Ismā`īl ibn Isḥāq al-Ḥalīlī

Ismā`īl ibn Isḥāq al-Ḥalīlī was a prominent Islamic scholar and theologian who lived in the 10th century. He was a key figure in the development of Islamic theology and was known for his expertise in tafsir and hadith. Al-Ḥalīlī was also a prolific writer and wrote several books on Islamic theology and history. He is considered one of the most important scholars of his time and his works continue to be studied by scholars today. Al-Ḥalīlī was born in 860 in Baghdad, Iraq and died in 941 in Baghdad, Iraq.
