Yossi Harari

Yossi Harari is an Israeli historian and professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is known for his work on the history of the Middle East and the rise of Western civilization. Harari has written several bestselling books, including "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind" and "21 Lessons for the 21st Century." He has also been a frequent commentator on Israeli politics and society. Born in 1964 in Jerusalem, Israel, Harari has a degree in history from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has taught at several universities and has been a visiting scholar at institutions such as Harvard University and the University of California, Berkeley.
