古岡 秀人（ふるおか ひでと、１９０８年１２月１５日 – １９９４年５月１７日）は編集者、出版事業家。
古岡は社員には早くから「高齢化時代に社会貢献できることを用意しておきなさい」と語っていた。現在の学研ホールディングスは、「教育」を基軸に出版事業、塾事業、教材・教具の制作・販売、保育園の運営に加え、創業者の言葉通りに高齢者住宅、介護サービス等、医療福祉分野にも事業を展開している大企業となっている。今日の学研の隆盛は古岡秀人の時代を見る「目」が冴えていたことを証明している。時代をどう見るかが事業の成否を決める。
