Chris Marker

Chris Marker was a French filmmaker, artist, and writer. He is best known for his experimental films and his work in the French New Wave movement. Marker was born in 1930 in Paris, France, and died in 2012. He was a prolific artist, creating over 100 films, as well as numerous writings and artworks. His work often explored the intersection of film, art, and politics.
