Susan Grunewald

Susan Grunewald is a historian and digital humanities specialist. She is a Digital History Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh World History Center. Her research focuses on the history of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. Grunewald has a Ph.D. in History from the University of Pittsburgh. She is an expert on the history of the Soviet Union and has published several articles on the topic. Grunewald is also a skilled cartographer and has created maps of historical sites. She is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
