Si è salvata perché fu nascosta in una nicchia protetta da terreno soffice sotto il Tempio del Sole - alle pendici del Quirinale - e trovata dal grande archeologo Rodolfo Lanciani, durante gli scavi di Roma alla fine del 19esimo secolo. Ma c’è anche chi ritiene facesse parte del bottino di un antiquario-tombarolo di fine Ottocento, come sostiene il direttore del Museo Nazionale Romano, il professor Stéphane Verger, ospite del nostro podcast insieme ad un grande esperto di boxe, il giornalista Mario Giambuzzi.
