Nikolai II

Nikolai II was the last Emperor of Russia, ruling from 1894 until his abdication in 1917. He was the son of Alexander III and ascended to the throne at the age of 26. Nikolai II was known for his conservative and reactionary policies, which contributed to the growing unrest in Russia during the early 20th century. He was also known for his personal life, including his marriage to Alexandra Feodorovna and their four daughters. Nikolai II was executed by the Bolsheviks in 1918.
