The Trump family and the Trump administration's gotten some really bad news today. As price continue to rise, market rates continue to rise. The American public is saying, no, Republicans in Texas say they don't want to vote for the president. They don't want to vote for Republicans heading into the midterms. A new polling shows that Republicans are down more so than we've ever seen in a very long time. It is very rough out there for Donald Trump as he and his family prepare for mass investigations. Right now, that Congress is set to bring mass investigations that would begin on day one if Democrats were to take over in November. We need to talk about what we saw today because right now, there is a major shift happening in politics. And if you can, make sure to hit that subscribe button. We're on the road to a million subscribers. Like, comment here, get the word out. A New New York Times see on a poll has been released today showing that Democrats are trusted on nearly every single issue by wide margins. Well, regardless of how you might vote, please tell me which party you trust to do a better
job handling each of the following. Health care by a 24-point margin, Democrats are favored over Republicans. Why? In part to the fact that right now, there is no Republican health care plan. Immigration, this was flipped by the way, just two years ago, Donald Trump rode an anti-immigration wave into the White House. But now, for the first time in a long time, Democrats are favored on immigration by seven points. And it's likely because you see things like ice-killing people in the streets, American citizens, Renee Good, Alex Prety, ice-ripping families apart, ice-having horrific conditions inside detention facilities, like alligator alcatraz where they literally held people in cages so small that human rights organizations say it is tantamount to torture. The deficit, which is a major Republican issue, Democrats are up 10 points on 51 to 41. Right now, the deficit is reaching its highest levels to date. The economy, we're going to talk about the economy, Democrats are favored by seven points
right now. That is significant. I've said it from the longest time that the party that is favored on the economy is the party that is going to win in the midterms. And while right now, with the economy a bit in shambles, Democrats are significantly favored. Cost of living goes hand in hand with the economy. Democrats are up eight points. Four in wars, Democrats are up seven points. I actually was surprised this wasn't wider, just given the fact that the Iran war is so unpopular with the American public. But Democrats still lead that by seven points. Israel Palestine, Democrats lead by 11 points. That's not necessarily surprising given the fact that to this day, Donald Trump, despite promising an end to what is happening in Gaza and a peace deal between the two, they haven't been able to do really anything to date. The only issue where Republicans are leading Democrats on is artificial intelligence. And that is within the margin of error, just two percentage
points. And with the AI boom happening right now, we'll see whether or not that shifts. It is likely to shift at some point. So in any event, it is a major development right now. And when you look deeper into this, would you rather vote for a candidate who supports Trump wants to provide a check on Trump or does not matter either way? 49% of those polls want a check on Trump. 47% either support or doesn't matter. Only 26% of those polls say they want candidates that support Trump. And on Republicans, you have 10% of Republicans now saying they want candidates who will be a check on Donald Trump. 59% of independents say they want a check on Donald Trump. Just 13% of independents and 66% of Republicans want candidates who support Donald Trump. Those numbers are significant. If Donald Trump is only winning voters by the Republican voters at a 66% clip, or say even a 75% clip, that's margin. You're about to see Democratic margins we haven't seen in
years. Now obviously polls don't vote people do. And when you ask people right now whether or not they want to support this president, they want to support Republicans in places like deep red Texas along the southern border, where right now Donald Trump is literally taking lands from Republican voters who supported him in the first place to construct his border wall through big bend, they unanimously say we don't want that. Take a listen to this. So if this isn't about keeping people safe, what's it about? It seems like it's about money and creating corruption. I mean, I don't know how else to see it. We're trying to figure out where to stand up. And they're being sneaky by going through all our little counties. So we have to. Everybody has to show up at these county meetings and make sure not sneak and stuff in. If they can take advantage of our national park, what will happen to other national parks? What will happen if our state park is a domino that falls and all the other state parks are at risk as well? The plating and the bulldozing and the trinching is symbolic of the political graves that are being dug. This is going to shake Texas up
in November in the midterms. And there's going to be a lot of regret for what Greg Abbott allowed in our state's most treasured and iconic landscapes. So that's the only comfort that I can take right now and midterms can't get here fast enough. Our MS now team drove over 1,100 miles, talking to Republicans, Democrats, everything in between. We saw a lot of signs like these. But for the first time in a decade full of trips to Texas, I did not see a single MAGAHAT Trump sign flag or painted car. First time in a decade, no MAGAHAT, no painted car, none of that. None of that. And maybe it's because prices are too damn high. Diesel prices are hitting record numbers. Home ownership prices are, it's impossible to buy a home. It got to the point today where Costco has now started to ration motor oil. Costco has raised the price of its Kirkland Signature
Full-Synthetic Motor Oil and begun limiting how much only any one member can purchase. As a global lubricant shortage tied to what is happening in Iran, pushes crude oil towards a $100 of barrel. The 10-quart case, two five-quart bottles enough for a typical V6 or V8 oil change, has now jumped to $57.99 compared to roughly $30 price members had to grow in a custom to paint. That is significant. But if you ask the Trump administration what is causing this oil rise, they say it's Ukraine. But it's not here just 30 seconds. President Trump has been pushing Russian Ukraine to stop targeting each other's energy infrastructure. This is all as the price of diesel is back at records. Does any of that help diesel and that energy shortage? Certainly taking capacity out of the global energy markets like is what happened as Ukrainian strike. Russia has put pressure on diesel and oil generally. And that war needs to end. And President
Trump is absolutely right that the 30,000 people that are dying every single month or more on the battlefield needs to end. It is really a war that only has a diplomatic solution. It's not going to be solved on the battlefield. And that will certainly take some of the pressure off of the global energy markets. Thank you, Ambassador Matthew Woodett-Taker for joining us. Comment, share, get the word out and I'll have another update for you very soon.
