Chronic migraine, 15 or more headache days a month, each lasting four hours or more, can make me feel like a spectator in my own life. Botox, on a botulinum toxin A, prevents headaches and adults with chronic migraine. It's not for those with 14 or fewer headache days a month. It's the number one prescribed branded chronic migraine preventive treatment. Prescription Botox is injected by your doctor. Effects of Botox may spread hours to weeks after injection causing serious symptoms. Alerture doctor right away is difficulty swallowing, speaking, breathing, eye problems or muscle weakness can be signs of a life-threatening condition. Patients with these conditions before injection are at highest risk. Side effects may include allergic reactions, neck and injection site pain, fatigue and headache. Allergic reactions can include rash, welts, asthma symptoms and dizziness. Don't receive Botox if there's a skin infection. Tell your doctor your medical history, muscle or nerve conditions, including ALS Lugeric's disease, Myasthenia Gravis, or Lambert Eaton Syndrome, and medications, including botulinum toxins, as these may increase the risk of serious side effects. Why wait? Ask your doctor, visit BotoxCronicMigraine.com or call 1-800-44 Botox to learn more. Time for a stick. Catch up on BC politics with the help of vom Palmer from the Vancouver Sun.

Good morning, Vaughan. Hey, good morning, Sydney. All right, so let's talk about this announcement that is coming today because, technically, it's Alberta pre-Mew Daniel Smith, Prime Minister Mark Carney, but this has a BC impact. Yeah, they're going to build a new pipeline to the West Coast, along the same route similar to the TMX pipeline. We know that. They're talking about a facility that will load, they're going to have two births for big super tankers. It will carry a million barrels of oil a day. There will be a tank farm to store the oil. And it's going to go, we've been told this, Sydney. I keep going where the hell are they going to put it, but they say Roberts Bank. So, you know, you'll haul a map of it and you have a look, well, we got a ferry terminal there, the U.S. border, right at the ferry terminal. You've got the Tuassan First Nation. They've got a big housing project along the water there. Then you've got a coal port. Then you've got a container terminal that is scheduled for massive

expansion. And then you're at the moment of the Fraser River. So again, it'll be interesting to see what they say. I think if there's going to be any controversy over this thing, and I think there'll be a lot of it here in BC, where are they going to put it? That's the big question, really. Yeah, and I am so curious about the timeline for this. It sounded like, you know, the way Danielle Smith was talking about it, they want it to be a done deal, but could it be a done deal that fast? Well, I'm like, it just seems like it's come, it happened so quickly. No, I think they're going to refer it to the Prime Minister is going to designated a project of national interest. That affects the long-term prospects with the courts, because the courts have said that with projects of national interest, then First Nations claims, obstruction, challenges, all that, don't have the same impact. You're allowed to overrule First Nations

interests, some project of national interest. That's all kind of hypothetical, Simeon. I'm not saying that's definitive, but that's the reason you have the designation. Now politically, we'll be waiting to see, of course, what the major parties running out here are going to say about this, I think, conservatives will support the idea they have in the past. The premiums have been interesting on this, right? He did that big deal with the Prime Minister, $20 billion deal, and he said, look, we're not going to fight TMX expansion in court anymore. He said, he said, we learned a very expensive way that we don't have a legal leg to stand on, e.b. himself as Attorney General under John Horgan filed all kinds of court challenges to TMX expansion. He lost every case. So they can't fight it in court, but that still leaves an open question as I say around, you're going to have this massive oil shipment terminal added to the Roberts Bank area.

I think it's highly likely you're going to have environmental reviews, Indigenous challenges, and I will be very surprised, Simeon, if at the end of the day we're saying this is a done deal. I think we've got a long way to go before this thing actually gets built. Okay, and let's talk about the announcement that we do know that is being built that is going ahead, which is the LNG Canada one. And you asked the question, did Donald Trump notice? You know, it's a fascinating development here. So we got the big LNG Canada phase two project going ahead, big announcement, Tuesday, and the head of Shell, the main partner in the project came out and said, look, we've learned recently, you can't take energy supplies for granted. He said phase one of LNG Canada has already filled the gap of supplies of LNG to Asia because of the disruption of supplies in the Middle East. Obviously thinking about the war, the Donald Trump started there that led to blockages

in the state of horror movies. So yesterday Donald Trump calls a news conference in the Oful Office to say that he's lined up support from South Korea for a $54 billion that US dollars, by the way, pipeline natural gas through Alaska. So 1300 kilometers, he's now it's politics in the US. They're in the middle of their midterm elections, the Republicans, Senator in Alaska's in serious trouble. He's there on the platform with Donald Trump. And they say, South Korea is behind this. We're going to have our own LNG coming out of Alaska. Now, that's interesting for a couple of reasons. First of all, South Korea is saying they're not 100% committed to the Alaska project. Yet, they're still studying it. Well, Sydney, South Korea is one of the five partners.

Korea gas, the big South Korean gas company, one of the five partners in LNG Canada. And David E.B. has been defending LNG Canada expansion. And one of the things he said repeatedly is if we don't do it, the Alaskans will do it. So we are doing it. It's going ahead to Alaska project. Trump's Alaska project is still kind of iffy and up in the air. So we don't get very many days where we can say in your face Donald Trump, but on this one, I think we get. Okay, so you were putting the pieces together there. You think that in the United States, that that's their way of saying we noticed this, but we're not going to give you the credit that we noticed this. Yeah, I think so. Look, a big story. The last two days, the Wall Street Journal has really taken notice of this. They did a piece saying, Mark Carney is moving to make

Canada an energy superpower. And he's doing it in response to what's going on with the US, what's going on in the Middle East. And they've said he's well positioned to do this. Wall Street Journal today is reporting the deal shall vastly expanding its production in Canada. Again, Canada is in a position to wean itself off overdependence virtually all of oil and gas coast of the states. So we're now going to be able to switch ship double shipments to Asia. And as I said, you know, whatever you think of the Republicans, they do read the Wall Street Journal. And I expect they have taken notice at what's going on. Chronic Migraine 15 or more headache days a month each lasting four hours or more can make me feel like a spectator in my own life. Up here. Talking BC politics with Vom Palmer from the Vancouver Sun, let's talk candidates here in this provincial election campaign. I'm still getting emails every day announcing more candidates. Are they done this process yet? No, and this is a big day looming. October 3rd, which is Saturday, you have to have your paperwork in to be a candidate to run in the provincial election. It still needs approval by elections BC, and that can take a little longer, but you've basically, it's got to be done Saturday. So I went on the elections BC site this morning. This is as of last night. They're well short of a full slate of candidates. Everybody is. The NDP is maybe not surprising. They did kind of have a head start on this process in their heads anyway. So 93 seats in the legislature. The NDP has 45 candidates approved. As I read the list this morning, so that's about

halfway. The conservatives were somewhat preoccupied with their own internal shenanigans for a while, so they're not quite there yet. They say 36 approved the other parts. So the Greens 8 out of 93. Yeah. One BC, one out of 93, and center BC, two out of 93. Now, the parties say these numbers are approved by elections BC. They've got a lot more applications in. I'll take their word for it. This list is being updated every day, so we'll have a different list tomorrow and a different list on Saturday. But all this matters, I mean, first of all, it matters because are you going to have a candidate on the ballot when you get your ballot to vote for in the party that you want to support? I think the big two NDP and conservatives will be at full list. I think they'll hit 93.

But the other reason it matters is the election debate. So there will be a televised election debate or media bosses have already been discussing this. What they do, Simi, and you know, this impasse experience is they have two or three criteria that they apply. First of all, are you in official party and legislature represented there? And then they look at things like, especially if you use it true for new parties. You're running a full slate or close to it. How you doing in the opinion polls? And they apply those criteria. And that determines whether or not there will be two leaders sitting on the TV set for the debate or possibly Simi five leaders. So that would be the Greens 1BC, Center of VC, NDP and conservatives. So it's too soon to say, but it's really, it could really matter if the smaller parties lacking resources and late entry and competing with

municipal parties for candidates and all those reasons, they fall well short of a full slate. It'll affect polling, it'll affect the election, it'll affect the debate. And you said to me a little while ago, Simi, calling a provincial election in the middle of a civic election, was that part of a deliberate strategy by the NDP? And one hates to be too cynical, but you know, you can't, you attempted to think of it. Because on the one hand, you've got these municipal candidates who are very mad about this and rightfully so because it distracts with it on the other, you have a bunch of municipal candidates who are jumping ship to try to run in the provincial election. Yeah, and the drop dead date, I think, for municipal candidates, they made the point about this at the Union of BC municipalities meeting, was like almost just two or three days before David E.B. called the election. So you had to make up your mind very quickly, whether you wanted to get

out of the civic and into the provincial. You can actually run in both, there isn't a specific rule against it. So it's possible, there are some people again, it's too soon to really... There are, there's one in Surrey, because I did get an email from somebody about that. There's a candidate and they've scary-tinned who's running for school trustee and is also a BC conservative candidate up there. And we know Henry Yow dropped out of the mayor's race in Richmond and he's now running provincially. So, oh, by the way, there is one independent who is qualified to run that's Jordan Keely. So he had some... Well, there's a legal issue involving him and any of Andy's in Peace River and he is running as an independent. And there are obviously some names we've heard out there who aren't officially approved yet to run. For example, I didn't see Andrew Weaver is running in the bay. So you've had all kinds of people announce that they're running. We assume their paperwork is in. We assume that these are a lot of assumptions of elections BC will approve

and well, I would say even come Saturday. I expect the field will have filled out quite a bit. And then early next week we'll find out what the final numbers are. I believe the date for the televised debate is not next week, but the middle of the week after. And that would put it about 10 days before the date of the provincial election. Oh, but and just a couple of days before the municipal election. Yes, Bob. Thank you. Thanks, Jimmy. Bye-bye. Ready to transform your career in real time from where you are?
