Rick Rypien
Former NHL player and mental health advocate
Rick Rypien was a former NHL player who played for the Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames. He is also a mental health advocate and has spoken publicly about his struggles with depression and anxiety. Rypien passed away in 2005 at the age of 34. He is remembered for his charitable work and his efforts to raise awareness about mental health issues.
