About this episode
PUBLIC VERSION. Filmmaking duo Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote (HYPNOTIC, THE OPEN HOUSE) join Adam, Joe, and Arwen to discuss their career journeys together and the making of their latest film THE WRATH OF BECKY (now in theaters and available digitally)! In this terrific conversation Matt and Suzanne discuss the serendipitous way they met and began working together… the challenges of making a film that addresses our extremely divisive times while keeping the fun and violent mayhem accessible to as broad of an audience as possible… casting the spectacular Seann William Scott (GOON, AMERICAN PIE) as the film's villain… the misconceptions about sequels and their budgets… and in the incredible second hour things get brutally honest as the conversation turns to finding good producers, the duos real reaction to the amazing news that their film had been accepted into the prestigious SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST film festival, the importance of having impeccable communication, and how they recovered from their first film's disappointing reception and rose from the ashes stronger and more in love with their craft than before!
The second hour of this one is AMAZING, Patrons! Aspiring filmmakers- pay close attention!
