What I was really impressed with last week with Randall is how they get landed Williams-Kallis and the you know it's a lot of misdirection. It's very creative play-com. And there he is again. Landon Williams-Kallis right side finds a little scene and there's a flag. We may have a holding short gain of two. And they may come back and be 10 yards against the Randall Lions. 6:20two years ago. Last year made it to the state finals. 131 games in a row before they finally got beat by South Oak Cliff. And as you mentioned, as you mentioned, they played in the season opener and boom. Yeah and Randall wins that one. Yeah. Big game. And it was really cool. Tons of huge crowd at Prairie View A&M. What a way to kick off this season. But Westfield beat the Heights last week with a very stingy defense. They're going to have to be really stingy tonight. We're talking about a lot of their players who are going on to play at the next level next season. That was DeAndre Hopkins on the tackle. A short gain of only a couple of yards. You know we've been talking about this Westfield defense but how good was that Randall defense last week against state number one ranked South Oak Clip. They shut them down. They were unbelievable. They got after the quarterback like nobody's business Caleb George on the defensive line along with Cameron Hippelite. You had L. J. Gonzalez bull Harris. I mean they were all over the place. It seemed like they were playing like 13 players on defense. They just South Oak Clip just could not get anything going. It was impressive. Strategic love is the quarterback for Westfield. 9:26three yards up to the 16 yard line. This is the killings heel a little bit with Westfield. They are heavy run team. They're not going to really put their quarterback in some bad downed distances where he's going to have to like throw the ball out of deep you know downed. So they'll give it to Barnes get he gets hit hard and a loss coming in first was Nino Pemso the line backer. Yeah the line heavy. I mean he really is heavy does of running the football. The offensive line. This is a great matchup of the profits of line of Westfield in the deepest of line who did a tremendous job like we said. Blassey. Outcomes Hippelite. And you know talking to Desmar Plenty Kosho's from Westfield heistley talked a lot about how they haven't been able to get on the practice field because of weather over the past couple of weeks and then the heat. So you know the histrology can be in full pads a lot in this off season. It didn't show up that much against high tower their offense was a little bit kind of unbalanced but their defenses. Third and three. Love will throw it. It's complete and good open field tackle. We'll see if he gets the first down it's pretty close. 11:39So you know the goal is to keep the ball away from landing Williams-Cowlson just runs some clock pick up from you know first down move the chains. That's Barnes again and he's brought down hard after a game of just one. Now we haven't seen their standout running back Demante Ford so not sure what's happened there but he is not in the starting lineup today. That was Ken George beat number 90 in the middle of that defensive line and he had to tremendous game last week all of those defensive lineman up front. Ford is listed as the starter for the game but not sure what may have happened but he hasn't been in the game as of yet. Second down and eight. Love will hand it off and breaking out of there is Barnes. Not a lot of room though. Good tackle after a game of just a yard. Julian Garena comes in and makes the tackle. Grin is made

12:46into a really good place over the past two. Snacks. Clayton could feel tackling by him and when you start running horizontally this defense is too fast for that. You've got to stay in your lane upfield. Third and long. Third and seven. Using plenty of clock. Zikidrick loved is the quarterback. Got three receivers left. One out to the right. And love the room. Past the 30 and first down down the sidelines and another first down for the Mustangs is a Ketrick love with the heads up play up to the 42 yard line. Great job just being aware of where the pressure is coming from. Nothing over there. Lots of room on that right side of the line.

13:51So the Mustangs using a lot of clock which they want to do obviously first down at the 43 yard line. Love hands it off right side and swarmed under for no game. But that's how it sims on the carry. Look great job just getting up. You've got to keep up on us. You can bounce everything outside going right up the middle is into the teeth of that deep fence. Yeah, you got to come up and make that catch And that costs you probably 20 yards at least and That's pretty critical the way your offense is you know, I'm really not moving the ball much So it'll be spotted at the 12 yard line. That is a Malatesta pet peeve. I know not feeling the pun and letting it just get on the ground What I see more often in on the special teams in the high school punting game is the We turn man being too far back Rarely do we see the ball put it over their head I agree and And we see a lot of that where the ball lands and they're not building the ball And so we'll see what the most things can do love will keep it and

Yeah, it was on L. J. Gonzales on the offensive line and you saw the offensive line and his helmet flies off so it makes sense So that's one of the best offensive plays that Westfield has had is a 15 yard penalty Believe that's their second first down of the game It was the handoff right side and I lost and That's JL but not who comes in and makes the tackle on barns So but not is all over the place so far in this first half under six minutes to play in the second quarter

46:26So yeah back to the Westfield schedule because They're they're in district schedule. They pretty much can they pretty much dominate and They did you know getting some good games in the first three games of the season and again They lost to Willis in the postseason last year so they've got a little get back game next week with the Willis Wow second and 12 love the pass Floats it out there and that pass is intercepted and brought down at the 40 yard line That was a lame duck pass picked off by Patrick Oliver And a random will take over great job. I've had to call over high pointing that ball He falls down and just that's one of the easier intercepts he's gonna have Kind of a punch. Let's call it short punt

Defense, defense, defense. So here we go. Second half. Something's got to get it, Todd. Can we have some scoring? But, you know, both these teams had wins last week. Randall has a huge statewide win.

1:33:36Maybe the number one team in the state. It's a little bit of a hangover, little bit, you know, kind of flying too high. And they've just looked a little flat. You'll see Muhammad. And let's see what they come up with. It's to short kick. It's taken at the 30. It'll be returned. Uh oh. And a big opening. A crossman field to the 45. 40. Down to the 28 yard line. Enzo Jones. The biggest player of the game for either team. How about that return? Great return. He breaks that first wave in a way. He goes got the kicker to beat. The kicker just gets the angle on him a little bit. And gets him out of balance. How about that Matthew O. Well downstairs go. Yes, guys. Uh just got over from the other sideline with coach Desmar Black. He was saying there's the championship pedigree opponent. We must do better. Got a fight to the end.

1:35:42We they just needed a spark. And clearly that kickoff return is a great way to start this second half. Let's see if they can turn that into some points. Get us started on the scoring department. Back up to you guys. All right. Thanks, Matt. That was a spark. Hey, Matt, looks like the linebacker. Is that Debon Smith in? You got to put him in there and look at the run up the middle and a first down. This is the best senior like they put in the linebacker Debon Smith. The University of Arizona commit at running back and he gets the big gain on his first carry. This is the best player to have on offense. Okay. Tremendous vision and he's tough to bring down. He's got a little landed Williams, Callison him. If you look at him side by side, they're about the same size. Very thick, very low to the ground. Great ability to move vertically horizontally. And look, this is this is going to be he might be playing both ways the whole time.

1:36:43If you cannot keep your helmet on during the game, you should not play. Another helmet bites the dust. But the pro is crazy. How much was seen that? It's crazy how much we've seen of that in the last two weeks. I think we've had about four or five of them in this game already. It was about a dozen last week. Second down, that time Smith was stopped for no gain. Second and ten at the 17 yard line opening drive of the game. And we have movement. That's a big penalty. It is. It is. That penalty is, I'm sorry to get angry. Pre-snap penalty, you can't have it. You cannot do that when you have your best field position of the game. You've got to get some sort of points here. Devon Smith stays in the lineup. He's also a tremendous blocker. And he really protects his quarterback in the past pro.

1:37:44Just very physical playing out. Now we'll make it second and 15 back at the 22 yard line. And they give it to Smith left side. And he is brought down right at the line of scrimmage. Fired up. It's Caleb George, who makes these mothering tackle. And it will be third and long for Westfield. Heck of a job by Caleb George. Again, we saw it all last week. This guy can move for a big man. And once he gets those bear claws on you, dude, you're done. You are done. Outcomes, Devon Smith passing down. Third and 15. This is kind of not what Westfield is set up to do. I'll tell you, you just want to get something and have a decent chance at a field goal. Because three points is a big deal in this ball game. They're down and 14 at the 22 yard line.

1:38:48So, Kedrick loved the quarterback. And we're going to have their penalty or a timeout. And with delay of game, you can't have free snap penalties with this type of off. You just can't. That's a huge penalty as it almost takes them out of field goal. All right. Well, you still have a shot at a 38 yarder? No, 44 yarder from here if they don't get any yarder. Right. And we have movement again. Three straight. I believe it's going to be on the offense. It is. The defensive lineman jump. But at the offense, I believe move first. Three straight. Five yard pass. That's ugly.

1:39:48After the nice pun return and the big run by Devon Smith, they've been going backwards. It's now third and 25 back at the 32 yard line. Not again. Are you kidding me? Matt, that is going right ugly. It's basically time for a timeout. Bring the offensive team over to the sideline. And just say, look guys, you have to focus. This is just a lack of focus. We have four consecutive free snap penalties. I don't know that I've seen that. That's pretty remarkable. And that defensive front from Randall seems to be intimidating the offensive line of Westfield.

1:40:49So now they'll try and throw it and sack back at the 41 yard line. That drive just went backwards. What a job by the Randall defense. I'm not sure what the Westfield. That was a Kyron Cooley number five among those who came in and made the tackle. So Westfield after the big punt return goes the other way back to the 42 yard line. Fourth and 35. Gosh. Omar and Mosquita back into pun. He's done a lot of this so far in the game. And it's a good snap. Wobbly end over end kick. And it bounces into the end zone.

1:41:50And so now comes Randall. And Westfield blows a big opportunity. Big because you just have no sense they can move the ball at all. And that punt return was so huge and then four straight procedure penalties. And it's tomorrow as you for the defense because the defense is holding up there into the bargain by a long shot. But the Bradshaw will give it to Williams-Calis. He busts out of there for a four yard gain up to the 24 yard line. So as we've talked about landing Williams-Calis needs two touchdowns to break his cousin to quiz his Rogers record for most touchdowns in the football career. Russian touchdowns for a greater Houston running back.

1:42:52He's got 135 first career. We came in here assuming that was going to happen. And right now it's looking very kind of iffy. Still 720 to go into third quarter. That was a first down by Williams-Calis to the 30 yard line. His Bradshaw rolling lap. That's a dangerous pass. It's caught. And a short gain to the 32 yard line. That is a dangerous pass. Judah and a Moby makes the catch. Bradshaw rolling lap. Player is down and that might be a Moby and that might be a cramp. It looked like kind of a high ankle but good block by landed. But look, the only thing you don't want to do if you're Randall is throw a pick six. That gives Westfield some life. The defense for Westfield has been amazing. They can't be on the field the entire game time.

1:43:53Well, they may have to be the way this one's going. So he's up. Doesn't look too serious at all. Walking off pretty nicely. That's good to see. Judah and a Moby. Okay. Second down and eight now from the 32 yard line. Make it the 33. So second down is seven for the Lions. No score. Seven minutes. Matt, I don't know if we've gone this long in a ballgame since we've been doing this the last 15 years. I've been here. Still scoreless. I mean, it could be wrong. I just don't remember it. Right up the middle. It's Williams-Calis. And he powers his way for a nice game to the 39 yard line. Game of six. That's a third and one. They'll will line up quickly. They'll change the pace.

There's Simon. There he goes. Looks like another cramp, Matt. It is humid out there. It is humid. But it just slows. If you're the offense, you don't want to be stopping play all the time. Because you want to get in a rhythm and get the defense off balance and be able to slow the game up, speed it up, back and forth. But when you have these every play, somebody's cramping, it slows it down. Does this slow it down? Is it me? No, it slows it down. I notice to myself. All right, first down from the 45 yard line. Handoff Williams-Callister.

1:47:55Brexit body has a lot of room. 35, 30. Landon Williams-Callister. Brexit across the middle. He's chipped up down at the 9 yard line. Biggest run of the game. Well, we suspected this could happen. You keep giving them the ball. There's only so much the defense can do. And they quickly snap it. Williams-Callister again. And he gets three yards to the 6. So they're not giving that Westfield defense a break. No, that's not saying. Keep it going. Stay up on your feet. Second down in goal. Lines threatening to get the first score of the game. And every yard on this, on this drive has been courtesy of Landon Williams-Callister. He's in the backfield again.

1:48:55He'll take the handoff. And he is tackled for a loss back at the 10 yard line. Great job by Nassir Gibson. And also Caleb Bailey in on the tackle. We'll see which one comes in first. And we saw the Randall defensive line kind of moving and shifting and Westfield line and just kept moving. So let's see if they got it together now. Go snap it up the middle and only a gain of a yard. That was Michael Barnes. Okay, so we have been wondering all game where Demonte Ford is, right? Right. Demonte Ford's Jersey rip. He is number four. Okay. Michael Barnes. Well, that explains everything. He's wearing number four.

1:54:10So we got a good clarification from Vikes Jackson Deepasqually on the sideline. Well, we assigned him to go find out what he did. Well done. All right. Well, that explains that I was wondering what the heck happened. And you know, you don't want to have something bad happened. You didn't want to speculate. How about that hit right there? Oh, my. Some summer Creek. Which point beat Dickinson in a thriller last week? Second down and six now. Handoff, no, it's a fake keeping it and a first down up to the 37 yard line.

1:59:28How about that? And that was Jamar Young. Jamir Young out of the wildcat, Matt. He fakes it to Williams-Callis and gets the first down up to the 36 yard line for the Lions. Now it's Williams-Callis dancing around and we'll give him a yard because we're very generous here in the booth. 37 yard line, second down and nine. Well, they did a lot of that last week. They did a lot of misdirection, faking it to... They still have Jamir Young in a quarterback in for Batcher. It changed it up a little bit. And Young fakes it to Williams-Callis. Tries to get around the right side and he does. Jamir Young with a nifty run showing some nice athleticism. In fact, on the roster, Matt, he's listed as an athlete. Well, that was athletic right there.

2:00:29Great job. So he's giving them a spark from the quarterback position. And that's third and two now. Maybe three from the 43 yard line. They'll give it to Williams-Callis up the middle. And it looks like he does have a first down. And we have another player down on the ground for Westfield. And we'll see if it's yet another cramp. So we've had a lot of players go down throughout the game. Nothing that seems to have been serious so far. But we're not sure about this injury right here. It'll be a first down for Randall at the 46 yard line of the Lions. Well, you could just feel the momentum that Randall is building.

2:01:34They're keeping the ball away from the Westfield offense with ball control. And they don't have to win like a hundred or you know, they don't got to put up 30 points. They don't put up 50 points. Just get and just this is a physical game today against Westfield. Get by today and move on to tomorrow with the win. Because this is a physical game against Westfield. They're going to feel it and I'm not sure and I think we'll see who they play next week. But sometimes these games take a little bit to shake off. Randall back on offense first down at the 46 yard line. Jameer Young has come in for this third quarter possession and done a good job.

2:02:38The clock starts again. So it's going to run down and this is going to be the end of the quarter, Matt. It is the end of the third quarter. And just like that, we played three quarters here at Trailer Stadium. And after three, it's three to nothing. Randall, over Westfield, will be back for the final quarter right after this. This is for the driven. For those ready to do the thing. The game is going to be a little bit more difficult to do. But I think we're going to have to do it again. 2:04:39And the Mustangs catch a must-needed break. Jordan Jones recovers for Westfield. I mean how big is that, Todd? Because it just felt like Randall had this game in the balance. Right? And then that's a tough, tough turnover. And it gives Westfield some life. Put Devon Smith as the wild must-day. It just do exactly what Randall has been doing to them. Just run it, run it, run it with your best player. All right, so they bring in Demonte Ford at running back. Again, his jersey in this game is number four previously, it's typically number 23. And Jadera's Amos is back in the ball game. And it just simplifies the offense. You're not going to get all these pre-snap penalties.

2:05:43Amos to throw. Now he's going to get hit hard for a loss back at the 39-yard line. What a shot by Julian Derenna, who's having a big game. I mean, what a shot. You can feel that up here. Boom! So every time Westfield had a sport, they had the big punt return. And they went the wrong way. And here they get the turnover and start off with a six-yard loss. You know what our football previews set on the cover. It says run that darn ball. Okay, they're going to... Four receivers ain't going to do it. Amos is going to try to throw. And Jadera's it. Receiver falls down. And it looks like he... Now they call it incomplete. Continent for Demaris Richardson. Tried to make the catch while he was already on the ground, but couldn't come up with it. And just like that, it's 3rd and 15.

2:06:43Here's the pass. And there it is on the ground. So good call by the official. They need to get down to the 25 yard line. Tried to get something and maybe have a fuel goal attempt. If you can get eight or nine yards, Amos to throw. Has a man open. It's underthrowed and it's knocked away. Oh boy. Making the defensive play was cam way. But he had the man open and it was underthrowed. It was and he had a step. And just a little short. Demaris Richardson was there. Now we have all sorts of extracurricular activity out there and flags are flying. Demaris Richardson. Here we go. Westfield.

2:07:47It's either going to be in sportsman like on him. Or it's going to be on both. But it looks like it's going to be on Westfield. Officials with a long discussion back at the 20 yard line. On the incompletion afterwards. But a pushing and shoving flags fly. What is the discussion? I don't know why it takes so long. Still talking about it. Both penalties.

2:08:53Is that 30 yard penalty? Both penalties. He pointed to Westfield both ways. Now it's changing. No, nice pointing. So they called on sportsman like on two players on each team. I believe that's what the call was. So penalties all the gate each other is fourth down. You're at the 39 yard line but you're going to have to punt the ball because you can't move it offensively. And hope to force another three and out or turn over or what have you. So Omar Amesquita has been the busiest man in football tonight with yet another punt. And to the corner, Farah Katch made at the eight yard line by Kamar Chavez Brown.

2:09:5510-56 remaining in the ball game. That could have been a situation where you knew where your feet were. And that could have been in the end zone. But great catch by Brown. Now here comes Randall. Randall with 11 minutes to go. Can they play a keep away long enough of three to nothing on Westfield? Well, we know it's going to be a lot of land in Williams-Calis. Potentially every play of this drive. And he takes it right side, a little bit of room, and a nice game. All the way up to the 17 yard line. That's a gain of eight.

2:10:55Quietly over the 100 yard mark. Yes. Second and two from the 17 yard line. And this time, Williams-Calis hit hard. He wants a face mask. They don't call it. And he's dropped for a five yard loss. And they'll bring it back to the 15 yard line. What a play by T'leab Foster. He got his pulled down by his jersey. So now it's third and sixth. Pass. It's Bradshaw. He's sacked down at the three yard line. Jordan Jones brings down Brady Bratcher.

2:11:56And Randall will have to putt from deep in its own himself. This defense is insane. The defense is insane. And it's because the Randall offense is better than the Westfield offense. By a long stretch. Okay. Now, if again, your Westfield. And you're a short punt. You got to feel that they do this time. Upfield. Upfield. Upfield. On the corner all the way down to the 24 yard line is Demaris Richardson. So Westfield in great position again. We've seen this a couple of times. But they have not been able to take advantage of it. Can they do it this time? 9-23 remaining in the ballgame. First in ten. What do you think, man? I don't think they have, you know, they don't have enough offense. They're going to have to get creative.

2:12:56They have to get creative. And if that takes just running Devon Smith, their best player on the field, why wouldn't you do that? Well, he's not on the field. I know. So again, the backup quarterback, Gigerius Amos is in. After love went out with an injury in the third quarter. Now he'll go back to throw and he has brought down for a loss of a yard at the 26 yard line. And they have three receivers in the Inzo. This guy can't throw the ball to the Inzo. Like, what do we... And just put that heavy package and let your defense win playing offense. Second. Second down and eleven.

2:14:02Now look, looking what they're doing. They have their two gigantic defensive tackles in the ballgame. And we have a whistle. Are we going to have another procedure? They're going to have a timeout. Well, they're going to have a procedure. Timeout. And any timeout when the guy over there across fields walking backwards. It's not a timeout. They also call the timeout. No, it's not a timeout. We'll keep it right here. We'll keep it right here. Yep, the clock runs. The clock runs. So they tried to get a timeout in. Westfield with two timeouts remaining. Clock ticking with eight. 15 to go. Second down and 16. And if our camera guys can get... Look at the size of the offensive front. That's what they should be doing. And handoff is up the middle.

2:15:03And nothing... Don't get away from it. Don't get away from it. And that time we did see Devon Smith in the ballgame. And they had the two big defense attack goals in the backfield with him. See big number nine. Big 16 in there. Great tackle by Jamari Levi, who came in and brought him for a loss. And once again the Westfield offense going backwards. It's third and 16. Now out of field goal range. Going with the heavy package again. Jeterias Amos takes the snap and he's going to throw. Floats it out there and that doesn't have a chance. That goes out of bounds. And tenon for Daenerys Richardson. And now Matt, you're at the 31-yard line.

2:16:06Fourth and 16. The odds of you getting that are about zero. Zero. But if you punt... ...pun it inside the ten. Little pooch kick and that's what they're going to do. Because you're not going to get that fourth and 16. No. You're not even going to get a fourth and six at this point. So... After the... They took over at the 27-yard line. Oh, here comes goal. 48-yard field goal. For the tie. Omar Amesquita. It's blocked. And they might be a return here. Running around the left side and tackled. Well, it was like a punt. Just the way they planned it, Matt. How about that? Yeah. It didn't turn out so bad considering it was blocked for Westfield. You see the block? And it looked like he might have a chance for a good return.

2:17:07I mean, he can't... He can't untow about that. That was Patrick Oliver who dives and blocks the bugle, and it comes in untouched. No big harm done for Westfield because... ...Randell takes over at its own 18-yard line. Only seven minutes to play. Here's Williams-Calis. Twist and turns. Look at him battle. Still going right at the first down marker. Gain of 10. They'll spot it one-yard shy of the first. Gain of nine, second down, and one. And this time, handoff Jones. Oh, he's hit hard. The line is scrimmaged. That's the first down. Jamarian Jones, but it looks like it's just enough for a first down for the Lions with 630 remaining in the ballgame. So who could be our player of the game?

2:18:08Well, it's got to be a defensive player. Honestly. And right now you've got to give it to a defensive player on... Randall. Randall. And we've seen... Pick somebody. Well, Chulen Gerrena has had a big game. Patrick Oliver has had a big game. You know what man of doing is just give it to the full defense. I think whoever wins this game, I'm going out of the limb right now, Matt. We're just going to give it to the defense of the winner of this game. Is that allowed? Yes. Okay. All right. Unless landing, Williams-Calis goes off on a 74-yard touchdown run. We reserve the right to change our mind. We do. Okay. Landon Williams-Calis has 27 carries for 116 yards. The Westfield defense has just been outstanding. Landon did have one big run.

2:19:09He almost popped it for a touchdown. And then the Westfield defense able to hold him for a field goal. Here he is again right side and gains four yards to the 33 yard line. The Westfield guard line clock continues to tick. 6-10 remaining here at trailer stadium. And look, you're up three nothing. You could milk the clock all the way down. Now, Westfield has two timeouts remaining. But they almost need a turnover to have a chance. Here's Williams-Calis left side. He gets around the end. And there he goes across the 40 and he goes out of bounds. And a first down for Westfield. Gain of eight yards for Landon Williams-Calis. And there he goes. And there he goes. And there he goes. And there he goes.

2:20:11And there he goes. Just if. Calis in motion. And they hand off left side and we have a flag come down. And there he goes. And there he goes. And there he goes. And they're holding. And they're holding. They're very in Jones on the handoff. Black thrown right in the middle line. And most of the time that's going to be holding penalty. Oh personal foul face mask against Randall. They'll play that down again. But it's going to be first down in 25. Just one of the offensive lineman must have grabbed the face mask.

2:21:11We lost on monitor here. First down from the 25 yard line. And they'll hand it off up the middle. And again of three to the 28. And we have another player down. No, yeah. Believe we have another cramp. To Westfield defender. They'll attend to him. And they'll be holding it. It looks like it's Logan Draper. And hopefully it's just a cramp. We've seen several of those throughout a very hot and steamy evening here. At trailer stadium Rosenberg 501 remaining in the game. Second down and 23 for Randall Westfield with two timeouts.

2:22:14And then the ball game. So Draper is up. Here's Westfield schedule. The rest of the way they defeated heights last week. They have a tough game against a tremendous Willis team next week. And then we'll open up district play against the eyes and our eagles. Paralyzed by spring, limits Davis, allding, Dijkane and her. Second down and 23. Bratcher to throw. Throw it deep and it is incomplete. Well we have a flag. No flag. There's some contact. This job on defense. Right there. Deandra Yancy on defense for Westfield.

2:23:18So here we go. Third down and 23 for the Lions. 4-45 remaining. That's your will throw. It's caught and hit hard and brought down for a loss. What a shot by Jalen Jones and Randall will have to putt. These Jones brothers can get after it. They're super athletic, long, great on the edge. Ooh. What a tackle right there. That's textbook. And do not let this ball hit the ground. Westfield needs a big play on the special teams. That one will hit the ground but no fault of the defender. Now he has to let it go and look at it roll all the way to the 30 yard line. He's too far back. We've been saying that all game. That ball's not getting punted over your head. No.

2:24:19And if it does, it does. But that's just killer. That's a killer because that's a long way for them to go when you're having trouble even getting a first down. So 415 remaining and two time outs. This might be the last chance for Westfield. It is definitely the last chance. Definitely the last chance. It is definitely the last chance. Barring a three and out in completions. Tough spot for Westfield. DeGerius Amos will hand it off and oh hit hard and no gain. Chalice Sims on the carry and you had a trio of Randall lines come in and make the tackle. And now we're under four minutes to play. How about that big hit right there?

2:25:19Oh my. They're getting after it. That looked like it was a Mari Bull Harris number nine. Yeah, the goal. I mean, he is. He's had a big hit. I mean, you really can't pick one because I mean, they're all playing amazing as a unit. And we notice this out the South O'Cliff. This defense is for real. Amos in trouble. And he gets sacked back at the 22 yard line. He's not even looking downfield to throw it. That was jail Bernard and Eltrich Gonzalez making the tackle. Third and 20. 21. Third and 22. Three minutes to go. I guess you just heave it out there and hope somebody can make a make a play.

2:26:24Amos to pass. He will fire and the receiver slipped down, but he was well covered anyway intended for Demaris Richardson and Westfield will punt the ball with 245 remaining. I mean, you don't only have an option. You're going, why do you go? Why don't you go for it? I think you have a better chance hoping for a special teams play or a defensive play. Yep. And we have some whistles as a player kind of limps off. Omar. Amos Kita. Are we in the double-digit punch, Matt? We could be and remember he had a punt sail over his head and they had a lucky timeout called. Yeah. And if you're Randall, you don't even feel that unless you're just sure there's nobody around you. And they won't feel that a short punt still bounces.

So Matt last week, Randall played number one ranked South Oak Cliff. They won that game. Then they play Six A Westfield. Got a good chance of winning right now. But 147 to go. Anything can happen. And by East and Dallas, South Houston, Iowa, calling it Pasadena. Freeman, I tell you what. No.

2:31:37It doesn't get. They have a good chance of winning the game. Thank you. Iowa, calling it a little struggle last week. They look to be a bit down. Here's Williams-Callis. Can you get the first down? And he does. And that'll pretty much seal the deal. Seven yards to the 41 yard line. Clock will continue ticking. Westfield is out of timeouts. And maybe they have one more timeout. Okay, the scoreboard had shown they had none left. Well, that doesn't really matter. It's first down. And now they have no timeouts remaining. We thought they had taken their last one. It was showing that two left over those last two plays. But they had all three.

2:32:37And so you still don't even have to get a first down at your Randall. All right, so we are playing the games coming up. Not at this moment. I'm anticipating. I have a feeling it might be. Okay. And let's just say it's not going to be an offensive play. I've never seen no offense. Other than that, it was about a 35 yard run by Williams-Callis. And they'll hand it to him left side. They'll cut it back, stays and bounds. Game of two, second down, and eight. All right, so there's 35 seconds left on the play clock. And 120 on the game clock. And then it's about 50 seconds run the play. And that should end it. Going a timeout, a weird timeout or a turnover.

2:33:40I believe one more play will end this game. Second down, eight. Only 55 seconds. And four seconds on the game clock. Two, one. They snapped the ball. And it looks like they're going to have to run one more play. There's one second difference, man. Okay. So Coach Randall not happy about that. But there's 29 seconds. There's one second more on the right. Here comes the clock. Now both teams are walking off.

2:34:40Is that the game or are they going to have to run one more play? Nope, they're calling it. They're lining up. And that's the game. That's it. Would you believe, three nothing to final, your water burger player, the game is the block field goal tied. Try that would have tied the game. This game was a whole defense. And that is your water burger player, the game. Matt, that was really this is this might be the lowest scoring game we've had in our 15 years. It is. I think it is. Okay. And that last count, I've got Land of Williams, Calisthene 32 carries 138 yards. Wow. That went, I mean, give it to that Westfield defense. They were on the field all game, all game. And they were relentless. And they still only held them to a field goal.

2:35:47And our player, the game, we thought we were going to give it to the Randall defense, but the truck is giving it to Landon Williams, Calis. Because he had all the offense in the game. He did. Yeah, 130 something yards rushing, but that was almost the entire offense of this ballgame. Yeah, 32 for 138 yards. All right. No touchdowns. So he remains two away from the breaking his cousin's record of the quiz Rogers for most career touchdowns. Well, there's no celebration going on. These teams are exhausted. I mean, it is so steamy out here. It was hard hitting defensive battle. And no reason for any team to hang their heads. This is Westfield couldn't get any offense going. None. And their defense was marvelous. Randall defense was just as good. And they had just enough offense to win the ballgame. All right. So next week will be in Pridgen Stadium for Rich Point at Bridglin.
