She's here now! Here he is! She's here now! She's here now! She's here now! She's here now! She's here now! Come on now! I love you and enjoy yourself and enjoy yourself.

Welcome, everybody. Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Tonight Show. This is it! That's right. Thank you for watching. Thanks for being here. Well, guys, according to a new poll, President Trump's approval rating has fallen to 33% the lowest level of his presidency. Yeah. I mean, most people like to drop a few for the summer, but this is pretty bad. That is. You have Trump's approval rating is down to 33%. I mean, even diarrhea lettuces at 34%. Oh. Not... But there is some good news for Trump. His numbers are in an all-time high and a new poll from catering car and driver magazine. The poll also found that a large majority of Americans are concerned about an endless war with Iran. Yeah, this is America. The only things we wanted to be endless are shrimp at Red Lobster and seasons of Grey's Anatomy. That's it. That's all we're going with those two. He wants today Trump said that the U.S. is currently not engaged in any talks with Iran.

Yeah. Well, we're out of missiles, so now we're hitting them with the silent treatment. Trump was like, let me put it this way. There's a better chance to be talking with Melania. So that's... Speaking of Iran... Speaking of Iran, today Trump posted a map labeling the Strait of Hormuz as a new U.S. territory. The White House said, look, he stopped posting photos of himself as Jesus. So this baby steps. Okay, let's just take it. Things don't seem to be going well for Trump overseas. His 60-day deadline to make a deal with Iran has expired. He's threatening to bomb Oman. And once again, he's posting about how much he loves North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. Here with an update on the president's foreign policy is White House spokesperson Alex Russell. Alex? Thank you for being here. Thank you. So, how would you say Trump's foreign policy is playing out in his second term? Well, let's put it this way. I think we're ready to start talking about the Epstein files again.

Wait, you want to talk about the Epstein files? That would be a huge relief. Yes. Look, war is complicated. Nuclear negotiations, geopolitical quagmires, Straits of Hormuz. It's also depressing. Let's just go back to the good old days when everyone was like, is he in the Epstein files? And we were like, yes. And everyone was like, how many times? And we were like a million. It was not more fun? I mean, yeah, but not for you guys, though, right? Oh, no, we loved it. I remember one night, I huffed so much white out that I passed out in the Oval Office. When I woke up, Todd Blanche had redacted my nipples. You know, a lot of people think that you started the runward to distract from the Epstein files. Yeah, we did. We totally did. When you were young, all this stuff seems like it matters so much. Like, oh, MG, I hope I get invited to write on his jet. Oh, does he like the little poem I wrote him for his birthday? Well, then you get older. And you start an unwinnable war.

And you're like, wow, who bestank was right? This who bestanks? All right, Alex, if it means that much, we can't talk about the Epstein files. Really? You mean it? Yeah, mind why not? So is the president in the Epstein files? Absolutely not. That's a disgusting allegation. You should be ashamed yourself, Fallon. Thanks, bud. All right, at any time. White House spokesperson Alex Russell everybody. He never went to the island. He never went to the island. I know, I know. Some more news from the White House press secretary Caroline Levitt is on her way out. But I read that instead of replacing her with one person, Trump might use a rotating cast of officials to handle press briefings, which is code for nobody wants that job. Honestly, he can save people a lot of time by just having an Alexa up there saying... That's fake news. Quiet, piggy. All right, here you go. How to work.

Switching gears, I saw that Burger King's sales are surging and they're now growing faster than most of their competitors, like Wendy's. Yeah, they did it by revamping the wapper and renovating their restaurants, but the competition isn't going down with that fight. Here's a new ad I saw from Wendy's. At Wendy's, we'll never stop improving our recipes, ingredients, and customer experience. Come see us soon. Wendy's. Yeah. Here's one from another competitor, KFC. At KFC, we're sprucing up all your favorites. So come enjoy something hot, crispy, and fresh. KFC. Yeah. Nice. Yeah. Here's one from Taco Bell. Yeah, maybe just go to Burger King. All right, all right. Right this one out. Right this one out. Well, I read that meta will soon use facial recognition technology with their meta glasses. Yeah, right now they're testing it out, but I'm not sure it's recognized in the faces it's supposed to. I'll show you what I mean. For instance, here's the FBI director, Cash Patel.

But meta recognized him as this emoji. See what I mean? I don't think it's worth it. I don't think it's worth it. Like check this out. Here's JD Vance. Meta recognized him as a coconut. Up next, here's Senator Rand Paul. But meta recognized him as pig pen. Here's RFK Jr. But meta recognized him as Mama Coco. Is he thought? Is that really Mama? Next up, here's Caroline Levitt. But meta recognized her as Varukasal. And finally here's Donald Trump. But meta recognized him as a dumpster fire. So this is all working on the technology. No friction. Did you guys see this paramount wants $1.9 billion from the states that are suing to block its merger with Warner Brothers Discovery? It's an awkward time for a paramount.

But based on this promo, I just saw it looks like they have a plan for how to get through it. Check this out. We here at Paramount are confident that our merger with Warner Brothers will eventually be completed. But in the meantime, remember, all of your favorite shows are still available on Paramount Plus. Like Yellowstone, Landman, Marshalls, 1883, 1923, and Dutton Ranch. And since our merger is taking longer than expected, we've put even more Taylor Sheridan shows into production. So get ready to check out 1923 BC. Dusty Horse Boys. Dusty Horse Boys and One Woman. Man Land. Dutton Double Wide Trailer. Gender Swapped Yellowstone. Gender Swapped Yellowstone, so it's the same again. What if a dog found some oil? Is that anything? Oil Dog? Dusty Horse Boys and Two Women. Two and a half Dusty Horse Boys. The Big Bang Theory, but Taylor Sheridan wrote it this time. And of course, Oil Dog, 1923. Paramount Plus. We need this merger.

We need this merger bad. Oil Dog. You guys are very excited from the massive Netflix hit Outer Banks. Chase Stokes is here tonight. And that's... Yes! I love that show. I love him. I cannot wait to ask him all about the new season. Oh, Jimmy. I'm sure you know this already, but you'll probably want to ask him if JJ's death in Morocco in the season four finale was real, or if the show has a surprise fake out in store. Well, I wasn't planning on asking that, but I can't if you want. No, I don't care. I'm just saying, it's probably something that fans would want to know. Yeah. Along with how quickly they'll track down Chandler Groff in that valuable blue crown. Are these things that you want to know, Trey?

I don't know. I don't watch the show, Jimmy. It's for Gen Z. Yeah! But you'll probably also want to ask him whether JJ's death causes John B to revert to his mysterious self, or whether he carries some of JJ's light-hearted energy with him in the wake of his passing. You know, every single one of the character's names. Those are just lucky guesses. We just feel like basic, good interviewing to ask something like, John B went for being obsessed with finding Big John to actually finding him and realizing he wasn't the father he imagined. But did that change the way you approached John B's motivations in later seasons? You're reading off a card that you wrote. You're obviously a massive fan of the show. I have only, I've only seen 25 seconds of the show by accident on someone else's iPad on the subway. And in those 25 seconds, I got a strong feeling that, for example,

if the people would want to know about John B and Sarah's relationship, because they're essentially from two completely different worlds, but now that they've survived, shipwrecks, treasure hunts, and poglandia, I mean, fans wonder if the class device still exists between them at all. Why won't you just admit that you love the show? Dude, you are completely wrong. Because I have never seen or enjoyed it. Hey guys. Cheers! Cheers! Wow. Cheers! What's going on, bud? Oh, you know, nothing. Just kind of hanging out. Oh, three, I just wanted to let you know. I signed your Outer Banks merch stuff. I get to this poster right here, T-shirt, the hat, and you wanted me to make it out to Tereek Trotter,

the unofficial pog member. I just wanted to let you know I got it all done. I don't even know what you're talking about. And thank you, Mr. Stokes. Mr. Chase Stokes and Tereek everyone. Cheers! Ask him a sign on that. Wow. Finally, a new study fan that using the mail and handsmen pill, Cialis could cause you to go blind. What? Who said that? I can't believe it. Pick it. Pick it. Yep, Cialis may cause you to go blind. So if your erection lasts longer than four hours, call your optometrist. There you go. We have a great show. And about Hall of Fame, right? And Andy Winning TV host Michael Strahan is here to know. From Outer Banks, Chase Stokes is joining us. Stick around. We're playing Flips out to Michael Strahan and Chase Stokes.

Let me come back. Come on, everybody. Yeah. Good answer, come on. Thanks, everyone. You're the best. Good answer. Good answer. Our first guest is an NFL Hall of Famer and an Emmy-winning host who leads a new special called 9-11, United We Stand, 25 years later. It premieres Tuesday, September 1st, at 9 p.m. on ABC, and streams the next day on Disney Plus and Hulu. Please welcome Michael Strahan. All right. Feel the love. Feel the love. They love you. You know what? I love coming here. I've been here over 20 times. This is 20. It's your 20 best audience I've ever had for all of you. They're best. They love you. They love you, man. This is actually coming. This is a record for most appearances on the Tonight Show. Tonight is number 23. 23. Right. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you very much. We're honored. We're honored to have you on. And you know in honor of you, I'm wearing... You're sporting your jacket. I'm wearing my Michael Strahan. Yeah. Yeah, custom made. Custom made, Michael Strahan. Yeah. Custom made, Michael Strahan. Yeah. Oh, come on. Have you looked good, man? I've noticed you looked particularly good today. Thank you, man. I appreciate that. Thank you. This summer had something very big, memorable sports moments. I wanted to hear your thoughts on a few, if you don't mind. Yeah. How about the Nick's winning? Their first championship. Their first championship. In 53 years. That's right. Come on. That was good, right? That was good. And the best team... And with the best team, and the great thing about it was... It was like the city wasn't divided. You know the Giants win, then the Jets fans. You know, if the Yankees... The match fans aren't happy. Yeah. Everybody was happy for the Nick's. Everybody was happy for the Nick's. Everybody was happy for the Nick's. Everybody was happy for the Nick's. Everybody was happy for the Nick's. It was just an energy music show. It was a happy show, man. And can congrats to them. And once I congratulate to my guy, Carl Anthony Towns, he got married.

That's right, Cat. Big news. Big news for the Nick. We love you, Kit Cat. Kit Cat. I tried to give the Nick name Kit Cat. That don't work. He did not like it at all. Yeah. As your friend, don't do it. I try, man. Straight hand, you were joining the podcast world. Yeah. It's happening in September. What does the podcast call? The podcast is called Puzzle Like Your Broke. Yeah, it's right. Puzzle like your broke. I like your broke. And the network is called the intersection. It's my brother. And the network is called the intersection. It's myself and my partner, Confinne Swarty. Yeah. Or Rene. I'm a who started. We started a company, smacked 15 years ago. And you know, we kind of talked about all. It's not just about sports or anything like that. It's about business. It's about reinvention. It's about entrepreneurship. Yeah. It's about all the things that I know I've had to do in my life. And I've done it in my life. And I would love to have you on to talk about your business. What you do is, because people see the one thing that we do in front of the camera, but there's so many other things that we do outside of that. And I think that people love to hear authentic conversations. People love to see people.

And maybe hear something that gives them hope and makes them believe in what they can do in their lives and in their business. So, Confir. That's what it's all about. Good man. Good for you. I love that. September. Wherever you live, isn't your podcast. Yes. Hustle like your broke. Let's talk about your new special here. It's 9-11. United We Stand. 25 years later. Yeah. It is a great special. It was a powerful special about how we all came and united after 9-11 here in the world, but especially in New York as well. Yeah, you were part of it. So, thank you. I'm in this. Yeah. Absolutely. I was honored to even be asked, but anything with you, I know you do amazing stuff and great stuff, but we were here. And I was on Sarah Live at the time. It was very short time for all of us. And it's sad time for all of us. And what this documentary showcases is, you know, the healing process of that, but healing through sports, through entertainment, through comedy, Broadway, music, through Broadway.

Yeah. And we have an incredible group of contributors to it, from John Stewart, that John Bonjoby to yourself, to Robin Robbers and George Stepmob. Derek Geter, Derek Geter, who is in this with us to talk about a jotory how, you know, how we were able to heal, and not just here in New York, but at the nation, because we needed something. You, at first, it felt like it wasn't important to play football, which it wasn't that first week, or it wasn't important to play baseball, or do Saturday Night Live or anything like that. Correct. But at the end of the day, those were the moments that people were able to kind of move on, and for just to have a few hours to remove themselves from all the trauma that was going on. And it's a tribute to the victims, it's a tribute to their families, to all the first responders for everybody who had to go through that. And now to see how just the resilience and the love and the way we all came together in that point, it's maybe to give us some hope to do it again, because I feel like we need to do that again. It's amazing that you did that and honored everybody in that, and I never forget, and obviously, when I watch it, it kind of brought me back, and I go,

oh, that was just... I watched it, and I'll be honest with you, man, I was watching it with Constance, my partner, and I'm trying to be all stoic and cool. Yeah. And eventually, I just grabbed the tissues. Oh, yeah. I was like, this is beautiful. It's beautiful. It's beautiful. I mean, it brings back some memories and things that make you cry, but also the part of that is the beauty of it that brings out these emotions to me. And to care of each other. Yeah, how we took care of each other, and how we continue to take care of each other, and how we don't forget. And I think that's the biggest thing. This was the biggest tragedy we've ever had around the country, and I just hear in New York City, and I just wanted to honor everybody in this way. There's a scene in there that's bizarre that I didn't really know about. It's kind of a full circle moment involving... Pete Davidson. He Davidson was a very funny comedian. A tragic phase, his father... That's the way. That's the way. That's the way I was born in 1911, the father of the firefighter. And I was doing an interview for GMA,

with Arianna Grande. And that, they were engaged at the time. And she kept saying to me, when we're done, I want you to meet my guy Pete, my guy Pete, and I'm like, I know who he is. Yes, I'll meet him. You know, when we're done. Well, he comes into the room, she introduces me, and he says, hey, I'm Pete, I'm like, of course, I know you. I'm Michael. Nice to meet you. He goes, remember, the first game you had back at Giant Stadium after 1911. And I was like, yeah, he goes, you guys had kids come out there with you on the field, you holding hands, had kids on your shoulders and everything. And I'm like, absolutely. He goes, I was one of those kids. And I'm like, wow. Oh, my goodness. That's amazing. He goes, no. I was the kid on your shoulder. Oh, wow. Yeah, freak me out. Completely freak me out. No, no. And, but I mean, who would have known? And, but Pete, it's like a little brother to me now. Absolutely love him. Yeah, we love him. Such a gentle soul. It's an, yeah. It's amazing. It's powerful. You have to watch this. It's amazing. And thank you for making this. Oh, thank you. Getting everybody together and doing this. And I'll be right back. Yeah.

Michael Strathan, everybody. 9-11 United. We stand 25 years later. Who mirrors September 1st on ABC? Chase Stowe's choices after the break. Stick around, everybody. You know our next guest as John B. From the very popular series, Outer Banks. The Fit Out. The Fifth and Final season begins streaming. This Thursday on Netflix, please welcome Chase. Come on, bud. Chase, I was loving when you're here. So it's nice to see you. Welcome back. I was doing some reading up at that you. And I found out that you love rom-coms. I do. Romantic comedies.

I'm kind of like a hopeless romantic. I don't know. It's the, I mean, listen, Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson. You kind of can't go wrong. Yeah, whatever romantic romance you love. 51st dates. Yes. I'm the guy in 10 days. I mean, just go with it. You can go. How'd you just cover those? You just go, I'm romantic. I want to be in these. I was like 10 or 11. And I think it, okay, weirdly it started with ghost and Patrick Swaisy, which is not a rom-com by any means. No, but more rom. Yeah. Yeah, a little more rom and drama. Yeah, more rom and drama than com. Yeah, absolutely. And then I just kind of fell into the rabbit hole of comi. Rom. Okay. Did they inspire you to make any great romantic gestures in your own life? You know, I always wanted to do the, you know, Heath Ledger down the steps and the singing and... I couldn't do it. I'm so scared. Like, I'm such a wuss. You're scared to do it. Yeah, and then, you know, you look in the mirror and you try to do the Matthew McConaughey, like, all right, all right, all right. You can't. No, no, no, no. Kate, don't stoke, don't do it. You know what, do me, um...

What's up, buddy? I've got some... I've got some beef with you right now. I can feel, I can feel. Yeah, yeah, I'm sorry. I'm not good at hiding things. Yeah, this is rare when this happens, but yeah, it happens to people. You have beef with me? You try to make a Drew start. Yeah, we don't have to say, we don't need to save me anymore. Any more. Yeah, he came on the show. Yeah, yeah, you did that. Yeah. He's just a nuisance, you know, he's everywhere. I know, but you were friends, you've been on the show a bunch of times and it'd been great to us. Yeah. I just figured, yeah, I just figured, you know what? I figured the wealth, you know? And sure, he's maybe not Drew. You don't have to see him anymore. He talked very nicely about you, by the way. No, no, it's too much. I love that, man. I really do. Are you... You became friends. I think he was telling me, like, in real life, do you know how to move? Oh, God, he told you that? Yeah. Do you like show up and do you haul truckers or something? Yeah, so when we started the show, we had auditions against each other for years prior to the show. And so we kind of were like, wait a minute.

We... And so he's like, can you help me move? And I was like, yeah, of course, I'll help my brother out. And so he has this u-haul. And I'm thinking he's got all sorts of ridiculous stuff inside this u-haul. He's like, all right, here we go. It opens the back. It's one single mattress, three coffee cups, a keyboard, a filing cabinet. Oh, yes. I've purchased one in a record player. In a record player. In a full-blown u-haul. So... He's just moving there and living there. I was like, this is it. This is cheaper than the rent you're going to play. But you became... But you guys became really close friends. We did. Yeah, we did. You actually brought me actually something from your iPhone. Yeah, I did. So you will just pick up your phone and look at your photos and he has taken 100 photos himself. So, yeah. Yeah, so Drew does this thing, like, I'll leave my phone in my cash share. And then I'll just come back and go to get on my phone and that's my camera roll. See? That's why we love this guy. Come on. He said he got a little...

A little choked up. Oh, because this is the final season. Yeah, it's so funny. He's like, he claims to be like a non-emotional person. And he's like, I felt like I was a psychopath. I wasn't crying at all. No, he was a mess. A dude did not stop crying. Hold, I love you, him. He's like, oh, no. Oh, my gosh. Drew, come here. But he said that he got kind of... He had to kind of gel with you guys on this final season where he didn't have before. And he was like, this is bummed me out because I love everybody in this crew and I kind of grew up with these people. Yeah, it was kind of a weird dynamic for the longest time because Raffa's always on his own. Of course. And the pogs are out on their journey. So, you know, the end of season four we have, you know, the unfortunate that that happens. And then Raffa's stuck with the pogs. As John B, you're the narrator. Was it extra-emotional for you? To kind of this is the finals, the end. Yeah, yeah. That's weird. You know, we started this thing and we would all go and do the voiceover work together. So, I'd be in the studio. The whole cast would be there. You actually lived together at one point. We did. Yeah. We did during the pandemic.

Yeah, you lived together during the pandemic and then I remember this character was invented... Oh, God. Tammy. And Tammy... Oh, wow. I'm a big fan. Tammy. Now, how did... Mm-hmm. How did... Sweet Tammy. Sweet Tammy. How did Tammy get invented? And it will never go away. Do you realize that? Yeah. No, it's... It can haunt me. It's Tammy getting her own spin off? I think she might get a new spin off. Yeah. We're talking on Netflix, actually backstage about it. Oh, that's perfect. Can we tell everyone what's happening the final season of Outer Banks? Again, yeah. So, you know, obviously after JJ's passing, the pogs are going out for revenge. And so, it's really... What are they going to do to get the things that they love in life? And how are they going to take care of themselves into the future? So, it's, uh, action packed as always, a lot of love, and, um... Land in the plane. There you go, bud. Congratulations, honey. Good run. It's awesome. Come back to the middle. We love you. Love you. Come back. Chase Stoets, everybody!
