That's P-R-E-N-U-V-O.com. Back on afternoon, drive Nick Wilson, Jonathan Peterlin. Live from David Buster's here in West Lake, a big shout out to Al Bundy, who joined us out here. Not Ed O'Neil, who is from Youngstown. But a man asking whether or not any Browns will score. I think it's just four specific touchdowns in a game. The Al Bundy. Yeah, the Al Bundy. And I'm going to say, the offense might have a game where they scored four touchdowns. I would be surprised if it comes from one player though. I wasn't for the leading receiver last year for the Browns. That's not right. Touchdowns, how you hear that? It might be a tough guy. That was last year. That might be a tough guy. Yeah, this is this year, JP. And my eight-win Browns, not going to be... Not me putting that one out there. Okay, good. I also like that there are people on the station saying they're not sure where you or I stand. When it comes to wins and losses. When I've been pretty apparent on what my take on this is.
It's a pretty confusing thing. This stems from the text turned around the world even a couple months ago and trying to clarify. After a week and a half of them just making up numbers for us. Yeah. You see, I mean, you can make up win totals for anyone if you want and then get confused as to why the win totals are off from what you think they said any time. Yeah, I mean, it's... I mean, it's... I mean, it's... I can get how you wouldn't understand that I've been team seven now eight wins because I've only been talking about it for three months. I'm pretty sure. And I've disguised it by talking about it probably once an hour for about the last three or four months. Yeah. And the... I mean, it just did something a little silly. That's fine. I'm hiding it in broad daylight. That's what I'm doing. That's what's that's confusing. Well, I... Darrell was even confused by you. Remember, Darrell thought you had a ten win season at one point. Yeah, Darrell is flip-flopping on my win totals. I don't even know how the hell that's possible. Well, with Darrell anything is possible. That's right. We love Darrell. Impossible is nothing. Oh, wait till he gets here. Is he going to be dressed up? Why would he dress up? Well, you know, he dresses up when he does the commissioner thing. That doesn't mean he carries over to every event. It should. It's the all time... It's a fantasy anniversary. What's he got a commission tonight?
Whatever the hell he wants. I don't think he's there. Life is made up. He's an adult. You can just... If you just say something with enough authority, you'll go ahead and get away with it. If we're talking about all-time, funniest fan moments for myself, when Darrell was commissioner and then in the photo... I wasn't even there. I was in Florida, but I'm looking on the internet. And Darrell's the commissioner. He takes a group photo with everybody. And there's one guy that's using his nice suit jacket as a coaster for his Bud Light. And I laugh all the time thinking about that. And Darrell's so oblivious of the whole entire thing. And this guy's just got his Bud Light. Just planted on there as if it's a coaster. I absolutely love it. Usually anything where Darrell is oblivious, I find very funny. But we got quick hits coming up in about 20 minutes. Again, stop on by and see us like our guy Al Bundy has. And we got the round table coming up later. All five hours of this show. However, I said this. I thought about this at the end of yesterday's show. But we didn't really have time or a place for it. Because I was thinking about just the disastrous implications of the Kweil Leonard trade.
And really, the only thing that's changed in the Clippers, sorry, Clippers NBA, Kweil Leonard, saga, is that the Clippers are letting everyone know how just gold aren't furious they are. And they actually use the word witch hunt in one of the messaging that they sent out there. Well, yeah, what else you're going to call it? That's true. That's true. The truth. Which I think does we get thrown around nearly enough. I feel like it needs to have a comeback. I think it's had a comeback the last decade or so. I'd honestly like to put away. I don't know what a way of somebody calling it a witch hunt. I'd rather not. I'd rather not. You give me one other example. I think we could veer into some real territory that I don't care to go for. I think in the first world, I feel like calling something of witch hunt's really funny. Do I just go, yeah, that's fair because it sports at the end of the day. Yeah. But it got me thinking about the long lasting impact of the Kweil trade and how people have already said, listen, it wasn't a reviled trade in the first place, right? I already looked at that and went, you traded for him to win you championships. Like he did that one season in Toronto, you made, I think, one Western conference finals trip.
And you got like one or two series wins, five 87 regular season basketball. And now you're going to be in tatters for the next potentially decade. Yeah. It's funny. I've heard a lot of people talk about the comps on this. Like Danny Parkins earlier today was like, Babe Ruth, Herschel Walker, Dishon Watson, Kweiliner, that's your list. Like all time bad trades and how they're all grouped together in some sort of way. Now this one's interesting because Kweil, even though Kweil himself wasn't the, he was the reason why the trade happened. It was the Paul George trade that accompanies the five first rounders and SGA attached to it all. So he kind of gets lumped together because that was a, that's a causal part of this. The Clippers at least did make it to a Western conference finals that Kweiliner didn't play in. At least, they at least got something out of this in some respect. Is it what they wanted anticipated when you have Kweil and Paul George? Probably not, but that's at least better than what the Browns got. All right. So I think the point about the Paul George trade being lumped in with this is perfect. I also say though, the Dishon Watson trade should get tied in with a mild scare trade because if the Dishon trade doesn't go boom, boom.
Miles doesn't get traded out of cleave. Yeah. I give you're winning super balls and going deep into the postseason. Miles is here and he's a forever Brown. So there are, there's, yes, there's some fall back and fall out from that for sure. So the reason why I sent out earlier today is I just sent out this Twitter poll is like I want to see where people are with it about 700 votes in right now, which trade destroyed their new organization more Dishon wants into the Browns or Kweiliner to the Clippers and and I. It's actually a lot closer than I thought. It still looks lopsided because it's about 62 and a half percent for the Dishon trade to 37 and a half percent for the Kweil trade. But remember, I don't think the Clippers have yet to feel the full wrath of the ramifications of this trade that contract and the Paul George trade. So. Your line just went down production stopped a supervisor wants answers and someone's digging through a binder for the maintenance history.
Every one of those minutes costs money and most of the time that breakdown could have been prevented. We're saying this after they've had the only success you're going to have out of this. Yeah, they're going to suck for the next half decade. And so they'll have 10 years of bad. The problem at least in what I'm having in this discussion is that NBA and NFL is just different with NBA.
The only NBA teams just go through 10 years of absolute nothingness. I would kill for in 10 years to make one Western conference finals appearance like that. Just how many times have we seen basketball team like the bulls for instance just go through 20 years of nothing like it happens a lot. We're in the NFL like five years in the NFL. There's some teams like the Browns. They're like the vocal point that you shoot you shoot to to be like that. That yet happens you can stay bad. But the NFL is not designed to stay bad that long. Fair. I guess my thing is I don't think there's a clippers fan on the planet that would go back in a DeLorean and not stop that deal from happening. I think you said the same thing with the Browns though. Oh no 100 percent but I think my point is like I don't think 587 winning percentage and one Western conference finals appearance. But we're talking worst of all time though. Oh no no by the way I do think so in the qualifiers of all this like you're going to every every person we bring up and every trade we bring up is going to go back in the DeLorean. They're all going to say no thank you. But I think with the with the Browns we're at the end of this.
It doesn't feel like that because to Sean starting week one. But we got like a 92.3 percent chance that we are that this is it and that to Sean will be gone at the end of the season. And then we can just move on and as much as it sucked. Hey there is sunshine in the 2027 draft class with the clippers. We don't know the full ramifications yet. So if this is a kai reurving type trade where to get off Baron Davis's contract they took on Mo Williams and gave the calves. What ended up being the number one pick in the draft. If you end up having a scenario where the clippers would have been the one or two pick or been in the cat bird seat for that. I think that's where all of a sudden this trade all of a sudden the quad trade really does become truly one of the top three worst trades of all time. Today I think it's hyperbole. I think I think you're early if you're saying the kai trade is on the level with the Dishon trade. I think about two to three years from now I think it's going to age really poor. I don't even think you're early. I think the predominating thought is that it's up there with Dishon in one of the worst of all time.
It's up there with Babe Ruth. It's up there with her show Walker. It's up there with like the all time. But I think it's going to be worse. I think it's up there with the top three trades and sports. I mean it might it might that's I guess the conversation it might end up taking the cake. It might end up being a numero uno which I'm sure I'm sure Andrew Barry and company would enjoy if somebody took the mantle right now. It feels like Dishon is leading that with a bullet. I'll be honest with you. I didn't show you. I'll take the second worst trade in sports history with a Dishon trade at this point. Right. I will. I'm so sick of having to think of it as the worst trade in sports and it doesn't really feel like there's a true second place behind it. Like I don't like the hersial Walker trade. We're so far removed from that trade. It just it just feels incomparable because it's a different era and the NFL was a different sport should not happen. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What was the other one? The Babe Ruth one. That's a hundred years. Yeah. But yeah, that was really I wouldn't do that one. Yeah. I'll just say I want people to know. So we were Nick Wilson would not make the Babe Ruth trade. We just start two thousands on. Is that what we need to do here? Just say two thousands on. Yes.
Because it was Dishon Watson with a bullet before this coi thing took place. Yeah. And so I don't know if that's supposed to make Brown's fans feel better. But at least now we have some skin in the game where maybe we just won't wear the scarlet letterer of this. No, the worst part about this is that yes, the coi trade ends up with all of these different ramifications. But it was salary cap circumvention. Why the Brown's trade will always end up being worse in my opinion is that these are active willing participants as adults that tried to make decisions and football moves to better their team and failed and failed in such a magnificently awful way for Brown's fans. But there's no like good out and come down and hammer the Browns any sort of extra way attached to this. I guess the Browns hammered themselves. Yeah. Like in that that's what that's what we'll always push this over me for and debating this first coi is that like yeah. The Clippers got their their hand stuck in the cookie jar there caught in the cookie jar like that's that was them trying to cheat actively trying to cheat. It's to flight gate essentially it's I'm trying to cheat and they got caught and they're paying the ramifications for it.
All right, sucks to suck. But like the Browns were trying. Browns are trying to win and doing it by the book and still failed in a way that no other team in recent history. I do see a through line between the two moves, which was shortcuts. The Browns thought they could buy their way to the front of the line with the Dishon trade and I have no problem with someone looking at this and going what's happened since his karma. You had something you just need to be patient and give it a chance because this organization had only really come together in the the two previous seasons. I feel the same way about it like it is cheating that the what the Clippers did is cheating and that should be looked at as in a different light. But it's still trying to to create an edge for yourself and then you fell down on the floor because your hands slipped off the edge. I get it. I just for it's almost night and day for me in the comps in the straight up comps of the two the end result is very, very similar obviously and that's what we're debating. But how we got there. I feel like it's two different road maps. Two on six four seven four 0092 at Nick Wilson says at J Peterlyn on social media. I definitely think that this is early. I still think it's to Sean Watson and I don't think it's close today.
I think what's going to be really interesting is in the next five years. How much ground the coi Clippers trade actually does gain on the Dishon trade and whether it can overtake the Dishon trade for the worst trade in sports history. But which trade destroyed their new franchise more Dishon watching in the Browns are quite Leonard and the Clippers when we come back. You'll want to hear if this prominent NFL GM keeps it real or keeps it real fake. What it's called a tease. Come on. I say Nick Wilson's a tease. 15 years. I waited for that. I got the pay off today. It's a successful tease in five minutes or 92 to be the fan. When equipment breaks down and operations come to a halt every single second counts.
