Sylvia Garcia

Sylvia Garcia is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 29th congressional district. She is a member of the Democratic Party and has been serving in Congress since 2019. Garcia is the first Latina to represent Texas in Congress and has been a strong advocate for issues affecting the Latino community. She has also been a vocal critic of the Trump administration's policies and has worked to promote healthcare and education reform. Garcia is based in Houston, Texas.
