From studio six being rockin' the other center in the heart of New York City, it's the tonight's role, sorry, give me power. Today's the night time giving his guest the cold-kid. Cold old police, and D-D, legendary Roots Purge. 23-38! Get in, I know! Here he is! You may find out! Oh, cool! Wow!

Thank you! Hey! Thank you very much. We're gonna have fun tonight. Enjoy yourself. Welcome, everybody. Welcome, welcome, welcome to the tonight show. This is it. This is... Thank you for watching. And I just want to say quickly, if you laugh at all these jokes tonight, President Trump said he'll give everyone in the audience $5,000. Right? Well, guys, the two-day Republican midterm convention just wrapped up, and last night, President Trump made a keynote address and spoke for nearly two hours. It was the first time Trump's been in a room where he was awake and everyone else was asleep. Two hours. That's not a speech, that's a residency. Now, you know, Trump was standing for so long by the end of his speech. He was 90% can't go. Yeah. Yeah. Trump's speech was up against the first NFL game of the season.

Yeah. After both events ended, the players were fine, but Trump was checked for a head injury. But everyone is talking about this. Trump said that it for Republicans win both the House and the Senate in the midterm elections. He will give every American adult $5,000. Now, I know that sounds like a bribe. In Trump's defense, he's never going to pay us. So technically, it's not a bribe. There you go. $5,000 for everyone. The only catch is the money must be spent at the Mar-a-Lago gift shop. We have key chains in the corner. That's right. Trump promised to pay every American $5,000 for Republicans win the midterm. It's a little confusing, but the White House just put out this video message to clarify. Let's watch this.

I'm going to say, for the next 100 years, I'll throw in a free my pillow. 200 years. 200 free my pillow. What else do you want? Health care? It don't get greedy. Not going to happen. So this November, let's make America dysfunctional and broken. But give everyone cold hard cash to look the other way again. Yay! Wow. So that is really fast. It's terrifying. Oh, and this was well. At one point in the speech, Trump hyped up Texas Senate candidate Ken Axton. But he did it in a pretty interesting way. I don't know if you saw this. This is real. He may not dress right. He may not talk exactly perfectly. And he may not be the best-looking guy I've ever seen. But you know what he is? He's the greatest attorney general in America. Meanwhile, Ken was like, thank you for the endorsement. He's very ugly. And the... Is breast smells deramite? Oh, my God. Damn, damn, we're good, but thank you.

Switching gears, hackers from Iran are claiming responsibility for an AT&T outage in Texas that lift thousands without internet, TV or phone service. That's the problem when you hack AT&T. No one can really tell. Everything's normal. Everything's... No bars. Everything's normal. It's like claiming responsibility for the breaking the ice cream machine at McDonald's. It's like, yeah, it never works. Never worked. Well, listen to this, Elon Musk is threatening to sue the director of a new four-hour documentary about him. Yeah, apparently the documentary is super explosive. I mean, not Tesla explosive, but explosive. And finally, the FDA just said that a multi-state salmonella outbreak has been linked to broccoli sprouts. Oh, no. Let us and broccoli sprouts. What's next? Flossing? Oh, we have a great show. Give it up for the real-time battle. It's a battle of my hand. So you put a foot in the answer back. You're a big boy. So you can come out.

Yeah! That's right! Welcome to the show. What a show we have for tonight. Oh, this is my favorite. One of the biggest movie stars in the world. You can now see her in the highly anticipated movie, Practical Magic 2, which is in theaters now. The one and only. Nicole Keenan is here. To the... Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Wow, so... He stars in the Peacock series, The Paper. You can also see him in the new movie, The Incomer, which is in theaters September 25th. Donal Gleason is joining us. Oh! Oh! Oh, my God. I have the first game. Our first guest is an Oscar-winning actor and one of the biggest movie stars in the world.

You can see her in the highly anticipated movie, Practical Magic 2, which is in theaters today. Everyone, please welcome Nicole Keenan! Yeah. I'm quite shy. Yes, you are. Yeah. Have you ever been on stage or have you done theatre before? Yes. Yes, I've done theatre. Yes. I've years ago I did a thing called the Blue Room and then I transferred that in Broadway and then I did a play about a female scientist called Rosalind Franklin who... So you do love the... About a 55. You love the live audience. I don't even say he loves the live audience. I don't even say he loves the live audience. He loves show musicians. Yes, he loves the live. You're having a very musical moment right now, I will say, because you're in Troisavon's

new music video called She's the Best, which I... Yes. I would have written for you as well as She's the Best. I know you worked with Troi and... In a film called Boyer Rice. Yes. Yes. And then he called me, he's Australian. But he could just text me and say, would you be in my next music video? You're always up for... You're a game, you're like, dude, I love you man. You support young artists. You did it. Let's go. But then you... Tell me where to be. And you're not today. I showed up. You crushed it. But then you know... He wrote a great song and kind of... But do you know about another great song? Do you know Adele? Yes. You do. Adele, who I love, Ain't N' LA. But I also have a new song called Nicole Kidnan. That is the name of her song. She's doing... She's doing you in the video, a bunch of different films of you. Nicole Kidnan, I mean... Yes. I can't believe it. She wrote a song called Nicole Kidnan.

I'm like, who is that person? Yes. Isn't that cool? Yeah, but in her video, she did all the films I've done, half of them I can't even remember, so it was really good. Yeah, it's a good reminder. She's so talented. Look at you in Mulan Rouge. Come on. That's not a time. No! She looks way better on the trip. Mulan Rouge, that was one of your first... Have you ever been on a trapeze, Jimmy? You got to do it. When I interview you, I feel like I'm on a trapeze. I'm like, who's there yet? No, we're going to go now. No, I've never done that. I can never do that. I can't do that and look. Couldn't wear diamonds and go on it. And look as cool as you look. No, I can't do any of this stuff. But what did it make you do in Mulan Rouge? That was a risky movie when it first came out, because musicals weren't coming out in the theaters. Yes, crazy, actually. That was 25 years ago. Is that right? Yeah. What was it? Was it Baz? Baz, Laura, and actually, sold me in the play, the Blue Room. It shows you you never know where your next job is going to come from.

Yeah. And I was doing it on stage and he sent me a dozen red roses and said, she sings, she dances, she dies. Do you want to play the role? She sings, she dances, she dies. Okay, I guess. I'm intrigued. Yeah, I'm intrigued. Yeah, you knocked it out the park. Let's talk about practical magic, too. This is...it's happening. It's out. Today. It's in theaters right now. Go see it. Go see it. It's so good. It's so fun. The sequel to practical magic. I mean, did you know that people love this movie so much? Well, when it came out, it was sort of not received in the best. I mean, there was a core following for it, but it was just one of those things that never happens in the film industry, where films usually kind of come out and if they're not huge successes, they die. Yeah. But this one found its audience through, I think, social media and people just, you know, the witches out there. Yeah, exactly. People are psyched, it's really good.

I would have had magic. And when... I would have had magic. And when I found this film, and then sort of so many people, and then I had a girl who came and worked for me who was a super fan. And that was one of her one request, is that I make the sequel to practical magic. It's really... She's amazing. She still works with me, so. And it's you, getting the whole team back together, Sandra Bullock. Yeah, yeah, Sandra Bullock. Sandy, my sister, my soul sister. You guys are the best chemistry. I know. We do. You do? Yeah, yeah. We're like oil and water, because we're so different. Like, I love going out, and I love being in the world. She's much more like, I want to stay home. So we somehow manage to. But because we have that kind of... I think it's just years and years and years of friendship and knowing each other. And we've both been through a lot. Yeah. But it's just quite... But you guys go out, you go out, that's you, show up. We're out last night. Come on. You gotta go out. Yeah. But I... There were no photos of... Well, yeah, well, yeah. But it's... Maybe there was some coming in, but not coming out, so. LAUGHTER

You go out, Jimmy, still? Oh, yeah, my God. Really? I go clubbing every night. I mean, I can't... Are you kidding me? I'm constantly hearing the beat in my head. I can't get enough, man. I don't know what I would do. Have you been to a beefer? Yeah. No. No. A beefer? Yeah. I'm pretty good for now, so. A beefer? A beefer. Oh, a beefer? No, I'm not. It's like, you've never heard of it. I've heard of it, but I just... Oh, good. You look shocked. Well, I just feel like I would not fit in there, would I? Oh, really? Hey, babe. What do we do in a beefer? Dance. Oh, I like to dance. Go out to a rave. You go out to rave? Yes. The cold kidman? Yes. Does anyone here go? Yeah. Yeah, they're really present there. But do you go out as you... Do you go out as you... Do you have work at the studio? I got to... I have a way in my cover. I did an interview where I said, I do wear a little black wig or some sort of disguise and I go out. Yeah. So, I'll have to wear something different, but yeah. No way. Yeah.

I will totally do that with you, yeah. No way. You don't have to do it with me, I'm just... It's just... Or, I could. I mean, you have to... This isn't a fun thing you do together and just debar and that's all. I mean, you're always going out with Sandeel's time. I'm just talking. I've heard it go out. It feeds up. Maybe you could. I'm definitely in. Yeah, absolutely. Without a doubt, I would totally go. I'd be so embarrassing. I don't know how to dance. I remember I went to... I'll go and see Adele about. She's playing. I think she's playing here. She's coming up... September 18. She's coming to our show. Oh, is she? Yes. Yes, she's coming up. She's... Oh, I was gonna ask you, because in the movie, your characters are very... Your witches. So, are you superstitious at all? Do you ever have any... Any magical things happening in your... I have a thing in my family where my grandmother and my mother, when they were pissed off with someone or angry. Or someone was in their bad books.

They would write their name on a piece of paper and put them in the freezer. LAUGHTER Wait, you know that? Someone out there does that? Is that a thing? Well, it was a thing in our family. Wow. I've been known to do it. You were in the freezer. Oh, stop going to the... Never in your life was I in the freezer. You kidding me? You're out of the freezer now. I'm out now. OK, oh my god. I would never be in your freezer. Oh, please. Oh my god. Have you had anyone else do the freezer now? No, but that's wild. Kind of feels like... I'm Irish, so we just hold grudges. We don't even... Don't worry about the freezer. We just don't talk to the person. But you're just upfront about it. Yeah, even if the relatives don't care. Yeah, absolutely. It kind of feels good, though. Yeah, it's true. I think I got my frustration. Congrats on the movie. How do we set it up? Do we set up the movie at all? It's just a sequel to say, how do we do this? It's your job. I know it is my job. But I want you to do a little something. I know, but I'm sorry about that.

Yeah. Oh, sorry. But now, how do we set up this film now? This is years later. You have daughters. No, it's not nothing's written down there. No, no, no. That's true. That's right. It's you, Sandra Bullock. You have a great cast. I know, Diane. We see that. Yes, we have the aunts, Stockard and Diana back. And also, we're just so grateful, because the audiences have really, really supported us through this whole press tour and a buying tickets. And so we're very, very grateful to you all. Come on, I'm so glad. The one and only Nicole Kimner, everybody! Constable Magic Killers is here now. More tonight, I'm after the red finger-eyed, everybody. I need to taste the blood of trying to keep the... Wow. Come on, Nicole. Come on, Nicole. Come on, I'm here. And see everyone who's playing. Unless yes, is a Tony-nominated actor who stars in season two of The Paper, which is streaming now on Peacock.

You can also see him in the new movie, The Incomer, which hits theaters September 25th. Please welcome Dono Gleason. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Welcome to the show. Thanks for being here. And we know you're from Ireland, but you actually... You lived in New York for a while, right? I did. I did a play here when I was 22 years old. So, yeah, I came over here to do a play when I was just at a college. What do you remember about being in New York? Nothing. No, it was... We were young, 20... I was young. Yeah, and everyone was like, you must be living it up in New York. But I came over and one of the first things I saw was a cockroach, and I was like, I'm never leaving the apartment. And then I was afraid of getting cockroaches in the apartment. Like, the cockroach I saw was like, like, that big. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He had like a top hat and he came, he was huge. He smoked two hours. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He flicked his cigarette out, and I was like, so I didn't want them, so I had no food in the apartment. And then I was worried that I would lose my voice, so I had no air conditioning in the apartment,

because that's bad for your voice. So, and then I didn't want to talk to people during the day. Look, it's a sad story. Oh, my God, yeah, my God. Wow, you're not living it up at all. No, and then my... I was here for eight months, and my mother came over to visit, and she stayed in, like, the apartment, and I wouldn't let her have any food. LAUGHTER I was like, when you're under a myroof. No, no cockroach, though. I didn't think I'd be happy to do that. Did you have, like, a big apartment? It was the studio apartment. And your mom would stay there? Yeah. Don't ask where. No. Wait, my parents used to come. I had a studio apartment, and on Sarah's live, they would come, and they'd stay over my studio apartment. They would sleep in the bed. I would sleep in the floor. Oh, man. Oh, that's amazing, yeah. Yeah, and then after SNL, so I would be on the ground, but, you know, my mom would wake up around and she would call people, like, on the phone, and she'd be like, yeah, it was great chill last night. And it's a studio apartment. I mean, she's standing over me, frying bacon, and I'm like, Mom, you think I live in a giant, you know? I would have been like, Mom, where did the hell did you get that bacon?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The cockroaches are good, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Don, you're in giant movies. You're in Star Wars, you're in Harry Potter. I mean, these are giant, giant, big, franchise movies. Oh, yeah. I don't want to ask you about the films, so they know they're giant, they're fun, and all that stuff. But I want to ask you about the rides you're on. You're on so many amusement park rides. Yeah. I have more lines in the amusement park rides than I do in the movies. Oh, thank you. Yeah, yeah. Is it fun for you to go to a ride and see you, have you ever snuck in? It's crazy. Yeah. I mean, I went to the opening of the Harry Potter one, and that was amazing. But you're supposed to be there, because it's the opening. Yeah, of course. And I did not go to the opening of the Star Wars one, but I have quite a big part in the Star Wars one. You do? Yeah. And like my character's telling you what to do and where to go and all the rest of it, in his English accent, I can do an English accent, Jimmie, it's not a big deal. But I'm not making it a big deal. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You don't have to applaud. You don't have to applaud. Thank you. You're a strong to page.

You're a strong to page. That's what I was talking about. I've put it so cool, because there's all this, like, people playing stormtroopers on the ride. It's massive. Of course. And when I went, I kind of snuck in. And one of the stormtroopers came over and said it's good to see you under cover general. Yes. Like that when I was doing the ride. They stayed in the Harry Potter. They stayed in the Harry Potter. And when I was leaving, they all saluted me. It was amazing. Come on. They know how to do it. Yeah, I know. It's Disney's fantastic. And then if life couldn't get crazier and bigger, you ended up in Taylor Swift's video for Oprah like. Yeah. And... APPLAUSE Now, I heard that this came out of a talk show you were on Graham Norton. Yeah. I was on Graham Norton with all these amazing actors and Taylor. And she came on to talk about her album was about to come out. Yeah. And she had watched the paper that I'm in as prepped for the top, which is incredible. Like, that's just such diligence. And Killian Murphy was on as well. Yeah. And then he liked my dancing in the paper. And my character dances a lot. It's very stupid. And so I made a joke like, yeah,

I'm hoping to get in a Taylor Swift music video. And she made this face. Like, that's interesting. Wow. And we'll start a turn. Two weeks later, got a call that she wanted all of us and Graham Norton to be in her music video. And made it happen like two weeks after that. It was insane. That's how she did it. Yeah, I know. I thought she was amazing. She's amazing. APPLAUSE I will say you're dancing in the video is fantastic. Oh my god. Yes. So they only told me about the dance like two days before. And then her amazing choreographer, Mandy, spent all of the evening the night before, like teaching me what is a very simple dance. But it took so long. And you haven't known real sadness until you've seen an Irish man with red hair in his underpants. Well, no, that wasn't with Mandy. That was when I went back to the house. Sorry, yeah, different. It's frowning all night long. I was so terrified. But it worked out great. And I'm really proud of the video. Yeah, you did. Thank you so much. I also want to mention you have a new movie coming out

on September 25 called The Incomer. Can you tell us about that? Yeah. So I play a guy who works for the Scottish Council, a really shy guy, who's sent out to this remote island to evict these two people who they've found out have been living there. It's a brother and sister. And they've never met anybody from the mainland. They've only seen each other their whole lives. And they dress like birds. They're real weird. And so when I arrive on the island, they attack me and fall in love with me at the same time. They're like, they don't know what to do with this new person. And it's really heartfelt and funny and beautiful. And I'm really proud of it. Yeah, and you have it. I will say you have a fantastic perm in this movie. Yeah. That is a great hair. Thank you. That is a legit. Thank you. That is legit right there. Do you want to know what perm is short for? Yeah, it's permanent. Oh, I'm glad you knew that. I did not know that. It's a real hair. That's my real hair. Of course, it's my real hair. Oh, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Why worried I am by my real hair?

They told me you would grace permanent. They told me you would grow out in five weeks. I had it for five months. I don't look good with big, I look like Orphan Annie from the home. Oh, I had no one. It was terrible. Let's talk about the paper. Congratulations about on this show. Thank you. It's very well done. You're very funny in it. Thank you. The writing is great. It's produced by Greg Daniels, who also produced the office. And were you familiar with the office before you were? I mean, yes. Like the show, I'm so proud of the show. I think our season's like a lot. It's much funnier. It's more romantic. All the ensembles amazing. Like it's so good. Yeah. Greg is sort of the heart of the show. He got his Hollywood walk of fame today. Did he really? Yeah, yeah. So it's just absolutely. Congratulations. Yeah. I'm not there because I'm here. I'm so sorry. Yeah, yeah. But obviously, I loved the US office. Yeah. And actually, when I was in my first saw, when I was here when I was 22 in New York, I didn't have air conditioning.

I didn't have food in the fridge. But I had the new office DVD. Yeah, to talk about. I was watching this full circle. That was absolutely. You end up with those things. How can I own this when I can't even afford food? I could afford food. I'm sorry. I just didn't want the cockroaches. It's the cockroaches I just forgot. I forgot. You want to draw the cockroaches? Yeah, yeah. So now I'm working with Greg. How do we set up season two for the paper? So the end of season one, and my character is the editor of this newspaper. They won all these awards. Things went really well. And he's fighting the good fight for journalism. And then he works with this amazing journalist mayor. And they both realized they really like each other. They kissed at the end of season one. Right. But like, so all of his dreams come true. And that's not always a great thing. You got to manage your dreams. It's really hard. So he loves mayor. He loves the paper. But things get really messy, really fast. And so it's just the joy of the whole thing is seeing them try to work it out. It's really great. It's a great cast and it's super funny. It's unpeak-a-kits great. I'm glistened everybody.

Seen in two with a paper. It's streaming now on Geek-a. Stick around. I'm going to be a little bit of a taxi. Do you think we'll be on the same? I'm going to be a little bit of a taxi. Do you think we'll be on the same? I'm going to be a little bit of a taxi. Do you think we'll be on the same? I think we'll be on the same. Hi, guys. Two in the call. Kidmin. Donal glistened.
