and he looked a good 30-pound smaller than he was for that White House fight. That White House fight, it looked like he put on so much unneeded weight, and it looked like in there. He was just so much sluggish and he was sluggish and he was way slower than he usually is.
So, I think if they do rematch, I think Pereira will go in there more his natural weight, where he's fast and snappy, because yeah, that was, he was way smaller. It was wild to see. So, then we got Chow Borjolio versus Yusri Belgeruille. Nice. I don't know, that's a sick fight. And we got Yoros Medic versus Kevin Holland, another sweet one. So, the whole card's pretty darn sweet. Chris Duncan versus Drew Dober, and that's that. That's that. Now, we had Big Tie-2 of Assa. I was on, I thought it was a great fight. Nick thought it was a snooze fest, it was boring. I thought it was generation over. I thought it was a fucking great fight. I was like, I'm with you. Tie-2 of Assa was going after it. He was in there to win. His one chance was to try to get in close, slip these punches and throw fucking hooks, and he was trying. That was a maximum effort. Tie-2 of Assa, that had been the best shape he's ever been in. Yeah, yeah, very, very round still, but still best shape I've ever seen him in.
Man, the only thing that I will say is it was so depressing as a tie-2 of Assa fan watching him get taken down by the hands down the worst grappler I've ever seen in my life. Rebellious dismay. Fuck. Wipped out of fucking Islamokshave, like judo trip. Man. I know. Yeah, I know. I wanted to see Tie-2 of Assa get it done so bad, but dude, fighting that rebellious dismay, it's easy to be like, oh, he's such a shitty grappler, but it's like, well, he's 6'7". He's 6'7 and he's athletic as fuck. So you just think it's easy to take down someone like that. It's just, I don't think it is. And Tie-2 of Assa was missing a few of those hooks, but about, he was missing quite at four or five, maybe six inches, but some of those hooks were to put him down. I do think I wish Tie-2 of Assa would have maybe threw a couple more straights to his body. And try to stick him to his gut a few more times before he comes up top, because he was just completely headhunt. Yeah. I feel like if dismay wasn't so tall, some of them would have landed pretty flushed as well.
And I also feel like he didn't really go through the legs. I feel like Tie-2 of Assa was really good leg kicks, but he wasn't really like trying to blast him at all. And JDS, even though he got slimed out by dismay, and he did land some nice leg kicks. Yeah. Yeah, I feel like the bodywork wasn't really there, but that's all of Tie-2 of Assa's. I've been there for his last two fights in person. I have so many videos on my phone where I started filming because I thought he was about to knock the guy out. And he gets taken down. So yeah, I'm rooting for Tie-Man. Yeah. So now, I think he's an eight fight losing streak. I wonder where he goes from here. I wonder if he actually calls it good. There's no way someone like that just calls it good though. He's going to go do like a dirty boxing. Yeah. Tie-2 of Assa and Baronuckel would be pretty fun to skate. Is there any way he gets another shot in UFC? I don't think so. Give him the record number nine. Because they're paying him decent money. What are they paying him? I think I don't remember the earnings came out, but I don't remember what it was. Michael Venom Page gets the cut. Gets the boot. What do you think of that? Oh, man. I think like I understand why, you know, but it is just funny when the guy's like six and one.
And then the next week we've got two of Assa. Willie reached eight losses in a row. Willie do it. You know, that's pretty fucking crazy. But I mean, I get it, bro. MVP. I'm not losing sleep over MVP, you know, leaving the UFC. I don't. It was very weird matchmaking. You didn't get any big names. All the fights were boring as fuck. So, yeah, from a competitive standpoint, I think you kind of have to draw the line of like, well, we do want the best guys in the UFC. We're not just picking who's the most entertaining, but also, you know, well, all his fights were really boring. I don't think we're missing out on much. You know what I mean? It's a tough line to well. I don't know where you guys stand, but yeah, it's. Well, you're the UFC and you're like, okay, I'm going to scratch this guy a $400,000 check for 15 minutes of him springing on the outside. Maybe guys not committing. You're like, it's to them. It's probably not worth it. And he was saying that the UFC wanted to give him a pay cut, and he just wasn't accepting that so they did so they didn't. Did he say how much of a pay cut? I don't know. It could have been, who knows. It could have been 50 grand.
I had to slip real slow when I do that though. What? Take a pay cut. What do you do, though? I mean, with him, he's going to have other opportunities, I feel like. Yeah. He's going to have opportunities with MVP. And MVP is going to get, try to get their hands on any guy that's known, and they'll probably pay him good money. I think more than the UFC with paying him. I don't know. That's a good question. Hard to say. Yeah, I don't know. Do you think he should have taken the pay cut? God, it's just so hard to say. Again, it's so hard to say. If I was his coach, would I recommend that? He's getting up there in age, right? I think he's 38 years old. Yeah. 38 years old. And if it wasn't such a huge pay cut, I'd be like, dude, yeah, do it. Let's go knock out the next two people, and they'll renegotiate with you. Yeah. You stay in there. You for sure have a job. But again, hard to say. Okay, boys and girls, the substitute brought to you by Waking Up app. Now the Waking Up app, I've been on this app for years and years.
Back when I broke my jaw and my face was wired shut, I was like, holy cow, I don't know if I can do this. So I was forced to learn how to just meditate and follow your breath and be in the present moment. And this app changed my life. I talk, I tell all my fighters to use it. I tell anybody who competes to use it. And if you just want to improve your life in general, the Waking app, it teaches you how to meditate. It has a free introductory course that you guys can try out and you guys will really enjoy. It's made by a neuroscientist, Sam Harris, so he really understands the mind and it teaches you. And you're not going to feel it after the first three, four days. But do this for a month straight and you'll start noticing when thoughts come into your mind, you can decide how you react to them. And so just react into them right away and just reacting to however you feel and however your emotions are at the moment. Actually when you're competing, when you're competing, it brings you in the present moment. The crowd's there, there's pressure on you. You're thinking about all the different things that could happen.
You're thinking about winning. But if you can focus on some of the techniques that this Waking Up app teaches you, it's a real superpower. So check it out. Lincoln Bile, that's the Waking Up app back to the program. The UFC comes out with just a huge announcement and they say Saturday, October 3rd, a fight that everyone wants to see. Main event of the world. Silver, no wait, the silver gal, Natalia Silver versus Wang Kong. Main event. Now, wonder what Wang Kong, why didn't they come out with a BMF? I don't know, man. Yeah. I mean, this is a bad ass fight though. I mean, guys, we are all excited about this, right? That's why we're in disbelief is that we get to watch this with our own two eyes, right? Watch it be a good fight too. And Natalia Silver, I tell you what, she's a beautiful gal. You see?
Yes, curly hair. Curly hair, cute gal, Wang Kong. But then again, a main event of a numbered card. I wonder if like Hunter and then we're sitting down there like that's the one. That's the one to make right there. But then you look at the whole division, they're like, God, we have, they have plans for everyone else. That would have been the time to just do a, do a BMF, I would think. Yeah. Damn it. Like a Charles Diego Lopez fight instead of this. But the thing that pisses me off about this card is that the rest of it is just like, they didn't even try. They're like, all right, well, everyone's going to be pissed about this main event. Let's give them a patent-tell but co-main and nothing else. Yeah. And we're like, I don't, the commission, it's not like the commissions are like, hey, if it's a numbered event, it has to be five. I mean, it has to be for the world title or we're not doing the commission in it. It's like, make it a three round fight. It's not the commission? No. Really? The fuck is the whole thing? That needs to be a title fight for the, yeah, for the, I always thought. Yeah, it's not. But again, we got Davidson figurato versus patent-tell bit and patent-tell, it's a big favorite.
He's a minus 650 favorite. Dave's figurato is a plus 475. This isn't, I think this is a more even fight than they think. Yeah. You think? I think just the output of figurato is so low at this point. I feel like all of his fights, he's going out there just kind of standing around menacingly. You know what I mean? Like, he's very dangerous. I think it's tough because I look at him kind of like Cheeto where he has all these skills. He has power, he has a decent chin, good grappling. But is he actually going to do anything or is he just going to just kind of get peace up at rank? You know what I mean? I think he could win it if he mixes in the wrestling. He saw Patentalbit lose to Barcellos, but I don't know. I think Patent's probably just going to piece him up to be honest. Yeah, you're probably right. You're probably right. Yeah, damn it. But again, Dave's in figurato, he does hit hard. He does hit hard and he is a motherfucker. If he gets on top of you, you're going to be in trouble. Good, good Jiu-Jitsu. But again, after that patent-tell bit fight in Barcellos, I'm sure Patentalbit was like,
all right, I got to get serious on the ground here. After a fight, we got Big King Green back at it versus Estabin, Reevaach, ReevaVitch. Sick fight. I think it's a sick fight. Yeah, that is a dope fight. Just not the fucking third biggest fight on a paper view. You know what I mean? That's a great opener, like a pre-Lin fight. But yeah, that is a good matchup. I think King Green wins. I don't know about you guys. I think he's going that shit. Really? I mean, you saw Estabon come out versus who did he just come out and just like, piece him up bad. Bobo is a man. Oh, yeah. Barbosa. He just got after it. He's a young buck, got after it. And the Estabon guy, he's so good at punching and hiding those kicks. And that's what makes me a little bit nervous because King Green, he loves to just slip and dodge with that head low. Take those fucking legs, you know what I mean? Um, that'll be good. Chaos Williams. I mean, that guy's an exciting fighter. The Roman Coppillow, a T-book get to year. I mean, I don't think the fights, they're not going to be.
I think they're going to be good. I think they're going to be exciting. We got Marcus McGee, Bernardo Supage. I'm curious, Tim, though, like, why don't you think these rank fighters are fighting right now? I feel like there's not like any ranked fighters on pay per views anymore, except for Abu Dhabi. Yeah. I don't know. Like, are they dealing with injuries or what are they dealing with here? Yeah, that's a good, that's a good question. We got half a Aldo San Jo's former champion coming back against Alexander Hernandez. One was the last time Half-Ailed Los Angeles fought. We look at that, Nick. Half-Ailed Los Angeles was the mother fucking man before it was it and it could have been, could have been it was just his time, but it was before you saw that. Shut down. When he was just crumpling people and he just had this unlimited gas tank. Um, do you remember you used to get a lot of allegations about that, but I think his last fight was Jeff Neill. I think he fought Jeff Neill and he got injured. October, 2024. He's 41 now. Yeah. So, October, 2024 and what was his last fight?
Jeff Neill, you're right. It was Jeff Neill, Gamrott, Vicente, Luke K. That was all losses. Damn. Yeah. Vicente, okay. So, Jeff Neill was at 170. I had a been at 170. So now he's going back down. That's another exciting fight. Marvin Vittori is back in action. Quart McGee is still at it. How old's Quart? Yeah. Is he 41, 42? 44? Oh my God. No, 41, 41. What was he, he's, holy shit. Holy shit. He's barely living. God. What he for is crazy, bro. That's fucking wild. That's getting up there. Treesio Pitbull. What's he 41 looking, looking to spray, is ever? Sure. But Treesio Pitbull moves into number 14. Just pieces up, do Hootoy and put some down with fucking. He looks good. Yeah. Tim loves that. Tim loves and Pitbull gets loose. Yeah. I mean, he's just, he's just good. Okay. Fan question here.
Who you got in BKFC this weekend? Darren Till or Romero? That's a pick. That's our top one to choose. Oh. I just, I feel like Till is going to light him up, but YoL is such a fucking freak. He might grab a hold of him, start up or cut him with a collar tie and it's a whole different thing. Yeah, sure. Dude, YoL Romero is just so durable, bro. Like, even if he just stands there getting pieced up, he's like, I can't see him getting cut. I can't see him looking beat up. That's actually really tricky. I could see Romero like losing that entire fight, then he cares. Me too. What's Romero? Clean 46? Yeah, he's fucking up there. Shit. He is up there. Bro, and just still looks like a young, spry buck. How old is he? How old is he? Has he 46 or something? He's 49. I'm clean. I'm clean. I'm clean. I'm clean. Dude, even beating 49, you're, what the fuck are you doing? What are you even doing here? We're talking half a century old here. God dang. 49? What? What the fuck's going on?
Dude, what are they? Fucking ridiculous. 49 years old. Yeah, what was he raised on just like organic spam? God, dude. Who was me, bro? I wasn't expecting that. Yeah, 49. I think he was made in one of those like Cuban labs during the fucking Cold War. I don't know what's going on there. Dude, after hearing that, I'm like, you gotta pick Darren Till. Yeah. Yeah. He's got to be getting... 49, that's talking real. That's what. That's real as it gets. What? This is real with his age. Bro, that's real as it gets, man. But Darren Till, it's not like they have like a usada program and stuff for BKFC. Darren Till's probably making some good money. Last you saw him, he looked just absolutely just fucking crazy. I'm trying to say he's on the diet, man. A young, a young, long South Pa with big old Pa's on him. Bear Knuckle is so hard to say, though. Because how many times has Darren Till fought Bear Knuckle? I think three times or two times. He was getting his last fight.
I forget the guy he fought. He was another English guy. He was getting... It was in the first round. The guy was looking good, but he had a pole too. And it looked really good. Darren Till did. Oh, did he? Oh, yeah, and then put him down. Yeah. That's right. And then he cracked... Well, that was a boxing match when he put down Luke Rock Hold, wasn't it? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Dude, I don't know. Dude. She went to hang with her Australian or some shit. Yeah. We'll cook up something in the lab, dude. So, C-S-A-C executive director Andy Foster wants to ban Obliqkix to the knee under the unified rules or M-Meg going forward.
Foster raised the idea during a commission, did you brief following UFC 331 last night? We all know Ian Gary, injured, shoved, rock, and macafe, but Obliqkix can be extremely dangerous in general and even potentially end a fighter's career. I wonder what he thinks about an elbow to the orbital force that almost hits the brains. Seriously. Or a knee to the forehead that almost caves in the face and hits the brain. Or what he thinks about an arm bar, an arm bar where you snap their arm. Yeah. Like that. That is, that's very stupid. Your goal in there is to go in there and damage this guy's fucking joints and his ligaments and hurt him. Taking away the Obliqkix, that is so dumb. That's stupid. Yeah. That's not going to affect your career long time as well. It's not like just, or what if I injure my knee? Yes. What if you get your brain damaged?
Has that guy ever fought and let's make these decisions? What's that guy's name again? His name is Andy Foster. He's been around for a long time. Well, that's fucking, that's terrible. Yeah. So please don't, don't, please don't take care of the Obliqkix, especially for strikers. That's such an important weapon. When you, a long range weapon, when you can stomp someone's front leg, it makes them, it prevents them from coming forward. They hyper extend their knee if they're trying to jab you. And it's just such a good weapon for the long-lanky guys. So I, I really hope they don't get rid of that. Because who was complaining about that this weekend? So, or no, Shibazian. Shibazian. Yeah. I'm like, okay, stop my knee. He's saying, he, yeah, what the fuck are you gonna do? Yeah, I don't know if that was a brain fart or, or what that was. It definitely could have been. Cheeto Vera comes back for, for, for loss and wrong. Like, dude, there's just, I was telling Shibazian, I'm like, I feel like Cheeto could win. He's like, bro, Cheeto, I ain't winning. I'm like, I can see why he thinks that. Cause Charles Jordan, he, he beats Kyler Matrix, who Kyler's a fucking absolute stud.
Takes on Cheeto. Cheeto completely changes training camps. He fights the whole fight South Pa and gets after it. It gets after it. There's moments where he took a risk. He got after it. He stayed in the clinch. He started open up in the first round. And I mean, you gotta give him props to that because those guys, you're on a four fight skid. You're the star. You were at, you fought for the title at one point. You're battling some serious demons when you're walking into that arena. Thinking every single thing you do fight week, every, every way, like this could be my last time doing any of this. That's a good point. And you're fighting a tough guy. But then he pieces him up, TKOs him. I was happy to see that. What do you think of that, buddhan? Having uncontrolled eels in a philic esophageitis or EOE can mean you're stuck in many ways, like cutting your food into tiny pieces. You know what that is? Then, what is that? CFANDool.com for eligibility. Gambling problem called 1-800-Gamber. Yeah dude, I thought I was sick. I mean dude. Cheeto Verra is like one of those like frustrating guys to watch that you're like, oh he could win this one but then he doesn't, then he doesn't. And then this one, I felt the exact same way. I was like man, I could see him winning this but I just, I'm not confident to pick him but yeah, he looked really good. I saw this meme of kind of like, you know, Cheeto Verra and people realizing that if they throw punches they're actually good at fighting. You know what I mean? You saw both of them kind of do the same thing of just going from just switching stances at range, like actually going for it. And Cheeto Verra especially, I mean this guy has the craziest fucking chin I've ever seen. I don't know why it would always be so like hesitant to exchange because in this fight he just looked fucking, he looked amazing. Yeah, yeah, he really did. He really did. That was great. Um, some nudie magazines? No, this is a magazine. What's on the table? This is a magazine here.
This is a magazine here. I heard about this story. My dad told me about this story a long time ago and I didn't realize it was in a magazine and it was talked about but I'll read it to you. Hopefully it doesn't bore you but it'll be good. It's interesting. It's about a grizzly damn near killing him. Really? A grizzly bear. Okay, they drew a permit to kill a moose like one of the hardest permits to draw kill a moose in Yellowstone. So following the bow hunters directions, Welch and his buddies found the meadow after finding a comfortable overlook where they could glass all the one small area of the meadow the way it began. For the next four to five hours each of the trio privately thought about investigating the area they couldn't see but dismissed the idea with dusk approaching, and facing a long hike out, even young encouraged Welch to check out the hidden meadow bottom before they left to ensure that they wouldn't miss the bowl if he appeared. While Welch was gone, even young remained on the overlook so up on the mountain, keeping an eye on him. Welch still hunted down the Timbered Hillside into the small basin but found no sign of a bowl.
At one spot he could see even young on the hill above him. He threw his hands in the air indicating he hadn't found the bowl. Starting back up the hill, Welch noticed movement 75 yards ahead of him in the Timber. I couldn't see the butt of an animal rock. I could see a butt of an animal rocking back and forth Welch record, recalled. I found a spot where I could see through the trees and I realized that it was a bear standing on all fours. He was looking at me over an elk carcass. I stood there for a second and he turned and took off. I thought he was leaving. Turning and looking up hill Welch could see his partners watching him. I raised my arms made like a bear. He said later both friends said they couldn't see the bear but they could tell something was wrong. They both said they could see fear on my face. Welch said, examining his options. Welch said he stood there for a couple of seconds trying to figure out what to do. I looked back up where the bear was trying to see what was happening. He wasn't there. I thought he'd left the area.
There was only one tree near me. I got eight or nine steps and I was holding my rifle down with the safety on. From behind me I heard what sounded like a boulder rolling down the hill. I turned and the bear was coming out of the trees on all fours, barreling down at me. He covered 40 to 45 yards and two snaps of a finger. With the bear rushing toward him Welch tried to release the safety of his Seiko 30-06 and panic of the moment was moving it the wrong way. Realizing what he was doing, Welch released the safety in his words. I put the scope on his chest and shot him as he came at me full bore. The bear dropped and rolled at the impact of the 180-degree nozzler partition bullet. I stood there to see what was going to happen when my knees started like knocking Welch said. I looked up at my friends on the hill and waved them down. They could see me but couldn't see the bear because it was in the trees. When they got there they asked what I'd shot. Welch said his response. I shot a damn bear that was going to get me. It was only when Welch examined the bear that he realized it was a grizzly.
Immediately the three men left the area and walked four hours to the road. At 10.30pm they got to the phone and tried to call the fish and wildlife in game. Department no answer. They called the Galaton County Sheriff. A sheriff's offer met them and they gave them their statement. The next day the fish wildlife and parks conversate, conservation officer. Met the men and investigated the killing. The bear was a 15-year-old male. The incident was turned over to the county's prosecutor's office who refused to prosecute. I feel I did the right thing Welch said and I'm in one piece. I know in my own mind he was going to hurt me. I only had two or three seconds to figure out the whole thing out. I'm really thankful it wasn't one of my friends that had gone down there because they didn't have a firearm. When I went down the hill I walked within 20 yards of where the bear was and didn't see him. If one of those guys had gone down there it had happened to them. It would have been a real tragedy. That's pretty much what happened. He killed the bear within 25 yards of him sprinting at him. No shit.
These grizzlies you shoot them in the forehead they'll ricochet off. So it hit him right here in the collarbone. Boom! And it just boom. He never got trouble right in front of him. No. Damn that would be fucking scary. But that could have been very easily the article where my dad died. Holy shit. How was it? How was it that happened? I was, this was 1995. That's fucking insane dude. What the fuck? Right. Like, and my dad's like such an ice cold guy like and he's such a hunter. He's very good with his longbow. He's killed so many things with his longbow. So for him to pull it up and put it in the right spot while that thing's running at him, you have one shot. Did the only one tell him when bought? Well, I mean, it's 20 yards from now. You can't jack another shell on that thing before it gets you. No, it's both taxing down for sure. Holy how wild is that bro? That's insane. And then that thing just tumbles and bubbles and they has pictures of the paws and the grizzlies paws are like huge and those grizzlies when they murder people, they fucking tear their faces off. They eat them from the butt, butt down and especially when...
Eat their ass down. Yeah, especially when they're around their food. So it looked up at him, stood up on all fours and it had a dead elk. So it's like, I'm going to kill you like holy shit bro. So that's a crazy story. How big it was 15 feet? What? Or 15 years old. 15 years old. He has pictures of the bear taking pictures with it and it's a big grizzly fucking bear day. That's the first sitting right here in front of your rigs. No. This is the fur of a bison. Straight from the mountains here. Okay, so that's kind of a crazy story. All right, we got a couple of call-ins here. Need some advice and we'll give it to you. I tell you that much. Yo, it's good, Timbo. Joe Riggs. Bedtime. All right, I'm going to get straight to the point. Let me ask you guys, you know, you know, we're all men here. So my question is like, you know, with the pubes, what are we doing guys? It's like, when we pull out in front of women and we're trying to go bald, like completely
naked. You know, we're all men. We have hair. But, you know, too much hair is just no, you know what I mean? I like to trim it up, but I'm like, what do you guys think about that? I'm like, I'm really against that full-naked shit, you know what I mean? For men. For women, obviously, yes. But what do you guys think? I think you guys. I mean, that's a great question. I can see bedtime having a big old 70s bush, but I tell you what, that kid's on to something. I want to see a bill bald ant eater hanging down. That's not going to get a lot of fucking shit. That's good, bro. It goes like a hairless cat. Now, you know, you get to do you, if you shave that thing bald, you'll look fucking, you look like a sphinx fucking cop there. But then, but you do, you got to, you got to, if you got a cactus cock like myself, you got to shave up to the four skins and don't do it. Do you really? I mean, that whole thing's fucking, oh yeah. It's just a whole hairy cat. That's a cactus cock. Oh yeah. Oh my god. Fuck you. Yeah.
I mean, that, that, when you bend through what D's has been through that day. So I think a crooked, just hairy cock. Ew. Fucking ew, dude. Okay. Fuck you, dude. No, what's he, no, what's he, I say trim it up. I got a hot dog thrown before. Just trim it up. Trim it up. Trim it up. Make sure you're trimmed up too. Just trim it up nicely where you're confident with it. And don't have a big old red bush when you get depanced in front of the whole fucking cheerleading team like me. Oh, fuck, it's too good. That was before, that was in junior year and I didn't have no buzzer. I wasn't familiar with the buzzer. And I had full bush and all these girls in front of me, they're, they're kneeled down and I'm supposed to give a speech. I get depanced, my bush is just, and I fall to my side and crumple and these girls scream and I'm like, look at him. My head just turned completely red. Like, I don't know, either kill myself or kill that kid who depends me.
I don't know what the fuck to do. Oh, murder. Yeah. Oh, fuck. That'd be terrible. I mean, you gotta keep it buzzed. You gotta keep it buzzed. Yeah, that's a good question though. Yeah. Someone depances you at the wrong time and you're just looking like Joe's shaft. Like, that's not good. No, come back to that. Yes. No, come back though. No, come back. No, come back. What do you think that time keep it trimmed up or just keep her along? Yeah, bro. Just, you know, shorten simple, bro, not too much. And, you know, you can't go full-carot top, you know. Yes. You can take a little off the top. And any more, I tell you what, that Amazon, you can get yourself a nice little trim or $15. What's more traumatic though, the bear or getting depanced with the first? Oh. I'd probably rather that it was, they just keep me. That's fucking cock-p-p-ers. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know. Sorry, the ass end. Oh. I'm coming back from that. I ended up coming back from that. Got decent amount of push and high school. After that? After. Good. Did you fall in me? They once the fucking cock's hit the air? They screamed, looked away and I just went limp, held on my side. Oh, no, my God. Covered myself and started to get my trousers up. That's where the best toys have here.
That was fucking brutal. Okay, call her number two. Let's see what we've got here. Yo, what's good? Fucking Joe, Diesel rigs and Kimbo. Same guy. I had a couple questions. My first question is, has Joe Diesel ever counted two tortas at once? My second question is, get to it. Good, dammit. I can't really think of a second question. I would say, have you guys ever worked a job that you guys fucking hated? And what was it? I currently work a job that I don't know if I fucking hate or not. But shit, I feel miserable. So I must fucking hate it. All right, good stuff, buddy.
Just bust some water on your face, wake up a little bit, shake it off, get some energy going. Two tortas at the same time, I've never experienced two bigger gals at the same time. No, that'd be a fucking hard one to take on. You got two 200 pound gals at the same time. Yeah, revved up for you. Fucking hairy cuck. That hairy shaft. No match for the cactus. No, fuck that. I think I did tell you one time I was in, there's an old show called IFC. I was the promoter's daughter was sucking me off. And her friend was a big ol' fucking tour, a big ol' hog and she, I thought she was just good with sitting there watching. She tried to step over, mount my face. I caught that bitch by the fucking side. I fucking liar. You died, dude. You died, dude. You died, dude. I caught that bitch. I swear to God, I threw her fat ass. Dude, she was a fucking wretched pig too. To try to mount my fucking gizzard like that. You. I'm going to give it a taste.
The audacity of that bitch. Oh, God. Oh, by center flying about 15 fucking feet. Did you really? Oh, yeah. Bed time. Two gals ever bigger ones. Bro, I've never had that. I love the story of rigs right there. It sounds like you know when the parents get adrenaline, they lift a fucking car. Yeah, that's right. I've never had it all of this fucking bums. Dude, she fucking, it was the promoter's name was Paul Smith. Remember him? I don't remember him. But probably, yeah, she was fucking, I probably shouldn't have said that. Yeah, it's all right. No, you keep it in there. No, I never catch that thigh come over on my head on my head. And that's just the must hit your guys. Shaken, shaken as I fucking, you have fucking horrible lips tickling my nose. Okay, next question was, have you ever worked a job? You hate? Yes, every single fucking job I've ever worked. I've never had a job. It's like, that one saying, the way you do one thing is the way you do everything. I've never really thought that. I'm like, because I was an absolute fucking turd of an employee when I was doing landscaping,
changing tires at tire ram, really? Driving the cars off the fucking lifts accidentally. Yeah, every job. But again, who said it? There was a smart guy who said it's like, there's not stupid people. There's just disinterested people. If you find these people and they're really interested in something, then they're going to flourish in it. That's the thing. Find something you're interested in. But also, especially for fighters coming up, it is not bad to have a little part-time job where you work 10 to 15 hours a week. Your morning sessions are max two hours. Your afternoon sessions are max two hours. So you have all this time in the mornings in between the day to work a little bit and make a little money. If you're working 10, 15 hours a week, that covers maybe your rent and maybe a little bit of food that's 100% worth it. You wouldn't have to take bad fights. Well, and everyone thinks they got to just, I need sponsors to survive. And it's like, if you have the opportunity and if you're smart enough sending these emails out or asking these guys to help with $250, $300 a month, then ask it.
But again, having a little part-time job when you're training, that's not too bad. That's a smart thing, dude, I think. Bedtime GF to do a job. Yeah, I like you said, bro, every job that didn't involve fucking MMA, bro, I don't give a fuck. You know what I mean? I think you got to find, you got to, like, I feel like you got to save your energy for the things you're interested in. Like, I would just save all my energy and like, effort for YouTube and training and fighting and shit like that. So, yeah, I totally agree, bro. Same with the jobs. I always, people always like, even with YouTube, I get comments like, oh, bro, should I drop out of school, be a YouTuber or whatever? I'm like, yeah, that is retarded, bro. Yeah. Just do both. You know what I mean? Do both until one of them works out. I think, yeah, I think people sometimes are all in too much when you could probably do both. Yeah, and not forgetting, not forgetting, like, people want just an automatic return when you start something like that. How long have you been on YouTube? Bro, like, almost four years now. So yeah, it's not, but I've been doing YouTube when I was like a kid as well, like when
I was younger, I wanted to do it. And it's like, it's not guaranteed. It's not like overnight. Like you said, it's a lot of time of, you know, working and I would show people it and they'd be like, oh, that's cute, bro. You have like a thousand subscribers, you know what I mean? So, it's not guaranteed and it's not easy either. So, yeah, same with fighting growth. Yeah. How many videos do you have that you've uploaded? I think over a thousand now. We reached a thousand like a couple weeks ago. Over a thousand. And then what number were you're like, oh, I'm starting to see a little bit of a little bit of money coming in, maybe a thousand to two thousand a month, what number on the videos? How long did it take you to get there? I don't know. I think I was definitely in the hundreds I would assume. Yeah, like I did take off kind of quickly. Four years is pretty quick. Yeah, like it, and it definitely went from like 2024, 2025. It like doubled basically, which was sick. And it's been, it's been going like really, really well. But I remember one time I showed my mate, like we were on a run. I was like, bro, I just made like two grand off YouTube. And he was like, oh, that's sick, man.
That's like half my paycheck, bro. I was like, damn, like fuck, I got so much more to do. You know what I mean? So I feel like there's always more you can get. What are the things that like for your YouTube and your following that you have? What are some of the main things that makes people like your channel? Fuck to find out, mate. I don't know. I think it's the probably just like, I feel like I talked to my camera. I talked to my viewers as if like I'm talking to my mates. Like I don't think I have this fancy, shmancy setup or like a lot of editing. Like I think it's more just I'm talking to the camera. I'm going, bro, this guy fucking sucks. He's not going to win this fight or this guy's fucking rules. He's going to win. Trust me, boys. I think it's just that one to one connection. And like whenever I run into fans, like, you know, they they they talked to me like that already know me basically. So I think that's what it is. I think I'm just real. You know, when I'm annoyed by something I'm crashing out. If I'm excited about something, you know, I think I'm just like try to be as realistic as possible. Oh, like authentic as possible. Yeah, that's I think that's the tough part when people do YouTube. Like you go on there and you're like, okay, how kind of how should I act?
But if you can genuinely be yourself and yourself as a likable person, that's where you're going to have success. That's where I'm like for Joe and his videos. I'm like, where however you can get into just you not trying to force anything and just being yourself. I think it's going to take off because Joe just started his YouTube. So we're going to help him get going here. Dude, man, I would love to. Man, if you guys ever want me to be in a video like we can collab or something or a man, I'd love to watch that. Joe is like fucking hilarious. Yeah, I think that's a good idea. You're saying Nick that takes a long time. Yeah, it's like you don't just it's like anything, right? It's like you also have to be skilled at making videos. Like if you look at your old videos, it's not as good as they are now. It's the same with same thing with YouTube. It's like you'll be more comfortable on camera, get more comfortable with your personality. But I think Joe doing all the GTA stuff right before, you know, the new GTA comes out like. Good. I can't wait for a new one comes out, man. Like imagine, doing like GTA online role play. Like that would just be the funny shit ever dude. Yeah, really beautiful. Well boys and girls, make sure you go check out bedtime MMA's channel.

You never know. He's one of those guys who comes from church. Of course. Comes a church, rolls in the gym, starts throwing on racial slurs. So the church is worth it. What racial slurs does this morning? He needs to be muzzled. I mean it's like god damn it. But it doesn't even have a membership and he comes in here and rations slurs. Yeah but you only like a thousand for the eggs that I gave you the water for that I never got back. Don't you see that? I wasn't even aware of that. Talk to fucking bees. Talk to me. He's going to give you that 200 bucks. And then he goes down. What was the 601 beginning? You offered him a 600. I think that was, I think that was for Armin and Hoofy. Really? Armin and Hoofy. There was no time to even get settled. Think he's going to win that money. He just came out and clipped in. No! Oh, boy. That was so good. Because I was the fool on his knees getting his head shaved last time. And I'm a fucking, I'm a 40-old bird in there doing it. He's the only kid he's got to excuse. I'm in the fucking, like a child getting his fucking whiskers cut. Yeah, thank God. I mean, John O'Keyman's got such a good hairline. And that means everything. I mean, especially with lighter hair, coldly sacks look so bad on people. Like, if I have to do it, ever. You would be dead. There'll be a day. Tim, have you ever had a shave your badge to do cold sacks? I was making people shave, but I've never seen it with a cold sacks. He's put it up on, but he hasn't lost to me. I've cold sacks bed and several times was lost.
Yes. That is true. I've put it up, first Joe. If he lost, he wouldn't. He wouldn't fuck. He was saying a welch always coward to a ring. And I couldn't take that. I didn't put it up. I took a shake. Did the fuck? You guys, that's one of the fucking funny things of all time when you fucking me in the belly. Grab my head fucking. No! If I was for sure they were going to stop it, they were going to let it happen, but they let me just fucking mocked and spread abroad. Oh, so that was just too good, bro. John O'Back, the back, the brows, and then cold sacks. God, that was good. That was good. Those fights were crazy. Godgable Stevenson. I don't know if I've seen so many people celebrate. Someone get KOed besides Ronda Rousey. I mean, when you rape. Grape. Grape. There's no need to say that. Yeah, I mean, again, it was it what he got. He got proven it was, you know how we got out of that case, right? No. There was a loophole that if the woman has had one alcohol beverage, like the man cannot be convicted of rape. I don't sell it's possible.
What? It how in Minnesota, the law is that for woman has one drink, then she can be raped as many times they want. The rapist can't be convicted because she has a drink. I don't see that's crazy. That's the fucking law. College gets crazy too. I mean, when you're in college, especially, it was Grape Stevenson like a four-time state champ. I don't know if he was. He probably was. So four-time state champ, you kind of think you're the man. You get drunk. You're at a party. A girl's pretty drunk. Little whistle pig. She said she had, she had, she had, she had one drink. Which other man, it didn't say she, it didn't say how much she had, but instead of the woman has alcohol in her system at the alleged time of the incident, then like, she can't take her word for it. I'd be a bad boy. Dude, I can't believe it. I have to see that in my own fun. Well, the college sports gets dicey too. With like local judges and home cooking. Yeah, the PD on campus. And Rasslin's a big, big deal up there in Minnesota. Big 10 schools, you know? Mazzula, I mean, Mazzula, the good college football players got away with a lot of all the options. Oh, for sure. I'm shocked.
I'm shocked. You ever hear about any grape and going up there Mazzula? In college, yeah. There was some big, big cases going on when I was, really? I wonder how much cable Stevenson made would make in college right now. If he was, if he had the acclis- Dude, there's guys that are like, 26 on their eighth year in NIL, just fucking milking it. Like, Anthony Ferrari or AJ Ferrari, they're like 26 or 27 on their seventh- three year on NIL. And they're getting paid. Yeah. How is AJ Ferrari getting paid, though? And I don't know. It's NIL. I don't know how that works. I don't know what the college is. I don't know if he's making money. I thought Division I was only, you get paid in fucking every college. He's not saying NIL. NIL. What do you say? NIL. What allows them to get sponsored while they're using a college platform to make money? Oh. So, where does the money come from to school? Or donor? No, sponsors. It could. It could come to school, too, I think, though, right? Yeah, there's a lot of money going from donors' hands to athletes' hands these days. A lot of donors can't stomach it,
because a lot of them are like old birds, you know, like traditional. And they're like, I'm not paying kids, but a lot of times it goes from donors to these days. It's the death of, I think it's going to really affect the mission. Because the guys aren't going to want to go out of wrestling and the fighting, because they're making so much money. And then college will be the pinkel, because you can make millions of dollars. You're not going to be fucking pushing to go to the NFL, get the draft early and whatnot. I think it's going to happen. There were guys that tried to, there were guys that spent training camps in the NFL this summer, and then tried to go back to college. That's, I think it's going to be, what's going to be the worst thing for the highest level in the English, that was the sports they're doing it. Dude, I mean, that's crazy. If you get into college, I mean, even the college wrestlers, if you're making six figures a year, like 500K, and probably the, yeah, the best wrestlers are probably making a million. That's good. I mean, before they would go into fighting, that's what the, that's what the progression is. But now, fucking make a lot more money in wrestling with some point. Well, dude, especially when people, when people see what happened to Gable,
they're like, Gable's not going to lose. He's just the best wrestler ever, and he gets fucking slump like that. That makes a lot of wrestlers think, oh, fuck that. I don't know what, I just didn't like his, fuck his, his, his, his eyes. He just has like a grapey look on his face. I, not even, not him being a great wrestler, I just didn't like it. And Nick, Nick's, Nick's, Nick's the same thing. I said, like his, his aura. Yeah. He wasn't, wasn't, it's not like the guy. Yeah, yeah, exactly. It was weird. Like the press conferences stuff, those press conferences are hard though. They're fucking so hard. You want, you want to do something, you want to be like, hook it. Remember when hook it, burst on scene, like how everyone was like, that is the cringiest thing ever, and then everyone loves it. How Tommy, everyone fucking beat us. That's sad, so. The cringiest thing ever, but then you win, people love it. To be able to talk, like, just go with him, Tommy's last fight, to put on a war like that and to slip into say those things that act that character. You know, I mean, I can't, I'm not giving, but hook it, that's for sure character.
That's what he does. To be able to do that after fighting, you know, is impressive. That's fucking cool. You're already puckered up, tired, you've been cracked a few times, no for sure. And we got hook it, versus cereal gone. Hook is probably gonna be a big underdog. He's probably gonna be a big underdog, dude. The guy walks around 230 pounds, like 230 pounds not cutting. Serial gone cuts to 265. He's like an NFL D lineman athleticism with the speed. If you, who would you guys bet on? Have we seen gone fucking like, defend takedowns well against anybody? Or it's been all shy, because he's beat. Who did he defend takedowns a few against? Decently, I forgot. That big white like rush, spivoker. Yes. I think I'm gonna get to my view. Hook it's a lot better restaurant, that guy. Hold that mic a little closer, Joe. But fucking, what a night. And then, and then arm and verse, whoofy. Arm and gets just fucking that nasty elbow in close. He was just, he was talking about, he was, uh,
whoever, whenever campy was in, was working, we'll come with him for that. But I fucking, I, hoofy look good man, but great. He did. I was cracked with that. Cracked him with that long right hand. And, uh, in end of it, just getting fucking slumped. Crazy, crazy. Crazy night fights, it was really good. Dill, what you been up to these days? I'm getting back on a training since, I've been out three months for my back, just fucking staring at a wall. But the back's so tricky, because the back is so tricky, because it never actually heals. It does though. It does though. I'm telling you it does, but you just gotta do the right things. And a lot of people think just resting is it, and it's just not. No, I've been, I got stem cells forward. I've been doing PT. Where'd you get stem cells? Tijuana. You went down there. Yeah. How much was it? 4K, 5K. It's not too bad. Yeah. From where? Uh, this place is called Carabella stem cells. They took good care of me. They gave me some fucking Mexican volume. Uh, was it a good time? Were you scared? Uh, I would, like, not of the treatment itself,
but I was like, I'm going to a different country, and there's like a possibility they just fucking sedate me and I wake up and don't have like a kidney or something. I was gonna never come down there, because it's better to be pops off or something that drags them off again. Well, yeah, well, if it's not like a, like a CPI stem cells, like they people know about it. It's been talked about, but they probably have some crazy clinics down there. And for 4, 5K, I would have been scared as fuck, because I just heard on Joe Rogan's that they went to Mexico. Put stem cells in a disc in the back, and it got infected. Oh, man. And it paralyzed the guy. Well, that, that's what I was, because you could do epidural or intradiscol, and I was looking at intradiscol, and I was like, I did a lot of fucking research on it. If you get an infection inside your disc, you're super fucked. They have the cutters in the top of your neck, that almost happened to you down to your tailbone and you irrigate the whole spinal column. What the hell happened? I just got an epidural. I think he ended up fixing it. They ended up fixing it. His legs ended up coming back. But when was this going?
Like, beginning of August? September, October. He was in bad shape, too. So you've only given that six weeks. Like, them stem cells for me didn't work for three months. Oh, really? And then, dude, you got them for your back, too? I got them for my shoulder. My shoulder was so fuck. I couldn't even, I was like, I'm done with everything forever. And then I got those stem cells, and it was so painful. And I got a lot of stem cells. And then right at the two month work, mark up my fuck, bro. It's not in the three month mark, win away completely. Wow. And I've never had an issue with it since. Did you leave it alone? Did you not use it all until work? Didn't use it at all. They said, shh.
