Plan B made over-the-counter emergency contraception legal more than 20 years ago. It's a safe, effective backup birth control option that helps prevent pregnancy before it starts by temporarily delaying ovulation. Plan B is the number one OBGYN recommended brand, and the only one you can find at all major retailers in all 50 US states. There's no minimum age requirement, and you don't need an ID to buy it. That's, you know, we're doing this. It's going to look good for the fans. And I haven't been keeping up to see what the fans are saying on, oh, okay. Well, your legs are out, and I think it's a little disrespectful. You're wearing shorts on the pod right now. People can see you. These are two hats. These are like cool-hot. Shorts, hands. Are you? So you had the hair on your legs that I do. I do. You do not. Just don't get close. I can see you have you shave. That's none of your business. You shave your face. That's not an idea. You never shave. No, I don't. That's like poison. Okay. That's poison. You shave it. I don't like that. But look at this. I can't put pants on when it's on my shoulders. You don't even know. You can't. You can't. We get. Okay. Okay. A thousand paying patriots. Okay. I will shave my legs. You forget that I wax people.

You can wax my legs. I'm going to wax you. I'm going to wax you. Welcome to Fraudwire. Welcome to Fraudwire. A thousand patriots on subs. And I will wax his legs. I'm going to cry about it. I will wax my legs. You're going to wax my legs. You're going to wax my legs. You're going to wax your legs. I'll wax your legs. ından. I'll wax your legs. You're going to wax your legs. I'll wax your legs. I'll wax your legs. I'll wax mine. I'll wax mine. I was right. I have so much pain. I've strange. I have a my secret of not being年 travelling But at this point, I guess it willっち. It is free. It made me feel much more comfortable. It makes me locked somewhere. Like a loop and a rope. It's not around. Right now, I would never wear a sword on stage doing something. I'm just saying, you asked about your outfit. I did ask about my outfit, and let me say, top 10 regrets of the day already. Oh, yeah. The thing about it is you should not ask me a question you want to know the honest answer to, because I still have not learned to be LA like passive. Like to be like, I really like that.

That's great. Yeah, I haven't learned to do that yet. I'm like, no, you shouldn't be wearing shorts, because we're at a comedy show, and you're not wearing shorts on stage right now. This is not a stage. Do you know how hot it gets? I believe you. Then why are you not wearing linens, loose cottons? I have, there's only so many linens. What do you think about this? I wanted to be the soft sunset. I want you to have linens. What is light colored? Before this year, I wore no gold. My father passed away. I wear his ring now. Thousands of varieties are here. You need to learn in necklace now? Yeah, lean in. I'm too Persian already. I didn't want to be this way. So even further. Oh, God. What else do you guys wear like hats and stuff? Get a hat. Get a hat. No, I'm going to wax. I need to like shape my brows. Yes, that's next. But my brows are fine. No, I'm going to shape them. Okay, 5,000. I'll get shaped brows from Cena. I'll do it from 500 Patriots. I think we should do it for five Patriots. I want to do it with the honest brows.

They're not bad brows. Any number of Patriots are fine. I just want you to look more crazy. Yeah, how about for me? I really look angry. Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm going to do. Well, this is the show. This is the show. This is what we do here at Fraud Wires. Well, wait, people just finished four parts of Vince McMahon. I'm so sorry. That was a tough one for me to get through. And I think you see that on my face for most of it. And we didn't even really get through all of his, like I feel like there's more shit to talk about. Oh, I skipped a bunch. I couldn't. My brain. It was too gross. It's too gross. It's not for me. But you love him. So I do not love him. You are just saying that we were so excited to talk about him. We were laughing about how bad we were. You were laughing. Technically, we are victims. Oh, we are victims. Justin and I are victims. Okay. Okay, so believe us. We're, we say we were, we were harmed. Okay.

Okay. Okay. I'm going to let you have that because I haven't had enough coffee to argue with you about whatever it is you just said. I also am coming off of being really ill, Tina. You were, did I get you sick? No. The sun did. Well, what happened? I had heat exhaustion for the first time. Didn't know I could get that. Heat stroke? Heat stroke. What is that mean you stroked out? I can't believe this. I thought that was a second away from stroking. So heat stroke is you would faint and then have to go to the hospital. I would, I did not faint. What happened to you? I got migraines. So I had to, I'm so I lay, I was in on a shoot in Temecula and we had to be in full sun for the day. Okay. And because I was in full sun, I didn't, I couldn't handle it. So after the first hour, I had migraines and I'm like, oh, this is not good. Then by the end of the day, my body ached. It feels like you have the flu. Wow. Yeah.

I know that could happen. So I was sick for like five days. I did not get better and that happened on a Monday. I didn't get better till Friday. Did they get the take so? I think so. It'd be so funny if they just were like, we can't even use it. We got the flu. She looks like shit. Actually, there is a picture of me just like, I said to my friends that I'm unwell. Yeah. So maybe they won't use me. It's funny because I guess when you get to a certain, even water is not going to help you. No, I had, and we tried everything. I had sunscreen. So I didn't get burnt. So there's that. You're always on top. I'm big on my sunscreen. I didn't get burnt, but there's still a braise that are absorbing into your skin. If you're outside all day. So I had a lecture like water. I had those like cold towels. I tried to get in the shade when I could. I had little fans. Nothing. It was too late. Once the sun gets you, it gets you. That's why I'm even thoughtful about like coffee. Yeah. Because it dehydrates you so much when you get out of the side. It's coffee and iced tea too. Yeah. Unless you have like a uncaffeinated one. Yeah. I mean, anyways, real problems. Sorry that happened to you.

When was that? Last week, two weeks ago. Okay. How you recovered in a day or something? I recovered in five days. It took five days for me to get better. That's right. You don't even listen to me. You should five days. Five days. It happened on a Monday and I got better by Friday. So the four days or so. Yeah. Oh. I was still like my body still ached. I was in bed. Windows blinded drawn. Was your boyfriend like, come on. No, he saw. He saw. He was on the roll. And also he's not mean to me. He's like, oh, my sweet baby. You should be laying down all day. And I was like, I will. And so he's very nice to me. That's good. Yeah, you just want nothing but the worst for me. Because I made fun of your little shorts. You are like hoping that I carry legs. Yeah. Anyways, here's my only fans. We're going to put it under here. You can see my legs. You know what? If that's what the people want, I'm going to let them have that too. Yeah. Because he's a victim. I have something fun. I want to talk. Well, it's not fun. It is more fun than some of the murder stuff I've been talking about. Yes.

So this is kind of like an online scammery. Yeah. I do love an online scam. It's very funny. Very funny. This one's silly. This is not the one you're thinking of. We'll start with the Temptation Island girl. Okay. Great. Yes. So this is an increasingly complicated story. Okay. It's surrounding Temptation Island star, Angel Victoria Murdoch, and the life she built online. So for nearly two years, Murdoch presented herself to more than her 300,000 social media followers as a Duke University physician assistant student. Her online persona appeared incredibly convincing. She posted photos and videos of herself in scrubs. She shared medical school notes and study content displayed what appeared to be Duke. Duke. What appeared to be Duke health identification and documented what she described as clinical rotations, including Get Ready With Me videos for psychiatry and OB-GYN rotations.

Let me show one of the like the video. Oh, sure. Yeah. I have headphones. I mean, this is incredible. It's about 2026. But also just very grateful for where I am this year versus last year. Last year during the Dadek Dadek, I was so stressed out all the time from son up to sundown, sitting in classes and having to study for hours on high. I have no free time. I can confidently say that God is the only reason I made it through last year. Oh, my God. Reminding myself that I can handle this. God's got me. Hey, guys, get ready with me for my psychosis. So the audio here is, and this is another one she's posing as this person in school to be a dentist in PA school and I'm a school to be a doctor, etc. We are simply not okay. We're tired. We're stressed out. I can't believe this. She's so believable. She's so believable. She's so believable. She's so believable. She's so believable. She's so believable. She's also wearing scrubs in these videos. It's also not an extreme fraud.

No. So it's incredibly believable. Well, it is until you learn a little more about her. So this particular story reached your breaking point in 2026 when Murdoch posted photos celebrating what she presented as her Duke graduation. She posed outside the university's chapel in a cap and gown and wrote about the sacrifices setbacks late nights and prayers that had supposedly led her to graduation. But actual members of Duke's 2026 physician assistant class immediately noticed some red flex. Her graduation gown was reportedly the wrong color. She wasn't included in the official class portrait and her name wasn't called during the livestream ceremony. Then she showed a clip of the people walking on the screen. But not her. Because you can't fake that. You can just be like, I was there or pick up someone else's clip and sit like cast it off as your own. But even people, if I'm correct, if I'm wrong, people within the program believed her before

the graduation. Yeah, because I guess you could not run into her. But the class was only 89 people. So members of this class start saying they don't recognize her, even though they supposedly spent the previous two years in the same intensive PA program. One class member also pointed out that despite all the medical school content she posted, she had never actually shown herself inside their program. And that wasn't the only digital breadcrumb that started looking suspicious. According to the reporting, classmates had actually discovered her videos months before the graduation conference controversy. But initially didn't have the time or bandwidth to investigate further because of the demands of PA school, of real PA school. Once the graduation photos surfaced, the inconsistencies became much harder to ignore. Then the questions expanded beyond Duke. Murdock has also portrayed herself online as a licensed real estate agent in North Carolina and Georgia. She posted about alleged home sales and client closings and claims she could earn thousands

of dollars a month from real estate. But those claims failed to match state licensing records and a real estate company she was so is said to have worked for reportedly said that she had never been employed there. Her educational background also came under scrutiny with UNC Charlotte confirming that she attended the school but did not graduate, contradicting her reported claim that she completed double majors in psychology and biology. So the timing also makes the story fascinating because during this period that she was building a public profile she was securing brand partnerships and eventually appearing as a temptress in six episodes of Netflix's 2025 revival of temptation island. So in other words, the alleged Duke identity wasn't happening in isolation. It was a part of a larger social media persona that was growing increasingly public. So as the reporting gained attention Murdock deactivated her Instagram and TikTok without public addressing the allegations. The PA school thing was to help her temptation on the thing or vice versa.

I think it was just to get a little bit of a following and saying like, oh, this seems believable. Like who would lie about this? Yes. And maybe she lived close enough to Duke that she could go there and take pictures. Yeah. Like what's close? What school is close that people would be impressed by me? Of course, Duke. Duke is like only 89 people in the graduating class. So probably really hard to get. You know, my law school had not my night school. It was like maybe two two hundred. I you could you do everybody. You least recognize everybody. This crazy. This is crazy. And then she just disappeared. She deactivated her accounts. So what she's also the, I think like the PA school thing is not so illegal, but the license. What do you say? Like I'm posing as a licensed real estate agent. But I think that's illegal. Yes. And I kind of wanted to talk about this because this is just one person, but there are so many people that lie about their personas online. There's a girl recently that I don't, I don't really follow her, but one of my friends bought her to my attention that pretends to be extremely wealthy.

She's getting on private jets. She's doing this and that. But it's all like like a set like sets. Oh, it's set. Yes, she goes to sets pretends she's getting on a private jet pretends that her purse is like a fancy one that she just bought from wherever, but it's really like a dupe and she got the shopping bag. She's just giving you an aspirational lifestyle. Nothing on the internet is real. So wait, is that, is that mental illness? Yes. Or is that good acting? Oh, maybe a little both. Right? Like I, there's a part of me that's like, I don't know. Isn't this what they want us to be doing? Isn't this what the, what the, what the animals are made for people to do? Like we should have, we should expect this when we gave every human being in the world of microphone in the stage. Yeah. Yeah, we're just, you know, farming for clicks and likes and attention and she got it. I wonder. And it is good. I guess if you're trying to get on to a reality show to build a persona that seems kind

of interesting and that has a lot of followers, seems like you're smart. So they don't think you're stupid on Tentation Island. Like you want to be a hot smart girl. So I'll just be that's the persona. I don't like if a realy producer is looking, they're like, oh, she's going to be following it's great. Even though like a lot of times the following doesn't necessarily equate to like you making money. Yeah, but for reality TV, that's what they look for. Yeah. They're looking for someone that already has a little bit of a following. Oh my God. Yeah. I guess this is happening a lot. We should do it. It'd be fun to do an episode in one of those airplane sets. There's probably so many out here. Yeah. We should. That would be cool. I would love that. I would love that. Pretend to be on a private jet all the time. We call it the last podcast network. Airlines. Yeah. And people would believe it. Because if they don't listen to this episode and we just show up on a private jet, they're like, yeah, this is ours. We can fly this whenever we want. This is what we're doing. That's he look. It's that's what's going on out here. So should we take a quick break and then come back? I guess we could because this seems to really upset you.

No, this did. I just this is confusing to me. I think what's confusing? I think a lot. Oh, you do. I, you're like my dad who's like, no, people couldn't actually do this. How could you lie this long? Yes. Yeah. No, it is just weird for my brain to think about all the effort it takes. And maybe not the ever, but like the disassociated ofness that it takes to just with cold sobriety lie about going to school is like, oops, the seatbelt. It could be now if she really wanted to come back, she could say that she was playing a character. Yeah, yeah, this is art. Yeah, that this was art. I was playing a character of a person that was going to school and assuming that life. I just, I don't know. I can't. It's fun when I watch the life leave from your eyes when we do, when we do these episodes.

I just like, I don't think, I don't think I want to do this anymore. Just, this is so crazy. All right, we will take a break. Yeah, we'll be right back. I'll try to pull myself together again. It's worse than the murder stuff sometimes. Oh, no, it's not. Okay, nobody died. All right. Okay, we'll be back. New amount is maybe shown. We are back for my voice. Your knees, head, shoulders, knees, and toes. I have another story that I think you're going to really know. This I think you'll like because it's fun and festive. Okay. But this one is about a man that was accused of creating a fake, an elaborate fake identity as a San Francisco's 49er player and allegedly use that persona to scan women out of more than $1.3 million. There's something incredible about that. I kind of love it too. Again, you called it when you texted me this, you called it the wide deceiver. Yes, that's what he's affectionately known as on the internet. I can't take the credit for it. I know. He's the wide deceiver. But it's really funny. It's not funny. People lost money, whatever. But nobody died. And it's silly. Also I've noticed that people with the last name love are usually scammers.

His name, Dejon LeBraya Love. Do you remember Dr. Love? Dr. Love of course. Courtney Love. Courtney Love. Courtney Love. Of Love fame. So Dejon LeBraya Love allegedly spent years presenting himself online as a professional football player. He reportedly posted photos and videos of himself wearing 49ers gear, working out in football equipment and living what appeared to be the luxury lifestyle of an NFL athlete. He allegedly showed off expensive cars, designer items, and other signs of wealth, creating the impression that he was a successful professional athlete with money to spend. And we, I'll play the video. You want to keep reading and then I'll keep the audio will be off. Oh, it's so silly. So we're starting. He's on the beach with the San Francisco 49ers helmet on. Yes. And it's you know, I don't know much about NFL merch. Can you just simply purchase the merch online? Okay.

Great. It's not that hard. All this stuff you get at like a lids or even a swap meet perhaps. Yeah. Okay. Where do you get these watches though? They got the big bling watch. Probably eBay or there's a DH gate. You can make a fake watch. Yeah. I'll show you DH gate more, more out of here. And he's also showing keys, key fobs for different cars. Yeah. Which is also extremely easy to purchase. Yeah. You could just get a key and pretend it's for the car. So according to federal prosecutors, the NFL career was completely fabricated. So the scheme reportedly began in 2022 and continued for several years with investigators identifying at least 26 women across multiple states who were allegedly victimized. Love is accused of meeting women through dating apps and social media, developing romantic relationships with them and eventually convincing them to give him money. And also the thing is if I'm a 49ers guy and I'm living this lavish lifestyle, why would

I be asking random women for money? This is the fundamental thing that is so confusing is most of the time athletes do not ask anyone for money. It's actually they have a lot of problems where people are asking them for money and they need to go to a wealth advisor to like manage their money. They become a little business. They become like a family office kind of thing where there's never a time unless you're like Warren Sap after he lost all of his money. Are they asking for money? And also not even they're just asking for money. It's like investment. I don't know who that is. Okay. But there what about the guy that had the dog fights? Money? Did he lose money? Yeah, he lost it. But then he went to prison and he came back and he played for the Steelers and he's been. Oh, he did? He did? Wow. Unless you may not have space for Michael Vick, I understand that. I don't really have space for Michael Vick, but I didn't know that he came back and started doing football again.

Yeah, he had to pay all the money. Interesting. Yeah, he wasn't going to be able to do anything else. Back to this guy, Mr. Love. The story gets a little more elaborate. Oh, please. So by the way, in the video too that we're showing, he's like signing a fake contract. Oh, yeah. He's. He's making it look good. And he also just for, you know, we have more followers than this man does. Oh, he flashed his Instagram. And I'm like, maybe they unfollowed him recently. Maybe he got a mass unfollowing. And he's doing like exercises that you would notice it football people doing stuff like that, which is also extremely easy to do. He's sitting in cars also extremely. I anyone can sit in a car and not for nothing. Most of the women, they've got a look. Okay. Look and I'll leave it at that. So Love allegedly didn't just tell women. He was an NFL player. He created an entire digital world to support the claim.

He used football photos and videos, 49ers uniforms and equipment, lunch or recars, suppose business ventures to make the lifestyle look authentic. At one point, he even pointed to an online search result that appeared to identify him as a 49ers player using the internet itself as a form of proof. Anyone could change their Wikipedia. I could change ours. I should change. I should. Yeah. I have to get better at scaring as a person that talks about scams all the time. He tried to get on cameo. Damn. That's hilarious. He probably still can because people would want to hear from him now. They screen shot at his thing and what's funny. When Dacia loved tries to get in your DMs. That's really incredible. This also involves another person, Taylor Jamie Chan, who prosecutors say post as loves financial advisor and helped reinforce the story. According to the allegations, women were presented with supposed investment opportunities or financial emergencies and were persuaded to provide significant amounts of money, including taking out personal loans. Again, what?

If this man is so rich and famous and on the 49ers, and I could Wikipedia him and find out that he was really a rich guy, why am I sending him personal loan amount of money? But I guess you may be want to be involved with someone and you feel taken by how charismatic they are and then you want to be in their circle. And he's offering this opportunity to you. I guess a lifestyle. Yeah, it's like a life sentence. It's like, oh, this will be great. I think also they're given the way our country is set up. People are so primed to get fast money. You got to pay to play. And you've got to pay to play and then it's like, we don't give anyone health care. Like foundational things are not guaranteed here. And so everyone needs to like get their nuts somehow constantly. And sometimes you send a random man who claims who is wearing a helmet on the beach.

No other equipment by the way. He was just wearing a 49ers helmet and running around on the beach. Pell, you don't need anything else. I guess that's true when you're so good at football. And like the real question should have been, what gym are you a member at? He's probably at the 24 hour fitness by my house. I've definitely seen this guy. You know, he's like, I haven't seen you at Equinox. Well, the deception wasn't just one fake Instagram or one lie on a dating app. It involved the entire identity, the NFL career, the presence, the money, the cars, the connections, the romantic relationships. And even the supposed connections to real professional athletes. But there were also lots of red flags. He claimed relationships with people in the NFL who reportedly said they didn't know him. He presented himself as a professional athlete despite never appearing on an NFL roster. And the lifestyle he displayed online allegedly helped reinforce the idea that he had access to the kind of money and connections that would come with an NFL career. Eventually, the scheme caught the attention of investigators, love and chan were arrested

in August and charged federally with the conspiracy to commit wire fraud. The allegations have not been proven in court. What? This story just raises another big question. Similarly to the first one, how do you convince others that you are living this life that doesn't actually exist? I wonder where he was actually living. Like what? Do you think he was like, maybe he was like a hobo sexual and he was just living with women. Yeah, was he sleeping with these ones? Did he dating them? I don't know. So I don't know if it's like people that he just met online and was just getting money from them or if he was actually hanging out with these people. Also if these people are watching, yeah, call us up. Hit our Patreon up. Yeah, I'm in just a real. We also, we know celebrities. Yeah, we know them that are here. They're here. I mean, celebrity to some. Yes. To celebrate to some does not mean celebrity to all. Yeah. I'll just say that. But we know celebrities.

We know people that could be a celebrity that are very popular among people that are popular in the group. Exactly. It's not up. I don't I don't understand either. It's confusing to me like what would what would make someone what again involved. I guess also that little that that Asia do was probably hard sell them as is like financial advisor. Well, he really knows what he's doing. He's fancy. I think that the Asian is a woman. Taylor Jamie Chan. I think I'm not 100% on that. But either way, they made it look legit. Yeah. So maybe they got a kickback from some of the money and maybe they misgendered them and they like, you know, they like said something. Yeah. And maybe I'll give you this money. I'll give you this money. It's fine. It's fine. Yeah. This was a really silly story, especially when you see him and you're like, this scrawny guy that looks broke. Yes.

That's just wearing a 49ers helmet. I could pretend to be a football player and see if I can get some money from a brand of a guy like this definitely should get arrested, go to prison, stuff like that. But we all I always like to think back to if the fraud is big enough, then you won't get caught. You know, if he posed as like, there was that one story about all the way back in the day, this guy said he was the owner of the New York Islanders and was trying to sell the team. And he like got really far. And it was like, there's a whole thing. Oh, I think I've got the story right. There was a whole documentary about it. I saw it years ago. Okay. But it's like, you know, that guy's kind of like a hero. People were all about that, dude. This guy is going to get totally shickened everywhere he goes now. But if he was like, I own the 49ers. Yeah. Yeah. I'm a former. I played in the 90s. Right. And that's what he should have done.

I used to, I used to play because then you could, you could make some Photoshop photos. You can make something happen. But this, come on. I mean, we don't like to blame the victims of the people, but like I might hear because we have ladies. We have to do a little more than one Google. If only Wikipedia, the thing you can edit says that he's on the 49ers and nowhere else has pictures of him. None of the other football players know him. It's just not looking good. I mean, for hell. And I have to send him money. Chachypt would have knocked this out for you real quick. And that you know, that would have been like, you know what? You're right. It does seem like this guy plays with a 49er. It's G.B.D. when he's like, it doesn't look like this person's on a erasers. And then he was like, well, he told me. And he is. It's like, you know what? You're so right. You're so right. You know what? I'm going to take his back to home. And that's my bad. That's all.

So that is the wide deceiver. We had fun. He's not charged. There's a court's record. Yeah, this is new. This is fresh. This is a good one. We will keep you posted if he gets charged and goes to jail. It's right currently he's just a shadow. It's just whatever like investigator. It was threats. It was black threads. I mean, the both of these stories actually, there was some investiga that I had to like put this together and that must have been just a fun time. Yeah. I mean, it's it was fun for me to put it together and talk about. It's incredible. So again, like what a time. What a time to be like. Just don't cold sober. Look at just lying so well, you know, I guess so I won't victim. I mean, women are lonely. They want to be loved and it's so hard out here to date. I will love all of you women. I will love all the women. Don't if Cosmos listening. She does. But let me tell you, my wife doesn't listen to me. I know. I know. I am 80% sure he doesn't listen.

He might be listening. We were out to dinner last week or whatever. It's so was angry like, oh, he listens. She's like, no. Absolutely. I'm shaded. The hardest. I want to listen to him on a daily basis. I want to listen to a podcast. It looks amazing. I hear him through the wall. He has the same opinions on the podcast that he does at home. I don't need to listen to the podcast. And that's fair. I'll go from like a geopolitical take to a fraud take to what's for dinner. Yeah, she's like, I had enough. I don't need to listen. All right, let's take another break and we'll come back with another scam. We'll be right back after this message from Turkish Airlines. After living with type 1 diabetes for more than 20 years, Naomi wanted a better option for low blood sugar, something that worked quickly but actually tasted good too. So she created glow gummies, delicious glucose gummies made with fast-acting dextrose to raise blood sugar quickly. Welcome back to FraudWire. Sedna is currently crying because his wife will not listen to the podcast. I mean, lead us to listen to anything. No, I don't think so. Maybe. I don't think he listens to podcasts. Oh, yeah. Yeah. He plays games. He plays video games. Oh, okay. Yeah. So there's that gamer lifestyle. I know. Really cool. Really cool.

But also, it's like, you know, let men have their hobbies. Yeah, for sure. My son started getting Pokemon cards, so people started gifting. Incredible. I have some. I missed Pokemon. I was like, it just missed me. So I downloaded it on the switch and I just started playing Pokemon for the first time. How do you like it? It's very cool. It is fun. It's very cute. I totally get it. It's fun. I get it. It's like the surprise element at times. Yeah. I'm like, oh, man, what's going to happen? And so now I'm kind of in it. And so because I want to be able to like talk to him about, there's nothing worse than when your kid isn't an entire universe. That you don't understand. And you don't all, I hate, I always didn't like it when other parents were growing up or just like had no clue about anything. And I was like, I definitely want to know what's going on. It'll be immersed. And when I want to get it. And also, I think Pokemon was like a cool cultural thing that I never got to participate in. Yeah, I guess you did miss that. Yeah. Because that was when I was a kid. I had Pokemon cards. I had a whole binder. It was like one or two years. And then it was like, I ended up in the Pogs.

Oh. Pogs, Lammers. I remember that the much, much, much older kids. The dogs. All right. This is what it says. You walk into these things. Yes, it was Ariel's 42nd birthday. No, it wasn't. It wasn't. You know, nothing about me. All right. Well, here's our final scam. Oh, yeah. They're all kind of the same idea of, you know, the internet scammery, the lies that we can portray ourselves as on the internet. So this is a new investment scam. And it uses artificial intelligence to make a completely fake endorsement from a celebrity look and sound real. So a victim in Northern Ireland reportedly lost 250,000 pounds. They have pounds back there. That's what that is. In Ireland. Yes. Okay, great. Because I saw the little school. You know, that's great. Thank you so much. After seeing an online investment, advertised featuring what appeared to be a well-known

figure from the financial world, the video looked convincing enough to make the investment opportunity seen legitimate. But police say the celebrity endorsement was actually AI generated. The fake video was only the beginning. So after this victim initially invested a relatively small amount of money, the scammers moved the conversation away from the original advertisement and on to WhatsApp. And that's red flag number one. Oh, man. Yeah. From there, they continued building trust and encouraged the victim to make additional payments, creating the impression that more money would lead to bigger returns. If you only listen to our Dr. Umar Johnson episodes. If you all listen to every episode, we talk about, don't leave the app. Don't go to WhatsApp. Don't send little amounts that create bigger ones. Just don't do it. She would have just listened. The scammers went further persuading the victim to create multiple online accounts and gave them remote access to their computer under the guise of helping with the investment. Well, remote access is I can't with that, that to me, I would be screaming remote access.

Yeah. Why do we do it in my computer? I want no one in my world. What do we do it? Are we not? It's 20. They didn't learn about this in Ireland, apparently. So it's fine. Eventually, according the police, the victim was encouraged to borrow money and transfer increasingly large amounts of cash to the fraudsters. And by the time the victim realized something was wrong, 250,000 pounds was gone. And what makes this case particularly unsettling is that the scam wasn't relying on one obvious fake email or probably written message, AI was allegedly used to create the appearance of a legitimate celebrity endorsement. Being designed to make potential investors feel as though a trusted recognizable person was personally backing the opportunity. So police and we have warned that AI can now be used to create convincing fake videos, voices, advertisements, websites, and even celebrity endorsements. And the problem is not limited to one particular public figure. Similar scams have reportedly used the likeness of well-known financial personalities, including

Martin Lewis, Peter Jones, and Stephen Bartlett without their involvement. And the story also shows how these scams can work psychologically. The fake celebrity video gets someone's attention. Small initial investment makes the opportunity feel real. Direct messages create a personal connection. Then the victim puts more and more money in. The scammers have an incentive to keep reassuring them that everything's legitimate. And by the time something feels wrong, the financial and emotional commitment has already been enormous. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The AI thing, it's interesting because I started like my production business too. Basically the thing I say to people when we try to make videos for them is like you can't believe anything you see anymore. So what we do is just like let me just talk to you and you just talk. And I think there's a great moment here where people can, if you just start talking like a normal fucking person. Generally people can see. Yeah. Well, not everyone can tell.

I guess but like, I don't know. I think I guess that no one, you just got to talk. Yeah. And then I think more and more people will understand the ways that these AI avatars will work. They're going to get more sophisticated. But it's a bummer. It's a bummer because like does I feel like parents send you videos and like look at this thing, this cool thing. And I'm like this is not real. What the thing you're watching isn't real. So I wonder how to like how can we train our parents and because this is an older woman that's happened to how can we train our parents and grandparents to be like more discerning of these AI videos. This is scary. My mom is sending me AI videos all the time. My grandma sent me my grandma's very online. Yeah. She sends me lots of AI videos. Lots of it. And I'm like, mom, it's like the message is what she's talking about. Yeah. And she's like, well, I'm like, okay, well, you, but she's like, but this is nice. This is cute. I don't care. I don't care that it's fake. Exactly. And people also, it's the same thing that goes back to the basics of fraud when you're the victim of it is that when you're on the ride, you don't want to believe that you're

vulnerable. Yeah. You don't want to believe that you are someone that could be defrauded. Yeah. And that's very, very difficult because your neural pathways get all dialed in. You're like, I'm doing this investment or I'm doing this. This person said they loved me. That really gets deep into your brain. There's also that like sunk cost fallacy. I've already spent this much so it can't be fake. I've already done. Oh, yeah. Yeah, it's got to be, there's got to be some truth to this. It has to be kind of real. These apes are going to make so much money for me. Yeah. Yeah. Speaking of personal, it's good. We've all been there. I don't know who it is. We've all been there. Someone said that. I don't know. I'll just look in the mirror and find out. Yeah. Yeah. I think what it's like, it's a very strange time we're entering to because not knowing in our administration is talking about how to keep people safe when it comes to this stuff. Yeah, it's really the wall wall list. And so we need to educate people to a certain extent as much as we can.

But like what, what olds are watching our show, you know? I mean, they're out there. I mean, I hope so. If you're an old, listen in or watching. We love you. My dad listens. But I wouldn't call him an old. Yeah, he's young at heart. He's young at heart. Yeah. Yeah. Oldest listener. Yeah. But I think it's, it's, I worry about, first of all, I'm, this stuff is one part of it, right? That's a problem with AI. My, my concern, cyber terrorism, bio warfare, like the electrical grid coming down. Well, yeah. I guess so. You think of the bigger things. I think of like my likeness is going to be used to sell tampons soon. And I don't, I don't want my, you've been out. I'm doing a lot. I have an outside doing a lot, but so which means somebody's going to take my likeness at some point and use it for evil. Shout out to Sierra Monica or artist for this season. She asked, you know, when we paid her for the work, I was like any, you know, like licensing

stuff, you know what I mean? Like that kind of stuff I always ask. And she's like, yeah, no, it's fine. Like whatever, just make sure it doesn't get ingested into a large language model, which I thought was such a great request. Yeah. And so smart because, you know, before when you like do a voiceover, you do something, you're like, okay, you can use my voice worldwide for this amount of time in this way. But now it's like if one time your work gets ingested into a large language model, it's it's over. It's over. And even then that's like they're also still just stealing everything on the internet right now. Yeah. So I mean, I think eventually they're going to have to pay the someone. There's going to have to be a fund of some kind. But you know, Google didn't have to do that. There's a couple of these, of just like taking people's identities or faces or bodies that I've seen so far in like TikTok and Instagram, just random people. It's not anyone that's like super famous or anything.

It's just a woman will have a funny joke and someone will kind of copy and paste what she's wearing, where she's going and put their face on. Yes. And take the same video and it goes viral because maybe they're they have more cleavage in the video or she's got like blue eyes and people respond more to that. Yeah. So that a lot of that has been happening as well. The deep fakes. We're going to do some AI stuff. We're going to do some AI stuff. It makes me sad. I know that you're worried about the grid, but I'm worried about someone just putting giant knockers on me and then selling bras, you know, on the internet. And you'll know it's not me because the real me is flat-chested. You'll immediately know it's not me. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. I recognize those anywhere. Yeah. Hey, I want on our show. We'll definitely talk about those because it's not just even that fraud. It's like, how does it all bubble up from the bottom?

Yeah. And it's like a core of what it does. This is a tool that can help a lot of it. It's like solving math. You know what I mean? It's going to help with like medicine, but it's also going to create deep fakes and put huge knockers on the deep. Yeah. And I don't want it. I don't want anime knockers on my person. Technology does a funny thing where it solves three problems and creates four more. Yeah. You know, that's what's happening. Yeah. That's what all of this is. It really is. You're like, well, it's great. You're like, whoa, why do we have to do it that way? Why is this happening? It's awful. Amazing. Well, we're going to take a break. And then this is the end of this far wire for the public feed. That's right. But then we're going to move on to our Patreon feed. What's on the Patreon? On the Patreon, we're going to talk about something that's taken over Black threads or Black Twitter. It is the cat harness scammer. That's all I'll say. I don't know what any of those words mean together. Exactly. I also want to talk about the Nathan Fielder.

Oh, let's do that. Yeah, yeah. I'm already emotionally troubled. And that's what he wants you to feel. Okay. Let's just let's talk about the Patre because I have a lot of feelings about that. Okay.
