Asmeret Asefaw Berhe

Soil scientist and professor

Asmeret Asefaw Berhe is a soil scientist and professor at the University of California, Berkeley. She is an expert in soil science and has published numerous papers on soil formation, soil degradation, and soil conservation. Berhe has received several awards for her work, including the National Science Foundation's CAREER Award. She is also a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
