قال المتحدث باسم القائد العام للقوات المسلحة العراقية يحيى رسول، اليوم الخميس، إن الضربات الأمريكية المتكررة التي تستهدف قادة في الحشد الشعبي العراقي، تدفع الحكومة لإنهاء مهمة التحالف الذي تقوده الولايات المتحدة في البلاد.
وذكر في بيان أن الضربات "لا تكترث لحياة المدنيين وللقوانين الدولية. وهي بذلك تهدد السلم الأهلي، وتخرق السيادة العراقية، وتستخف وتجازف بحياة الناس".
