About this episode

The Brewers are cruising toward another division title, leading the NL Central by eight games after a gritty 4-3 win over the Cubs. With playoff vibes already in the air, the team gets a potential boost as veteran pitcher Brandon Woodruff — sidelined since July — could return this season. Currently in his third week of a five-week throwing program, Woodruff, a two-time All-Star and key piece since being drafted in 2014, might come back as a reliever. Before his injury, he was dominant with a 2.98 ERA. This move could solidify their bullpen as they push for postseason glory.
