About Amb.
Chas W. Freeman Jr. is a former US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and South Korea. He served as the US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia from 2005 to 2006 and to South Korea from 2004 to 2008. Freeman has a long career in foreign service, having served in various roles in the US Department of State. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and has written several books on international relations and foreign policy. Freeman is also a professor at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service.
