山地 進（やまじ すすむ、１９２５年５月１２日 – ２００５年５月２７日）は、総務事務次官を経て日本航空社長、会長。
１９９７年の私の宮城大への転出にあたって山地会長に挨拶に伺うと、「君は個性派だったからね。会社にとっては明らかに損失だが、本人にとっては、その方がいいだろう。教育は大切だからね」と励ましていただいた。「教育は大切だ」という言葉が耳にこだましながら仕事をし続けてもう２０年になる。
