My name's Mackenzie and I started to go fund me for the adoptive mother of a nonverbal
autistic child.
The mother had lost her job because she wasn't able to find adequate care for this autistic
child.
So she really needed some help with living expenses, paying some back bills.
So I launched a GoFundMe to help support them during this crisis.
And we raised about $10,000 within just a couple of months.
I think that the surprising thing was by telling a clear story and just like really being
very clear about what we needed, we had some really generous donations from people who
were really moved by the situation that this family was struggling with.
GoFundMe is the world's number one fundraising platform, trusted by over 200 million people.

This podcast is supported by GoFundMe.
We have a show to do today.
The whole new acronym thing drives me everything.
Can we call them by his name?
I'm not eight five to sports.
Kit Rosen thought you could add on young JJ weather hole.
Well he's one of those candidates for an extension as you mentioned Adam and clubs do these
deals for a very simple reason.
They believe the players will outperform the contracts and agents and player representatives
from the union will tell you that the hit rate is a lot higher than the miss rate that these
contracts generally do prove favorable for the clubs.
But John Alex Cora was talking us about this today and he said the dynamic changes though.
It changes when you have a number of players under those kinds of deals and that is what
the concern can be for some of these teams.
I wonder if we find everything's on the table from the week and this is something that
I did not touch on during the week and as I wanted to because I think it speaks to I remember
this.
Yeah.
Now you wanted to get to it.
Well, I'm sorry.
No, I said I remember that you wanted to get to it.
We never did.
I think Cora is feeling the heat and I think this exchange here starting with the Ken
Rosenthal report isn't a sign of it.
And that was kind of and if you heard it you listen and just simply they were playing the
Cardinals and their Cardinals are about to sign one of their minor league players to
one of these long contracts before the kid reaches a major leagues or does anything in
the major leagues and this has become a trend across the league.
And Rosenthal asked Cora about it, you know, just discussing the topic and the Red Sox
have several of these players obviously.
And Cora kind of turned it into a negative and Tyler Milliken tweeted this out that Cora
kind of said, yeah, this is happening, but that means you have to deal with some other
things, just paraphrasing.
And a lot of people read into that rightfully so that why would be Cora be saying anything
other than great things about this practice?
Well, he didn't.
He kind of put the brakes on it and said, well, then yeah, that opens up other things
and you have to deal with other things.
And I think we rightfully interpreted that as Cora kind of reacting to the fact that the
Red Sox have done this now recently with several guys and it hasn't worked yet.
Christian Campbell hasn't lived up to the contract, not even close.
Brian Bale has not lived up to the contract.
Roman Anthony has not lived up to the contract in the early going Sedan Rafaella.
He got one too, right?
He did.
Yep.
And I don't think he's quite lived up to the contract.
So the Red Sox have done this.
Now they've made it a practice.
And they're in last place.
And I think that to me was the undercurrent with Alex Cora on that.
Okay.
So I think that got back to Cora because he was then asked about it the next day by
downtown Ian Brown or others, the writers because there's not sound of this.
But it was printed by several of the writers.
So he told the writers when asked about this.
He said, you know what?
I think it's effing bull crap to be honest with you, except he didn't say bull crap.
Exactly.
Effing BS to be honest with you.
There's conversations about the Red Sox, there's conversations about the industry.
I was an explorer and it's a lot different compared to what's in the past.
So I know the dynamics of the business right now and this is what we're working for.
It's not that now it's harder or not harder.
It's the dynamics of the business.
It's a great business model.
It is because you want to keep your pieces as long as possible, as young as possible
and develop them.
That doesn't mean it's a bad product or it's a bad roster or it's a bad team.
It's a different structure than in the past and you have to deal with other stuff.
It doesn't make it harder.
It makes it doesn't make it harder or oh, it's so uncomfortable now to manage in the big
leagues.
No, it's just different because there's a lot of young people here that you have to keep
teaching the game and quote, Courageous doubled down on the exact thing.
He just said to Ken Rosenthal.
Pretty much.
You need to develop them when they get here.
He didn't take it back.
He meant to, but by saying it's f'ing BS and sort of lashing out, I think he's feeling
the heat because he knows, well, a lot of people are going to do what we did, which is,
yeah, the Red Sox are doing this and they're in last place and Courage calling it out.
And I don't, I think he doesn't like the look of that to his bosses who he promised when
he signed the extension that I'll cut the crap.
And the crap is, you know, his bitchiness and just complaining.
His bitchiness of calling out the roster and calling out what he's been given, the roster
is the roster.
Right.
Then that sort of thing that he does routinely and I think he's still doing this year
with some of his lineups.
And I think that's what he did with Ken Rosenthal and that comment, like, yeah, Ken, it's
great.
But, you know, the dynamic changes.
And in this whole answer, he just sort of confirmed that he didn't, he just explained
it further in a roundabout way, but he was lashing out because I think, I think he's
feeling the heat.
I think he got called out by someone on his team or someone in the organization.
I mean, that's what I mean.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think again, someone, whether it was ownership, whether it was Breslow, I think someone
called them out and said, what are you doing?
This thing's getting all this attention now on the internet because you said, so what,
you don't like the way that we're signing younger players?
And Courage said, what?
So he got called out on it and then he got pissed off.
And then he, you know, lashed out the way he did.
So, but my guess is in his gut, he feels that way.
Of course, he just, he basically confirms it.
Of course.
Yeah.
He looks at it and he says, now we get all these young guys, we have no leadership and
we got to teach him how to play the big leagues while we're getting our asses kicked.
I was an ex-player.
It's different compared to what's in the past.
Is it?
They're right.
Right.
Exactly.
Yes.
These teams are thinking business first when it comes to these young players.
They want to get out ahead of it.
And well, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
It doesn't seem to quite be working here.
Like it does in some of these small markets.
The red socks so want to be small market.
They so want to be.
They just suck at it.
They can't do it.
Mike, think of all the guys they brought up who weren't ready when they got here.
Jarron Durand wasn't even close to ready when he came up to the big leagues.
He couldn't track a five, five ball until his third year in the big leagues.
He was not ready to be here, but they ran his ass up here fast.
As when he got here defensively was not ready to play in the big leagues.
Roman Anthony defensively was not ready to play in the big leagues.
After his first game, they had to do drills with them on the field the next day.
And I haven't even mentioned Christian Campbell who's a whole different story altogether.
So like how many guys have they, and you know why these guys get here?
And you've said this about the contract.
Campbell took the contract.
And now they have to take advantage of the fact that they're getting them on the cheap
and let's get them into the big leagues.
Let's hustle him here, even though he's not ready to play.
So they're, they're all the way in on this philosophy.
And it's driving Cora up the freaking wall 100% and we all rightfully draw those lines.
And he knows that that has the impression of him calling out the organization.
And he promised him he wouldn't do that when he signed that new contract.
I mean, I'm not that part.
I'm just assuming because he did kind of put a sock in it about last year around that extension
and paying it was to shut him up when they know what really when they get rid of Devers.
Yeah.
You know, to me, I noticed a change there when that Devers thing happened, Cora was on board.
And to me, something happened right around them.
Okay.
Back to your phones on everything as promised.
Josh and New Hampshire has a Celtic thought here on the gender free Friday.
Go ahead, Josh.
Hey, fellas, I know it really doesn't matter.
But I don't think the Celtics are going to sweep the fixtures here.
Like, you know, I think Maxie's a killer.
Edgecom is a really good young player.
They have a good mix of veterans and young players, obviously.
Let me tell you, if this takes any more than five games, I would be concerned if I were
a Celtic.
Yeah, it shouldn't be, shouldn't be no more than five.
It's going to be a, it would be a bad sign of your playoff readiness.
I'll give you, you can drop one, you know.
But if it's anything more than a five game series, I'd have a little, I'd have a little
thing, a little thing in my stomach about, oh, you'd come out of it with question marks.
If it goes six, I think that's fair to say.
Yeah.
I think that five, it can happen.
You can lose one down there.
Phillies all about the back court and the Celtics Brown should be able to neutralize one
of those guys.
Sixers of trash.
Louis name's very glad.
Louis.
Hey guys, how you doing?
Happy Friday.
I love your Friday content, love your show.
And I know we think no lightning round.
Can I just rattle through a couple of things, Mads?
You started off the show, Mads, and you know, man, I'm like disappointed, man, you have
disappointed in you, Louis.
Let's say, Mads, I haven't said anything for you to be disappointed for God's sake.
Please just have.
Just go.
Mads.
Go, Louis, go.
You started off the, you started off the show laughing about what's happening with the
red socks upcoming with the, with the pitches upcoming.
You have your baseball show, you've got great knowledge about the red socks, and you're
going to laugh and be critical about the red socks with the upcoming, with the pitches
playing against the red socks upcoming.
So listen, and real, real quick, let me go.
Chrissy Floyd that's freaking, and I'll start with who am I?
But are you guys seriously suggesting, are you seriously suggesting that he should have
some kind of like rebuttal for saying the stuff that he said, did you hear what he said?
She was banging some quarterback, and, and, and she's going to give a Diana Rossini.
Yeah.
Yeah.
At least she owned it unlike Diana Rossini.
Exactly.
At least someone's being honest, I'll take the one that's being honest.
I got no problems with what she said.
Seriously, I don't understand, but Louis problem is, it's another female journalist who, I
guess is, at least in the ballpark of some of the same conditions.
And so why not?
Why should this shouldn't, isn't she like the perfect person and you can call her hypocrite
if you want?
Yeah.
That's fine.
Fine.
I'm telling you, she represents what a lot of women, media people feel, and you know,
she's been there and done that.
So to speak, Mike and Norwood, yes, Mike.
Yeah, you guys are highlighting before how none of the last 10 first or, like,
topic teams out of tanks have won Stanley Cups, but on the flip side of that,
among the last 11 Stanley Cup winners, nine of those teams have been teams that have
tanked.
Got the first overall pick and then one with that first overall, they want to
Stanley Cup about first overall pick with the two exceptions being the St. Louis
Blues and the Vegas Golden Knights.
That's not right.
That's not right.
What?
I saw you.
I have the teams right here.
You want me to run through it real quick?
So you're including Aaron Eckblad, who is that afterthought on that team?
Yes, but that's the first that teams that, yes, that's barcov Eckblad and then who
wrote which was trading for Kachak abs, McKinnon McCarr, Tampa Bay, Stamco's headman.
Hold on.
My car was drafted for overall or so you're saying top 10 picks, McKinnon, McKinnon
was drafted first.
Okay, listen, Mike, so listen, instead of doing that.
So the Bruins are parked doing what they're doing.
I'm just saying nine of the last 11 champions have won with they've drafted number one overall
and then they have gone on to win the Stanley Cup.
With that first overall pick.
Yes, yes, like Chicago 2015, Kane, Pittsburgh, Crosby, three times 2009, but in the past 10
years 2016, 2017, going quick.
Capital's of Etchkin, Tampa Bay, Stamco's, Colorado, McKinnon, Vegas Golden Knights,
Etchkin, I mean, but obviously I go, go ahead, but we'll count that as an exception.
And then Florida being barcov Eckblad, Hubert out, and then obviously trade for Kachak.
So nine of the last 11.
So the Bruins are parked unless you want to do one of the exceptions like the Blues,
they're the biggest Golden Knights, but it's just a very much lower probability.
There's a port.
See, I don't give you Eckblad.
And do you understand barcov who I love?
I love Sasha barcov.
I think he's one of the great winning players in the league.
He couldn't win until they started trading some of those other draft picks and bringing
in more sort of playoff ready adults.
He didn't, he wasn't, as much as I like him, he wasn't the central figure in those championships.
It was Matthew Kachak that went there and changed everything.
And Stamco's didn't win until they got him in and McKinnon didn't win until they got
Makar.
And I mean, do you understand how long those teams had to suck and how long they were
in the league like Aaron Eckblad.
That doesn't count.
I mean, that's sorry Aaron Eckblad didn't win him a champ that they're losing and drafting
of Aaron Eckblad did not win them a championship, even though he was still on the roster.
So you know that's not really in the spirit of what we're talking about.
But go ahead then, but if that's how you feel, then this is stupid.
The Bruins winning these games, stupid, dumb.
They should have gone from the seventh pick and gone to the bottom of the league and stayed
there for like five to 10 years.
So dummies, dumbasses, I don't know why you're going to watch on Sunday.
I don't know why you would bother.
I mean, look, Edmonton are just spinning the wheels in the middle of the league, dummies.
Edmonton obviously got me David, okay.
Prior to that, how many first round picks do they have at the time?
How many f'ing first round, I still think Edmonton is an argument against the practice.
And people take this mic and they just, they interpret it the wrong way.
So you, because they turn it into so you can't win with the number one pick on your roster.
No, that's not what the argument is at all.
The argument is you don't want to be down there year after year after year and think you
can build it solely through the draft because that doesn't work the large majority of the
time.
Do you know how many teams I gave it to yesterday?
How many teams are in this rut of missing the playoffs for half decades, decades at a
time and have gone nowhere, nowhere with these draft picks.
Do you want me to give you that?
Don't make me give you that list again.
But if you think that's what it takes, if you want to be one of those teams, then call
out the bronze for being stupid that they went at this wrong.
They won too many games.
They kept too many players.
They got to trade them all for you.
I mean, for you to be what, for this to be what you want, why do they, why do you get
on me for criticizing postlock?
You should want them out.
And McAvoy out, the swimming out, it's time to go to the bottom of the league.
We can't win without it for way.
We can't win without these draft picks.
So what are we doing here?
Don't watch, start a petition to get them to trade these guys and start losing.
So you can get, we all these draft picks, that's what you want, I guess.
So this is what frustrates me.
What do you want?
Is that really what you think is going to win?
You must.
Nine in the last 11.
I've had one of these picks.
Well, the Bruins are after their port.
So watch Netflix on Sunday and don't get engaged until they trade all these guys.
And then I'll talk to you in like seven years, after they've made all these picks, we
look at these picks and the picks and the picks.
And then in the year 2034, maybe they'll be in eight seed like the Ottawa Senators.
Because that's what they just did.
Or maybe not, maybe there'll be the Detroit Red Wings who have been doing that for ten
years and still haven't even made the playoffs ten years.
Maybe you'll be the sharks.
We look at Macklencelabri, we seven years, seven years, where they can't even get to
number 16.
Never mind number one, they can't even make the playoffs.
But that's what it takes.
So you're right.
I'm wrong.
Why are you bothered?
Don't watch.
Oh, we're back right after this story.
You know the place.

Oh my God.
Murray sucks in the play.
That's great.
No.
98-5.
Wonderful.
Good the sports hub.
Let's start off in New England where the tough talk and patriot media embarrassed themselves
yesterday.
First off, the big coward Mike Grable.
No shows for the press conference regarding the draft.
There's a lot of people out there that are going to tell you, hey, Carden, want to do
your research?
He told us back in March and he wasn't going to be at the press conference.
Yeah.
So?
And that changes things?
Craig Carden won after us meeting the Boston media.
He actually gave a little shout out to Felgrimaz, doing the right thing.
But the Boston media, not exactly Diana Racini, complained about this being a frenzy.
Not here and ain't.
Not here.
Here.
Here.
Here are the only ones doing the about of the talk shows.
A few of them.
Not even all of them.
So I understand where Carden's coming from.
Just give me the number two.
Just so we follow.
We cut in the middle there for the rejoin.
Just give me the rest of it.
How about the fact that for God?
It claims to be a tough guy that bullies people and intimidates people.
Whether you plan on showing up or not.
This would be a good time to, you know, spout your innocence.
And to let people know that the pictures we all saw are not where we think they are.
But instead, he had some other guy like pro personnel guy show up in his stead.
And I thought honestly that the Boston, Massachusetts media were kind of like the New York media, the Philadelphia media.
We pride ourselves at the men and women that cover sports in New York, Philadelphia and Boston.
Are among the best investigative reporters and beat reporters across the board.
Yep.
And the reason they have such a great reputation.
And the reason these three very specific Northeast cities, Philadelphia, New York and Boston have a reputation for being a hard place to play.
For guys that might come here with free agents or via trade is because the media does their job very well.
They suffer no fools.
There are no, what's the word I'm looking for are sacred cows, right?
That's right. That's right.
Like if you play like crap, we call you on it.
Not just the fan bases on sports talk radio or the guys that booed games, but the media.
The media.
So I was expecting the assemble during the Patriot media to show up at this press conference and start,
you know, firing question after question for whoever showed up to the ring of Patriot press conference.
And I'm watching it yesterday just after two o'clock.
And much to my surprise, nothing like zero.
There was only one question asked in the better part of half an hour that had the name Mike Vrable in it.
And the question was kind of an occupancy.
So is Mike Vrable still involved?
Like the last week or so with things I'll get like you heard.
This is the only question asked of the New England Patriot front office for their draft press conference.
And Mike Vrable's name was not mentioned another time.
So she's got a point.
If that happened in New York, you know, whoever they threw out there for a pre-draft press conference was not going to get away with a half party.
So he's got to get away with a half question about how's Mike Vrable's involvement with the draft going.
You know, so he's got a point on that one.
Meanwhile, get a load of this.
Diana Roosini, Murray, why don't you just just brought to my attention.
Yeah, just just posted on page six of the New York Post.
They write that local news site patch, New Jersey patch reported around 5 p.m. Wednesday,
not a civic turned on to a street in a suburban Wicoff, New Jersey collided with a Jeep flipping the four by four on its side.
According to the report, a 73 year old driver, the Jeep and his dog were stuck inside.
Enter Diana Roosini, who just the day before had quit the times amid an internal investigation into photographs published by page six,
appeared to show her holding hands with Mike Vrable had coached the Patriots.
And eyewitness tells us that Diana Roosini was driving along the same road as that Jeep.
The accident happened right in front of her car.
Quote she ran out and had a tall man put her on top of the Jeep to open the door and she and the other guy pulled the driver in his dog out of the Jeep.
Police arrived soon after it's a stunning turn of events in an already tumultuous week in the Vrable Roosini debacle to put it another way.
Diana Roosini saved someone's life before the head coach of the Patriots has yet to speak about this story.
It's like zero to hero like.
This girl is just as trouble find her or does she find trouble?
She lives an exciting life.
Yes, Mike.
She must drink to seckeys.
What?
Seriously?
Holy smokes.
I mean, my life is so boring.
Oh, gosh, I haven't had anything remotely like that happen.
Either one.
My gosh, seriously.

And if you experience a property disaster this spring,
visit gobluesky.com.
No, E. Go B-L-U-S-K-Y.
Hit it, Jimmy.
Let's go.
Let's do this.
First up on the board is Matt New Bedford.
Go ahead, Matt.
Let me start this off by saying, Mike,
I completely agree with you that we should build a better team
and not have a better goalie.
And also, I don't want them to tank and I don't want them to suck.
However, you, if you want them to not tank and not suck,
but you also don't want them,
you also don't want a great goalie.
I don't understand how you're going to get to where you're going to go.
Because that, I think the Florida Panthers getting Matt you could truck,
they needed another number one overall pick, Jonathan Juberdow,
to trade.
And the Bruins don't have that.
Possible rock and McIvoy aren't good enough.
So if we are going to go this direction,
then swimming is going to have to come up big for us.
Okay.
I don't like it.
I mean, I agree with that.
I think it's going to be great.
Well, I agree.
Ask him a big for you because Buffalo's better.
One of the few places you're better than Buffalo was in net.
And you're, and you're paying him twice as much as the other guy because of it.
Do you think Pastronack and McIvoy aren't good enough to make a big deal like that?
Meaning he said that to, uh, together.
Oh, no, they could have been the Jonathan Huberdow.
Exactly.
equivalent for sure they could.
Yeah, it didn't happen to be a number one overall pick.
It just had to be a guy who developed.
You make a good point.
Yes.
Pastronack and get your plenty.
You could get a good haul for him.
The equivalent of Matthew Kitchock.
Yeah.
So like that part of it, I disagree with.
You know, I mean, that that's it was just a shrewd hockey move.
Yeah.
Which they've made some good mid-level shrewd hockey moves.
Like trading Carlo for these draft picks or Charlie Coil in that trade or picking up this, um,
uh, Arvitson.
Arvitson.
You know, like good little, those are good shrewd little moves.
No, no.
I mean, you, you want to do the Florida thing then you have to trade one of your big guys for another big guy and give something to get something and change the mix on your team.
And if you want to do that thing, Pastronack is good enough for your right, man.
That takes balls.
Let your run brought to my blue sky restoration contractors.
Reba in Rhode Island.
Go ahead, Reba.
Okay, guys, thanks for taking my call.
So, um, this is in reference to Princess Diana Rossini and her night in shining armor, Mike Ravel.
Um, Collin, your husband, personal Collin, your husband, I'm national TV average.
Really kind of makes you way below average, but these pictures.
I have no respect for either of them regardless of whether something happened.
So they should be, you know, you'll think your husband's average.
You both suck.
Okay.
They're getting what they deserve is what I think.
I don't think anyone's being treated unfairly.
You get you want to run around like that?
People are right to call you out.
Simple as that.
Um, what was I just going to say?
Oh, the stuff with her calling her husband average.
If it wasn't for this, I have no problem with it.
She was ball busting.
Well, that's what I think too.
Yeah.
Ball busting.
So she's like teasing her husband.
That's fine.
Like it's clever.
Like I thought her stuff.
I thought those interviews were funny.
Where she was sort of teasing at her and poking at her husband.
That's kind of cool.
No problem with that.
Time and again.
It's just, well, there's a different context there now when you're.
Well, right to meddling with the NFL head coach.
Right.
But the problem is not, you know, if they get along well and she's busting his chops, there's no issue.
I've said this all the time.
Like I think I would love to do a show with my wife Sarah.
Morning, what?
I've told you this.
Good morning, show we call it morning wood.
And I would be able to, it would only be good if she busted my balls.
You know, of course, if she like gave it to me, like I think that'd be a entertaining product.
After me just blabbing all week, have my wife come on the air and be like,
shut up.
You're not that.
You're not this like that.
Be good.
She's not, she couldn't do it.
She couldn't do it.
She could not tease me publicly.
She couldn't.
She just doesn't have it in her.
And so when I hear this Rossini stuff, I'm like, this is actually good stuff.
This is fun.
But then again, when you're banging allegedly the NFL head coach on page six in the New York Post, it's not as fun.
Well, no, I mean, it comes off as funny as long as the relationship is good.
If the relationship is not good, all of a sudden it comes off as cruel.
That's right.
How about Colin and Boston on the Lightning round brought to you by Blue Sky Restoration Contractors?
Hey, thanks for taking my call.
I don't understand Patriots fans who don't think that this Rossini migrable story is a big deal.
You know, if I'm interested how this affects their draft process, if they go out and they have a terrible draft,
this is the story I'm going to look back to.
If they start off one in three, this is the story I'm going to look back to.
If there is a sniff of locker room culture going sideways, this is what I'm going to look back to.
You know, so I just don't understand how you could not be interested.
Oh, people are interested, Colin.
I think some fans just don't care if their coach is running around, which I get.
I get that second part of it.
But it always says it's not a big deal.
Just, I mean, I've told you, we get, you know, we know what's being clicked on and what's being listened to and like.
Mike Florey has been on this for a week.
Why do you think he's on this for a week?
He gets all digital. He gets all the data in real time.
He knows what is being consumed.
And this story is being consumed.
That's why it's a big deal.
I think people are saying that it's not because they just wanted to go away,
because this is a super bowl team with a guy who is the head coach of the year.
The Patriots are now back and this could potentially derail them going forward.
That's cool.
Yes, it's a threat.
Yes.
It's a perceived threat.
I honestly think all the internal stuff is going to shake itself out.
As I said, he's fine.
He's not losing his job, nor should he.
He's not going to lose his team.
He's too good at that stuff.
I'm sure some players are going to look at him sideways.
Some, there's a hundred guys down there.
So he's not going to have the entire room.
No coach has the entire room.
There's too many different guys with different agendas coming from different places.
But on balance, I think he'll be fine with his players because he's good with his players.
Always has been.
So like, I'm not, I wouldn't worry about that part of it.
If you, you know, how he's perceived publicly, I think he's going to be a tricky thing for him.
Holly raised this last night.
It's kind of a, you know, I don't know if I fully believe it, but it's fair to question.
And again, this isn't directly accusing him of anything.
But here, we're talking about someone else.
Cheating on your wife, like takes time and effort, I think.
Sure.
You've got to have another phone.
You've got to have cover stories.
You've got to have fall guys.
You've got to have, you got to be organized.
It's going to be alibis.
Alibis, you have to have the Morgan eyes.
You can't get caught lying.
You can't get caught.
You're going to cover your track on your phone.
You can't get caught doing this.
So like, right.
That I must imagine takes time and effort.
And right.
It's got to.
So like the Super Bowl.
She was there.
He was there.
I mean, the whole NFL world was there for a week.
If I should say, for example, he's running around that week.
Is he taking time out of something else to make sure he's covering his tracks on that thing?
You know what I mean?
Good question.
Like, it's not an unfair thing to bring up.
This is what you open yourself up to.
We asked the same kind of thing about Steph Diggs that week, because he had...
Bingo, you'd ask it about a player.
Why wouldn't you ask it about a coach?
Two girlfriends there, whatever the hell it was he was dealing with.
I mean, is that unfair?
No, no, not at all.
In fact, I mean, there were head coaches who have their girlfriends stay in the team hotel the night before a game.
And we talk about that.
Correct.
That they've...
Super Bowl's that they lost.
I mean, we talk about coaches taking the next job before the Super Bowl, like Bill Parcells.
Uh-huh.
And was he 1000% or was he...
Was he, you know, setting up his next staff that week and didn't give you everything?
And if a coach is trying to manage different things in his life,
does that take away from...
Remember Bella Check at the Stupid Timber Wolves game?
The week of that Super Bowl that they ended up losing to Nick Fulz and the Eagles?
It's just a question that you get to ask when you see those things.
Yeah, this is what he's lost.
Because up until now, he was like bulletproof.
You couldn't touch him as he was part of his first year,
when just about perfectly, and now that's all gone.
Take a rare break in the middle of the light and you're around picking it up
in a long commercial free segment next.
You know the place, everything can turn in a moment in Augusta.

Felgis.
Mass.
I got a Mass.
The sports hub.
I just wanted to check back in with you on James Higgins,
and obviously the path that he took signs the ATO goes to Providence.
How do you feel like the path that he took to get here benefited him?
Well, I think the first and foremost, the experience.
Graduated steps.
I think it's important.
I think he sent a message to other players that have taken that in Charlie.
And I thought it permeated him in a manner.
Our guys noticed it right away.
Our guys made a point of saying they thought it was great that he decided to go start there,
rather than just assume that he was going to jump into a lineup and help us get into the playoffs.
Then you start to realize, like, you know, the skill set and the attention that he was,
he was giving to valuing playing away from the puck, the things that are, again,
our development staff and the coaches down there and the messaging that was coming back,
that he was listening, he was applying.
And then the skill set, you know, we're all excited about.
So now it's a great opportunity, not unlike Charlie a bunch of years ago,
that he is now an option for Marco if, when, and where he wants to play him.
And I think that's how we had hoped it would play out.
But it's always up to the player to take advantage of the opportunity.
So he's very, he's kind of subtly patting himself on the back, but I agree with it.
So I'll tell you what, he said something there that I think if it was really part of his decision,
then they did the right thing.
And that is the respect of his teammates.
So if, if a guy says I'm coming to, I'm coming to the pros right out of the gate,
because that's the way it's done, then I'm coming to the pros.
You can go after yourself.
Then the guys and the team, some of them, anywhere, will start to look at him and say,
wait a minute, I did my time in Providence.
That guy over there did hit his time in Providence.
He's got 400 goals.
I finished third in the Norris or whatever.
Okay, I mean, I'm just talking about Mac, a boy in Pasternak in particular.
But veteran guys who believe in sort of, if you want to get credibility in the locker room,
don't skip the minors.
You know, don't, don't big time it right out of the gate.
That will piss veteran players off.
So that's a good point.
And I do think that they drilled into him a certain something there,
which is if you really want to play in these games, you have to forecheck.
You have to play along the wall.
You have to go into the corner.
You have to come back low.
You have to cover your guy.
We just are not going to have you out there floating around.
We can't, it's the playoffs.
We can't have that.
So we're going to, sure, impress that upon you in Providence.
If you pick it up and show us you're willing to do that, then you come up.
I think that was the right thing.
And like I know people have watched in these last couple of games and say,
he's good enough.
He should have been up.
Well, maybe he wouldn't have been if he just felt he could waltz right into the lineup.
And I was just trying to draw the parallel with Sagan.
Sagan never went to Providence, did he?
Kevin, I just sort of remember him coming on and playing in those playoffs,
kind of out of nowhere.
He must have.
I don't think so.
He never played Providence.
Wow, he never did.
And he only, I want to say he like he debuted at that in those playoffs almost.
Like those were almost his first games, but they couldn't have been.
He played only 11 games in 2010, 2011.
What happened to him?
I can't remember.
He played the whole regular season.
And then he got benched to start the playoffs.
And then Bergeron got a concussion against Philly.
He please started in the Eastern Conference final.
He did.
How come hold on?
I just looked this up.
He played the whole regular season.
So he made the team out of camp.
Oh, I'm sorry.
I was looking at the wrong column.
This is my fault.
Sorry.
GP is games.
Jesus.
I know.
I know I was looking at the wrong column.
My fault.
He did play.
So I guess he did play that season.
But wasn't much of an impact.
He had 11 goals on the year.
I just remember a game two against Tampa where he just whoosh was like shot out of it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Right.
And everyone was like, see you should.
Well, anyway, Sagan didn't play in the in Providence.
So mate, like I sort of look at Sagan as the young draft pick that I hate.
All the talent in the world, but thinks he's Joe hockey.
Does none of the little things.
And at the end of the day, we's going to have some highlights on your phone.
But no hockey IQ.
No little thing.
You know what I mean?
Like, I did not.
I did not.
And I still do not consider Tyler Sagan a winning hockey player.
I wonder if they regret the way they did it with him.
Maybe.
Like, maybe that's part of the reason they're so firm on it now.
But anyway, I think they manage Hagen's properly.
At the end of the day, I do.
Let's just finish up the light around.
Give him a little bit more love.
Blue sky restoration contractors visit.
Go blue sky.
No ego blue sky dot com.
Let's grab sit in Brooklyn.
Go ahead.
Said.
Now you show brewing point and Eastern conference point.
So Sabers is a better team offensively relentless.
I think brewing can do it in seven, but needs women magic.
But on Eastern conference, I know you were talking about sabers versus hurricanes.
By next week, you may need to put the Carolina Hurricanes on magic.
So in teams dominate regular season and disappear in playoffs.
I think otherwise pesky and not only that, it has a better path to finals
because they will go through Metro of inner of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
Okay.
So Carolina does need to their perennial disappointment.
I mean, they've been a really good team.
I could you can make the case that they're the best team in the Eastern conference this year.
But if they crap their pants and then we're going to be surprised.
They have their one cup 21 years ago.
Right.
Yeah.
Oh, six or whatever.
Yeah.
Something like this iteration that is these guys have been.
Yeah.
They're always there.
They're always good.
They're always in first place.
They're always.
And they don't go anywhere.
And they haven't even made a final, right?
They make a conference final.
I know.
I mean, I'll look it up quickly.
But no, they've fallen on their faces every single time.
They're one in 12 in the conference finals.
Jesus.
Derek.
Derek.
Derek.
Hi.
Hi, go ahead.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
So, um, I don't know.
I guess the surprise of Patriot media isn't touching the true scene thing with the 10th football.
You know, they bet.
Della check.
Amasculate them for 20 years and just take it in.
You know, I'm curious how Drake may feel about this.
You know, he's kind of a North Carolina quiet boy.
Now he to his high school sweetheart.
You know, how do you feel about his head coach, committee, adult?
He is, you know, a reporter, you know, I wonder about it.
I think the Patriots media when it comes to the football stuff is by far the best in town in terms of second guessing, challenging, asking questions.
Um, I think they asked strategy questions.
I think they ask questions about things that went wrong.
More than any other media contingent in town.
No question about it.
When it comes to this thing, they have been mute.
Uh, so it's fair to second guess them on that.
Uh, here's, uh, well, and, but I, I'll tell you again, my big second guess is that it's the outlets that aren't covering it.
And what the outlets should do is protect the beat guys.
You don't have to ask it.
We're going to send down our a hole.
We're going to send down someone from a different department or the Shawna C figure or the whatever, the figure figure.
He didn't, he didn't have to face them every day.
He'll go ask, but, you know, as a newspaper as an outlet, we have to cover that we want to cover the story because it's getting a lot of eyeballs and a lot of listeners and a lot of clicks.
So we got to cover this.
So we're going to send someone down to do it.
You don't have to do it.
That's my big second guess.
That's a good second guess because it does.
That's exactly how you're supposed to covering.
Oh, uh, Peter and Manhattan.
Go ahead, Peter.
Yes.
You guys are talking a lot about PIs that you just stand for passing a appearance on this show.
I mean, you've become a bit of a gossip show.
It's fun, isn't it?
It's so fun.
I love it.
Well, I'll tell you that he won't face any punishment because there are millions of married women around the way when they get aroused seeing them on the sidelines.
I think at any punishment, I know if you're gonna be honest, honest.
I think if anything, you know, I'm curious.
I think if any punishment low is going to be hopefully your serious, you won't get punished because there's millions of women around New England getting aroused watching him on the sidelines so he won't get punished.
No, no, nobody from his wife I like to get this another.
Lombadi. Yeah, Lombadi. So he said, I guess he's saying that the women and all the women
in the wing and think, for Abel's heart. I guess I get why I've heard. I don't know.
We've had a few women callers that have kind of been pissed off at Abel this week. I
would beg to differ with him. I think people are pissed. Some people aren't. Some, some,
some. Yes. That's fair. Some are people. Some are pissed. Some don't care that he runs
around. But most everyone's engaging in the story. But I guess I'm talking more about
the female crowd. The people who have defended, labeled this week on the air at least have
been mostly the guys. Yeah. Cause all they care about is the football team. That's all
they care about. So yeah, why are you talking about this? It's not a story. And those dumb
asses think it's probably kind of cool that he's banging the sideline reporter. Of course,
you know what I mean? Yes. Allegedly. Yes. Don't give him a high five. Look, if Gaspar
