辰巳 渚 （ 1965年11月27日 ー2018年6月26日）は、文筆家、考現学者 。
東京都立立川高等学校、お茶の水女子大学文教育学部地理学科を卒業後、パルコに入社。マーケティング雑誌『月刊アクロス』の編集者および記者となる、その後筑摩書房の編集者を経て1993年にフリーとなる。
辰巳は「捨てる」ことにも技術が必要だということを教えた。技術とは、誰もが一定の訓練をすることで一定のレベルに達するものをいう。「捨てる」と「技術」という無関係のようにみえるものを組み合わせたところが非凡な発想だった。半年で100万部を突破するベストセラーとなった『「捨てる！」技術』は、その後、この路線の延長線上に「断捨離」などのブームを起こし、世の中を変えた。
