For many people, renting is a convenient option. It offers flexibility and may require less responsibility for maintenance, but only the home can offer a different set of long-term benefits. Instead of paying rents with landlord each month, homeowners are investing in a property that can potentially increase in value over time. That means your home may become an asset as you continue to live in it. Home ownership can also provide more control over your living space from decorating to renovations that really fit your lifestyle. And here's something that many people don't realize. There are education programs and financial assistance options available for first time home buyers. Some of these programs even offer grant funding that may help cover part of the upfront cost and grants typically don't have to be repaid. That's why learning about home ownership options can be an important step toward making the best decision for you and your family. To learn more, visit toolsforhomeownership.com

You want to go through a couple game day. Yeah, why not? We can do some rapid fire. Oh, yeah, trust me, man. I'm always you didn't just say that earlier in the segment. No, no, no, I am always quick with it. Let's do it. Okay. We psyched you out. The game day, dubs, the who, the what, the when, the where, the why? Panthers at Browns, week three. Let's start with the who and I'm not talking about Pete Townsend. I can only use that joke one more time. The who, Floundy, who you most worried about on Cleveland's roster? Player coach, who are you most worried about? Well, a guy that you're not worried about, Carson Swaychinger. Now I'm just kidding. I would say the guy that I am most worried about. I don't see, I want to say two guys, but I'm just going to go with one. I would say Denzel Ward, best corner for this Cleveland Browns team. We talked about it a little bit yesterday, man. Bryce has been really good against the zone so far early in the season. Well, the best quarterback against the zone, but he's ranked 29th when facing man coverage.

Denzel Ward, a guy that does a good job of creating takeaways. I think it's going to be someone that's going to be a real test for Teteroa McMillan. If he doesn't follow him, could match up with Jalen Coker at certain times. This is going to be a test to see how good these wide receivers are at creating some separation in this matchup. So that's the guy I'm probably most afraid of. I'll go Todd Munkin. I think he's a good coach. Okay. We don't have enough evidence to say that he's a good head coach. We do have enough evidence to say that he's a good offensive coordinator. And he's been around the block a bunch of different stops. He was in Tampa Bay for a little while. He was with, I think he was in Tampa Bay. Either way, I know he was in Georgia and then him in Baltimore the last few years. As much as people would get frustrated with Todd Munkin, not handing the football off to Derek Henry a whole lot, that was still an offense that was cooking. That was capitalizing on the advantages that Lamar Jackson brings to you as a quarterback. I thought he did a great job of giving you a mixed bag balanced offense.

And I do think that because you don't have nearly as much film on Deshaun in this offense with the new offensive coordinator slash turned head coach, I think now maybe he gives you something you're not ready for or not prepared for despite having what many people consider to be a bright defensive coordinator in a Jero Verro. Todd Munkin's good man. He's a good play call. I'm a little worried about him. What you got over there? Do you look up the Tampa Bay thing? Yes. He was the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach from 2016 to through 17 just their offense, a coordinator in 2018. So yeah, he's been very experienced in both the college and the problem was trying to remember the timeline between him and he changes jobs like I change underwear. Do you change underwear quite a bit? Yeah, every day. Okay, good for you, man. Just wanted to make sure that I don't wear underwear. I'm not the guy that does the one wear one one side out one day. The other side out the next day. No, no, that sounds like a Mac thing.

I'm sorry, Mac. It just sounds like a new thing. No, it's definitely true. I always get Todd Munkin and then I'm trying to I always forget the dark cutter era. And then when I was doing 730 radio, you bet me along with many other people got the first name wrong a couple of times. A very painful name if you get the first name wrong. I'll leave it at that. Let's start with the what? What's the injury you're most concerned about? Do you just want to go ahead and get through this quickly and say Devin Lloyd or is there another one you think? I see I would push back. I would say Jalen Phillips. I know he's going to play in this game. But God forbid that backflare's up on him mid game and he has to miss some important snaps. I just I don't know if I trust the other guys to be able to rush the passer as well as they need to because I mean Jalen Phillips. I know it's not the start that everybody imagine they were thinking oh six sacks in two weeks or something like that. He's got two sacks in two weeks.

So he's made an impact in both games. I granted the game against the Bears wasn't perfect, but I thought he was really good last week. That backflare's up. I'm not saying the other guys are bad. I actually thought Trevice Gibson in that first game was pretty good when he was on the field. We have like some surprising edge depth. Right. But it's still depth. It's not ideal for them to be able to get after the quarterback and I want to see them do that in this match up against the Browns. So Jalen Phillips would be my pick. I got to go status quo here. Devin Lloyd. I'm worried about the Devin Lloyd injury. He's not playing Friday and not practicing Friday. I'm worried Wednesday absences in the words of Aaron Duncan. We don't worry about Wednesday absences. We do worry about Friday absences. And I'm worried about Devin Lloyd not shooting up because of the domino effect that that has on the rest of the guys and how they need to step up. Let's get to the win. This is when blank steps up. All right. Who is the player you think of when I say this is when blank steps up a couple of injuries. It would be nice for some of the depth pieces to have maybe their best game of the season,

of their career. Who do you think of with the win question? I will say that it's a guy that we did not talk about a lot last week, but was in the game at the start. I believe started the game for them because he did because it was the first play of the game. We didn't see it. Unfortunately, a twin piece. They added on the wrong channel, but they quickly switched it. Great job by those folks over there. But we saw as a key weatly punch the ball out from Cooper Rush. Yeah, he was fantastic. He was really good in that game. I think with Nick Scott being out for this game entirely, things that key weatly is going to get a lot of run in this game. I think he's going to be a guy that is really going to make an impact in this one. Now I don't want him to have like a 12-13 tackle game because if he does, that probably means you're allowing a lot to get to the second level in the run game. But if he can bring some of what he brought last week to this Panther's defense, then I feel like he's going to be the guy that has a chance to break out because, you know,

Kara Kay, I mean, he kind of did that last week. He had a really good game last week. I think it's a key weatly not getting talked about enough, but he'll be impactful on Sunday. I thought he was phenomenal against Atlanta. We have some people writing in text messages who they think will step up in this one. Flawless says, Jalen Phillips definitely needs to step up. This is always the joke Bill Simmons rolls with when he comments on ESPN content. He needs to step up. If he doesn't step up, they won't win the championship. That's exactly what I'm doing here, asking this question. Flawless says Jalen Phillips needs to step up. It's time to make Watson's day hell. Order of blame says Jalen cocker playing actually gives him some hope that the offense will outscore the Browns offense, even if the injuries on the defense hurt us. Super Bowl Scotty. He was asking about Tyrell Dodson, the linebacker coming over from Miami, asking if he's attacking machine. He's attacking machine though, right? Yeah. Last year, 129 tackles, five sacks. That's right. Yeah, well, a guy that was out there for grabs Panther side him to the practice squad.

I know that there was some cap gymnastics that was a part of that decision to put him on the practice squad first and then upgrade him to the active roster. Well, now it's time with Devon Lloyd and Claw and Teryl is both out for this game. Now it's time for Tyrell Dodson to step up. The guy that I'll go with Derek Brown is my answer. Hey, man, go look like a freaking beast. Let's go destroy people. You have a rookie guard in Austin, Barbara, who's been playing very well for Cleveland. Throw him to the ground a couple of times and let him know what it's like to play in the NFL. That's what I want. I want him to get in the backfield and speaking of making to Sean Watson's day hell. Let's get that from big old DB. Let's have you stay in strong and have one. Let's Larry Allen this thing. Let's have one arm on one guard and let's have one arm on the other and then Stonewallum for there to be zero runway for Quinshot, Jutkins for the 13th straight game. Let's not be the team that allows Jutkins to go off. Oh, please. Let's not do that. That's a full panic if that ends up happening. Yeah, especially with how terrible their running game has been.

I've got Derek Brown as my answer for the win question. The where flounder, where on the field is Caroline is still missing something. I'll give you both offense and defense offensively. I still think we're missing a prototypical yet guy. Better that you can just throw the ball down to five yards past the line of scrimmage and he'll go ahead and pick up 15, 20 or take it to the crib. Jonathan Brooks, I thought might be that guy. Not going to be that guy at least for the next six weeks, probably even when he comes back. I think defensively a coverage safety and eraser on the back end. If Denzel Boston can sneak by Mike Jack, JC Horn. You have a bunch of aggressive safeties. The guys that like to hit you love that type of football player. I'd like more of a coverage safety that can erase big plays. I think those are still the two things that Caroline might be missing and they can still win without them. But if we're looking to upgrade other positions and skill sets, those are the things I'm looking at. Yeah, offensive line consistency, I think on the offensive side of the ball, you just want to see them come out and be a unit that you can rely on.

They did allow some pressure last week to a Falcons defensive line that we said, hey, man, beat up. Don't have their top two guys. And yet, does it area Smith and some of those guys were able to get after the quarterback? Defensively, I will still say lacking an edger usher opposite of Jalen Phillips. Does Pat Jones bring that this week? Can princely step up this week? I think those will be some interesting questions going into this game. I will say I've liked what I've seen from princely getting in the back field just but you're right. Pat Jones, can you get some consistency? Can you get some all around players? The why? Why will you remember this Browns game? Playing games against Cleveland the last few times. If you count the preseason game to start the preseason off in 2025, that was the Shadour Sanders game. The first time we saw Shadour Sanders in real NFL action, I guess, quote unquote, real, but it's the first time we saw him in a Browns uniform. You go back to 2022. That was the season opener for Carolina.

And they lost with Baker Mayfield, taken on his former team. Cleveland still ended up getting that dub 26 to 24 in 2022. And that was the Cade York game, I believe, the 60 yard game winning field goal. And the Panthers also lost to Cleveland in 2018. This was in the second half of that season when Carolina just could not get right after a six and two start. They lost to Cleveland on the road 26 to 20. So if they lose to Cleveland this weekend, Flounder, that will be the third straight loss to the Browns. Even memory, recent history, not been kind to Carolina when they take Cleveland last when they had against the Browns was all the way back in 2014 over a decade ago. Oh, wow. Bad open still feel good though. Why will you remember this game? Because this is the last time that we will see Dishon Watson as a starting quarterback in the NFL. Yeah, I guess I didn't answer it, but you did. That's a good answer. I think I think this is a game where the Panthers defense shuts them down.

I'm buying into what you saw last week. The reason why is because you look at how the pack, oh, the Packers, you look at how the Falcons played last night against the Packers. I mean, that offense looked pretty good. And I get it. Maybe Michael Pinnix is really going to be that good this year and elevate that offense. I don't really think so. I think that the way they were able to run the ball, I think Carolina did a really good job and just shutting that down a week ago. We're going to do the same thing against the team that cannot run the ball. And I'm not buying last week from Dishon Watson at some moment where he, all of a sudden, reasserts himself as one of the better quarterbacks in the league. Yeah, call me skeptical. I'll be that. I think the Panthers come out, put out a great defensive performance. I'll give you my final score pick right here. I think Panthers, the Panthers win this game 27 to three. Wow. Another three point stall wart defensive performance.

Bucket. Okay. I love it. I'll book it. I don't know if I'll actually do that and put my money where my mouth is there. But I like the answer. I'll go 27 16. Carolina ends up winning this game against the Browns. And I'll remember it because Bryce Sean continues to go off and gives us three games in a row to start the season with a, with a first time great start for Bryce. This usually starts the season pretty slow. Here's another opportunity for Bryce to go off. And I can't wait to talk about Panthers dub on Monday from 12 to 3 p.m. right here on the Western Walker show. Yes, is Angus Maximus. This partner has one turn of a pound of hot sushi cooked to honor Angus Speed. It's more fish than a quarter pounder. The corner of close. And for only 599, even regular juice can afford it. Like that guy. Give me that big open. He holds Angus Maximus. Only 599 is cold senior.
