Sir Harold Kroto

Sir Harold Kroto is a British chemist and Nobel laureate who was born in 1939. He studied chemistry at the University of London and later earned his PhD from the University of Sussex. Kroto is best known for his work on fullerene molecules and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1996. He has written several books on science and has been a prominent figure in the scientific community. Kroto is currently based in the UK.
