Francis Beaumont

Francis Beaumont was an English playwright and poet who was active in the early 17th century. He is best known for his collaborations with John Fletcher, with whom he wrote several plays, including 'The Knight of the Burning Pestle' and 'A King and No King'. Beaumont was a prominent figure in the English theatre scene during his lifetime and is still studied and performed today.
