曲がったキュウリ
牧野 剛（まきの つよし、１９４５年９月２４日 – ２０１６年５月２０日）は、日本の評論家、市民運動家。河合塾講師。
河合塾の名物講師であった牧野剛は「曲がったキュウリ」を合い言葉に、弱者の視点に立って権力の腐敗を衝く姿勢は、多くの学生に共感を呼んだ。現在の立憲民主党の辻元清美は教え子である。曲がったキュウリは八百屋などで選別されてしまい、お店に並ばずに処分されてしまうことが多いが、まっすぐなキュウリと比べても味は変わらず、むしろ強いという意味である。それは弱者に向けての励ましの言葉である。牧野剛はまがったキュウリに未来を託そうとしたのだ。
