吉野選手には顔中にひげが生えている
吉野 トヨ子（よしの トヨこ、１９２０年２月１２日 – ２０１５年１月２４日）は、日本の陸上競技選手。ヘルシンキオリンピック・メルボルンオリンピック陸上女子円盤投代表。元円盤投日本記録保持者、五種競技日本記録保持者。
後年、吉野はマスターズ陸上に参加している。１９８７年の６７歳ではＷ６５クラスの円盤投げで日本マスターズ新記録を樹立し、３年後の１９９０年の７０歳ではＷ７０クラスでも新記録を樹立した。昔取った杵柄ではないが、生涯を通じてスポーツの分野で記録を出し続けながら、後輩たちに勇気を与える生き方を貫いた姿は立派である。９４歳で逝去。
