Watching the replay, Matt, of AJ Brown's ankle. It does not look great. And Dr. David Chow on Twitter said, AJ Brown concerned for right high ankle sprain potential. So keep that in mind. We've already seen Sam Darnel leave this game and not return with a hip injury. And now AJ Brown holding his right ankle in his Patriots debut could potentially be dealing with a severe ankle injury. You know, it's interesting to me tonight. So far we saw the Seahawks put so much pressure on Drake May in the Super Bowl. And that's not happening tonight, Tim. Now we talked about this Seattle defense is down a little bit of a manpower tonight. But they're just not putting pressure on the quarterback like they did. Now the Patriots are running the ball quite a bit. And by the way, there's a quick screen that is blown up for right loss.

2:03That was not a great play called by Josh McDaniels. But the Patriots in the Super Bowl, Drake May was under fire the whole time. And that really is not in the case tonight. But we'll see if they can get some more points on the board here. Gotta get a positive play on third down. Boy, that play was going nowhere blown assignment on the offensive line. And that play had no chance. Third down. And I believe what are we looking at here about third and 12? Yeah, that looks to be the case. 13 15 actually. Third and 15. Three minutes into the third quarter at the 43 yard line. If you pick up seven yards here, you feel it. You got a feel going to get a 10 Z role lead. Is he going to challenge? I don't know. No idea what Mike Brable is upset about.

We'll see how aggressive. Josh McDaniel's is with this play call, but again, no AJ Brown out there. So Drake made down a receiver. There's a screen to the right. And that's just meant to be a short game. Yeah. A shorter field goal attempt. And that's going to be. 48 yard field goal attempt coming up here with about 12 and a half minutes ago.

I don't think so. Probably not. I think 75 to 80 would be my guess. I think it gets to 80. But Matt we've got 90 but 100 is going to be a lot to ask in that contest. So one question is will there be an overlay in the circa million contest. 5,000 three entries right now. I got to get to 6000. I think it's going to get very close to that 6000 number. So not much an overlay if anything in that contest. I do think as we get to the weekend you're going to see a rush of signups here. Folks maybe who live locally who are just saying I'm not going to sign up until I need to. In the last second. But Matt we've got a little advice here. Who is the advice from as you look into playing contests this year? Yeah, circus sports put this out and I thought it's pretty good. It's a compilation of different contestants who have been in these circuit contests before.

Try to go week to week. The NFL is a very very difficult sport and anything can happen any Sunday. I would say just trust your guy. Don't be afraid to take a rest. Get a little weird. Have fun with it. I would say look at tools out there. Survivor Atlas is a really great tool. They've got a great map and other tools on their website. And I would say just face your strategy on how many entries you have. If you have one entry, play it like you're in Vendizimo with multiple. Scatter the board a little bit but just be confident. When you pick that team. If they lose can I look myself in the mirror? And be okay with this decision. And at the answers, he asked go ahead and pull the trigger. Pay attention to the holiday weeks. And then during the week. Survive. But most importantly have fun.

7:10The best contest in the whole sports gambling. Anyone can win. Let's have a good time. You made a good choice. No. The Meatball Brothers, they were the second to last person on the screen there. Former runner up in our contest. And he's going to be back on Friday nights. So I always look forward to Tony's NFL handicap. And I think he's about to sharpen his against. And we saw the fullback get involved there for the Seattle Seahawks. So the first play of the second half offensively for the Seahawks, a positive gainer for the Seattle Seahawks. Ten to nothing is the score right now, Matt. As the New England Patriots with the lead, they just showed AJ Brown with no helmet walking off the field. And see if Jadarian Price gets involved again. 9:12Which being down ten points is not ideal for running props there. No, it's not. Especially when you lose three yards on a play like that too. I really think as much as you want this running prop to get over the Seahawks, they can start throwing the ball. They got to start throwing the ball down field to loosen things up. You got to throw the ball vertically to loosen the running lanes up. And the Seahawks are just not grasping that concept right now. And they say, well, they got Drew Lock and Eric quarterback. He can throw the ball down field. He threw it on the money, Jackson Smith and Jigman on that 21-yard pass. It was good to throw as anybody in the NFL is going to make. Seahawks do throw it there. And the lock wants an interference penalty and not going to get it. Third and 13 with a little over 10 minutes to go in the third quarter here. Yeah, this is it. And right now the Seattle Seahawks, a little bit of desperation mode, especially after the Patriots able to kick a field goal just a moment ago. Yeah, I'm not sure what I would do with this live betting right now, but Seahawks are going to get the five yards here on an offside penalty by the Patriots. So third and 13 becomes third and eight and Croachment penalty. And that makes us third down a little bit more manageable. I would still play over the total of 26 and a half. I know it doesn't look that way right now, but Seahawks are going to get much more aggressive here and start throwing the ball. They're behind 10-0. They got to get aggressive. Patriots first penalty tonight, one for five yards. That's it. The Seahawks have 83 yards and penalties. And that's been a big factor in the game tonight. Critical, critical penalties for the Seattle Seahawks, passing her fear it's in the end zone.

11:20And right now Rashit Shaheed near the middle of the field, Matt. Big decision here from Mike McDonald. Does he going to go for it on fourth and what three near midfield? Three. I'm going to guess he's a defensive guy. He didn't want to pose defensive bad position. I think he's here to kick it away. Matt, we got a big one on Saturday between Oklahoma and Michigan. 12:26Three game. What do you think the odds could have been? For a baseball game to be a higher scoring than this football game, I don't know, 50 to 1. Right now looks like it could happen. What's the score of the Mets Marlins game, Tim? The New York Mets and the Marlins and the bottom of the ninth inning with men on first and second. It is 15 to 14 right now. In this game, as we're facing a third and long for the New England Patriots with a eight and change to go, 10 nothing Patriots over the Seattle Seahawks, I believe the last time I checked this game, it was 15 to 10. Right now we'll see if the New York Mets can close it out. A game that neither team has anything to do with postseason, but it's kind of interesting. I've said this many times, you get two bad teams together. Sometimes you can get wildly entertaining games. That's what you got with the Mets and the Marlins tonight. Credit to the Mets for going for that two-point conversion to take the 15-14 lead.

13:26Drake May here on third and 11 and the shotgun Patriots, you're not going to punt this right back to Seahawks and give them good field position, but that's exactly what's going to happen here. Short completion out to the 10 and it's going to be a punt for the Patriots on fourth and five, eight minutes to go in the third. That's why Mike McDonald punted that ball around midfield. Let his defense go to work and get his offense good field position here. I would bet on the Seahawks getting points on the board on this drive, Ten. Live total right now in this game, 25 and a half. Let's go over. Just keep slamming the over. Eventually it's going to come home. Matt, you know what, the Euro, there's 17-10 final score tonight. How about that? You know where there's a low total this weekend, Matt. In Ann Arbor, total 43 and a half between Oklahoma and Michigan. Over the summer, Michigan was the favorite in game of the year lines. Now there are five and a half point underdog. Let's hear from Rick Newheisel on his thoughts.

14:27If Michigan can overcome a ugly performance in week one. Listen, Michigan has too much pride in their program to not go back to work this week and try to do everything they can to fix what's broken. Unfortunately, their quarterback situation is one that is not going to be consistent until more time goes by and they arrive on the perfect formula for run pass with Bryce Underwood. A new coordinator there watching him play under the lights for the first time now has some idea. And that's going to be the key. Their defense is going to have to play lights out, taking materials legs away, although they were not on display in week one. And then they're going to have to make sure that Bryce Underwood is not putting the team in harm's way. And that's meaning using his legs before his feet. I think it's a 13-7 Michigan win. 13-7? Wow. 13-7 Rick Newheisel. They just won 13-12 last week.

15:28Yeah, I don't know. I figured we have a higher scoring game than that. I guess Newheisel's going to fire on the under. Oh, it sounds like it. By the way, good field position. You said Seattle will score on this drive. Good field position inside New England territory. All right, Matt, you know I love them. Situational spots. I also love sandwiches. 16:30Where FCS Villanova will be waltzing their way into Louisville, Kentucky as a 37 and a half point underdog. This is a short week for Louisville. They played on Sunday night. Mm hmm. Now they're playing on a Friday night. And what's on deck, Matt? A home game. In a big spot against SMU. So a Sunday night loss to Ole Miss in a big spot on national television. Down 14 came back tied the game. Trented Ed Chambley's leads a game winning field goal drive. Next week they host SMU and what could be the game that gets one of those two teams in the driver's seat to make the ACC championship. Is Jeff Brahms squad going to be buttoned up to win by 38 or more points against. The Wildcats of Villanova. I would guess probably not, but I mean Louisville could be up 31-0 and a half time in this game.

17:32The thing for Brahms, he's going to want to pull his key guys off the field at some point. This SMU game's a monster coming up. This is a huge game in the ACC race. Louisville cannot afford to lose that game next week or lose any key players to injury here. So I think it's one of these games, Tim, where you get a big lead. If you're Jeff Brahms, you put the car on cruise control and you pull a bunch of guys off the field. So it'd be dog or a pass for me here, by the way. Louisville, I was thinking, well, the Cardinals' defense face a better quarterback all season than Trented Ed Chambley's. Maybe they're in Metsa. They're in Metsa. Miami. In the ACC championship game, that might be it. Trented Ed Chambley's how impressive was he in that game. I don't know if you had a chance to watch it. You were in Wisconsin or if you recorded the game at all. That kid can make plays. He is a really talented quarterback. He's got to get defensive coordinators, nightmares, because you know, you can do everything right and play breaks down and he's fast. He's got wheels and he can get out and make things happen on the run as well.

18:35He was my number one quarterback coming into college football. Not pro prospect, but number one quarterback. You got the essay. I think you ranked it right. If you asked me today as a college coach, would I rather have Trented Ed Chambley's or anyone else? I'm taking Chambley's. Daryl and Metsa's a hell of a quarterback at Miami, but I would take Chambley's over archmaning. I take him, I mean, once again, CJ Carr, better pro prospect, but I take Trented Ed Chambley's dual threat ability there. Love the dual threat. All right, Matt. You mentioned, we mentioned SMU. That's a huge game. SMU played on Monday night down in Florida State won that game 27-24. Good win for the ponies. They've got a trip to Louisville on deck. So what do they have this week? A home game against UC Davis. Another FCS team. UC Davis folks just pointing this out. Number seven in the country in the FCS. Pretty good team, actually. Pretty good program. Heading down to SMU. Short week again.

19:35You beat Florida State. It was a delayed game. You were kind of sloppy. So I think Rhett Lashley might have his team a little bit more focused. But this is a weird spot here with Louisville on deck. You get an FCS opponent. Is it a sluggish start after a short week getting ready for the seventh ranked FCS program in college football? I'm really tempted to play UC Davis here. And, you know, Tim, there's a variety of ways you could get a cover. You could get a back door in the fourth quarter when SMU gets a big lead. And they take Kevin Jennings and most of the starters off the field. Or you could just catch the mustangs to sleep at the wheel. They might be sluggish off the big win at Florida State. And, you know, I mean, that had to be a draining game with everything that went on Monday night in Tallahassee. And then when you got Louisville on deck, you really think that the SMU players are focused all on UC Davis. They're thinking about the Florida State game a few days ago and looking ahead the Louisville next week. A game that's got ACC championship type implications.

20:37They're looking right past UC Davis. UC Davis, probably they're super bowl, Matt. One other game for the Delhi, for the Delhi this week. Let's update Cooper Cup with a heck of a catch. Biggest play of the day for Seattle, Matt. As Cooper Cup makes the catch from Drew Locke, how long of a connection was this? Wow, one handed catch, Cooper Cup. Does he complete the catch? Sure does. Sure does. Inside the 15 yard line there, Cooper Cup. Hell of a catch there. All right, Matt, one other spot. Got Ole Miss. What a win. National television, Trinidad Chambles drives his team down the field, boop, came winning field gold. Next week, the game of all games. Ole Miss hosting their former coach, Lane Kiffin. And what do they have to do this week, Matt? They got to face a team that lost to the Citadel and triple overtime. They're laying 47 and a half. Now, if Lane was still at Ole Miss, I'd say probably not.

Doesn't this feel like 45 to 3? 42 to 3? Sleepy type of game. Look, when you're taking 47 and a half points, where the team would just lost to the damn Citadel, it's a little bit nerve-wracking, but damn, that's a lot of points for a team, Matt, that has a huge game on deck. Do you dare dance with the Niners on Sunday or Saturday? Torch O'Lonney just ran the ball again, Tim. That's what you upset. But tomorrow, I want to find out tomorrow on the V-Syn College Football betting podcast. If you were going to play the dog in all three of these sandwich spots. There's some tempting sandwiches. Field goal. Ten three with three minutes to go in the third quarter. We went to break. We were excited just because it looked like we might have a better game going on. Still 10-3 now the score. Well, the Seahawks will not be shut out but do get on the board over. That would have if you did bet it 25 and a half is the live total right now. Patriots minus 535 on the money line. Seahawks plus 375. Want to update folks on what's happening in Milwaukee? Is this game still going on? The Milwaukee Brewers were up 8-1, Matt. In the top of the ninth inning, it is now 8-6 with two outs in the top of the ninth inning. The tying run is at the plate and the man on deck is going to be your MVP.

24:42So they should probably get the nine hole hitter right now because the Brewers who have ripped the hearts out of the Cubs in the first two games of this series now are on the verge of potentially squandering a seven run lead in the ninth inning as BJ Murray Jr. With his one hit this year is at the dish for the Chicago Cubs. We saw the San Francisco Giants blow away six run, ninth inning lead a couple weeks ago. I believe on a Friday night they were up 9-3 and lost 10-9. And right now the Brewers are trying to pull off something similar. Patriots get a big play here in the first down. All right, so under three minutes ago in the third quarter Patriots lead 10-3, your games only touched down. Once again, coming courtesy of rookie tight end Eli Raredin. A couple of folks including Pauli Howard and the madman, Chris Masero, had large tickets on Eli Raredin to score the games for the first time.

25:50So well done by them. And that is where we sit right now. Only touchdown courtesy of Eli Raredin, 10-3. This game has been a dead under game so far. And we will see how it continues to play out here in the closing minutes of the third ball. Very similar to the Super Bowl except the different team is leading. All right, third late third quarter into Super Bowl. I believe the C-Hoxle had 12-0. And now the late third quarter tonight Patriots lead 10-3. So you know what, these matchups between these teams have been so boring. It'd be okay if we don't see the Patriots in C-Hoxle again for a long time. Matt, tomorrow night we get the 49ers against the Rams. Tomorrow night, our time, it'll be Friday morning in Australia. We heard from Ryan Radke, who will be on the radio call. On Westwood 1, it'll be Ryan Radke and Isaac Bruce calling that game down in Australia. I thought it was an interesting take from Ryan regarding the travel. He said, you know, initially he thought they were crazy,

26:51but after he made the travel down to Australia with his family, he said, it's not the craziest thing in the world. So he doesn't anticipate it being that big of an issue for the Los Angeles Rams to kind of show and go this game down in Australia. Let's say he said, Rams are flying first class. We saw the accommodations today. I mean, that's as easy as you can make a flight to Australia. I believe it was just under 15 hours, right? And Rams are not going to worry about adjusting to Australia and the different time zones. It's going to pretend that they're still on Pacific time. Go out and play the game and fly right back to LA afterwards. I've just been so much talk about which team is approaching this the right way. I initially thought it was probably the 49ers. I don't know if it's going to be a big deal either way. I just think this game is going to play out on the field. And... As we get a second, it's going to be a lot of... No matter whoever wins, it's going to be second guessing, right?

27:53About did they do it the right way? Did they do it the wrong way? It's going to be decided on the field. I don't think it's going to be a big difference. So someone who's traveled halfway across the world, I didn't experience any differences with my body clock in the first day or the first week I was there. I wasn't playing your football game, but again, I don't think that's going to be a big factor tomorrow night. I actually just believe Kyle Shanahan has been really good against Sean McVeigh. 11 and 8, head to head matchups. I think Brock Purti played a little bit in the preseason. He looked pretty good to me when he played. He's got George Kiddell, Christian McCaffrey. Yeah, I know the 90ers have a lot of injuries on defense, and that's definitely a negative, but... I expect this to be a competitive game tomorrow night, Tim. I think the Rams are a little bit overhyped right now. Aaron Donald did not make the trip. Miles Garrett didn't practice in the month of August. Matthew Stafford didn't take a snap in the preseason. I'm not sure if the Rams are going to be ready to fire when this game starts on Thursday night, which would be Friday and Australia,

28:53but I took to Ford 49ers, and I feel pretty good about that. I did too. Ford's still available at circus, so you and I are riding together. How about a nice job at the New England Patriots? There was an illegal block, Matt. Third in 19, they chipped away with a short pass, and then got a third-down conversion. It was all out blitz from the Seahawks. Screen pass gets him the first down. So the New England Patriots will keep the ball, Matt. They get a big third-down conversion, and after three quarters, 10 to three is our score. Live total is dipped under 23 and a half. Tim, would you play it over? I feel like at some point, we've been talking about this all night, and I never bet it over the total. I kept thinking about doing it, but didn't do it. I would still wouldn't be surprised if it goes over. This game's got to open up in the fourth quarter a little bit. Nice job there by the Patriots. They were in a big hole, and to dig out of that and get that first down, that's got a sting, Mike McDonald, really who's a defensive wizard.

29:54It looked like he was going to be able to get a stop there with his defense, and it did not happen. That's one I thought to see Hux had to get, because they were starting to grab. I thought pulled a momentum back from New England, but the Patriots keep it here as we go to the fourth quarter, with a timeout on the field, Tim. 10 to three is the score. By the way, the final score in Milwaukee 8 to 6 as the brewers able to close it out and complete a sweep of the Chicago Cubs, Matt. Now, a 10-game lead. 10-game lead from Milwaukee. 10, I gave it a 10-game lead. All right, Matt. I know your favorite media personality. Stephen A. Smith is someone you like to rely on for his insight and his wisdom. I said it's very rare when I agree with screaming A. Smith about anything. But do you agree with them here? 30:54How yes. Hell yes. There's no question about it. I mean, I mean, I hate using a word rigged particularly in this day and age and this climate that we're living in, but damn it, if it works like a duck and quacks like a duck, it ain't a damn mango. You know what it is? What about the synchronization of the clocks? The game clock and the clock that the officials will watch it or whatever. What the hell is that about? How the hell are you not on the same page as it pertains to that? It's two different clocks that they will refer to. Nobody should be buying that nonsense, no mistake about it. They're talking about he touched the ball when it was still one second left, even though he was out of bounds. Well, wait a minute. The clock showed zero. And he hadn't touched the ball. I don't know what the hell they're talking about. That's not what I saw. I saw Dan and Paul talking about this one. Get up. Absolutely right. I'm not here to disagree with anything about that. It's an absolute joke. There's no question about it. And as far as I'm concerned, Michigan can get shit suffer and the rank is they were future offensively. They couldn't control the office. Couldn't move the ball. Couldn't do a damn thing. They look at their defense showed up. They were 27 and I have point favorite.

31:56Okay. And you ended almost ended up losing this game. 27 and a half point favorite. And not only do you only end up losing this game, you were down 12, 7 until that final Hail Mary Play. Okay. I'm not buying it one bit. It's absolutely ridiculous that they came to that conclusion. And then to hear big 10 officials explaining it, I'm like, wait a minute. What about what's in Michigan? Who do they have support them? I think we need to find out how much Western Michigan got paid. I mean, Michigan paid them. You know, they got some money off of this game or whatever. Western Michigan certainly benefited financially, right? I'm assuming that's the case. I do not know. The reason I'm bringing that up because they should have raised Holy Hell in the aftermath of this outcome. And they didn't do so. They came across to me from the coach to the president and beyond as a university that was concerned that if they made too much noise, it would be a bad reflection on Michigan and they would pay a price.

32:56Deep throw down the sideline. We got an interception, Matt. So just like that, this game is interesting again. As the Seattle Seahawks get an interception and a 30 plus yard return. So boom, just like that. Seahawks get the ball back, Matt. And now you're looking at a live number of four and a half in favor of the New England Patriots after Drake makes, excuse me, tries to force a throw down the far sideline. Yeah, you know, I don't blame him here because he had a chance to make a play. But the DBs made a better play and they picked it off off the deflection there. And this could turn the game around here, headed into the fourth quarter. By the way, I agree what screaming A Smith was saying. 37:05And I really like everything that's going on at UCLA with Bob Chesney taking over. Obviously coming over from James Madison. And I thought that was UCLA's advantage last week. Simply put, I thought the coaching staff. They've really brought a lot of talent into Westwood. And I like Bob Chesney and that coaching staff. I think he's a bet on coach. And I thought because of that staff, Tim, that UCLA was going to be a little bit further ahead than Cal when the season started. They were just a little bit further ahead. It was all Bruins in the fourth quarter in Berkeley and Troy Ackman, a former UCLA quarterback likes what he sees from Bob Chesney. It's been a tough. Gosh, been a long time for UCLA and I heard you talking about Michigan and you guys have been competitive and won a national championship and all that. But I'm a big supporter of UCLA and we hired Bob Chesney. And this was his first game as the UCLA head coach. And as someone who's been around a lot of really great coaches, you just kind of know when someone has it.

38:05And this guy has it and he's proven it everywhere that he's been. And it was such a great hire for UCLA and it was a big win to go on the road. And I think for a lot of these teams, you raise the expectations for your university and for your football team. And then you go into week one. And if you don't have success, I think sometimes things tend to fall a little flat. So it was a big win for us. Super excited about him and what he's going to do for the program. UCLA Matt takes on San Diego State at the Rose Bowl this way. At least no play at the Rose Bowl. They moved to Sofie. They're at the Rose Bowl. No, I know there was talks about the Rose Bowl. I got canceled. Okay, I was just I was just double check it. I don't want to. There's a threat of a lawsuit and a lot of things that went on there and UCLA still playing in Pasadena. I was actually initially planning to go to this game. I've been traveling too much. I need to stay in town for NFL week one.

39:06So I'm not going to go. I'm going to go out to Pasadena next week when Purdue plays UCLA. I think Bruins are going to be three and oh, I the gate. And the way the schedule sets up Tim. With that big win in Berkeley, don't put the season really good chance for UCLA to go over those win totals of five and a half and six and a half. Yeah, he's got nine. Julian love reads the eyes of Drake May and Julian love. The Notre Dame products with an interception Matt and two picks for Drake May and the Seattle Seahawks. Now minus two sixteen on the live line. They were like four to one just a little while ago, maybe even plus four fifty. And now the Seattle Seahawks Matt with a chance to come back and dare I say cover the number. There you say it because this decent chance is going to happen right now. Drake May throws two picks and this game has flipped in favor of the Seahawks. Ty game ball into 32 yard line first down for Seattle. Why is the offense marching back here? What's going on?

42:09They're going to say that he was touched on the ground. I don't think he was not touched. Was he? I don't think so, but the ever slightest fingernail could potentially bring you back. Oh, they're pushing it all the way back to the 47 yard line. I want to see the replay on that. It looked like the receiver fell down. How did he took? Maybe that pass was intercept. I don't know. He was able to get a decent return there, but 920 to go, man. The conclusion of this game will be handled by the one and only Dustin Sweedelson with caching out and plenty of other insights. But man, Romeo Dobbs dropped the ball. Wow. Just a brutal drop by the New England Patriot, New Wide receiver. And now that Seattle Seahawks with the ball. With Jadari and Price in the backfield. Patriots gets a bit of a break there instead of the ball at the 32. It's going to be at the 47. I don't know. Did his foot get touched when he went down after the pick price around the right end.

43:11And that's a nice run for about five yards. Tim, when it looked like he might get nothing. Jackson Smith and Jigba, the big play just a little while ago on fourth down. A catch across the middle. By the way, Jadari and Price nearing his rushing prop here tonight. I did not play rushing yards. So of course, he'll probably go over the rushing yards. Ten carries for 52 yards for the rookie. That's it. Well, you had 51 and a half as a prop. It was a 50 or 50 and a half. But he could also take a loss here in Denver now. So we need three more carries from Jadari and Price to get over this prop here. He remains in the game, even though they have been infatuated with George Halani tonight. As he will not get the cat carry here. But that'll be all right. That's a nice play. AJ Barnard roll out, throw the Barnard, the tight end first down. How about getting the ball in the hands of Jackson Smith and Jigba? Probably not a bad idea. Not a bad idea. Jadari and Price and Smith and Jigba, I think you're two guys. You want to focus on here. Seahawks anyway in position to take a lead with a field goal eight minutes to go.

44:13Ten, ten. How this game has completely flipped on its head, Matt. The Seattle Seahawks were down ten, nothing. No life drew lock in for the injured Sam Darnold. injuries in this game.
