Listen, it's the bird show. Patrick here is from Draft on Taft, man. What's going on, dude? How's it going? It's going great. How are you? Pretty good. Pretty good. Draft on Taft has been a tremendous, tremendous supporter of Burt's Big Adventure the last couple of years. Burt's Big Adventure, if you don't know, is the trip that we take down to Disney World every year. And we take kids that have chronic and terminal illnesses, and we bring them on down to Disney World. And we just get them away from hospitals and doctors, and we pay for everything, and we do it top notch all the way. Absolutely. We take the entire family because everybody in that family is affected by the illness, and we just feel like they need the chance to all get away together, go to the most magical place on earth, and just make those memories that are going to last a lifetime together. It's such a special trip, and it wouldn't be possible without the listeners and the delicious donations, and also donations from people like the guys on Draft on Taft. Big old parties like Draft on Taft. For those that don't know what Draft on Taft is, give them a little bit of the history and where you guys are today because this thing has grown

a lot the last couple of years. Yeah, it's been cool to watch it grow over the last 10 years, because when we really really started, it was just two groups of guys that lived in neighboring houses that lived right off Tastrate, and we were like, well, let's put together a party and invite all our friends. I think the first party we had, we had probably like 300 people, they came out, like, oh wow, this is great, this is fantastic. And then over the course of the years, things started affecting us. One of our friends had to stick their cancer. Some of the members of that originally started Draft on Taft had a heart condition. So we started creating this more as a fundraiser. And then as time grew over, we've increased the attendance. Now we're up to over 3000 people that come. One of the biggest things that we like to say is we go through about 170 kegs in about seven hours. Wow. Yeah. I have witnessed this. You've been a part of it. Yeah. I couldn't go this year, but last year I have witnessed this and it is quite a feat. How many would you go through if Pert wasn't there? One of the things that really impresses me is that when she

probably figured out where the money's going, we went to the kickoff party the last couple of years. For Burt's Big Adventure. For Burt's Big Adventure. And it is really fantastic. And it really drops home the point of actually giving the money back what we put all our effort into. Seeing the kids that come in on Limos, you guys give them DVD players. I took some videos of a little dance room. There's magicians, Cinderella's. Those limos aren't donated. We just take really rich kids. We've decided to go completely around. This is the point that he's making. His everything is top. And so, I mean, we could skimp on the whole thing and we could do it, you know, sort of bottom shelf, but we go all out, you know. Cooper gives us that limo that you're talking about and we do put DVDs in there and that takes a lot of money. So when draft on Taft, a party like this comes to us and says, look, every year we donate to a certain charity and we'd like it to be you guys this year. We jump for joy. And jump for joy. Yeah. That's a new one.

And they raised a ton of cash for us last year and they gave all they're giving all the money for Burt's Big Adventure this year as well. That's correct. Burt's Big, well, there's a certain donation that we give back to the Mentale Neighbors Association just for letting us have the event in their neighborhood just to be good neighbors. But 100% of the proceeds go to Burt's Big Adventure. That's really nice. Yeah. That's really nice. And it's not only the work from all the guys that helped do it, but it's the sponsors, just like you guys have sponsors for Burt's Big Adventure, we do too. And it's people like Budweiser and Tin Lizzy and Moes and Chains are the ones that help us really put the event together. Yeah. This is an event where you walk in the door there and everything's taken care of you. Pay at the door and then the Budweiser is flowing all day long. Yep. Leave your wallet at home. So how'd you guys do this year? This year was good. We're pretty excited to be donating $20,000 to Burt's Big Adventure. That's incredible. That's more than incredible. That's more than incredible. A $20,000 check for Burt's Big Adventure goes a really

long way because we only take like 12 or 13 families. So a $20,000 check for our organization. It's probably four families worth or something like that. It's fantastic. So thanks a lot, man. You guys have been so good to us over the years. And it's a great party. And I urge you to go next year and check it out. Yeah, we're looking forward to working with you guys next year. It's every year in the springtime, right? Yeah, we usually do it the weekend after Memorial Day. Okay, okay. Gotcha. And it's just it's just if you think you're just going to dabble in this party, if you're going to go for an hour and a half, you can forget about that. It's something you have to train for. Like all your wallet, you got to practice your bar crawls and all that stuff before you get a draft on tap. So will it be in the same place next year? Same place. Right on Charles Allen, right across from Pima Park on 10th and Charles Allen between 10th and 8th Street. Okay, great. So we'll put all the information up online and again, thanks to all the dudes that you always bring with you. Every year from draft on tap and a $20,000 check for Birch Big Adventure. It's a great reason to go on party. Yeah, totally. All right. And if you want more information on Birch Big Adventure, also,

we can always use cash. It doesn't have to be 20,000. That's nice. That's really nice. But we need kids too. So if you need, if you think you know a kid that qualifies for Birch Big Adventure, just send them to the birchho.com or BirchBigAdvacher.org. That's a fact. Appreciate it. Thanks. This is the birchho. With the football season underway, it's time to see how your predictions are shaping up CalShi.
