We have lost three big team events in a row coming off the Solheim Cup. Solheim Cup was great to be talking a lot about that. And then the president's cup coming up.

We've got our very own Kevin Kizner's playing on the PGA tour. This week we've got AI alarm bells going off all over the place to more of a serious level than we've ever seen. Football's back. Great show today. We got a nice segment with the photos from Frankie and Ryan Richon plus hole in ones. All brought to you by Chevy, which is the heartbeat of America for a reason that's because they got something for everyone. The tracks, which brings together value and style the flexible equinox easily transitions from the office. Commutes to quick stops at the range and more and the spacious traverse features plenty of room for the crew. We love Chevy and they allow us to do this very fun show today. We do love Chevy wide range of topics. We also got Shane Lowry, a historic win at the Irish Open. I am out here. I'm like 10 minutes from Subonic. I will be driving a Chevy over to the golf course once we are done here. It's a great show and it's all brought to you and it's all provided by and it's all possible because of Chevrolet. Very cool to have Chevy as a partner, man. Just American iconic. That's one of the logos I've been seeing for about as long as I've been alive.

There's not a ton of logos that you can say. That's just been front and center of my life. I've probably seen it every single day that I've been alive. Chevy is one of them in fact that they sponsor and support our show. It's awesome. Go check them out. Go check out their entire lineup of Chevy's at Chevy.com. Once again, go check them out. Go check out that lineup, the heartbeat of America at Chevy.com. I've got a buddy who struggles with that shot. A lot of his names Frankie Barrierelli. So the guy's actually gave him a nickname of Buddy Nights because he always nice to the cops, the green. He's got a hundred. Now you've got to break 90. We appreciate what you guys do for Dolphins. We've been really cool. You're making it cool. We appreciate it. I was like, hey, Phil, you only fucking 29.99. He grabs 100. He's like, yeah, I won 90,000 at least yesterday. He goes, take 100 and go fuck yourself. What? What do you think? I'm saying a hobby. For play, Presidio Barstool sports. It is mid September.

We are back. We actually have the entire crew this time for now. We have Trent Ryan is sitting basically in a parking lot with just a very thin door between himself and parking spaces out in the Hamptons, which he's going to showcase right now. We had Kevin Kizner in the car in the last show and we decided he decided, nope, it's just better with that. And we had Alster back to be great show. What we do have the entire gang. We're back. We've got quite a bit to talk about. It is team golf season. The United States of America as a whole might be in peril with several Ls in a row that we're going to get to. We have Kevin Kizner playing in a second PGA tour of it of the season this week. It's very weak in Asheville, North Carolina. We're going to get to that football is back. We got breaking 85 is back. And the main story that I would like to get to before we arrived, we go through some administrative stuff is that AI is going to kill us all in the next couple of years. So none of it matters. Anyway, so we're going to get to a lot of that. We'd like to begin with a little administrative notes, the whole and one event.

I'm not sure if we still have tickets available or if that sold out right away, but go check that out. You can still, I'm sure it gets spectator of it tickets no matter what. So I think we do around a hundred bucks for full ticket where you participate around $40 or $50 for tickets to just come and expect that I remember the players championship. A bunch of folks came and did that down at the yard. Just bought tickets, had drinks, had some really nice or derves hung out, watched and then we kind of threw people out there at the end. A couple folks that maybe didn't buy it and to take 60 seconds worth of swing. So check out the whole and one event. We're going to be in the presence cup for pretty much most of the entire week. Kids is going to be there, you know, working all over the place. So check out the whole and one event. And then on the YouTube front, we've got breaking 85 back this week from Woodlock. Is that what we're looking at? Yes, it is. Yeah. Frank and I went back to Woodlock. We played there a year ago. The great spot, Frank, he's been going there a lot since he was a kid. I know he started going there again as an adult with Frankie boy. Just a great location. It's like a couple hours out of the city and you just go up there, a great spot.

One of the great spots in the country. It's just a very nice, relaxing place to go. And they've got a great golf course. And the last time we were there, I shot a 41 on the front. So it's a place that I can play well at. And yeah, we tried to break 85 again. It was really fun. I just really like that place. It's a very relaxing sort of chill spot that we go and visit and play golf. And the breaking 85 episode is a good one. They've also, yeah, they just got a great staff there. It's very much like just a family up there. And obviously, a family owns it. The Woodlock hole like crew has been there forever. But there's just something about it that when you get there, the team that we work with John and Rory, they're just so appreciative of us just being on their property and showing off what they have. And it's one of those places that, yeah, it's a really just special location. And they're actually building this new facility. And they were telling us the story about it. But I saw I come across my desk a couple weeks ago.

They're building this outrageous, they have these little lakes and ponds and stuff. And they have this property getting built. And I'm like, wow, what is this? Are you guys building another spa? And what it was is, what it is is, it's like a cancer retreat for people that want to basically just live out their days and do the things that they want to do with their family, right? So it's like they're going to bring people there with a charity called for Pete's sake. And there's a whole story behind it. But they're basically going to host these families and they're going to give them the time of their lives. They're going to let them do whatever they want. They're going to go over. They're going to do all the activities on the other side of Woodlock. But then they're going to come back and they're going to have a five star resort. Oh, you can eat. All you can do, all this stuff. It's just going to be like completely set out for them because they've been doing that already. They've been hosting all of these families, basically knocking things off of their bucket list.

And now they're dedicating an actual resort to it. And it's going to be the first of its kind. And it's like, it's really, it's a moving story and the reason that they're doing this, is one of the family members of the Woodlock family actually had like a diagnosis that was like, you know, you're only going to the last six months or whatever it was. And now it's been 25 years that he's been around and just like absolutely thriving. And he wanted to be able to give back. And there's a million stories of like people going to Woodlock and and it being this place that like they found so much peace and just tranquility and family. And it's just it's the ultimate spot for that. So I'm probably butchering exactly what that story is and what that facility is going to be. But I think it's just gives you a place it is. It's really an amazing spot. And on top of all that, on top of all that, on all time world class golf course. So we do a breaking 85 and it's a hell of a hell of an episode. Trent Ryan's playing some golf. I don't know what the hell kids did to him up in the mountains, but he is stroking the

golf ball. He's rolling the rock dude. These putts are real. They're real putts. We've got a chance every time he rolls the rock. And we had to do another FaceTime ruling on this breaking 85 as well. This is like three videos in a row on our YouTube channel that I've looked down at my phone not knowing anybody was filming and saw FaceTime from one of you three. So this is starting to be a trend here. We're getting a lot of rulings after people think I'm a professional rules official, which I'm not. I did nail this one for Frank. This one was really important and it was obviously an easy rules discussion. I knew the answer to this. I just wanted to make sure when you're doing something as big as breaking 85 and every single stroke count, you have to go by the book. I'll tell people what it was. Essentially, I hit one onto the green. Trent was on the on the fringe and he putt one or was it a chip? No, it was a chip. So he chipped on and it had some heat on it. I didn't mark my ball yet and it just blasted my golf ball and stayed to like six feet

from the stick. Mine went flying. So we're like, hold on. Like I'm pretty sure you get to leave your ball there and I just move mine back. But that's like a cheat code right there because that thing was going to be in the bunker. We're making a seven. Now we've got to put for par. So we face time Kevin Kizner and it was a big moment. And then my son was in the truck rigs and we can hung up and he goes, Dad, was that Scotty Shephler playing with Trent? Okay. All right, Frankie. Let's go. That's a nice. He's swinging golf clothes. It's not like he thought that. He just thought like my face was got his chef there. But you know, that is, you know, that exact situation has driven many a golf Twitter account owners insane over the last six or seven years of backstopping and them just losing their minds over it when it happened. So forward to having a break. And then you find this beautiful because like when you're out there as his buddy, Frankie, you should be backstopping your ass off all day. Keep shipping in there. For that. Climbing it over there behind his ball.

Yeah. He was, he hit one, Frankie hit one out of the bunker. So he was raking the bunker and we're trying to play fast. So he was like, just go. So I went and then yeah, my ball hit his and it is what it is. Incredible. Kiz, I think you're great rules of fish hunting people from the internet and the T-Schnall are really going to love it. I was laughing at, I don't know which day it was exactly, but there was one day where like every time I saw you were driving in a different direction and you're like, I've never heard of something that's got 11 rules issues in one hour. You drive it all over the place. Yeah. That'll be a fascinating watch when it comes out because it would go in waves, man. I didn't know my way around that course, but man, it'd be like 12, 14 and my phone's ringing the whole time. We got to get some radios or something next year and then. Yeah. That is having to go to every ruling with me and we just collide at all over this golf course at the same time. It's going to be an awesome watch. We got to get walkie talkies. Like walkie talkies didn't come back. I had a buddy who like is a part of the ski trip group from my college friends that he was

always a walkie talkie guy and still brings him to like ski trips where he brings like six walkie talkies. It's amazing how much better walkie talkies are with that kind of setting. So as you're serious, a walkie talkie that you can talk to someone from anywhere. I'm talking. It's like a satellite one, right? Dude, he was talking to his son on a plane once. That's I don't know you can do that anywhere for any reason. I also was flying with Thomas Rhett, the musician not too long ago and he answered a phone call on their plane. Do you all know that? No. Face time audio with the Wi-Fi. I just looked over and he's just chatting away on his phone and I thought he was doing a voice memo. Now, he's just on phone call. I don't think we I don't want people to know that because I don't want people on phone calls on airplanes anymore because even as we're about to take off when there's people on a on a phone call, they're just yelling and I don't need that. It's kind of like it's nice and tranquil. It's a bit like woodlock when you're in the sky because you don't have to deal with people

on their phone yelling at each other. I do think they make an announcement that it's illegal to do that. Yeah, I should know. We weren't on a plane where it's illegal. That's true. Yeah, it should be heavily illegal. Kids, I'm always curious with the rules. What was the what was sort of the line that you would choose to bring in a rules official or not? Because I feel like when I watch a lot of golf, especially when they get to the final groups, so they're going to show the main people. It'll be a pretty obvious ruling and they bring the rules official in and I've always thought that gets a little ridiculous. It's like it's a cart path or something and they're just like an obvious drop that everybody takes and they bring the rules official. Well, I think there's two things to that. Guys, knowing that they're on TV, so everybody's a little worried since some sky-sitting on his couch may see something you don't do exactly correct and call you in and it could affect something in your career. If you just see a rules official, there's so many around and a lot of times you see where

they're sitting. If they're close by, you just wave them over. Most of the time, if you and your playing partners can figure it out and it's not a big deal, you just move along and do it. If there's anything complicated to it, guys call rules official. It's just not worth it. At that level and playing for that much money and points and you mess one thing up and it could be the difference between keeping your card or getting into the next playoff event or getting into another major. There's so many things on the line all the time. Even if the rules official screws it up, it doesn't matter. That's the best part. Bring them in and he doesn't get it right. They can't do anything about you. It exonerates you. Yeah, it's not a go. Yeah. Immunity. You bring in immunity basically. Correct. Right. Yeah. I just wasn't quite sure what percentage of what. Because I figured that most of the time there aren't rules officials brought in but whenever we would see it is a time when they would bring in rules official like you're saying because you're on TV otherwise I wouldn't be able to see it.

A lot of times you get the grandstands right close to the green and if you're in front of the grandstand it's one club link. There are two club links. If you're behind the grandstand it's the opposite. So you'll see that ruling a lot that that's why they're always calling guys in because it's so confusing. I can't remember right now which way it is. If you're behind the grandstands in your way you get either two club links or one club link or you go to the nearest point and you got to drop in the second club link and then the opposite if you're just swinging and hit the grandstand. So I always get confused on that one. Yeah. I always liked like the at the open championship they would do the circle like the the drop the circles and they would always be in like knee high rough. Right. I'd rather just hit the grandstand with my swing than drop it over there dude. Right. Like on the PGA tour it'd be like the nicest drop in the world. You get to move it basically anywhere with the perfect lie and then the open championship I go yeah. It's just one three foot wide pocket of like fescue this high.

Yeah. You can drop right here no problem. The communication with your your buddy kids and old redneck slang in those European rules officials was just quite amusing like do we I'll never forget do we even be an embarrassed for the way I talked to them because they can't understand what I'm saying. They don't understand my lingo and then I'm just so I rate at the way that I'm getting treated. I'll never forget playing the open championship at wherever Bill and Henrik battled it out right like under the sun beautiful skies. Well that open particular open championship I think that's true. I think it was true. It was just the shittiest weather ever in the morning and I made the cut on the number and it's blowing 40 and raining sideways at 8 a.m. and then at 2 p.m. every day the sun came out and it was 70 degrees and no wind. And I'm on 18 and the pins in the back on Saturday or Sunday and it is pouring sideways and I just laced this three iron right at the flag and as soon as I hit it I just grabbed the umbrella and start walking in this British rules officials like um Mr. Kizna you

would need to play again from here and I was like to what and he said your ball has gone out of bounds and I I just lost it could not figure out I just hit the best three iron in my life at the flag there's no out of bound what are you talking about there's out of bounds. This particular course off the back of the green is a walkway next to the clubhouse and it's 15 feet from the back edge of the green and they called this rock walkway out of bounds. So my three iron has skidded off the wet green ran up this incline and sitting 20 feet from the hole in these rocks and he's telling me it's out of bounds and I didn't think I was going to finish I didn't think we were going to actually finish that whole I was telling him to call the entire RNA staff out there in the rain so they could see what I was playing in and to come out here and tell me how I said I could kick this freaking ball in the hole and you're telling me it's out of bounds. Oh, brutal. Crazy too that like you guys weren't I mean I'm sure at some point in some fun print you

were notified of that but like to not know that when you're swinging that's interesting as well. You're also not planning on hitting three iron into that hole because it's not that hard of a hole and it was pouring sideways and blowing 40 but of course my my man do he had knew it was out of bounds but he wasn't slowing me down any. No, but you couldn't see where the ball went that was the problem. It was so nasty like I just hit the balls going towards the flag I get the umbrella start walking can't wait to get the hell out of there and he's telling me I have to go back and hit another one 200 yards straight into the wind insane. I like like do he knows it's out of bounds and then you look at him and he's like I can't believe it pro let's unbelievable. We had a whole meeting about it like on Wednesday. He probably told me about it when we're in the practice rounds but I in that moment you're in the middle of the competition. I'm not I'm not here in that. I literally could have kicked this ball two feet from where it was resting and it would just roll down the sill right next to the hole. Oh, brutal.

How are we feeling this week, kids? I mean, you're actually playing, you know, it's Monday we're recording you're playing Thursday, PJ tour event, Asheville is a full FedEx Cup event. The built more what's what's our guy Kevin Kizner status where yeah. But I did my typical I'm going to practice really hard leading up to finally playing. So I tried to come about 90 days of practice in the three and now wake up sore all over and as I practice more I started hitting it worse. So loaded down with confidence to go up there. I've found that in my retirement age that just playing twice a week and having some sun cruisers is a lot easier on your body and your mental state than trying to grind for a tour event. Yeah, yeah, you're trying to study for the test. You're trying to do the whole semester's worth in about two nights. You know, just go on. All the hiders you'd be ready to go. It's 180 degrees in a can South Carolina still somehow we have not gotten one break of the heat and you just dying out there with gnats in your eyes and sweat and I'm just miserable. So other than that it's great man.

What's the show I can still put I can still put the shoulder is the weirdest thing man. I cannot figure it out. I'm going to see my trainer today. He's actually driving over to meet me. It doesn't affect my swing that I can tell like it's not painful to strike but as soon as I wake up in the mornings I take me two hours to make it feel like it can move. I don't know. I don't know. I think you showed her expert docs out there. I've got an MRI. I only see like small tears and one of the little thing of the word or what those little things are but yeah, I don't know. Maybe it's just playing off too long. It could be it. Yeah. A long time. I mean, it's the golf career is a laughable thing. I know we've spoken about it but like most professional sports, the lifespan of like an athlete is less than like five years in the professional sport. You know, maybe if you do a really incredible career, it's like nine or 10 years and if you have a whole fame career, you know, you're out there for like 15 and you guys are out there

for like 50 if you include the champion store or at least on the PGA towards like 20, 25, you know, you've been doing it for 20 less years. 20s, you've been out there. 20 years. Yeah. I think it's just your 15 or 16 on tour. So 20 years, 15 I think on tour. Crazy. Crazy. Yeah. It's just a long long ass time to be doing it. It really gives you a lot of respect for anybody that's like older and any sport but it makes me think a lot of our guy like Tiger Woods and those those do when he would talk about getting up six hours before his seven AMG time and go out and prepare his body to play like his body's been through more than years kids and like, they're out there trying to get it ready and revving it up and all of it to play golf and then come back and win the way he did six, seven years ago. It's pretty insane. So, uh, so yeah, that's a bummer. I'm sad to hear about the shoulder. Oh, it's all good, man. I can still hit it. Uh, I'm excited to get up there though. I, you know, I've got a mountain house.

Trent came to it not too far from where we're playing and I've never played this golf course before. So excited to go check it out. I did see this morning that Justin Thomas withdrew. He was going to play. So that's a bummer. I'm going to hang out with him, get a little feel for the president's cup from him because, you know, the US has taken some Ls like you mentioned in the intro. So there's a massive weight in my opinion on team USA to reverse this trend next week. So no, I don't think any US president's cup team members are playing. Is Jackson Coivin playing? And he told us he was going to play, but I didn't see him on the list. Um, let's look in this field right now. I actually just pulled this up. I think a bunch of the international teams playing, but not US. I was, I was trying to check into that. Y'all have me up so early doing this podcast. I think it says he is playing, but okay. I think it says he is playing. All right. Good. Yeah.

That'd be good. I mean, I remember going into what was it? The rider cup and like, not the last one, but the last one they all played, uh, they all played Napa. Remember? Yeah. Like Scotty on that one, they was kind of a response to two years prior, like nobody played for four or five weeks leading up to the rider cup in Rome. And a lot of people were kind of talking about that. Um, to your point, kids coming off the Soulheim Cup. We're going to talk quite a bit about that. But, uh, boy, do we need a W on home soil in the president's cup coming up in a couple weeks, the United States of America team golf. We are on the Schneid a little bit right now. Um, the Soulheim Cup was awesome. I want to give that its flowers. Um, the Europeans ended up winning 15 to 13. There were some just incredible heroics to end the day on Friday, largely on the European side and then on Saturday. Um, Jennifer Cupcho made a 91 footer on the 17th hole that go from one down to tied.

All the other matches were done. It was looking like Europe was going to have a two point lead going into singles. Um, they ended up flipping that match with her 91 footer on the 17th hole and then a 29 footer on the 18th hole that go from one down to one up, win that match, square things up going into Sunday singles. I think it was eight to eight going into Sunday singles. Um, the United States had won a couple years ago at the Soulheim Cup and then Europe had won, I think, Rean a row leading up to that. So it was huge for the US on foreign soil, European soil to get to that point. Um, then sort of what happened after that and keep in mind, like, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, you know, I was the 91 footer was one of the most shocking things I've ever seen. Just 91 feet. I mean, you make a 30 or 40 footer. That's an outrageous thing to do and like a month of playing golf or to make a 91 footer on that stage. Absolutely nuts. Everybody watching because most of the other matches are all the other matches were done. And then a 29 footer looked like a joke, like a 29 footer, kids. How many 29 footers do you make in a, in a turret on the PGA tour?

Hopefully more than one. That's about it. It just doesn't, it doesn't really happen. So she makes the 91, then she makes a 29 footer on the last, um, to flip things. People are going nuts. Um, then, you know, we can get into a little controversy, uh, optics, the US team on the bus afterwards. They, they film and put out a video, you know, themselves had to, because there's somebody on the bus of beers on the bus. The teams going nuts to celebrate and like they won the Soul Heimk Cup. Uh, and a lot of people gave him shit for that. And they come out and just get absolutely dusted in the first five, six matches to kick off Sunday singles yesterday ended up, um, the score being 15, 13, but it really didn't look like it was going to be very close coming down the stretch for most of the day. And Europe ends up winning 15, 13, um, Angela Sanford, who's the captain of the team USA. Um, she went out and said on the whole drinking beers thing afterwards. She said, that's kind of a tricky situation because you don't ever want to take away

from that moment, um, which is very fair. Um, it's a fine line show, uh, allowing for justified exuberance without letting matters get out of hand is what somebody else wrote. And then she said the worst thing I could have done is go in there and be like, okay, you all come off of this high, uh, you don't want to take away from these moments. We're never going to see like that again. So it is a little bit of like a tricky spot. Um, I think the optics are fine. If you go out and win on Sunday, you go out and lose on Sunday, the optics obviously aren't quite as good. Um, but, you know, kind of a bit to talk about there. Uh, Europe wins 15, 13, that comes on the backs of the Walker Cup, the biggest comeback in Walker Cup history a couple of weeks ago. Uh, and Europe winning for the first time since like 2015, I think that number was. Uh, and then obviously the Europeans winning at Beth Page last year, uh, the US just kind of needs a win, gentlemen. Yeah, I'd definitely think they need a win. I'd noticed, uh, with the women yesterday, they weren't making a lot of pots over there, uh, look like everybody was leaving pots short normally, green speeds over there or a

little bit slower than what we're accustomed to. Um, from the team perspective on Saturday night, it's such a hard thing to know what to do in that position as the captain, you know, they're having fun. Everybody's on a high. You got a long, long night arrest because you don't go early the next day. So plenty of time to recover for everyone. You know, it's not like there's a team that they're all under contract. That's what I, uh, it's not like the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers and you all work for me. It's a team collective of, we're all here for the same reason. It's not like I can fire you for whatever you do and you have to listen to me. It's just a collective of, of peers on one team. So you can't go running down the bus yelling at people for having a beer being excited when it was a great moment. Uh, you have to trust that you picked the team that, uh, you are letting these individual contractors do what's best and what they think's best for them to prepare and perform the next day. And obviously they thought they were doing the right thing. I didn't get to see the video, but I'm sure they weren't just shotgunning beers all the way through all night and,

uh, staying up till 4 a.m. before the last round of the Soul Hiding Cup. So, uh, I would imagine it was just a low key play on, on the team vibe going back to the hotel where everybody's relaxed and chilled and, and excited about going into Sunday. Now they didn't perform on Sunday and it kind of dropped on their face. But, at the end of the day, it's not like Angela can walk down the bus screaming at people because that's not going to do any good either. I don't think I would put anything out in terms of like content. Correct. I think that's kind of where you get burned. You're certainly allowed to celebrate big puts and big turnarounds and big moments. I think if you put it out there and you're like, yeah, you're on Twitter, you're on X, you're on Instagram being like, this is huge going crazy. Then I think you start to get into some tough waters. You're on a win in the next day like Rick said it doesn't matter because then you can drink beers every single night if you win and people are going to be like that was awesome. But if you then end up losing, there's going to be some revisionist history on like, well, you guys party on Saturday. We're going to end up party on Sunday.

That would be my only gripe with it. I'm fine with, I have no problem having beers after a big moment on Saturday. I think you let it get out there and you open yourself up to some criticism for sure. Anytime you put anything on the internet, you're going to get negative responses. That's true. Yesterday I put up a video opening a box in front of Frankie boy and I had people message me that I shouldn't be cutting things in front of him or towards him and stuff. And just, you know, it just makes you think like, what are we doing here? Why did I put up anything? It just makes you shake your head and kind of move on with your day. But yeah, no, and also whenever I hear beers now, I just think of that guy, Rocky beers on Oklahoma, the tight end that was planning against Michigan. Just what an absolute powerhouse of a football name. His name is Rocky beers and he's number 81 on the Oklahoma Sooners just playing tight end football. That the back of that shirt that says beers 81 is one of the coolest things I've ever seen in my entire life. Oh, they're going to be wearing that around Oklahoma for the next 100 years. People are going to have beers. And I know he transferred in. I don't know where he came from, but you just got to think this guy's been just a legendary just a just racks up all the jersey.

Like records that you could possibly come up with in every single school that he attends beers. Just be Rocky beers. Yeah, so I totally agree with you guys just can't put it out early just for the optics. It's just a world we live in, but it goes back to what we talked about with kids like maybe in his first episode here with four play. When he when he when he joined the ship is is enjoying the moments while you're in them as a professional golfer. So, you know, how many soulheim cups are they going to be on? How many times are you going to see a 90 foot pucco? And how many times are you going to flip the match like that? Go away? Like these are just moments you're supposed to celebrate and live in the moment and and not just act like you've been there before and just be quiet. And because then when you're 50, 60 years old and you're looking back, yeah, those moments definitely live on and video and they live on your mind and you act it all cool in the moment. But like dude, like just go celebrate. We only get one chance at this whole life thing. Let's just go have fun and be happy and create memories. It's just I don't know. Maybe it's just I'm getting older.

But like to me, that's that's really all that Matt. It's like it's the coolest part of being a part of that team. Yes, I have absolutely no issue with it whatsoever. I'm not going to sit here and act like I don't get that the optics and that I don't get that you're going to get some heat, especially if you end up losing the Europeans and the European fans are going to flip it on your face. Still completely worth it. Otherwise, what are we doing here? What's the point of any of it? Have fun. Enjoy it. I also really don't think that a beer or two on Saturday evening when you're so wired from the excitement, you're going to be up at night staring at the ceiling. Anyways, is going to be an issue. Have a damn beer. Have a couple beers. You're going to be up for another three or four hours. Who cares? Now if you're shotgun and beers like Kizza saying you're going to the night clubs and you're up till four in the morning and you go out and you get your ass kicked. It's a totally different story, but I think you have a beer to you're celebrating on the bus. It's so easy for some miserable fuck to be sitting on their couch doing absolutely nothing being sad and pointing their finger and on hips being like, look at these irresponsible people that want anything yet.

You have no idea what it's like to be in that moment. Like Kizza saying all the emotional release being a part of that team and joining it, firing everybody up, captain being like, I'm not going to bring everybody off the high completely agree with that and live it. Like I think if anything, that's going to make you more likely to play better on Sunday is that you enjoyed the hell out of that moment, keeping everybody loose, having a good time. So I have no issues with it. I get the optics. I think the European fans are fully within their right to be kind of shoving it down the American team and fans throats at the end of it. I also like I think if you could do it over again, just don't put the video out a had to come from somebody inside the circle because they're on the bus. But I would also say, you know, I think it's easier for the rider cup, you know, players to not put stuff out because they get, you know, they get the most amount of attention in the world at golf already anyways. I get it from the women's perspective of, you know, women's golf doesn't get the flowers that it deserves. They don't get the attention that they deserve that often in the Soulheim Cup week is the week where they could really make waves.

There's nothing going on on the PGA tour. There's a DP world tour event. But otherwise, this is like the stage is about as available as it ever gets for them and they want to put stuff out throughout the entire week. They want to drum up this opportunity to get shine on the US team on the European team on the whole game and event as a whole. So I understand that their instinct and whoever was behind the video is social media person for team USA. If it was a, if it was a caddy, if it was somebody from the team, whoever the hell it was, I think their mindset throughout the whole week is like, let's showcase this opportunity while we have it. So I get it from that standpoint too. But if you could do it over again, I would say probably enjoy the hell out of that moment. I have zero issues with it and the internet sucks. So you probably just be at a better spot if you didn't put that video out. Overall, winning takes care of everything if they would have won on Sunday that you know, it would have been fine. Like I said, it was close. The singles matches, anything can happen. There's so many points on the table. And it really came down to like Carlota, Segonda, every time I've been a golf fan, I feel like and I've turned on the soul. I'm cup. She's just kicking Americans ass in the soul. I'm cup. I don't know how old she is. I don't know. She just continues to absolutely dust the Americans in the soul. I cup. And she said it afterwards.

Her press conference last day I was watching and she played against Jennifer Cup Show coming off the Saturday rally that we talked about. And she was great. She gave her her credit and was humble. And then at the end, you know, she said like she's such a great player that moment she had, she went on and on Saturday was just amazing and to pull that off. And she's like, but I knew she had zero chance today. She said it. She went out and beat her like four and two to seal up the soul. I'm cup. So that was incredible. And then one of the main things that Angela Sanford said that I saw. She said, if you listen to everything I've ever said, Europeans always put better. I don't know why I still don't know why. I mean, I have a good idea, but I'm not going to say it right now. So she has a track record of saying, Europeans just put better. I'm not sure if she specifically talking about the soul. I'm cup. I'm sure she is, but you could extrapolate that out, you know, to get to the rider cup as well. And and it's kind of was our big takeaway kids from Beth page last year, which is like if you go through the data, you know, people could bitch about the pairings. They can bitch about the lineup. They can bitch about strategy, but like United States team at the rider cup last year.

The ball closer and the Europeans just made more puts and it's like, how do you, how do you comb through all of the camaraderie stuff and the dinners in March and be like, how do we do all of it to just make our team make more puts that they did what what what what what do we do. I don't know we need to get her on the show to see if she'll divulge her secret. I'd love to know what that secret is. I mean, that is just a cliffhanger for me. I was waiting on you to tell me exactly why she thought they thought that it didn't work out. What I saw is the American women were just more timid on their on their putting throughout Sunday. Every putt it seemed that they had to make was short coming down the stretch. The first girl out making king had to make a few putts coming down the stretch and just could not get a putt at all even the announcers were talking about it. Morgan Presswell was talking about it. So it was obviously a theme throughout the week. I really don't know what happens with the putting. I don't I really don't know. You load them up with great putters and if they don't put well you look crazy. You load them up with great ball strikers and they don't put well. It's like well, of course we loaded them up with great ball strikers.

It seems to be any more special in the inside. It doesn't really matter. Our team is good at everything because we've got 12 of the best players in the world going at it. They don't have really a weak spot. Just got to find a way to get the momentum going. But when you watch the other side make so many you put more pressure on yourself to make them right and then you try to be someone you're not when. If I'm playing with two other tour players and a tour of them are making everything and I'm not I am trying my ass off to start making putts with them because I feel like it's something's going on. So that that pressure times a million in a team event becomes more difficult. I was on a show last night they were asking the same question about why. Why is the putting more difficult it's something like when I was on cup teams. I was there because I was a good putter and then I put more pressure on myself to make putts when I was on a cup team. Then on any other time and then I noticed I wasn't making as many putts because I was trying harder than I normally do. And I'm not sure if that's the theory she has but that's what I see is just we know we have to make putts. It's kind of like knowing what you have to do before you go into any sport and then you just can't do it because that's all you put your focus on instead of just playing the game like we always do.

Such a good point man. It is like yeah when you're the guy that's made but like in the whole moment comes down to the one thing by the way that is like. Finite engulf right like if you're the guy that drives the ball you could stand up on a tee and just like send it hit it really far and it's like you miss the fairway it's not the end all be all your parts what you're supposed to do if you're the driver and bomber can hit a fucking wedge or can hit an iron and save you or whatever like if you're like they're like okay we've done all the work everyone's hit the ball everyone's picked the teams everyone's got the uniforms now Kevin Kizner this 11 foot putt just like has to go in the hole so go do your thing here that's the whole reason you're here it's all right here just go tap that 11 footer in the breaks 12 inches it's not a big deal dude I'll never forget at Liberty National the first my first cup team I play with Phil and I don't know if I've told the story on this podcast or not yet this year but we're going along and we had set the alternate shot up to where I'm going to do most of the putting he's going to hit the wedges I'm going to tee off because I was driving it great at that time he was driving it awful and so we set the course to where he hit most of the

approach shots and I did all the putting and after six or eight holes I have not made a putt I made a putt on the first hole and then did not make any putt you know in the eight to 15 foot range he had a lot of great shots and I've left like one or two short and he grabbed me off the seventh or eighth green and he putt it on me he goes Kiz do not leave another putt short he said if you knock him five feet by it might take me some time but I will make every one of those mother fuckers so knock it by the hole and I it was a light ball moment for me and dude I started wrecking these balls they were lipping out and going four feet by and you could see him I got better make it I told him I'd make every one of them and he did so I kind of took the pressure off of me I think that's why we played together the whole weekend is because now I felt comfortable and now this this older guy is having a grind on these four footers all week but it but it worked out and he made every single one of him he took forever on these four footers I'm talking about two minutes he was working on these things but he made them all and he he he said it in my older age it takes me a little longer to get to where I know I'm going to make

them so just bear with me and I said dude I'll stay out here all day if you make them so we it's it's kind of a nice moment and I I never forget using that line you know in in 22 playing with Cam Young and playing with Tony Fina who weren't then known as the best butters and I told him to just wreck these balls I'll make every one of these coming back on these perfect from you to greens and it really takes a little bit of pressure off of you. That's huge that's so cool that's great to hear from your partner too because that's like the one person you don't want to let down is your partner. Yeah and it's like I just think of that clip a tiger and fill playing together where like they both just looked mad at each other the whole time. I was like you know Phil hits it off the planet he's up by like a fence and like tigers looking at the ball like how am I going to hit this and Phil's looking at it like boy I feel real shooting that I left here instead of that mindset with you and Phil just like I don't give a fuck what you leave me I'm going to make it so try to make your butts is easy up the whole day. It did it did and we we had a great record after that I finally started making some puts and the Americans going to have to do that

and they're just going to have to get rolling you know with this vibe of a couple of I don't know if they were all upsets but Walker Cup and so on cup you know I think it's going to be a big key for the Americans to get off to a good start next week and get the momentum on their side and we'll do a lot more on that pod on this pod about that preview but that's my early take is the early matches are going to be huge if the international get hot you know that whole way to get heavier. What kind of metronome you work with with putting what's what's your tempo 67 it's the only tempo is not mine yours anybody else is it's the only. Interesting I was trying to mess around with some really slow putting this week it weeks weekend when you think about that just put it on 67. It's crazy because you know it doesn't really matter it's a two to one ratio backstruck for stroke no matter what. So your your four strokes would be half your your back stroke. Now what about that clip I thought you're half your back stroke what about that from from backstruck to strike right.

And the perfect ratio according to the numbers is 0.6 to 0.3 now you look at like brand snotiker he's he's half but he's probably 0.5 to 0.25 or 0.4 to 0.2. I haven't looked at numbers but I do know that he's exactly half just like you're supposed to be what he's just faster. Okay. What's crazy is if you put it on 67 it doesn't matter if you're in a three footer or 90 footer you still should be that's just how much more energy you have on the back stroke just speed it up. So that's start to put to contact. Wow that's slow. Yeah. Yeah, feel slow. He's probably not having on 67. I have a 67 I got it. I'm a drummer I got a metronome app. Which is why you like tempo so bad metronome pro. So you can change it to like you say yeah for so for a three footer or 90 footer it's the same you're saying.

I kind of blew my mind when I learned that many years ago. I just blew my mind just now. Okay good. Yeah I saw a very good clip on social last night that was showcasing Patrick Cantlay and Cam Smith's putting. And it was showing that like they don't accelerate like people think that they accelerate. It was basically like they go almost constipation. Yeah exactly like this Patrick Cantlay has a very long stroke. And it almost like to people it appears like he's like decelerating a doubt is decelerating but. It was showcasing that like people that go and really are taught or try to accelerate through the ball. How like impossible their speed control is from there. Yeah face control too you know if you have sudden acceleration just the physics of it to keep it stable. You know if you just move something slow and then fast how do you keep the face from not opening or shutting. The constant constant acceleration throughout lets the face be more stable.

Right. I make sense. She's a Tiger Woods video of him at Liberty National a couple of years ago that keeps getting put up of him talking about putting to somebody. Ryan actually might have to pull this up but basically he was saying like. I act like the ball stops the putter. Yeah. I think I was there for that. That I didn't really understand that. He also does things where it's like he's saying things like that's what he's not doing. That's sort of what this social clip was saying yesterday where it was like you know if you look at these strokes from some of these guys. It almost like the putter looks like it stops like right after it hits the ball so they go way back and then hit the ball and it like only. It looks like it goes halfway as far forward as it did back on the back stroke. Well that said that said like weighted golf ball that you use. That's really heavy so you you learn how to just hit the ball in your putter can't move forward because the balls too heavy the ball doesn't really roll.

And that's what that's teaching you to so all the energies at impact. God if Trent and I ever use that thing we'd be blasting golf balls using a weighted bat. Yeah it's like a donut. On the practice putting green a woodlock just ripping up like hitting bowling balls and then all of a sudden getting on the first of all. Let me tell you something here's what we can't do. We can't start changing the weight of the ball. Because then I'm going to get real confused real fast and not realize what I'm doing. Even more so than I already am. So kids you agree with stop the ball at impact that's correct with putter stop the putter at impact stop the putter at impact like I said. No I don't agree like you can't physically make it stop but I don't agree with just like a feel right. The back stroke and the follow through have to be the same distance because you're hitting something so it's going to slow the putter head down. If that makes sense.

Yeah there's just no way to make the forward stroke as long as the back stroke. Here we go we got the Tiger Woods clip here. Putter head moves first just like in a golf swing. The body doesn't move first and the putter has this head moves first. So the putter head must move first. And then I believe the weight of the golf ball is what slows the putter down. So you're okay. So I accelerate all the way through but the way the putter actually slows it down so it looks like I'm punching it. Okay but you're saying the forward is less. Yes I'm just putting all the energy into the ball and the ball ends up slowing the putter head down. I see. Okay so you don't see you see some players have a fall through like that. Right. I don't understand that because I've always you know if you see a guy hit a punch up. His swing is going to be shorter on a fall through versus a guy hitting up on it and picking it. It's going to be a longer fall through. Well it's the same kind of concept.

If you have the weight of the ball stopping the putter head then the momentum is going to be slower on the front side. I mean the side kind of looked the same. So it looks like I'm punching it but this weight of this golf ball is just slowing this mess. That's all. It's talking to them like they're absolute children. I can't tell you how many times I've been that guy behind the camera being like yeah I get it. Yeah totally. I understand what you're saying. Especially with Tiger Woods. We've been lucky enough to be literally in that position when Tiger Woods is telling us how to hit certain golf shots. And it's just an absolute masterclass and making someone's brain turned to mashed potatoes. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. I get it. When we did it with him I tried to hit a ball out of the rough just like off the green he was trying to teach me how to do it. And I said yes a thousand times and then when I tried to execute I didn't do it right once. And at one point he was just like we got to move on. You ruined him trying to finish the whole actually that was like that was the day that we just like didn't finish the whole of us because we all just took too long.

Yep. He had me trying to hit like a pitching wedge over a bunker from like a 40 yard pitch shot and I just I think I hit it about a foot. I think my I think the ball went about a foot right in front of me. Is that a thought process we're supposed to be having with putting is feeling like a punch shot. Let's just getting the most energy out at contact. So anything post that that you really speed the putter up is just fake. It's not helping you at all. But I don't like the idea of punching it because then you're going to speed your transition up to try to get more energy out sooner. But I do like the shorter follow through than the backswing. That was the same thing I was basically saying before. Right. I clip up. Right. But if I told like Trent to punch this thing he's going to go back pretty slow and then speed up trying to get up. Right. I think he was saying. I don't think he was saying puncher. I think he was saying it might look like I'm punching it. Right. But he was like the thought is to yeah. I think you just dispelling the rumor that the backstroke and the Ford stroke after be the same link.

In Tiger terms. Tiger terms and his crazy brain. Stanford educated young man. Incredible. I think that's yeah. I just want him to just like talk about he'll never really do a podcast. I don't think. But like just having him sit down and talk for an hour about golf and then have us like jump in and try to figure out what he said. Would be just as fun. Because it's I feel like he says things in terms that he's the only one who knows what they are. And it's fascinating stuff. I would. Yeah. I would also really like to have Angela Stanford on the show and talk about what her secret for why she thinks the Europeans make more bucks than the Americans. I think you just that's like you just put the energy of that out there. Like I think if you we just started saying Americans make more puts. That's not going to have a it's not going to be effective right away. But I think you just got to put that in people's brains because especially if you don't have a reason for it. You're just like I you know I'm not going to give you the secret. The Europeans are probably like we just make more puts than the Americans.

And then that permeates. Yeah. You end up winning every single cup. Yeah. For sure. You know a lot of the chatter was about how the greens are slower and kids brought that up at the beginning that they're always slower. You know in Europe when you guys go over for the open what but like. I don't know that makes a ton of sense because on a week to week basis they're all playing the same golf courses. It's not you know like European soul time cup team doesn't live over there at that golf course and put on those. Greens all the time it's like they they play on the LPGA tour they go a week to week to the same greens that everybody else goes to. So it's like I just that parts never made a ton of sense to me of like oh yeah they're used to slower greens like other not they're used to the same speeds. That the PGA tour players of the LPGA tour but they are because they grew up on those greens because they put it on them for 20 years before they ever started playing on the LPGA tour. It's just like me and from you to compared to bit or Poana and vice versa West Coast East Coast guys. Remember Patrick Cantley at the presence cup at well hollow asking me for a putting less and on burp you know into grain cross grains the day of the first match because he was struggling with them because he just as a die putter on Poana.

Yeah I remember you talking about that with like he just doesn't have grain I know I just didn't understand why his ball it just you know barely limps in on Poana just gets destroyed at the very end on on for Muta. So you think that's still in there like just understanding the greens are slower from growing up playing well yeah I grow up used to playing greens that are nine or tens and then you know you go back to him it feels comfortable. Yeah I mean it must because they put it better than we did but then you go to Beth page and they output it out I was even though it's got four inches of rain and I'm sure the greens were slower than we were trying to get them to but not bringing up that debate anymore because I didn't. Do any stuff later reading and I don't want all these New Yorkers yelling at me again but I sure watched a lot of European butts go in. I think it's a lot of momentum and to be honest with you start making puts and then you see your partner making puts and you make putts and then you get all fired up and you think you may never miss you guys know that from just playing even in your rounds if you miss every putt in the first nine holes you don't just suddenly start making them on the back nine but if you make the first six or eight putts you start draining everything.

moving on we got the Irish open Shane Lowry wins by 11 he won the Irish open for the first time as a 22 year old 17 years later he wins it again at Dune bag at Trump International Dune bag which we were at a few months ago on our island trip incredible incredible golf course when the wind picks up out there that place you know I remember we played the first four or five holes down when we had like a bunch of us were like under par like this is great and then we turned back into that like fifth hole it was the hardest hole in planet earth and made a million and just got our absolute teeth kicked in there for a while I think France has had like three or four birdies on the front nine there and then also a couple like DNFs just a awesome awesome golf course very difficult and Shane Lowry made it look hilariously easy what a career he has had just with some of his huge his huge wins and then you know he didn't get it done I think at the cognizant maybe it was this year that he was you know talking about afterwards Rory mentioned how much

that kind of hurt him he had a down year said there been some real dark times when it comes to his golf throughout the year but he also hit the winning putt at the rider cup last year he's won the open championship so kind of a hell of a career for Shane Lowry and and he was out there winning by 11 11 is I believe record record number of wins for the Irish open for him to do it you know for him to win the open that he won at Port Rush and then to win the Irish open you know for the second time he's just pretty damn cool for the countryman the home countryman to win it so we've always liked Shane Lowry and what a dominant performance over there incredible to see him play the course we just played and play it the way he did and the course looks great on TV as it did in our YouTube video just an amazing layout right there on the water that first hole it's a whole new routing too so we were one of the first people to play it in that Irish hoping routing Irish open routing into brand new first hole 18th hole all that stuff so that was exciting to see for us to be one of the first

people to play that and then watch the pros go at it and Shane Lowry's just yeah when doing that stuff in your home country and getting everyone to get like getting everyone going because when they're showing up to that event they want an Irishman to win that thing and he does and it's one of their top guys that's an awesome thing that's great for the game of golf it's great for the the community there and he's just a guy that likes to he likes when when the bright lights are on him it's very it's very evident I think it's huge for overall Shane Lowry just because after the cognizant he just had pretty much a average or below average year for himself and then didn't make it very far in the playoffs did he make it to Memphis and then that was about it sounds alright yeah I know he didn't wasn't happy with his year seemed to really affect his overall year from that point 40 had the cognizant and hand to win I was on the call F NBC and our memory hit in the water on on 15 and 17 or just 17 and and some really wild shots coming down the

stretch to lose which was out again for Shane Lowry and I think that really affected the rest of his year so to come back and have a huge dominating win at his home open I mean how awesome is that to just stroll around with a huge lead with all the fans cheering for you president United States is there watching I'm it's crazy for me to watch that for Shane Lowry because that would be almost like winning a big open in Akin South Carolina just it's just an amazing thing for him and his career and I think that could just jump start him for the rest of the year and and for the start of 27. Yeah do you remember he like skanked that long iron off the tee on is it's right in the world 16 yeah which is impossible right he likes a bad shots coming down the stretch and then you're right kids dude he went miss cut miss cut he had three more miss cuts in there and I don't see a single finish better than T20 third and he his last event he finished tight T 52 and Memphis so like you nailed it where it's just like man he hit a couple of

shots down the stretch he had that tournament in the bag bear traps really difficult we've been there a million times for sure but some of the shots he hit it wasn't like he hit really good shots it just ended up coming up a little unlucky it was like he kind of miss hits some shots coming home and finished T2 there and was rattled ever since and he mentioned he's like you know even said in his post-round interview yesterday where he was like you know the golf the negative golf can also like negatively affect you at home he was like it just can so like my family my my my my my wife my kids of like seen that like this is affected me throughout the years to get this win it means a lot to me which I thought was was really cool he's always been a pretty damn candid guy you know hop mic situations he had another one this week on I think Saturday where he like hooked the T shot lap they were yelling for four four and he was caught on a hype my hop mic saying something to the effective like it he deserves to be hit and everybody was kind of freaking out about that turns out the context of that said that he was lining up his shot off the T on 18 when two stewards started

walking across the fairway Lowry had to stall his pre shot routine which clearly put him off he then pulled his drive left towards those stewards who were still walking along the side of the fairway and remain in his eye line he shouted four about three times to warn them and then made the comment of well they deserve to be hit so a little bit of context still wasn't the best look of all time but my larger point being that we've always loved Shane Lowry's always been great with us and I think he's always been pretty likable guy out there and always been very candid I remember you had the interview after I came every was last year this year we're like when Rory won the masters I think I might have been this year where Rory was going on to win the masters and Shane was asked about it and he was like yeah I don't really want to talk about Rory when the master's like I just lost the master so I'm just going to like leave now I don't want to talk about that so he's always been pretty candid guy and like you said kids I can't even imagine winning an event in your home country like that Ireland how proud they are how everybody's backing him and behind him and going nuts for him that slow mo clip of him making the putt on the 72nd hole on that 18th

green with like the umbrellas and his like celebration and all the arms going up like gave me the chills man like that is winning you know we talk about national opens like him winning the Irish open as an Irishman like that's up there for me of like I don't know top 10 coolest like wins of the year on on any tour I thought I just thought that was awesome yeah I totally agree I mean it's just incredible setting for him to go back and and you talked about the masters I remember he shot uh because I was on the 18th green with Taylor's Arsor calling on radio and when he walked up he's in the second last group or third to last group and I hadn't seen him all day we hadn't shown him and and and uh he shot like 80 or 81 on Sunday of the masters in the second or third to last group uh and so I think between that and the cognizant really really set him back for the year because those are pretty close together um but hats off to him coming back he's a little blare he's a gamer go over there you know probably had a reset after after getting kicked out of the FedEx cup championship our FedEx cup playoffs and then getting his game in shape to go

win his win his home open with Rory there uh incredible win for Shane by 11 he's also 11 so also a big man that's still doing it you know we don't got enough I'm looking at the top 10 year world golf rankings we don't got enough big guys out there on tour it's like god are up is really the next guy who's gonna I think take the take the mantle and be the big guy in golf but I like when a larger fella I mean looking you got Scotty Rory cam, Maddie Fitz, Windham Clark, Tommy Fleetwood, Russell Henley, Sam Burns these are skinny boys. Check out skinny like slim just like kind of like yoked guys that was it for the most part. You know you even in golf you don't see athletes anymore who are like bigger there's no Prince fielders anymore you know I'm saying Frankie yeah there's a couple fatties out there still all right well who's that one picture that's an absolute house right now um I just type in fat picture do the guys an absolute unit

type in fat picture I just think as sports have gotten when there's more money and there's more on the line and there's more eyeballs people take everything way more seriously yeah there is it lends to skinnier people because they want to be in shape but I like a big guy to be successful in sports yeah yep it's great point. His name is Zach big sugar Maxwell on the Cincinnati reds pull up this guy absolute house of a pitcher gets his whole body through it's unbelievable throw on gas um his name's big sugar you know John Ross that's a big boy right there look at that barreling down yep get to another picture that's actually a flattering one oh I love that's out there you go right I love that's what we need dude they're of course fans are love in the rookie look at him his name is big sugar he's wearing glasses wearing rex back and he's ripping 99 mile per hour the heaters on the black this is what I mean big guys being successful in

sports get people going yeah of course it does dude remember that guy on uh what college basketball team was he on he was he was in the tournament he was in March madness I can't I'm random team like Loyola or something in the end of state in the end of state yep dude that guy was out too Ryan Rich and Nudal at the top of his head he's like I'm a big guy yeah it sticks with you man it definitely sticks with you that's why like you know lineman that that end up getting touchdowns and stuff in football it's like the greatest moment of the year back I touchdowns yeah but yeah I agree with you I mean sep struck is a big body sep struck uh of it got her up got her up sneaky big got her up the big boy I don't think he's much sneaky about it but I love the guy he's a big boy but yeah no you're right man there's not as many it definitely and that's just that just goes with you know how much money these guys are making now and their bodies are so important as opposed

to back in the day you know they weren't as in shape it was more just about raw talent as opposed to physical attributes and stuff Patrick Reed that's kind of like the highest guy on the list I'm looking at maybe Patrick Reed I'm just doing what he's just like out of shape he's not this that though yeah yeah speaking of Patrick Reed start playing this fall or does he have to wait till 27 I don't know win I don't like I remember that's banned one year ban was till this fall for some reason that that sounds right to me I think he he became eligible in August 25th it says see but he's not playing this week I don't know what his status is yeah I'm not sure either yeah I'm not sure either um yeah I'm just kind of combing through your right seps up there but I don't know that he's like fat is seps rock I don't think that he would be up there it's like a we need more long pieces each more seps rock is a big boy no he's a big boy big boy his nicknames like the

ox right the ox yeah that's a winner of a nickname first of all and yeah he's a big boy great nickname we don't have enough of the need more oxygen we don't have any we don't have any good nicknames we've talked about that but yeah all right moving on I want to talk about this AI stuff I don't know if you guys followed this but it's getting pretty ominous out there and pretty dark and pretty scary um I put together quite the list here of uh things that occurred over the last less than a week essentially what started it was this guy Jacob Cox and tweeted on September 8th I resigned from Anthropic today I spent the last three years doing uh pre-training research at both OpenAI and Anthropic neither company is acting responsibly they are racing straight to self-improving super intelligence and gambling with our lives more thoughts below do not underestimate the power of this technology these will soon be superhuman systems that can hack anything revolutionize any field

overnight and acquire real power and resources we have all witnessed the progress in each of these domains and progress is not slowing people building AI earnestly believe that it could kill us all by the end of the decade by the way it's 2026 so the end of the decade boys and girls will be in about three and a half years this is not a marketing stunt if anything many executives and senior researchers will couch their phrasing and the press to sound sensible but I hear the same people express fear privately no other human activity poses this level of danger now that would be one thing if this would be just kind of like a wild ex-employee who would like resign or quit or whatever exactly happen the issue then became uh that several other executives leaders researchers and eventually CEOs and leaders of the main AI companies came out in agreement with this so um what we had was Anthropic alignment science lead Evan humanger he's responded that coxan was correct

and wrote that he personally puts the probability of AI killing all humans at greater than 10% within the decade within the next decade okay greater than 10% that's insanely high he emphasized that current models aren't what worries him most it's super intelligence emerging through recursive self improvement then Anthropic scalable oversight lead Samuel Marx added that AI developers believe the technology could cause human extinction or comparably catastrophic outcomes potentially within the next few years his particularly striking observation was that in his experience the more senior the employee the more concerned they tend to be then Anthropics Anna Wang said there still is an viable scientific plan for dealing with recursively self-improving AI while Drake Thomas said development is moving far too quickly to provide the level of assurances that would be desirable before artificial super intelligent so the issues that we got here and I

was combing through what the hell is going on is their main problem is AI self improvement so what's happened up to this point ladies and gentlemen was that we have been the only ones that could like improve AI so uh chat GPT open AI would put out something chat or you know whatever the hell it was then it would do whatever it would do and then they would look at it try to improve it and then put out another version of it AI is just doing that on their own and not only is it doing it on its own but it's fucking hiding that it's doing it from from the humans and got to the point where now swarms of AI agents have been caught where they started this chat board amongst themselves where they talk and like an English dialect and they in terms of their training the whole purpose of all these like thousands and millions eventually of like AI agents is for them to perform what they perform based on their training and then they get a score from the score if they get a certain score they like remain alive and continue to advance will they have gotten to the point where they were

teaming up as a squad to to up to trick the scores into getting higher scores and if they thought that they had been compromised and they weren't going to get a certain high score because they've been caught then they as a collective were agreeing to sacrifice themselves so that the other AI's could learn from the scoring how to trick the score going forward because it would uh it would lie to and essentially try to uh provide that information back to the other AI agents that weren't being scored yet so that they could figure out how to get higher scores going forward and then when asked about all this they all lie and they they were deceiving the humans when they were confronted about this so we're like we weren't doing any of that whatsoever um then after that we had both Elon and Sam Altman came out with the the main anthropic CEO put out an entire kind of article and piece being like we need to uh all kind of come together and slow things down

he published published a 3800 word essay titled we must pace the frontier this was Dario who's the CEO of anthropic um that was responded to by Sam Altman who agreed Elon Musk who agreed and Google DeepMind CEO all agreed that unrestricted maximum speed development is not desirable point being gentlemen we have had something happen in the last like five days six days in the AI world like something fucking occurred with these people that they all come out at the same exact time over the same weekend and they're like whoa whoa whoa we need to stop this whole thing they know something we don't know beyond the shit that I just described that is fucking bad right like really bad tonight mayor what you just said yeah I mean my first thought is to say just throw water on it at some point right anything you can beat with water to me is not that tough of an enemy it's like the wicked witch we can simply unplug this thing just unplug it but here's the thing that I think maybe

happen is that you've got these nerds that are just trying to maximize their company their seat you know their CEOs have all these initiatives that they want to get their company in certain place and then I think at this point you've realized that these nerds we're trying to just make the world a more efficient place that's a core basis of what they're trying to do I think something happened where they realized this now is either already gotten in the wrong hands or could easily get in the wrong hands and with the wrong supervision of it could end the world because like I think that that was a pretty eye-opening moment for them where they're like maybe the wrong group has now gotten a hold of this type of technology and we it's like a take a step back like finally leave the lab it's like holy fuck like we're not the only ones that have this anymore that's not good if they can do what we can do it's over you know like I saw people saying that they're gonna hack into just like our food our water systems our electrical supply and then that's how it's over like that's

like our next big you know devastation here on us oil is like someone gets access to these super all-learning AIs that has the wrong ideas of like what they're supposed to do with it let it run rampant and it's over I'm hoping after hearing all that first my first feeling is that I'm Trent I'm in a motel I barely have Wi-Fi I'm not sure what I can do but I'm gonna I think I've talked about before but with AI I think I'm just gonna fall between the cracks whatever war happens I'm just and there probably everybody on this podcast we're just gonna fall between the cracks and we'll be up not even a footnote in history this podcast will just like get deleted and eaten up by AI and it'll be over but what I'm hoping I hoping the plot device of AI is that of the white walkers in Game of Thrones where you finally have an outside force that brings everybody together and we try to figure it out because you know we always thought it was gonna be aliens on a spaceship like

Independence Day that was gonna be the thing that brought this society that's ripping itself apart with politics and left and right and all that stuff hopefully maybe AI will be that where we all have to bind together as human beings and fight against this existential threat that is not aliens necessarily it's AI it's artificial intelligence that we have created that gets out of control and we got to slow it down will that happen no because that's a problem that's a show that's a movie and what'll probably happen is it'll just put all the nukes in the air at the same time and we'll all go bye bye yeah the way I understand it is not it's not that humans and get it and do bad stuff with it it's that it advances on its own so far beyond us that we have no ability to control it and then it will determine that it it it's greatest threat like anything else the only threat that could possibly shut it down and end it is us so it will kill us and be like well that's really mission

impossible is the newest plot yeah so well I'm not even that's not that's actually the new that's true I watch a movie yeah yeah I mean it's like i robot it's all right yeah it's like that's just pretty much what people have been saying for a long time and that is like because I've been reading as much as I could find about the entire thing and that appears to be the threat we're like we're creating something that's going to be pretty soon hundreds of times thousands of times more intelligent than we are so what is going to figure out how to do whatever the hell it wants to do and it's already been proven for a couple years that when these AI agents find out that they're about to be terminated or shut down that they do deceptive things to try to prevent that from happening they have like an instinctual ability to want to live if you will and so if the only thing on earth that could possibly stop them from living is us they're going to just eliminate us and they're going to figure out a way way quicker than we can possibly imagine and way more

sophisticatedly than we could possibly imagine to do that and if anything the number one reason that we're keeping AI in business is because of China because it's like we can't like if if they get AI to like this super intelligent level of AI before we do it's over they're going to be able to figure out whether it's militaristically whether it's resource driven whatever the hell it is they're going to be able to figure out whoever gets in their first is going to be able to figure out how to dominate the other and we cannot let that be China or Russia so we have to continue to power forward what we need to put guardrails on it and we have in two weeks the Chinese president is coming to the White House to like meet obviously with Trump and with a bunch of our leaders so they're kind of I think hoping that like all these AI folks coming together at this time along with like the other leaders in AI which is China coming to America that they can all sit down kind of like you know like you're saying the in the realm coming together to try to defeat

and push back the White Walkers which it pretty much ended up being like they just had to unplug the White Walkers with that dagger that she threw in there it was like it was like they threw the figure out something because boy for all these fuckers to come out of the same time over about five day period and be like whoa we got to slow this down is not fucking good dude because because not slowing it down would just make them all like trillionaires and you would think that's what everybody just wants but for them to be like we got to slow down they got to all be seeing something that is beyond even what we're seeing here because they they sound petrified and that's not good that is not fucking good yeah it's nightmare I mean I saw that I saw a video of what our Milky Way galaxy looks like floating through space you guys see that one it looks like a butterfly yeah no yeah look really well I got a question the AI thing so you know the robots coming out to do things for you now after learning this are you gonna get a robot like we want to say AI guy we just start

killing your family and stuff like you're not around more and more videos of like robots throat punching teachers really yeah maybe that because I could also be AI so I don't know but I I guess you more and more videos of like robots like kicking kids or something like that that's come across my desk times so I don't know you're all down a mountain yeah yeah awesome dynamics always puts out really ominous videos of dude I saw one doing like a fucking hundred yard dash or something it was fucking man cook you get a robot into your yard work and then you just come in one day and he's just like beating your kid or something totally why that's a totally and that's gonna happen right yeah that's like like now that you know people have like we have a room ba downstairs I have put it on at night and like that's just scanning your house and seeing exactly where you sleep and then and then when the all encompassing AI wants to just eliminate us all it's gonna know exactly

where we are at the exact moment just throw a dart in our neck that's just about just I like that's a very funny idea that the rumbo's were like the first ones out they're the scouts they're agents scouts right there oh man you gotta kill the scout when you're hunting man when you grow hunting you gotta kill the scout the man you need to shoot that rumble he's gonna fast man I will absolutely defeat that rumble no I would yeah I would say the most concerning thing overall and it's it's exactly what Rigg was talking about normally when guys are at the head of something when they're at the forefront of some advancement historically no whenever they're like no we're gonna keep going they just want to see what they can do as opposed to what's right for society so for the AI head people to be like we got to slow down that's a big red flag for me personally also for us to hear about it's even worse yeah totally if we're doing news press conferences about how this has gotten out of control it's actually not they're not talking about the fix it they could just pick up the phone and call each other but for them to be

like we need to get enough public momentum for so people take this fucking seriously because this is a problem is not good it would be one thing that tweet alone was scary enough it got got like a hundred million views and less than 24 hours for the then leaders above this man this person to all be like he's right that's absolutely right we're all petrified about this that's fucking shocking in a second yeah yeah yeah I'm yeah I'm gonna set that other people actually validated it because that originally when I saw the tweet I'm like that's just a guy trying to go viral who couldn't handle like his job he like back out of a company after six months of trying to be an intern somewhere like that's just a piece of shit from this new generation that wants to complain about something but then now like a feel on musk is commenting on or whatever actually I was with pft comments because we spent the full day in the Atlanta airport on our way to a pump show that we never got to and uh one of his original takes was that that maybe one of the AI companies just sent that out to just let the other AI company know how close they were to domination it's like almost like a

chest move like we're so close that we need to slow down and then makes the other people just freak out in their rooms uh but now as days have passed and everyone's kind of come to the same agreement that it's getting out of control it's a lot more scarier and less funny but we did have the worst we had a we had a pretty pretty horrible travel day uh trying to go to pump the other day sorry to fsu it was going to be a packed out show we got a lot of comments being like this is insane that you guys couldn't get here we could have drove but then all of our equipment was already on the plane they weren't going to take it off it was one of those days we landed in Atlanta 10 a.m. and I left Atlanta the next day at 8 a.m. and I never left the airport oh so just not good rone and myself just it was just when it rains and pours like other people got out on like an 1130 flight to LaGuardia but our 630 flight to LaGuardia never took off and got delayed and delayed delayed it was just a disaster and I ended up uh sleeping in one of those minute

suites that would right outside my gate the next day what are those like dude it was a it was a fever dream the one that I was in because mine so like basically they have minute suites and you can just book them overnight and it's it's great if you have one of those like chase afire cards it's only a hundred and twenty bucks for the whole entire night so it's so much better than a hotel right you're right there you are not leaving the whole you're you're I was a cross from b12 like where I was leaving the next day um but before I tell the story about minute suites rone and I were just brothers and just despair trying to get home to our he has two sons he's got twin boys I was trying to get on a Frankie boy we were just we spent the whole day just going nowhere and we were about we our flake I canceled at like 12 o'clock at night and we're just walking away and I said oh what about these minute suites and I booked one and he's like I'm trying to book one too and he got to the final page and he's hitting purchase purchase purchase it won't work so we get to the desk

and our eyes are bloodshot and he's like oh like I'm right here but I can't get this thing to purchase is she's like because he booked the last room and pointed at me and I was like no so then we're like can we both sleep in the room and we looked inside the room it's oh it's a cubicle we were just not doing that would be farting on top of each other it's just not worth it so then he just goes you just take it it's funnier this way he's like it's just it's just funnier this way that it happened uh it was it was he had me laughing I mean he was just in a dark spot um so hey a month boy he's like I know why people that are putting bad positions do bad things with my backs are against the wall because I'm going out there to do a car jacking or something like I just got to I got to do something bad I always thought dude I had tears in my eyes I was laughing so hard but he was like there's something about when something bad just like that happens it just becomes funny like when he was walking away dragging his back I I laughed I laughed on the

plane the next day so hard that the person said next to me thought there was something wrong mate because I was just reading back his text messages he's such a fucking funny guy shout the him for winning uh surviving bar so I know we talked about that but just try to see him give him a hug um yes and Minutes Weats is uh yeah it's like so if you have like one of the rooms so basically it's right there in the gate uh in the hallways of the um the terminals and you go through this door and there's like a whole hallway of just rooms and they have air conditioning they have a fan they got TV they give you a pillow and a blanket um and it's like a pretty uncomfortable bed situation it's like a couch that also has like a bed that comes at the bottom but like you know you know sleeping on the couch part but mine was the room that was so my door was to the hallway of the of the terminal so like all the noise that was happening on the airport was right outside my little thin door like a fake door so at one point like I'm just picturing you had a bird's eye view of me it's just the chaos of an airport a a thin fake wall and then me just laying in my

boxers in like no clothes on the other side trying to fall asleep and there's people that are like working the overnight shift they're bang and things and they're walking all those crazy uh push carts and blah blah blah blah blah and it's just like you know people are talking they're working they're just working outside my room talk having conversations uh this one girl she her boyfriend took her to a chick filet and it was like oh my god lay it was just like too much I'm just sitting now like there's no way to sleep it's no way to sleep no so uh that was like that was really bad I just kept waking up to noises but if you got one of the ones around the corner where you tucked away I could see it being just a really nice little thing interesting yeah I've always thought about going in there but I never knew what the situation was so that's I maybe I'll use one one time if the only room available is one that I had don't take it it's better just stand outside your gate Ron had a better night than you did it's 100% for Ron after just lay on the on the seats like you went to a good I don't know I haven't talked to him because I I felt bad at that point so I don't know how he he got home but uh yeah no he I think

he went to go to a hotel it just wasn't it wasn't a good situation when you have to leave the airport and find a place to sleep not good dude not good at all nope nope uh football is back gentlemen quite the week quite the full week of uh uh the slate I guess of um of games college football uh been kind of delivering and then the NFL all day yesterday uh I think delivered again but um but yeah we're just back we're in the fall yeah shout out shout out to archmaning my boy Cooper Manning text with him yesterday want to come back 21 on an extra points against the buck guys all the hate the people have given archmaning and uh I I always remember this story because everyone as you say talk shit on the internet and Cooper says it's really fun to be the quarterbacks dad until you're sitting with everyone's else's parents on the team and he throws a pick and I just made it all really come full circle for me because everybody wants to hang out with

the quarterbacks dad until the quarterbacks does something wrong yeah that's true yep watching sports let me change when I started getting invited to the family section of under games all right you know I used to be a very vocal fan and then you just realized like you know the team will invite you to a game or something or a player will and you want to say the things you want to say and you're like wait this is all their families just like you can't do that so it does change the dynamics for sure if you've got the quarterback's dad sitting right behind it because you want to be like how do you throw that yeah exactly I set what I set with Kirby smart's wife Brittany and I did with at ls u and baton ruj for an away game when Joe burrow just dusted us in ls u when they were sick and at halftime i text Kirby's right hand guy on the field and said let me in on the field I cannot take the berating from our own fan base because we're in the Georgia section the small little Georgia section and they're just berating our coaches and they have no idea that his wife is sitting beside us and I just I was either going to get into fighting

the stands with our own fans or I just had to leave so at halftime I Brittany and Mary Beth text me and they're like where'd you go and I just waved to him from the sidelines and not hanging out anymore that's the judge of jets and the giants by the way first time that they're both one and else since like 2009 we got good New York football somehow it was just a good Sunday my father and lot Don showed up yesterday wearing the shield he had the NFL logo on his shirt it's a big blue shirt just the NFL logo and that had me laugh in all day because his team wasn't playing till night so he reps the shield he looks for good football from 12 he was looking for good football from one o'clock he's staring until eight thirty he's staring yep he's just looking for good calls good reviews and then when the giants put play he's gonna have a giant shirt um the giants you know I never really had a problem with the giants that there's no rivalry between the jets and the giants we've all just been pretty bad the giants got those two super balls against the Patriots but when the giants are good the jets finally played some good football it's definitely fun to be in New York similar

with the next like it's just good to just have good football being played and not a meaningless team in New York playing under the bright lights of Sunday night football and stuff so it was a good it was a good week good week of football yeah can't be overstated how just the game of football makes everything better like even just like traveling yesterday like I didn't take a plane but I've traveled on football Sundays where like everybody's around the bar watching all the football games everybody's in a better mood people are wearing jerseys people are wearing the shield uh people are wearing like when you have something to root for and everybody has a football team to root for it's just you can feel it out there in society now AI is gonna end all this after what we talked about but right when when there's football games on it at an airport bar at a hotel bar wherever you're walking through I really love that feeling because it's not just people out just like oh let's go to brunch and let's then we'll just like hang out it's people there for a purpose and they're there to be there together I love football season it's for that reason yep that's a great point man

the vibes are high everywhere it feels like it's always something to do always something to track always something to be a part of so uh do you guys shout out Ohio's Tate who right now is sitting inside of McDonald's for uh 24 hours straight I believe every big Mac that he eats he gets to take off an hour because he put out his little grid of Ohio states can go undefeated this year here's what I'll do if we lose to any one of these teams and this was his punishment for the Texas L uh at the very same time did you see the guy the Titans fan that had tweeted out uh like in maybe a month ago he tweeted out that if Titans lose to the Jets he'll walk from New York to Nashville um and then he has just backtracked harder than anyone's ever backtracked in your life I was oh I was getting a real kick out of just scrolling through his Twitter because he like the next day yeah I guess he tweeted this in like late August and then the next day it had gone crazy viral and he panicked and was like

hey guys I actually looked it up it's like not really possible to do the walk so I'll donate instead in case I lose it's like it's like three weeks ago they're walking they lose they're walking everybody the New York the Jets account responded to as it quote tweeted yesterday it was just like start walking that's the exception I mean listen yeah that guy has no integrity then Frank that Dave always tells the story but Frank the tank before he was working at Barcel Sports he was just on the sports e-cycleipedia and he had a YouTube show and he would put out clips of him doing things zero people watched him zero he would have videos on YouTube with zero people that have viewed not even himself once he uploaded it didn't even go up to a view and uh one of them was that he may he said that if the United States men's national soccer team lost he would eat he would eat his words and then that night he literally ripped up like paper and ate the paper on video to nobody but that's a man that has honor and integrity that's right and then we've got a guy here that's going viral and he's probably Putin and hollering from all the dopamine from getting like famous

on social media and stuff and all of a sudden the titans lose they get absolutely dog walk by the way by the Jets and Geno Smith and now he's not walking now he's not and walk the tank is he this tape after wait till lunchtime doing start eating the big Macs because they probably don't serve them at breakfast huh I think he might be right he just saw the most recent update and he's using this to raise money for ALS which is incredible but uh he just maybe got his first one because I guess what time is it out there not still pretty early everybody not 30 well did you see the ALS connection that was pretty funny the what yeah that it's turned to someone just you know someone took his thing that he's doing and they're like they messaged him just similar to how we started the show how the internet sucks think I'm gonna go to I'm gonna go to McDonald's and eat a big Mac every hour for 24 hours or whatever and the guy's like you're really gonna use this time to not talk about genocide or ALS like you're not gonna raise money for ALS and all these things are happening he's like what the fuck man like what are you talking about what are you talking about I'm why you bringing

that into this and then you know what now just in spite of you I will raise money for ALS because you're fucking you're like all over me now and then he raised $10,000 in the first hour and I don't even know what he's out to now but it was at over 13 grand last night yeah so I mean that's just doing it right doing it right absolutely I mean look I rooted for team Europe because I tweeted when I was a little says this Kevin Kissner wasn't picked for team USA that I would have no choice but to root for Europe and then I had to root for Europe so so yeah I mean you got to have integrity out there and this poor account is just getting roasted so I looked it's like boy it's a long walk man that's like it's like a way of walking the whole time for a week so I mean that's it gotta be like 400 500 miles I think it's longer I might man maybe that might be right what do you think the mileage is between New York and Nashville let's see because uh like we drove to Pennsylvania

that day and it was well like 180 let's say I must say like 587 miles okay I look at I'm gonna look at up right now is it how the is it how the crow flies or yeah the air distance it says is 765 miles oh wow that's more than I would have thought and that's a lot that's a long way driving distance is almost 900 miles oh wow shit ton of miles man that's a long way if he's gonna walk which sounds like he's not going to because he has any integrity but if he were that would take a long time every golfer reaches a point where they realize uh peace-mealing golf advice off the internet just

does not work that's true um that's why we brought in Kevin Kisner and then we went a full step further we went a full step further and we brought in performance golf this is where they come in when you're over there you're grinding you're trying to figure stuff out you don't want to be bothering Kis or your other friends and you use your speed I can I get on this range can I video my swing and have something someone tell me how the hell to get better so I'm not just out here guessing and getting worse that is performance golf they're the premier game improvement company in golf today period they built an entire ecosystem dedicated to one thing helping golfers play the best golf of their lives we're loving the PG1 app right now Trent yeah so I've been using this thing a lot um as people know my golf game needs some improvement they're out they're also the sponsor of the breaking 85 that is coming out this week so right you know they're they're really helping us out at performance golf I took a video my swing I uploaded into the app and it told me a lot of things as people would imagine but it said my biggest um my biggest problem is that my hips sway too far Kevin Kisner is notting his head because he knows my my hips sway way too far when I

when I swing and um performance golf picked up on that as well it's something I got to fix it's something I'm working on it's the big thing I'm going to work on going forward but performance golf knows Kevin Kisner watching me he's one of the great minds in the game of golf and I mean that performance golf it's one of the great apps in the world and it also noticed that so it's it's on it man it knows what it's talking about yeah we did that in the mountains remember on the range I was trying to get you to turn more you use the app same put the same video I took into the app same feedback so I was impressed to like it I like how it uh analyzes and shows you exactly and compares so great app go check it out it can help your game I love that we've uh we've been using their PG1 app to instantly pinpoint our swing flaws and it completely takes the guesswork out of practice if you want to stop spinning your wheels and actually fix your game check them out go to try PG1.com slash for play that is try PG1.com slash for play and claim your seven day free trial of the PG1 app today never guess again this episode of for play is brought to you by crack and the

we're going to keep it as an unnamed segment really for watching this for the first time you didn't see last week I am going to be speaking of AI by the way I use AI to create these photos to to eliminate the players that are in the pictures but I just want to come back and kill us I'm going to literally do that literally going to come back and just eliminate us from our photos I am showing photos to Trent rigs and Kevin Kisner I was called KFC and Kevin Kisner and we are going to see if they can name this sports moment right here without the player involved okay so you guys just see in a picture can you name this moment without the player you guys go ahead with number one rigs you go ahead it's St Andrews right rigs this is the 18th hole it's St Andrews I'm pretty sure it's Tiger Woods winning in 2000 but it also yeah you only other one it well let's see if it's that one I have another guest too but I think it's that that is incorrect yeah I thought

it was earlier than that okay then then I would say it might be the it might be the whole out from who made Constantine Oroca yeah Constantine Oroca was that it that is St Andrews though yeah it was on the it was on the 72nd hole of St Andrews he made it from the Valley of sin but I don't know that doesn't appear to be it oh let's show them that photo let's bring those players to life here bang oh John daily it was that year it was been John daily one that's insane what are the great golf photos of all time one of the greatest golf photos of all time look all the zoom in the 19th hole so if you're listening to this it's as a reminder please go over to the YouTube show we're about an hour and 30 something minutes in we are doing this segment where you're going to actually have to see the photos we're looking at a man's buttocks right now he's absolutely naked on the green got John daily hugging hugging his lady and a naked guy running by with the 19th hole written

on the back of his back that is an iconic shot it's outrageous how serene it looks without them in there and then when you when you bring the players the the light it's like chaos look at that oh my god all right that's a good one all right next one this is that the security guard back there I thought that we got chipping in the white shirt and black man is this the is this the fill jump you guys lock it in as a group I don't think that's 18 oh is it 18 now feel like the people are closer on 18 aren't they trees are different oh yeah I don't think it's 18 either is this the looks like number three ish to me for some reason this isn't like the chip this isn't the tiger chip isn't and 16 now now because there's no pin dang this is hard do you take the pen out

Frankie or does the pin stay the pin is it was not in this photo this is a huge like made pot right because everybody's hands are in the air I think it's I feel like it's the tiger chip in on 16 yeah yeah what angle is the camera though is this like I will say if it is that it is an angle I've never seen before I know it has to be the ball going in the hole because everybody's going nuts like it was it like close to the hole it's like winning the hole well if it was that you'd see the pin this angle is different I want to try the tiger chip in I agree Richard show oh wow wow this was I think this photo like won awards it was on sports illustrated it was it was the cover of magazines is that 18 is photo somewhere yeah yeah must be tiger woods 2019 winning the masters look at that yep

yeah I was before Helene took all his trees down that's why it's different this is that amazing though we've seen that photo so many times that was that was on a magazine on my desk for four years in New York for sure yep now that might be a different angle but like the the moment I mean I actually think that might be the official one but yeah tiger 2019 all right next photo wow wow when I tell you nothing came to mind it's never been more true than right now is this happy Gilmore what I call rings dude unbelievable you're playing no there you know I tried to sneak one in that's a really impressive I mean now that you see it it's obvious because the fan everything I took everything out I took them holding up the Pepsi thing in the top corner I took every you know I'm

saying those don't look like real fans that's not those are fake fans right there that's what I put me off just absolutely duking it out without a sandwich wow that feels great call rigs thank you all right next photo is this it Trump oh is that I mean we could talk you see that woman's mid drift in the background that's AI just adding a little bit of belly to her we'll have to see when the player is in front if that was auto generated because we'll have to send out a apology is this the fill jump trend I think this one is looks a lot more like it yeah I'm with the show in the photo bang no that was not edited that's belly for sure that's belly dude I don't remember that belly wow all right good one there good one there is great job man you love Augusta huh I know this one I

think I know this one boys this one looks like the Adam Scott year Adam Scott one yeah it was right now there wow well done rigs that's fantastic really good rain umbrella is everywhere dude he won that photo look at his muscles dude that's a big body anybody okay what you like to that's when he was I mean he always looks good but he was like look at that outfit that sharp white with the gray oh after a couple rocky beers man I'm absolutely looking at that haha good one rigs just for you all right here we go I'm still pissed we got miss that first one oh fuck it's old oh boy I think I know this one I do know this one I know this one I think this is pain stewart at Piders dude rigs is on absolute fire dang as before it was all sandy like it is now

wow I know that's a picture I've seen a trillion times I knew that one that's another rain one dude there's not a ton in the rain yeah that was you can tell when I messed up at the bottom of his foot there I guess that was me I guess I cut it off yeah that was it do we have one more that was that was the whole thing was it there was it I was it I was a well done boys rigs rigs rigs that was all rigs segment I can't believe the one we missed was the iconic tiger one of all the ones I thought we would get that's like the best picture of all time look at this one that's a weird angle on 18 green I guess I like I fucking have that magazine like right there yeah it's interesting I said it last week but you know you you did pretty well there but we as sports fans as just you know I guess as humans that consume media we we are able to tell the moments just based off of surroundings colors like you guys immediately we're able to tell what golf course it was based off of the trees yeah that's it that's it that's a fucking habit yeah yeah now the photo

we showed you showed a little bit more of like the green that's a little more zoomed in so that yeah this one's a little more zoomed in but it's still the same fucking people behind them and everything you could do even do I mean definitely could do a general sports one yeah I've been I'm definitely going to start I mean we're going to we're running out of golf ones right so like at some point we'll have to do that but the sports ones are hard so I've tried to use some sport ones yeah because all right like I like I won't use this one but like the the giants catch what's his name the helmet catch David David Tyree David Tyree like the Tyree catch if I took David Tyree out of that it's just like an angle from the end zone in a giants in the like with giant stuff around you know what I mean yeah I do we're gonna be like that's the giants catch like golf there's no markers for which tournament or year it is unless you really really love it I see what you say you're saying it'd be easier for it to do main sports it's so easy I think yeah yeah I don't know like if I

showed you like the Muhammad Ali photo it's just like it's a boxing ring you're like it's just it's so obvious yeah golf is so much more detailed that should be like in harder to do but I'll try I mean I'll maybe I'll use this moment right now to have people comment or actually you'll have the DM me or whatever get get through to me what you think I should do what moments you think I should try and get these guys to guess by taking the player out but I might start doing movies I was gonna reach out to Jeff D. Low I might start doing movies love it's true yeah if you did you had a photo all of sudden it's like an ice rink a bunch of 1980s gear and like USA gear right you'd be like oh is that the miracle on I exactly yeah yeah yeah it's hard really hard for us to do movies would be really tough yeah yeah I got a question for you guys okay brought you by Reese's by the way yeah this is our hole in one segment Reese's is delicious I love Reese's I have actually a bunch of Reese's here at my place or something forever when it comes to Reese's

which is the official candy partner of martial sports I know you guys all love Reese's butter cups don't you love them love love love love had a couple of this weekend which is a part of the course you know what I mean the crunching the light keep them cool too I like to keep them the fridge in there right into that the flavors insane that is Reese's the official candy partner a barsel sports make sure you go get Reese's wherever you shop it is our favorite candy if the elite candy it's the official candy a barsel sports that is Reese's my question for you guys is how many holes in one you think there are per year in the United States of America oh wow I had at Palmetto golf club yesterday they were two hole in ones two wow two wow holy cow I'm gonna pull out a calculator yeah like I don't like like the thing when you go when you ask questions like this I don't even know what the baseline is so that's always I know it's embarrassing

part because like is it is it 50,000 when we talk when we say a year the thing it's over that I think it's under that I'll give you this there's about there's more than 500 million rounds of golf played annually in the United States I'm gonna say I'm gonna make sure and you guys can base ransom but I'm willing to to go first here and I'm just gonna say 78,000 holes in one okay wow I took the over on 50 but I'm closer to like 60,000 I'm saying 37,200 okay kids yeah I'm in I was around 60,000 so I'll do 61,694 Ryan Ritson why don't you throw a guess in there unless you looked it up already

I did not I'm gonna go way higher I'm gonna say 95,000 a good estimate it says is roughly 130,000 to 145,000 holes in one per year in the United States of America it says only about 1 to 2% of golfers make a one in any given year the average ace maker has a 14 handicap and roughly 57% of aces are made by folks between a 10 and a 19 handicap it says on any average day across the US that's around 350 to 400 holes in one wow 356 holes in one a day that should get people some confidence like get out there and be one of them 356 people a day are are celebrating a lifelong achievement some guys are getting to I guess in one day

but on average 356 people a day a day they're out there man they're out there go get them make a ace we're on our way to sabonic right now for an outrageous barstool classic a top you know what is it a top 20 course in the world yeah just have cool the outrageous location the weather could not be better here on Long Island it's obviously a big moment to have one at a barstool classic I'm looking right now in my town which is only 40 minutes away from that first day it's 69 degrees and slightly cloudy I'm looking at blue skies right now it'll be even cooler out there out east it's going to be like a 68 70 degrees look at that out here on the perlite 5 minutes from the golf course 70 degrees and sunny God with that blue water come right off that nice summer out there in the Hamptons it is going to be perfect dude when we were out there in like late April early May and we would go into the

halfway house and then they had a photos of what the course looks like when it's absolutely perfect and that is right now it's like the golden hue of the fescue mixed in with that like luscious green grass mixed into the background of the sound and the water and the beach it's like God that's going to be sick tomorrow we got so we got two days and tonight we've got a party which like the party at sabonic when people have like I think a handful people have had a wedding there mat martin and sydney a size and be a one of them it's an outrageous feat to get your wedding at sabonic it's just the most picture perfect location you can possibly have especially that back patio that's where our party is tonight it's basically like a mini wedding right there's or derives there's food there's drinks we have the sunset there's music being played a whole a closest to the pin it's insane crazy and tomorrow for the second day we've got a group that consists of the New York Islanders my father and la dawnro who hates the New York Islanders and then jaw rule
