This system that we love. Is broken. I know that dude. Not complied. I hate mother. Welcome to another two hours of common sense. That liberty and justice for all is a myth.
And theoretic behavior. You want to, but you can't. And when you do, you wish you didn't. This is your daily mojo. Man, it is true. LA is not a good place to be a traffic reporter. Nope. Not today. And not just on TV. No, it's happened several times. And why don't we ever hear about these stories from like New York? I mean, have any, have any traffic helicopters ever gone down in New York? Yes. Donna Fadoosh used to fly in one, give the weather report. But another chopper went down while she was flying. And about two days later, she said, I'm done. I flew for like, don't blame her for years. Yeah. That was that. That's probably late 90s. I'm thinking it was before Fox for her. Before we go, a modern day, let's go quickly back in time to 1977.
As much we can say about Frank Powers. He was as Jim Brown indicated an unlikely man we've had to deal with notoriety. He was quiet and self-effacing, but he dealt with his notoriety and a straightforward, straightforward, thoroughly honest way. To some Francis Gary Powers was a hero, and not to himself. To others, he was less than a hero. There were critics who questioned the information he'd given the Soviet secret police during marathon questioning. Frank never apologized for that. He insisted he had told them little more than they already knew. And the one thing they did not know or were not correct about was the altitude at which the U2 was flying when it was shot down. He never revealed that to the Soviets. And as far as we know, it remains classified. It is small comfort to us, even less for his family, his wife's soup, his daughter D, his son Gary to know that... Francis Gary Powers. Well, I know that feeling. Died doing what he liked to do. Come on, that's a cliche. That's small comfort for us.
We have no less grief for George Spears, the Engineer cameraman. Frank was our friend. Damn it. He was the public figure. But what about George Spears? He was 43 years old. Most of his life had been spent in Chicago. He and his wife and his three teenage children moved to North Ridge when George came to work for NBC just a year ago. Francis Gary Powers and George Spears died instantly. And they crashed in the new Center for Telecopter at 1230 this afternoon. Well, I know how tough that is to do. Well, personal experience. Now, we went back in time to prepare you for... And by the way, Francis Gary Powers, Frank Powers, they called him... He piloted the U2. Yeah, he got shot down. And he been shot down in the U2. I mean, how sucky is that? You make it all the way through the war. You're flying this bad ass by plane.
You get shot down. Yeah, being captured by the road. And you come home. Yeah. And you go home and it's a traffic helicopter. I mean, yeah. It just goes to prove that when your E-ticket is punched, your E-ticket is... Punch doesn't matter where you are or what you are doing. And sadly, it happened again. This was yesterday evening. Yeah. Over... Again, it's Channel 4. What is it with Channel 4? So, this is the... Listen, you can hear the engines giving out. Oh, can you pull up? That's so bizarre. Yeah. It doesn't... And obviously, they were going fast enough, but it doesn't look like they're going fast enough to...
It looks like you go boom. Oh, ow, that hurt. Yeah. You know, it's... That's thinking about that on the plane the other day when we were landing. And I realized, you know, even when you... Even when those landing gear touches the ground, you're still doing what? 300-200 miles an hour? And if you were landing the same... One of the great things, you think, oh yeah. And you think, oh, I'm... Well, on the ground, I'm safe. No, you're really not. Because you're still traveling. Well, he didn't have time to even do a lot of rotation, which was... And it looked like he landed on the building, so... But he said, I'm saying it. Just didn't seem... Watch that whole thing again, because it... And obviously, again, it was fast enough to do harm, but it just... Uh-oh. Uh-oh, she said. What is that horn? The stall horn. Oh, so that's the helicopter. That helicopter just gave out. What would it do? You can pull it up.
So right about there, you start getting scared. And you only get scared for a second. Hopefully. So that's the helicopter with the horn. Yes. It sits where, because it did the bump, bump, bump. Can you pull you cap, pull up? Yeah, he... I'm not going to say there are stupid questions, but, you know... He didn't have time for all the rotation. He didn't have time for all the rotation. What the hell's an all the rotation? Uh, no power landing, or a minimum power landing... In a helicopter, he just didn't have anywhere to go. So was it the main rotor given out there? Yes. Yes. So it's weird how come they're not spinning around and around. Because the tail rotor was working. The tail rotor keeps them from spinning. Hey, it's just... And people in the comments, that's scary.
I can't imagine their fear. They didn't have fear long. You don't want to believe... Well... Can you pull you cap, pull up? Generally, if you know you're getting it in an accident, I mean, just in your car for instance. You know it's coming. You generally... Can we see her photo? You're not scared. Can we what? See the photos? I think they're the next thing in the rest of the... Well, we could if my, uh, if anything was working here... Can we have a look? I mean, work on that while I... Okay. Juggle. Yeah, I mean, you... Quite honestly, they're... You know, they were flying low as it was, covering that bus crash. There's the camera up front. But it's a horse of a camera, too. Yeah. Yeah. And I think she controls the camera and gives the news as opposed to...
I'm trying to do all of it. She had just gotten in... She had just gotten engaged, too. Oh, no way. And... Yeah, weird though. I mean, so the pilot or the reporter videographer in the... Gary Powers helicopter, he had just moved to Northridge. And it was a new chopper. I think it's what they said. What I already say. I looked like a new chopper, too. Yeah. It's a new chopper. But... And then we had... Another traffic reporter out in LA, his name was Bruce Wayne. He worked for KFI. And his plane went down just after takeoff mid-80s. That's three traffic reporters. That's... And you're right. She is hot. So there's that picture. And I just sucks. It just sucks.
And we don't know exactly what happened. I'd be obviously the helicopter didn't work. And... But they'll do some sort of reconstruction and figure out why the hell the... The damn thing didn't work. Do they buy these NBC helicopters? Are new question marks? They buy them on the... Oh, and here is... I remember Colleen, hang on a cell, put it over there. Colleen Williams is an anchor out at KNBC. And she was much like Jess Marlow. And the chopper that went down in chessworth tonight, about two hours ago was, in fact, it is chopper four. I guess that's all we get.
Wow. Well, that's the reason right there. Even if you're not going real fast and that avgas... Oh, look at... Look at that fire. I didn't even realize that. Look at the... Yeah, those are containers. Yeah. But look at the dudes down there, the firefighters. Look how... Yeah. That's just horrible. Let's get this going. Let's get this going. There we go. We're going to take a couple of minutes to think about that, to process and to regroup. But in the meantime, if anything should happen, if there is a news conference, if there is anything, we will break into program and bring it to you. Bugs of the crash remains unknown. NTSB and FAA are investigating. And well, at least the FBI isn't on the scene to steal the investigation away from the NTSB, like they did on TWA flight 800.
You hear that story? No, I know. Oh, yeah. The FBI is just the NTSB even let them. NTSB doesn't have as much juice as the FBI. They're not quite as juiced as the FBI are. Hang on a second. Just to see, you know, this is what calling Williams looked like back in the day. I mean, I remember her... Gosh. Surely she couldn't have been there in the 80s, must have been the 90s. She's been on the air a long time, which is kind of strange that a TV station keep you around that long, because generally when the dead men, if you're a man or a woman, the look start fading. So you know what? We're going in a different direction and you're out the door. I don't know what channels he's on, but here in Dallas, we have Clarice Tinsley, who's been here for like 40 years. Clarice Tinsley? Clarice Tinsley. I can't believe these guys are devolving into a discussion about news anchors.
Yep, that's what we do. Look, it sucks that we've dealt with enough death around here that Clarice Tinsley. Yeah. It looks pretty good. Yeah, it's not a good place to be a traffic reporter. Ironically, I don't think we've talked about this since I got back as it happened as we just after we left. You know, the will of fortune. Announce her. Yes. You're important to see. He got he got. Can I tell you what with him? He's new traffic. He is to do traffic for me on when I did mornings out there at KGL. And look, all traffic reporters are a little weird. That's just a known fact that make the rules. But did you see the screenshots of his screen? Yeah, while he was texting on what was the app? It was it was an app.
It was a website and it was a life fitness lifetime life something. And he had the chat room open. Not only do you have the chat room open and they it appeared that they were talking about a kitty porn. Yeah, it appeared that they were. I don't know if they were. He was talking about the fact that he doesn't care that the screen's open. Well, and because somebody in them chat said you're on an airplane or something. It's it's it's it's weird to think that you know, I'm sitting 10,000 feet in the air or whatever it was. In this chat room and do goes you're in an airplane. What if somebody sees? Yeah, like somebody's going to see my screen just a big a bunch of text there. Surprise surprise. Not only did he have the screen open and people could see it. And I get the the thought that well, it just looks like a bunch of. A bunch of words. A people are nosy people especially somebody who ever when you're wearing a wheel of fortune jacket.
Yeah, yeah. And you're sitting on the aisle. Somebody recognized that screen apparently. No, they recognize the fact that you had a wheel of fortune jacket on their life. I think that will look what's I wonder what he's doing. But apparently that is a sort of fine youngsters. Apparently that's a chap. No, it was it was a it was a they were all talking about. What they called it CP in there. And there were no pictures. Nothing like that. I never specifically said it and what one of the things I read the screen. Anyway, it's like. I can't believe you know what they're going to try to take away one of the last things that we. Find enjoyable or something to that effect. And never it never said. It never said child pointed it's but it did say CP. Yeah. There's a whole lot of bad decisions and disturbing behavior. And he had somebody pointed out that one of his icons at the bottom was a tour browser.
Oh, yeah, he was on the tour browser. Yeah, that's he was in the he was in the chat on the tour browser, which you use. If you want to cruise the dark web. I've done it at the pain in the ass. But and to think that if you think using the tour browser makes you invisible, it doesn't. Because if you can get on there, so can the FBI. And it also appeared that he was the moderator or a moderator in that chat room. Yeah, how much he was making? No. Four and a quarter large. What? Yep, but he's been he's been the announcer since 2011. Yeah. 15 years. So I hope you saved money. Want that mommy? What the hell are Brad and Ron talking about? You know, if you had gotten here on time paid attention, you would know. I didn't the back of the class. And send money. Use the hashtag what I learned today.
On the social media is over in the rumble chat room, Tiger Tain Forces after dock every time the show doesn't happen. I worry. Me too. People don't know. Tor is a CIA back door. Into your PC. Mind your zone. Is it? That doesn't surprise me. And the thing who is doing the things bar just talking about Jim Thornton, who was the head of the governor's office. I was not a local. Was the announcer for a wheel of fortune and he had been so since 2011 he started out as a traffic reporter out on for metro traffic out in LA. And nice guy. I got along. But. I'm not sure if I can be a back to the helicopter. It just. It sucks. I don't know what else to say that it's to you know to two two lives lost in two families
who will never be the same again. Other things happening around the country. The we got our own drama going on here in Dallas. Good grief. You would think. And kudos to. I think kudos. To governor hot wheels. Our flock cameras. They were supposed to be turned off yesterday. Guess what wasn't turned off yesterday. Oh, how come it'd be the flock cameras. There are well the. According to the Dallas news. The there are six hundred and ninety of these things. We got a three year five point seven million dollar contract approved with flock back in May of last year. And well, but they're see here's the thing they're they're clustered in high crime corridors. So what do you what do you bitching about?
You have something to hide but you worried about. They're downtown. They're the seaters are South Dallas old East Dallas. Where the hell is old East Dallas. I guess I would have some old West Dallas. Yeah. Police credit the network with helping solve 12 homicide so far in 2026. Well, if that's all the cameras are doing them. Why do we not like them so much if that's all they're doing is sitting there. Helping police solve crimes 14% of the cases. What they really want to sell these things. Don't they 49 since 2023 plus they've helped find stone cars. Helps solve robberies missing person recoveries. They've run hundreds of thousands of searches. What's wrong with you? Why do you hate these cameras so much? The current mess started when a government app paused the state agency funding for flock late last month over privacy and fourth amendment concerns. Now, if you don't if you've done nothing wrong, you what do you have to hide?
But you so concerned about. They're just cameras looking at you. You get your panties in a lot for. And of course, we've got the. Typical misuse of them like cops looking up. Licensed plates for well, she's hot. What's your license? I was getting a name. That happens. And then there was one case of tracking a woman suspected of. Having an abortion. That was they pulled the plug. That was a cop doing that doing that. Running the other year. Theoretically they're the only ones that have access theoretically. And cops have never done bad stuff. But he know yeah, he was doing it for personal reasons, I think. I am not completely familiar with that case. Do you know? No, only superficially, but there was a story. About them having him having tracked her across the country.
Well, he did some 80,000 searches. To find out where she was or. She better be hot. Yeah. Um, it was Johnson County. Yes. You share off of Sheriff's office there. Happened in May 25. Yeah. I don't know wonder he's a man done. Ran that's in our woods. That was a nationwide search. Yeah. Called deputies said his girlfriend had self managed an abortion. Uh, he handed over what he believed were. A fetal remains. Well, the FedEx envelope. The pills came in and the instructors she tried to take the abortion pill. Deputies treated it as a death investigation of a non viable fetus photograph. The scene asked the DA whether they could charge her. The DA said nope. Texas law did not allow for charging her for taking the pill. This is according to snopes for what it's worth. Yeah.
Uh, deputy still ran the plate through flock. The search reason logged in the system was blunt. Had an abortion search for female. Apparently you have to put the reason you're doing whatever search you're doing in the flock. Amherst software. It hits 60, uh, 6,809 agency networks. Good grief. How many cameras? 83,000 cameras. That's where you get the 83,000, uh, including cameras in states where abortion is legal. Yeah. Systems showed her vehicle had been in Dallas. They later interviewed her and released her text. The case stayed open for weeks. No charges were filed. Yeah. And that again, that happened in Johnson County, which if you are any familiar with the at all with the local news, Johnson County's got a problem in the sheriff's department as it is. The, the sheriff himself is the problem king. Yep. Why do you hate him so much? Uh, she's sheriff's supposed to be our last line of defense for we the people.
Yeah, because they were supposed to be there. They're the only elected law enforcement. I can't try. Ain't nobody you can trust no more. Um, and this guy, they tried to say it was a welfare check. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But just as a side, this guy is accused of assaulting women. And they let him go back. Yeah, let him go back to work. Is a sheriff. Um, the family was worried that she was bleeding out and they needed to find her. That's how he framed the search. But I don't know that that's the case. No, it's of course it's not. Well, later, uh, after Davidson reports undercut the clean version of the story, the reporting partners account was messy enough to deputies who ran the search later wrote that he was also worried the man might have heard her. Well, this is the problem he's trying to cover. Yes. Yeah. Yes. That's the problem with these cameras. If we lived in the Star Trek universe, we'd be okay because everybody has good intentions
except for the clings on to the board. But we don't and we never will. And therefore, uh, I believe the actually the, uh, the correct accreditation for the quote, uh, he who would give up liberty for safety has neither. Is that Franklin? Um, I don't know. What do you know Benjamin Franklin? Who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety? There you go. That's smart. You know, for a womanizer, he was okay. They'd try to cancel Ben's ass today. Ah, he was out with another woman. He did. He loved the women. It was at whiskey. What was his, uh, vice alcohol of women in women in whiskey? Those are two. Yeah. Those are two.
Women do qualify as a vice. That is absolutely true. And thank you, John, clat. You doesn't have to call me Johnson. That's at the whole time I was thinking when we're John Johnson, kind of which I thought was rather ironic that it was Johnson County that we're having a problem with. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Um, you feel like you need to wash up after all that? Uh, sugarcrete goods, a place to do it. Uh, smell my mojo. I, I realize, man, I should shower more often. And I walked out of the, uh, I guess I just, I walked out of it and one of the, uh, one of the guests here at the motel said, you smell good. My, uh, I've sued them now and I, because that's just not appropriate for somebody to tell you, you smell good. And then, hey, great games. Don't you love the brods, the broads, the dams, the dams with great games, whatever happened to those days? Why can't we refer to them as broads with great games? Uh, hey, nice games there, Alice. But no, you can't even tell somebody they smell good.
Now, you can if you're a rule breaker, go to smellmymojo.com. You can find the, uh, the smell of a revel, Ben Franklin himself may have showered with this bar of soap. Back in 1776. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It is possible and it is well documented that he loved the Bergamot. He loved the Bergamot. Yeah, he did. Yeah, he did. He enjoyed it. He enjoyed a good spice clove on occasion. You want to, uh, if you want to support a small business in sugarcreek goods, a female owned by, see another, that goes a woman out there trying to make us all smell good. See what they're all trying to do. You just can't get away from it. Can you go to smellmymojo.com and use the promo code daily mojo for a 15% off at smellmymojo.com Hi, this is Dave Roberts. The Daily Mojo. There's Bruce. That was a 1986 Bruce Wayne's grave there at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. And Dean of America's traffic reporters. Bruce Wayne, great name, right? Yeah. Got a lot of Bruce Wayne. So I didn't I didn't I'm not sure what exactly it was that got me thinking about it. I saw something on on Cuba. Or as my mom would say, Cuba. And I realized because we've questioned a number of times on this program.
Why can't you go to why can't you be a tourist in Cuba? And remember when Obama is just going to make a total sense now when you remember when Obama opened it up. He's like, yeah, you got to. You want to keep your own doctor? Keep your own doctor. Save money. Go to Cuba. And then Trump came in and got that shit off with the knees. It was also Jimmy Carter who had opened it up and then Ronald Reagan who shut it back down. Like all this time, we're like, why can't we and you can go to Cuba as part of a research group or to visit family or to support the Cuban people? You just can't go there as a tourist verboten. And then this story pops up from last month, month before headline US Supreme Court opens the courthouse door to lawsuits tied to Cuba's property seizures six decades after the fact. I don't know why we didn't think of this before.
Follow the money. The Cuban revolution back in 59 when Fidel and his crew came to power. Prior to that, there had been all, there had been several, a number of American corporations in Cuba doing business. Exxon. Mobile. They were standard oil back then. They had refineries down there. A number of them. And when Fidel Castro comes into power, again, his administration basically seized all foreign assets and nationalized them. Become suddenly the, believe the name was Copa Racion, Stimex. That was the Cuban company that took over standard oils, assets down in Cuba. And they've been under Cuban control now for what, six, six decades. Yes, six.
And, yep. And so the reason we can't go to Cuba is because they don't want, because it would be a giant tourist attraction, just like Dominican, just like any of the other Caribbean islands. The Virgin Islands. I mean, that's a big tourism, big money and cruise ships, big money. And so it's because these people with money, with the corporations here and people here in the United States of America, they're still pissed off and rightly so. I mean, their assets were taken by the Cuban government back in 59 in 1960. And they've never been made whole. And remember the golden rule? He with the gold makes the rules. And so they, all these years, have been like a hell no, we're not, we have anything to say about it. You're not going to get to go down and pump a bunch of money into Cuba. Nope, not happening. I mean, because we're talking tourism and cruise ships, billions of billions of dollars.
Yeah. How much does, I just love the fact that they can't import cars there. Right. And that's part of it. They're still driving all the 1960s models. 50s. 50s, yeah. Make in tourism. That's a, this just as an example, the Dominican Republic, 11, wow, 11.8, seven, so 12 billion dollars a year, ish. I think Cuba could, you know, they would like having the 12 billion dollars a year because they don't have any money in Cuba. They are broke. They have the Soviet, well, Russia back in them, probably some Chinese backing, but they certainly aren't making 12 billion dollars a year in tourist money. But once this goes to, once this actually goes to trial, you could see a whole lot of
money and a whole lot of these corporations in America regain their assets and or be compensated for them. It was, it's the Helms Burton Loophole. But the second two decisions regarding US property rights in Cuba that the court decided in this term that they were heard at all might be surprising because the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, that's a 1976 law, generally shields foreign governments and their entities from lawsuits in the US courts. Who knew? Remember countries have no permanent friends. They just have permanent interests. And this is one of them. So we'll see Supreme Court cases belatedly allowed to proceed due to the 1996 law, the Cuban Liberty and Democratic Solidarity Act. This is just more proof that there is so much happening behind the scenes that none of us ever hear about, that none of us ever know.
That's part of the deals that are made with Iran and Iraq and all of these other countries, Saudi Arabia. There's stuff going on behind the scenes we will never, ever know about. But are part of the deal that are part of, wow, I wonder how they got that done. Just good negotiating and some stuff behind the scenes that we'll never, ever know about. I know, Jody, which we had some of those cars. You're frozen. They're probably rusted out. We can't afford cameras here at the Daily Mojo since we're back by Cuba. Our Cuban money is running low. Right. It's a problem. But that's why we can't as tourists go to Cuba. It's probably, I mean, Cuba is going to look just basically like either the Dominican or any of those career, I'm just the same geography. So the only difference is going to be, it's going to look like it's stuck in the 1950s
because it is. And mystery solved. We should have been able to solve this a whole lot sooner because money, but it took that to actually get the issue solved. Something else that I saw that was surprising involving, I don't want to get into this right now. Because we have a guest coming up here shortly, right? In an hour. Oh, I thought sorry. Yes, putting it my bad, my bad, that's an hour. Well, you know, it's an hour. So I don't want to get ahead of myself here. And I know you remember we played the Wifiels theme and found out that it's actually just a piece of stock music that somebody had and then they put different lyrics to. Yeah. Yeah. And what I didn't tell you was the name of the dude, Martin Filary is the guy.
This is a fascinating story. The more I looked into it, which I don't know. This is from the independent from nine years ago. Headline reads three men jailed for turning a nuclear bunker into a two million, I get it pounds. Two million, two million, two million, two million, two million. So they were growing pot in an abandoned nuclear bunker. Look at all those plants. That's a lot of pot right there. And guess who one of those dudes was? Martin Filary. Martin. That is the dude that sings the Wifiels theme. He and I know right? No. He and two other dudes were busted in, I want to say it was, it was early of the 2017, I want to say it was 2013 or 2014. Yeah.
Yeah. So they leased this building and they used it as a storage facility. And I guess he had a business and he sold these model dollics. No, the dollic is right? Uh-oh. Wow. What do you do with your life? What are the bad guys in Dr. Who? Oh, okay. The dollics. All right. What's their famous line? I never seen it. X, starman 8, X, starman 8, even what? I've never seen Dr. Who. Wow. Well, it sucks in the past like 10 years, but prior to that, Matt Smith and or what's his name, David Tennant, probably the best doctor who's. Matt Smith, probably number one, David, it's a tough one. David Tennant made a damn good doctor who, but so did Matt Smith. And then it just went all woke. Then they got a woman and then, yep, Jody Whitaker. Yeah. I like her, but not as Doctor Who. And then now they're with the last one was a gay Doctor Who. Go figure.
Anyway, so this guy and two other dudes rented this nuclear storage bunker and used it for storage and then decided, hey, you know, it would really do well here is a bunch of pot plants. And so they did. And then they got caught and then they went to prison. And then he got out and he sang the lifeiles theme, which he's just a fan of the show and he put it together and I and AJ used it. AJ used it, which I would too. And if you go to this dude's Instagram. Yeah, it's interesting. I'll just leave it there. It's not safe for work. I'll tell you that much. But Martin Filare is his name and quite the storied history of the things you'll learn on this. Again, my brain is filled up with so many useless pieces of information.
It's almost frightening. I sure hope this is the right. I think we're catching the right train. Yes, we'll find out in a second. Well, wait. Get on top of your street. I'm trained. Hold it up. Feel that joy. Yeah. Hands up high. This is Phil Bell on the Daily Mojo with you. Morning update. It's tragic number season. Now for those of you who are not baseball fans, the tragic number means the number of losses that your team can get or wins that another team can get that would eliminate your bad baseball team from playoff contention. And the New York Mets recently reached their tragic number and they were eliminated from playoff contention. So of course, I managed to get into it with a few fellow Mets fans because it was just last week when the Mets pulled themselves out of last place and into next to last place.
I let them know that it was not something to celebrate being mediocre as opposed to completely awful and they debated me down and said, Oh my gosh, it's such an achievement. And that got me thinking it's really not such an achievement. And that kind of conversation is emblematic of where our country has been going over the last few decades. You see, the United States was founded on the idea that human beings can and will flourish if we are left alone and we are not subject to an overbearing tyrannical government. And we prove that theory right for centuries. Keep in mind, the United States went from being a shoestring republic located on the ocean of America. Sorry, sorry, sorry, Atlantic Ocean. I let one of my future plans slip there to being the dominant power in the entire world. We have accomplished things in a very short time in this country that civilization such
as ancient Rome never even dreamed of accomplishing in their centuries of existence. But in recent years, we've gotten away from that idea of human flourishing. We've been more focused on things like wokeness and race and so on rather than individual and family achievement and growth. It's even gotten to the point where people are afraid to have families because they're afraid of having to do what it takes to pay for these families. If we are not focused on greatness, if greatness is not imbued into us, then America will not thrive and survive no matter who is leading it. So while I focus a lot on politics as your DC correspondent and rightfully so, it's up to each and every one of us to lay the groundwork for America's continued success and the first thing is having a mindset of greatness.
If we do not have that mindset and if we do not encourage our fellow Americans to have that mindset, then America will continue to decline. While I give a lot of credit to people like President Trump who have done all they can to lift us out of that decline, the winning starts with each and every one of us and I hope that everyone in this audience will do what you can to help our fellow Americans see that greatness that America can be and know that it not only starts with us, but it's up to us to make it happen each and every day. So please leave a comment under the show. Let us know what you think and I also hope you'll download the Daily Mojo smartphone app and enable notifications. I think he tells you in the beginning. Give a listen to my friend here because he is awesome. The only black juror me speaking again. Yep. He's the dude. He's the holdout and the Lindsey Clancy trial. He was he going against the grain against the system and my brother is real. He may be my third favorite black man. Possibly. Now what I've been in the history, right? Of this country, up to the recent history, recent memory, have a juror's whole life. It's been plastered for the world to see just because he decided to go against the grain. When it's the last time in history, yeah, for jurors, you know, background. And how often they take a shit a day has been plastered all over the world. You know, see, it's kind of funny when you talk about racism in this country.
Racism is so much as like the bigotry. No, it's the shit that's going on right now. It's in the ZF-loving, you know, a black man who decided. That he wasn't going to just go along and get along. That he decided that he was going to take a moral stand and say, you know what, the real victims are these three kids. The real victims are these three kids and it's not Lindsey. Yes, two days to be passed between, you know, yes, she obviously did have a mental breakdown. Still doesn't mean she shouldn't be helping her with the transplant. And you can't say guilty of murder. Maybe guilty of manslaughter. He wanted to hold her accountable for those three lives. And because he didn't do that and because he wanted to support a narrative, you have one fucking juror that said, oh, I was so excited to get the papers. You're so excited. What about those three kids?
You're so excited to get Lindsey off. But Lindsey is going to be held accountable. That's why I took those exercise bands and I tied it around a bottle. Just to simulate what she did to three, three, three of those kids. You know, and for me to be exercised the way I am, but for me to constantly have to go through, you know, to screw me. It's unbearable. Mix me on a chump out. I'm glad I did it. You know, and I'm also glad that you racist liberals are being exposed for exactly who you are. Yeah. Same. Same.
Same. Same. Same. Hala. Hala. I love you. Michael P. Deserunville of Bridgewater, Massachusetts. He's a holdout. I don't know what his political leanings are. I mean, because he smokes and he's black. So he can't be conservative, right? He didn't vote for Biden. Maybe he did vote for Biden. I don't know. But you think about the pressure that he was under. You got 11 people. He gave a shit. He doesn't give a shit, but he was still under pressure, dude, for what three days, four days, if not more. But he, 11 people sitting around the table going, come on, dude, and a judge sending them back in there every time. But he stood his ground. That's what it is. That's what it is. That's what it is. He's supposed to do. They described him as arrogant, disengaged, scrolling his phone, unwilling to cite evidence,
and refusing to apply the judge's reasonable doubt instruction even after saying he had doubt. One said that he wrapped an exercise band, the same type used in the killings around a water bottle in the jury room, those interviews turned him into a public target. This is a pretty restoring USA today. NBC Boston reported his background without naming him at first. 2021 domestic violence charge. nephew called 911 claiming Deserunville grabbed his then wife by the throat to her into a dresser. Charges later dismissed. Then say whether or not she deserved it. An active restraining order from that same nephew over a later alleged assault and an eviction case for thousands in unpaid rent that was moving forward during deliberations. Once that landed, identification followed quickly by a court records photos and social media family members have said they are getting constant calls and notes left at their mother's house.
He is reportedly staying with relatives because he held out because he had a what? Contrary English lessons from him. What did I say? I don't know, but it wasn't the word you were looking for. Of course, then he didn't what were the two? I was going to correct him, but I didn't want to stop the flow. It was just funny. They were nearisms and I never do that. Two camps formed immediately. One sees one side sees a juror who would not let another or would not let a mother strangler who strangled her three children walk on an insanity defense and views the background reporting plus publicly naming him as a smear. Ron DeSantis offered him asylum in Florida. There's been a gifts and go. Really? How much was it? What can I do to get an open-ended question there for a second?
Well, and I'm willing to let it be open in. What can I do? What can I do? What can I do? I can do that the mate, somebody started me a gift and go. Let's see. Ron, what does his name was Ron? Ron, right? I think it was Ron. No, it's got a weird like. Michael, it looks like a Ron. No, doesn't he? Does he? He looks like a hoody. Oh, you, you, you, you, wow. You sure he doesn't look like a bluffish? Oh, that's why because his name, he's got Ron in his name, DeSronville. Michael DeSronville. Michael DeSronville. I wonder if it's in the gifts and go under his, yeah, there it is. The lone juror he has, this is giving me, this is giving me value in euros.
Did I accidentally make a switch I shouldn't have? I mean, gold, 10,000, why is it euros? That's weird. Anyway, it's a right now it's at 10,000 euros. No, that's the gold. And he's, oh, sorry, he's only raised. That can't be the real one. That's why it's in euros because it's probably not the real one. Yeah, it's not the real one. So I, yeah, the last is a day I guess I don't, man, can you imagine how, and the same thing happened with Doc when we set up the, as it go from me, a gift and go, whatever it was, and people immediately go in there and try to set up a fake account so people will be fooled into giving to theirs. Yeah. What do you want to bet there's Somalian? I mean, you don't see, you don't, you never hear, that was a Swedish group of people who,
or it was, they were from Denmark. Now, it's always the Somalians. Why is that? Culture. That's all. Juan Batmami says, run around naked with a rubber glove on your head saying, hello, I'm a squid. That's what you could do. Beth, Bethy not says, he may have done some bad things. Bad stuff, but he's right, the children are the victims. Yeah. How have we all done some bad stuff? I was hauled into court on a, um, term domestic violence. I was placed in the back of a car, back of a squad car handcuffs, taken down to night court. I had to stand there in that box, it was like 11 o'clock at night. And, and, and, and when the judge heard what happened, he looked at her and me and went, get, get them out of here. Really?
He said go. Yeah. Yeah, because it was a bullshit charge, but who might, who, who, who caused the arrest her? I caused them on one. Oh, you did. Okay. Yep. But I'm six, two. Yeah. I'm five pounds and, you know, she's five, five, three and a hundred and ten. So who does it look like is going to be the, yeah. But so who knows what, if he placed his hands around her throat? Yeah, my jail story is a little bit longer than yours. A little bit longer. A little bit longer story. Yeah. One of the, one of these days, one of these days. It's, so what, what, what, what? What did Michael Deserunville do? I mean, but did he did, again, he did, who is without sin has the first stone. He did his civic duty. That's what he did. Whether or not he's in the past, I don't know.
Because they're trying to find him as a bad guy. Right. But obviously it wasn't bad enough to keep him off of a jury pool. That's true. But what, what, what does keep you off of a jury? What felonies, felonies in most states? Will keep you off of jury pool? Well, that doesn't make sense either. And this was what state was this? Massachusetts. Massachusetts. Yeah. Basic legal, describe you're not a US citizen. Like that's going to stop him. Our under the legal voting age do not live in the local court's jurisdiction. Have a felony conviction or a recent theft conviction. This is because you stole something. Means you can't be on a jury. I would say that those people who are more intimately acquainted with the justice system would be good jurors. You go in there thinking it's all about the truth and justice.
And you know it's not. Please. Shit, my ninja. Let's see, being over a certain age. I can absolutely see why they would think he was arrogant. And he might have been just, you know, pissing in everybody's weedies. But you've got to stand for yourself, whether you're right or wrong, the fact that he stood up for himself and stayed true to whatever he believed. That's what a jury, that's what a juror is supposed to do. That's why it is the job of the attorneys to present the case. You're job is to decide the case based on. Jody wants to know if you learned you're the little finger trick and jail. I did not learn that in jail. Brad told me that was everything. I know. That was the alley.
Ron was the prison wife. I was not in prison. I'm actually. You were at the prison. Don't ask me if I had a prison wife, but I was not the prison wife. You want to be the husband or the wife? Yeah. I'll be the husband. Then get over here and suck your wife's. Anyway, it was over on the cheap fake said Brad is suing because someone said he smells good. I got someone to quit their job once because I asked him to shower and wash his clothes. He threw a tantrum and acted like a child storming out and sitting on a rock until someone picked him up. But at least he didn't sue me. That is a plus. He can't. If someone's, there was just a story in the news about that. Wasn't there somebody smells so bad at work and people couldn't say anything about it because you know, I had, I got put in a bad position once. I worked at Walmart. One of the guys that worked for me was a, no, was in a wheelchair.
That had been all his life. And he smelled so bad, dude, I had to have a conversation with him. And it was because not only are you a cripple, but you're a stinky cripple. I mean, but it was a, it was a tough conversation. But it worked. I mean, we got through it. I didn't get in trouble for anything. So he shouldn't. I mean, there was the, I mean, I was respectful about it. Don't get me wrong. But I mean, it was just one of those things that you know going into it. But this has the potential to be really bad. Speaking of women doing silly dumb things as a theme here, I saw this. Well, that's two years old. Three, yeah, but you ain't seen it before. Here's a woman going out to take a, a selfie. It's weird. There's no, there's no audio on this. But as a, as a, as a human being, as you're walking out there on this,
the pier, well, right? I mean, at some point you're going, damn, that's a lot of water. There's a lot of water. It's it splashing up here on the dock. I don't know if maybe I want to make you this is there are no bison around. You don't know that there may be one there up just a right or a pool of whatever is in Yellowstone. So, so she's standing there getting nice selfie and oh, look at the big wave coming. Be it wave. Yeah, and, uh, buh-bye. And I don't know if she got her purse wet or not. What is it with? There was some other dumbass out there even farther. What is it with these people? Women doing silly things. And the whole thing started because I saw the, the story and this has happened before of, you know, you see people running like full marathons and, uh,
their bowels give out, I guess is the best way to say that. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I did. And they run the marathons and, and, you know, 26 miles, whatever. And you've trained for a long time and, um, I think the one you're talking about though, she was doing, I haven't got there yet. I know which one you're talking about. I think because it was just recent. Do you do you? Are you sure you know? Yeah, I'm not sure you know. Okay. All right. I don't know. You know, get asked to do with Kydrox cookies. Not sure. I know. Anyway, you, um, you see these athletes who have the, um, and again, it's unfortunate because you've trained for a very long time. On doing this, accomplishing the number one on winning. Yes. Or hail just finishing for that. Now I'd be happy. Just believe me. I asked you about the other day. Do you think you could, how far do you, do you think you could run a mile right now? Uh, yeah.
I think I could run a mile, but that's, I'd be pushing it at that point. Yeah. Because let me tell you, because I haven't run in years. I think we should get together and we should somebody should film it. And just to see because you'd be surprised when you are gasping for air. And you're like, I know I'm, I'm going to run 10 by the third of a mile. Yeah. Uh, and oh, but and in this heat. Yeah. Could you do it in his heat? You probably not, dude. Um, I'm not even going to. But that and that's my point is that these people have trained a very long time and they're by God. They're going to finish it. Yeah. They are. They're going to finish it and and you see this happen with runners a lot. What you don't generally see it. And and I, and I said, as man gold, if you are familiar with him on, on YouTube, he has quite the following. And he does commentary on and he said, you know, this is nasty.
Uh, and she should have been taken out of the competition and people were commenting. So well, he obviously hasn't seen, you know, the, uh, this happens all the time with runners in marathon's and they're running along and there's diarrhea going down the back of their leg. Hey, enjoy your breakfast. Um, but it's completely different than what this is. Is that some. Yeah. Wasn't she crossfit doing some kind of crossfit? Whatever it was, it used equipment. Yeah. So not only is she got this nastiness running down her leg. This is her on the left. It's, uh, Joanna were words worker in Nerman. Um, and this happened in China. It was the high rocks. When I first heard I was like, how do these? Yeah. No. Yes. This is the one I was talking about. But she and she wasn't going to let that stop her at all, dude. That's, uh, that's her. I see people are there we go. People are pissed because she didn't let it stop her.
And it would be different if it was a marathon because you're out there running and people behind those nasty people aren't having to pick up the same equipment that you're using and also walking through the nasty is that you're leaving on the ground there. And on the equipment where everybody else has because they had to do push ups. And so you're leaving a nasty mess all throughout the competition. Yeah. I'm disappointed that they blurred out what we can't show. Fecal matter now and nearly not. Wow. Strange world in which we live. Um, people images of sparked outrage and disgust from people who describe the incident as a threat to public say yes. In this case, absolutely because look at her. She's down there on the ground and she's doing the push ups and then somebody else has to get down on the ground. Go could they move over? Yes. But she also the equipment and everything else. And now they're actually the event organizers are actually saying, yeah, we probably,
we probably should have done so they're calling it now an increasingly complex situation. Now it pretty much wasn't all that complicated. It was a woman doing nastiness. And again, she was obviously ill had some intestinal bug or something. So you can't blame her for that. But what you can say is don't do that when other people have to be in your hemisphere. I'm all dude. You got to think she's probably worked for years to get to where she's at. Had a problem. But she's like, I'm all the cusp of winning this and she did win, by the way. They should have taken her out. That's what everybody is saying. But I don't know that I agree with it. And I don't. It is a, that is a threat to public health. I can't say I disagree with that statement. But I mean, you got to think you're willing to sacrifice everybody else's. Listen, let me ask you a question. Do you think this happens often as Navy seals training?
Navy seal training they're dealing with matters of life and death. This is an athletic competition. Okay. This is by choice. Navy seals, not so much. Navy seals. You know, they aren't doing anything with life and death during. Training. They're true. But they are. And I, I don't know how what the conditions are today. But I can tell you some of the things that you used to have to go through. Uh, to train as a Navy seal and believe me, this is part of the problem was her. People are looking at this as, as the safety issue. I get it. I do get it. I mean, but she was a mind over matter person here. That's what happened here. She or let or she thinking, oh, in her way, nastiness and they're going to stay away from me and I'm going to win. I don't think that's what she was thinking at all. I think she was, oh, my opinion, she just didn't let anything stop her. She had the goal in mind and she was going to do it. If she had had a heart attack, she would have probably gotten up and tried to finish.
You can't defend shit. I'm telling you. Yeah. I'm just bending shit. See what I just did. That's pretty good. I mean, let me just ask and she's Aussie. Not Osborne, but she's Australian and those Australians. They're pretty bad ass. This is, this is labeled an Aussie interview at its Oseist. Oh, well, it's really quite funny. I was always in bed sleeping at a toe clock. This morning, me wife comes in and says, oh, the shop's been someone ran into the shop and I said, oh, what? So I jumped out of bed and all I had was meandies on and I walked out the front and I've seen the car smashed and I've seen the bike walking back to the car and so I've walked out. So I said, oh, what do you do on my like you can't be leaving the scene and you guys don't be a hero, mate. And I said, I'm not trying to be a hero, but the police are coming and he just saw one of his scoot up the road and I said, no, it's not going on like that, mate.
So I jumped in me car and I started chasing him up the road and then he went down the side straight and then the police were coming and I flash him and sent them off the direction of him. But mate, all I had was me, jox. I was chasing him up the street and I'm just like, mate, like, because you, because you told me that this is your mate shop and you didn't want him to get away. Yeah, no, no. Well, me mates, mums had this shop for like 40 odd years and look at it. Look at it. What's a mess, isn't it? I'm beyond the mess. Oh, like words, words can't explain here. It is mate. Look, now, Daniel, you managed to put some pants on in the meantime. Do you feel like a hero? Not really. It's just something you got to do for the community, mate. It's like you look after your mates and your mates always look after you. There you go. Good attitude. There you go, guys. Daniel, quite the Australian hero here this morning. That's for the owners of the Fish and Chip shop. Well, they are ensured, but there is a big mess to clean up this morning. Oh, wouldn't you like to live next, or did Daniel?
Right? Daniel, be me. Yes. Yes. Yeah, thanks a lot. Yes, what Daniel needs to realise, Daniel, if you can hear me, you know all good superheroes wear their jocks on the outside. So the punter fits the brief part of the pun. Yeah, but I had nothing on Barney Jokes. That's not been in the uniform, but that's okay. You're a hero in our eyes. Well done, Daniel. Yeah, cheers. Thanks a lot, guys. You got to love him, Daniel. Right? I mean, he's out there just and think about this just because he did what you should do as a good citizen. Yeah. Which shows you something about the rest of the of the world. He just he did the right thing and people like, wow, somebody did the right thing. How far have we devolved? And doing the right thing now makes you a hero. This is how far we've devolved about this far. And there you go. That's what you were defending right there.
And and we don't have smell of vision. So I mentioned smell my mojo dot com. I know I did, but smell my mojo dot com gets them soap. Yeah, a cleanness. Right. What is wrong with you freebie what did he do I can't I couldn't understand I couldn't follow what he said. I mean I love the Australian accent so much he I would let him just call me on the phone and read the phone book. This love ever since Olivia. God rest her soul how long she been dead now? Been a while yeah it's been a while speaking of women doing bad things. Not to pick on women but why not. How often do we get the chance I mean other than every day she looks crazy. That's because she is crazy but what I didn't realize is this. A previously non-existent lab was created filled with as many of the black boxes the company could find. Then vice president Joe Biden was invited to inspect. This is sort of a laboratory in the future. Unaware the devices didn't work and that he along with the world was being conned.
Yeah to learn that it's not because he was dumb or anything or slow actually this wasn't during the time when he was. If you don't think it was. Did he have cancer here or not not sure but I'd have. She created a fake lab to show Joe Biden. I mean what an audacious act of deception. Well she was audacious I would grant you that and everything she did. I do think there's some this is my opinion that there's some sociopathy involved. And the ability to lie and without caring is not normal. I don't know that she lied without caring. We don't know what she we don't know what was in her heart. She may have cared she may have a deeply despised lie. I don't know I'm looking forward to the documentary that's coming out but I don't know.
But wouldn't it be cool and it may be that her vision and by the way sociopathy it's like the number one trait for CEOs right. A good CEO needs to be a psychopath or sociopath and remember one's is a sociopath or a psychopath what's the difference. They should well they don't need to be a sociopath they need to have sociopathic tendencies. Which would make you a sociopath. No, not necessarily. You have to think you have to think like a sociopath. You have to have tendencies but you don't act on them. That makes you a sociopath. How can you have sociopathic tendencies and act on them and not be a sociopath? I didn't say you could act on them. I said you don't act on them. If you don't act on them you're not in effective CEO apparently. Oh my gosh. You know the people I'm referring to is it's the CEOs.
It's a sociopathic. Have you ever watched you go mad? Come on. You can have sociopathic tendencies. You know that's not real right. Not all CEOs are sociopath but studies suggest that sociopathic tendencies or anti-social traits appear more frequently in corporate leadership than in general population. There you go. So if you have sociopathic traits or tendencies. Are you a sociopath? Are you a sociopath? What does it say? No. Sorry about you. No. You know that's not what it says. Look if you want to read it. Read what? What does it say? What was the answer? You don't have the things I tell you to do.
Why would I? Come on. I would read that. What? Nothing. And to be fair, sometimes women get screwed not in that way. But badly, I didn't realize this. This will piss you off. She may be a sociopath. I don't know. You know who it was your show or in a circus on that? Oh yeah. Yeah. From Star Trek DNG. What was her name? Deanna Troy. Very good. Yeah. Listen to this. When that play came to an end and we were having dinner at the groucho, you leaned in and you leaned into me and said, Star Trek's coming back. Oh, with Picard. Yeah. How did you feel when Paramount, after all you'd been through, says we're bringing you back? Well, it was a bit of a thing. Because I'm sitting on a beach in Greece with Michael Dorn.
I mean, because actually Michael vacations with my family more than I do now. And he had been sent the first two scripts because he wouldn't talk, you know, contract until he'd read it. What? I wasn't afforded the luxury of being able to see the first two scripts. Because, you know, I'm just me, right? So I said, Michael, email him to me. And so I read him. And I remember being in my hotel, Roman Andros, this little Greek island. And we started doing the deal. The first time ever, and this is going to get me to so much trouble. First time ever that we didn't negotiate, because the money that they offered was good. It was like, how much? Where do I sign? It was one of those. Thank you. And so we done the deal.
And a few days later, they came back. And they said, actually, if you're only in one or two scenes in that episode, we don't want to pay you the full amount. Wow. Wow. We want to pay you a tenth. Wow. Maybe in me, I got, I was furious. I don't blame you. And I went right. They were going to start shooting in, when was it? They start shooting in September? Something like that. Wasn't it? Right. Well, I'm not available to laugh to fucking Christmas. Literally, I said, I'm not available to laugh to Christmas. They went, well, I said, I'm just not available. And they went, but you're, no, sorry, not available. And so I actually didn't start work until January. I also remember. And so that's why I wasn't in a lot of episodes in Picard, because I'm like, you don't drink people like that. Agreed.
I'm glad you did that. I'm glad you stood up. That's Hollywood, though, for you. That's why Hollywood, there's never been a show in Hollywood that's made money. Ever. That's surprised me at all. They have always been able, Hollywood accounting is an amazing phenomenon. That's why James Garner sued Universal back in the day. When they were shooting Maverick, and there were like two or three different Maverick series. They, at one point, were there were three, I think three series on it at the same time of Maverick, Brett, and there was a Barton, and there was another Maverick. He said that they would be shooting on the same day, and they would essentially have the, wherever they were shooting, they pointed the cameras in three different directions, and they'd shoot one scene from one series and then another, and then they'd shoot out a shot at Maverick at the same time. And then they didn't pay the royalties like they were supposed to.
And so Garner had to sue them. And in the end, he won, but he said he basically made money, made enough money to cover the cost of the lawsuit. It's always been, that's why Carson was so smart. Carson owned the Tonight Show. He actually owned the, the Tonight Show while he was on it, not NBC. Yeah. And that's why he still see him on, I mean, just brood, really smart dude. But that's what Hollywood does. It will try to screw you out of everything, which is it's kind of, it's nice to see the downfall of Hollywood in that sense. You know, again, if Paramount ends up pulling out of California, boy or ironically, if they pull out their screwed big time, hugely big time. It's just, it's a shame that it has to come to that. Something that brings so many people so much joy. Think about that. The entertainment, our entertainment medium and it is like hell for some people working in it.
And some people, you know, I always wanted to be, I always wanted to work in the movies because it is a fun, it's a fun environment to be in unless you're working with a bunch of dicks. But it's a fun environment. But man, it is a soulless place, unfortunately. And then I said with it, I was speaking of entertainment. I ran across this particular clip in a, in a search for a different one. But what's wrong with this picture? If you look at your back door, and you look at your pets and your pets look back at you, and your pet is like, what is that? A Siberian tiger? It's not a dog. I can tell you that. You may be doing it wrong. I'm not sure. But the title of this is Tiger Attack, why you should not turn your back. Guess what happens? And it's not horrific if you are. You get ill with the sight of blood.
Oh, you've already seen diarrhea. What the little blood you're gonna do? Ice alive. Oh, he's like, uh, I'm gonna feed him a little, a little smaller cat milk out of a bottle. Let's go give the big guy. Hey, he wants some milk out of the bottle. Oh, out. Oh, shit. He, he, he, let me just tell you what he used that. That was crazy. When Doc Kitty does that, and you know, he'll, cats are, I don't want to, I don't have to break this deal, but cats can be dicks. That cat, that big cat. The second that little one ran up there, that big cat started moving, and I'm like, oh, here it comes. Almost like they planned it. Wow. Who is that woman laughing and smacker across the face? See, that's an example of somebody who deserves the backhand. Am I wrong? I don't think so. Look at me. I'm just, I'm not afraid of them. I'll just go out here. I don't know if he's Aussie or nobody is now. Oh, go ahead and grab a
talk about the tale. When they're an old song that said you should never do that. Pull on his target tail right here. Look at those. And, and when cats have decided they, they're done, they're done. That's give you what we get to see on the outside of the door. What do we gonna see? The cat. What is he? Open the door. Well, can't get it up to him. He can't get it up to him. He had to rise to eat soap. How did gibberish are they speaking? I'm not digging around open the door. That little one looks like he's just playing, right? Yeah. Look at those teeth.
Remember, you have to show them whose boss. You have to establish dominance. You have to establish dominance. But this is the one I was looking for. Have you seen these? This is it's called a caracol or a caracal or a, I don't what the hell you call it. But it's a big ass cat. And how do you get this thing to re, hang on a second. I'm gonna hit refresh. And then it'll go back to the beginning and I can do this and that and show you the title. Why do caracals piss at their owners for no reason? Behold the caracal. How do you seem like a sweet little cat? Uh, that's sweet. All right. And that's sweet enough. Who wouldn't want to come home to that?
Listen to that thing. Wow. It's pissed off because it has short stubby little legs. How do you sleep at night knowing that thing is in your house? You know, when we see videos like this, we always imagine that whoever's holding the cameras, you know, a regular person like we are. Ah, just a person back that you don't realize the person holding that camera is a freaking psychopath. Or a sociopath. Or has traits or tendencies that lean that way may not be a sociopath or a psychopath. But what kind of a crazy ass human do you have to be? I was thinking to be it, but that's just me. That's always smart to go behind a cat and tap it while it's eating.
Wow. Those teeth. I'd be afraid that other cat would be lunch. Another cat's like, that's my homey right there. You want something? You go through the camera. That thing sounds like a diesel truck. It really is. Holy shit. Does he have two of them? Wow. I like cats, but let me tell you a cat. If it's a pet of mine and it hisses, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, I mean, look at those teeth. They'd go an inch, inch and a half deep. Oh, no. And then tear. Yeah. You don't, I mean, I don't know how you handle the caracal. Probably you don't. But the one comment here, I'm very glad you actually explained why caracals hiss at their owners instead of just saying the question and not providing an answer
while constantly showing clips of caracals hissing at their owners, right? Had an ex-wife that used to greet me in a similar fashion. That's why she doesn't live in the house anymore. When you ignore all the red flags and still bring them home. Yeah. Yeah. I don't, I really don't understand why you would want one of these. Yeah. Exactly. This is a good example of just because you can. Doesn't mean you should. Why would you want that thing in your house? I mean, that just, he looks miserable. Now, my dogs has had a rat terrier named Tarzan. It was just like that. Why? Why would you want that pissed off creature in your home? I haven't checked in on the Daily Mojo. Jack Ramm, which is really Ron's job, but he doesn't like you people for some reason. I don't know what it is. Look, I think you're all swell.
But Lisa, I know what you did to piss wrong off. Hi, Brenda, Jay Reed and Dark Magneto. I'm going to get the flock out of here. Oh, there's a Hitler meme. If we could just kill Trump, get rid of Manga and the electro college ban voter ID. Stock the Supreme Court, allow illegals to vote. And censor free speech. We could save democracy. Wow. Truth hurts, doesn't it? Let me just tell you the people on Facebook that I've been friends with for very long time. That suddenly have caught PDS. The $5,000 check offer has just triggered them beyond all belief. And I respond, hey, I'll take the five grand. Yeah, for what reason? I got news for you. It'll never happen. It probably won't, but if it does, I'll take the five grand.
Why wouldn't you have you paid more than $5,000 in taxes this year? You think, guess what? That's your money. You're giving it back to you. Take it. I doubt that those checks will happen, but they might. It's possible. And if the Democrats do win this, I mean, again, the uniparty up there, but if the Democrats do win, you're going to need emergency food. You're going to need all kinds of supplies. Lord knows what's going to happen. Prepare with no jo5o.com is where you find all of that. All the tools you need to survive, the food you do need a good supply of food, you need a good supply of water, or some sort of a water filtration device. Remember when they was it last year, year before, when we were having those cyber attacks on water treatment facilities? Yeah, I think I remember that.
Why did they just win away, right? Just stop. Or did it? It was it was churches before that. Yeah, almost like they were testing the armor, find it where the little chinks in the armor were. Sorry, it was fine. I'll like it immunity. Anyway, go to preparewithmojo5o.com, find even an emergency radio if you don't have one of those, you need one. It's just common sense. And I know you have common sense. Well, except for that one guy. But you can't tell him anything anyway. Prepare with mojo5o.com promo code mojo5o. Mojo5o. Try that. And you know what? Will you get when you do that? I can't remember. But it's something good and then we get a little credit too. So just do it. Stop asking questions and just do it. You people. Out of the way you like! Download the Daily Mojo app and enable notifications to make life a little easier. Oh, and tell a friend about us. You'll be glad you did. Bradley J. Back to you. I cannot emphasize how important it is. Enough. To download that Daily Mojo app. And to enable the notifications. Not only can we communicate with you, but you can communicate with us. And I think I'll do it this week. Sometimes this week. What's that? I have a brand new George Foreman Grill. Oh, just give it away. What? Very nice. Very nice. I didn't come with a box of damage. But I'd tell you. Funny how you find things. And I can prove to you. It still has a little thing over the plug.
So anyway, you want to do it. And we'll do it somehow. It'll be a message to the app or something like that. So just download the app. It's bribery. Yes. I can't give you a check for $5,000. If I could do that, I probably wouldn't be sitting here right now. The things I find, however, surfing the web as it were, that aren't AI slop. Pretty amazing. And this, we have our problems here in America, but I still wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Especially Japan. Unsettling facts about Japan, you probably didn't know. Some elderly people in Japan deliberately commit minor crimes just to get sent to prison. For some, prison offers more stability and social interaction than living alone. But that's just the beginning. It took until 2014 to criminalize a category of content that most people assume was already banned. Did you know that in Japan, adult diapers sell more than baby diapers?
That's because many Japanese people prioritize work over their own happiness, contributing to one of the world's lowest birth rates. Thousands of people in Japan disappear every year without a trace. There's even a term for it. Johatsu or the evaporated people who intentionally vanish and start new lives. Pretty crazy claims, right? Like the old people that commit crimes just to get sent to prison. You think that's true? Wouldn't surprise me the Japanese prisons I saw a documentary on it once. It looks cozy, don't they? Yeah, they're structured. Everything's structured, but they're not. You're right. It's been documented for years. The prisons have seen a sharp rise in inmate 65 plus. Quadrupled over the two decades in some reporting dominant offense among elderly people is petty theft. Food or cheap goods from a familiar store. And they get to go to prison three hots in a cot.
Japan's overall crime rate is still extremely low by international standards. You saw the CP there, the Kittie Point thing. Yeah. Took till 2014. That sounds crazy, doesn't it? That true or not? I don't know. You got to choose one true. True. For you, Japan banned the production and distribution of real abuse material in 1999. Simple possession of actual kid, not a crime until 2014. And a while, Japan was the last of the G7 countries to close that little, if you want to call it a loophole. The law still excludes, I don't know what manga is, manga, mage, mage and G.A. No, manga. It's a Japanese anime.
Well, they also say anime. So, all right. And computer generated depictions. Those are still legal. And a strange adult diapers. Do they sell more than kids diapers? False. It's true. The sales claim, true, in recent years, adult incontinence products have overtaken baby diapers in the Japanese market as births hit record lows. And 29% close to 30% of the population is 65 and over. They manufacture, they've actually shifted capacity to make more. And in one case, they've stopped making baby diapers altogether and they only make adult. Hmm. And then the last one about people disappearing, the johatsu, the evaporated,
two thousands of people disappear in Japan every year? True. Yep. If phenomenon is real, the numbers and viral videos are inflated often. Japan records on the order of 80,000 missing person reports a year. Now, a lot of them are located fairly quickly that would include the dementia that you can imagine, teenage runaways, short-term disappearances. A smaller subset are deliberate vanishings. People walking away from the debt shame, abusive relationships, failed marriages or crushing work pressure. There are even night-moving companies. That help people pack up and leave without a forwarding address. That's kind of, I guess you could find that here if you looked hard enough. The cultural term johatsu dates back decades, thousands without a trace every year. It says it overstates how many are gone forever.
But that's kind of crazy. You imagine committing a crime so you'll get sent to prison? That it's actually because things are tough. I guess those are the people that don't have family. They don't have the resources to take care of themselves. Let me just tell you, it gets kind of scary when you get up into your 60s. You're like, well, you realize that things hurt a little bit more. And you realize, man, if things hurt like this, it's going to be like in 10 years. Yeah. It's really weird that I was talking to Duke Air not too long ago about the ability to fight or to still be in the game. Basically, if bad things happen, you can kind of take care of the situation.
And he said, you know, in 10 years I'm out of the game, I thought, no, no, no, because if you're out of the game, I'm out of the game. And I know, no, no, nope, nope, nope, not in the end night. My guess is, Jaguars, 10 years from being out of the game with the knowledge he gained from being a seal. Meaning that he could still probably handle shit right now if he needed to. Yeah. He does things with his little finger and they're not fun. They're tough. Yeah. This is the original. I didn't play this just now. I played it for you, but I didn't play it. This is the original when someone asks you about, hey, remember Charlie bit my finger? I'm free of sleep. Haha, Charlie. Charlie bit me.
No, man. Okay, stupid. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, Charlie. Oh, Charlie. That really hurt. No, Charlie bit me. Got to be bit, my friend. And that really hurt Charlie. It's still hurting Charlie does those. That is, that's what Charlie is really kind of enjoying that. That was the original. Charlie bit my finger. Yeah. And that was the one that sold in, is it 22? I believe so. Yeah, 22. That the original video of that and the people who put that on
on the YouTube said they were going to take, you know, that we're taking the removing this from the internet web. So the person paid $700,000 for that. Oh, wow. That's because it's getting hits today and probably pay well. When they told when they bought it for 700,000, they told the original poster. Don't take it down. It's it's culturally important and leave it there. So they paid $700,000 for the original. And then said just just keep it up there. That was when NFTs remember all those NFTs how they were going to be. You know, the future, that's what people are going to buy. And just go quickly just just so you know what they look like now. That is Charlie and his brother. They're old now. Not as old as us, but old. A quick hold special guest next Daily Mojo.

And one day you look up and you've your old. Crazy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Crazy. Yeah. We have a special guest with us this morning. From Patriots relief, get Mojo CBD, Tim, how you doing? Good morning, Brad. How are you, man? Just fabulous. It is a great day to be alive. And just remember, in 10 years it's going to be a different ballgame. So just take good care of yourself, because one day you'll wake up and look like me. We wanted Tim to come on because we have a little issue with the URL. of the URL, if any of you were looking for getmojocbd.com, you guys did some fotsin' around with the website. You go behind the scenes, you have your own servers now. Anyway, so I think we've got that fixed
for those of you who are having an issue, but one wanted to talk to Tim about CBD and the world of CBD and how it can help you and what's new, because right, frankly, it's become, I mean, it's pretty common now. You see CBD stores everywhere. You have strip malls, gas stations, but much like sushi, you do not want to buy your CBD at a gas station. Just never a good idea. And why is that, Tim? Why is it, there are different levels of quality, right, in CBD? Yeah, absolutely. And there's states now that are starting to restrict it again. We had to sign the thing yesterday for cannabis, just saying we will not carry anything with any amount of THC other than the federal legal less than 3%, and all of our products are that way anyway, but they're really hammerin' down on that. And back to your question,
the quality is really important and all of our products come from a distillate, right? So that's the purest form of CBD that you can get. And everybody should know at this point that CBD is not marijuana, it comes from industrial hemp, it just happens to be the most abundant source of CBD. And the other thing most people don't know, there's actually a video that's really good. If you go to the homepage of patriotsreleaf.com, it's a pop-up, and it's a little over two minutes. I didn't know if we could play that during this interview or not, but it really kind of talks about why CBD is so important for almost everybody, and it's all about that endocannaminoid system that's in every animal on the planet. Sure, I can play this, let's see. We've all heard about the major systems in our bodies, like the digestive, respiratory, nervous, and cardiovascular systems, but there's one essential system discovered in the 90s
that you probably never heard of. It makes all of the other systems work smoothly with each other, like a conductor ensuring the different sections of an orchestra all play a beautiful symphony together. This system is called the endocannabinoid system. It has been acknowledged and studied by scientists extensively with support from the National Institutes of Health. As we age, the system weakens. As a result, the different systems in our bodies stop working together smoothly. That's one of the reasons older adults struggle with pain, inflammation, cognitive decline, and other ailments of aging for which doctors often prescribe dangerous and addictive pharmaceuticals. They also recommend lifestyle remedies, such as exercise, good diet, and stress management. And while all these improve the system, it is only fractionally and over a long time. But here's the game changer. The system can be restored faster using hemp derived CBD when the system is restored, pain subsides,
sleep is improved, and stress is reduced. When the system is restored, disease progression can slow down, and years are added to your life, as well as years spending good health. And 20% of seniors are already using CBD today for pain, arthritis, cancer symptoms, sleep disorders, Alzheimer's, and many other ailments of aging. But doctors are not equipped to provide guidance, and there are no FDA standards for what is already in the market today. Imagine if that were the case for other medications. Older adults are suffering needlessly. Hemp derived CBD can help them feel better, live longer, and improve their quality of life significantly. A Price Waterhouse Cooper's report estimates annual cost savings for the US, nearly $64 billion a year, if cannabis is fully integrated into the healthcare system. The groundbreaking 2018 Farm Bill,
championed by President Trump, was the first step. Now it's time to educate doctors on the endocannabinoid system, provide Medicare coverage for CBD, and give millions of seniors the support they deserve. You will deliver the most important senior health initiative of the century, cementing your legacy, and transforming aging care. Millions everywhere. We'll thank you. Let me ask you this. And Tim Roberts is the CEO. You're the big cheese, the head cajuna, over at Patriots Relief. And, you know, because a lot of people just go to the interwebs and they'll go, hey, why are they banning CBD or why are they doing this or that? And the web can be both good and bad because there's so much information, and strangely, a lot of it's not correct. Why are the governments going all bananas over CBD? And I understand the THC thing, the intoxicating effects, I still think it's the alcohol lobby
that's doing that, not so much the government because I don't think the government cares whether you're healthy or not. But why are they going after CBD? You already know the answer to that, pharmaceutical, right? They want to control everything. They actually have developed a medication for help treat Parkinson's disease. And, you know, the main ingredient is CBD, but they've patent it and added a couple of other things and charging a ton of money for people to get the healing that they need. It's so frustrating and it's maddening. It's infuriating as well that they continue to stick their dirty mitts into things that we know are healthy, force are good for us out here, and they try to be the nanny. But is there a way for we, the people,
the citizens of this fine country to push back against this? Or what do they do? I mean, the Commonwealth project's been around, I think since 2019. They're pushing hard, but they're pushing up a really big, they're pushing against a really big wall that is not moving. And it's big farm, it just has so much money, so much leverage, so much control. It's just up to us. There's so many CBD distributors, you just gotta find one. I feel like we have the best products out there. Like I said, all organic farms, all organic process, everything is top notch, all of our products. We sourced everything from the beginning back in 2018, and we're with all of our, all of the companies that we found then, we're still with those companies today, because we had a list of what these companies needed to provide.
And that list was pretty strong, and we found the companies we knew could provide the quality products that our customers would want. And like I said, we've been with them all of them since 2018. And you know, my initial comment was, it's like CBD at the gas station is like sushi at the gas station, you don't wanna buy that. What is the real difference? What's the CBD that you'd find at the gas station? Where do they get theirs and why is it bad? You can't necessarily say that. There's been a lot of studies, a lot of testing, where people have taken purchase CBD from a lot of different places and tested it. And there's, in some cases, no CBD whatsoever. It's just, it's just hemp oil without any CBD in it. And you'll see that a lot on like Amazon, because Amazon, you can't, if you think you're buying CBD on Amazon,
you're just, you're not, because it's so heavily regulated by the banks. You have to have a high risk merchant account in order to purchase it. That's not Amazon. So the real big difference is that if you are actually getting CBD and you've gotten just a regular CBD and to try that texture, it's horrible. You'll spit it out with ours. It's like the champagne of CBD. It's a, it's a, it's that distillate. It's so pure. Mm-hmm. The strength, like you can take a crappy CBD at like 500 milligrams, or like a thousand, let me take that back the other way. Like a thousand milligrams and ours at 600 is going to be more effective than that one that you bought that wasn't a distillate, just for those reasons. And when you do get the good stuff, the CBD that's been properly cultivated and gone through the process in the lab like y'all do,
the results can be amazing for people with inflammation and all kinds of things. I guess I don't fully glee, we can say it, it helps if you have arthritis or any of those things. It's, what, it was this product is not designed to treat, cure, prevent, or blah, blah, blah. I know it's treating you. You're any disease. Yeah, right. I'm sure we need a disease, we say it all the time. Yeah. You know what? What we can say is the main reason like people purchase it is for those reasons, it's the pain, the inflammation, the porcelain, the stress, the anxiety. I have a few customers that are up in New York that she's brought a bunch of people to us, but her husband had diagnosed with her early onset of Parkinson's. And within the first two days of using R CBD, his nighttime tremors and his legs were gone. And within like three weeks,
he had no shakes whatsoever. And the only thing she changed was adding R CBD. So she just started, I'm high-dose in him on R CBD. And she says he's back to normal, he's active. He's not just sitting in the couch, just staring at a wall. He's wanting to go out and play pickleball and go for walks. And everybody's experience is different with CBD. Some people feel it on an immediate effect. Some people it's over time. Some people, and like you saw with that video, like everybody should be taking it. And the recommended amount that everybody should take is like 25 milligrams. That's why if you go someplace and you find CBD, a gummy is 25 milligrams. A soft gel is 25 milligrams, because that's like the recommended amount. Most people need to take. But if you got something going on, you're not sleep and you got high stress, you got pain, and all of these things, then you can up that. You really can't take too much, but the effects, what I was leading to there is some people might be on it for like a month
and then say, you know, I don't even know that this is doing anything for me. Then they go off for two or three weeks. And they're like, oh wow, I didn't realize that CBD was really doing what it was doing. Yeah, and you touched on the Commonwealth project briefly, but explain what it is exactly. It's an organization that's trying to, they're lobbying to try to get the medical industry to incorporate CBD into the system so that people can use their insurance and their health savings cards and things like this to pay for CBD. Okay, and people can find out more there. Obviously at Commonwealthproject.org and find out how they can get involved. But there's another term out there that I've seen in places and have actually ingested and the Delta group of THCs,
which those are actually lab created, right? And then CBD is not any of the, because I think people hear the word Delta. And was that CBD? No, it's not anything like that. Am I right in saying that? That's right. It all comes from industrial hemp. I mean, those cannabinoids, right? So your body is actually supposed to produce its own cannabinoids. That's how it works. That system and your body is actually supposed to create two different cannabinoids and then they communicate with these receptors. That's how the whole thing works. But you can find these cannabinoids in several different plants. I think they're an egg plants. They actually found in South America and other plants. It's pretty abundant with CBD. It's just a cannabinoid. When it's in a planet's phytocanaminolids, when it's internal, it's endogenous or it's produced internally. And the nice thing is that phytocanaminolid works perfectly in our systems. We just need to put it in there so that all those other systems work together.
It's about the balance. That's what that system does. It's about the balance. Tim, real quick, talk about the difference between broad spectrum and full spectrum and the white in the glutes. That's a big thing there. So some people have like CDLs, they just can't, as they get tested, they can't have any THC show up in their systems. All of our topicals, whether it's the super relief staff intensive relief robber, the gel, the roll on the one. Some people like to lick. That's all, it has no THC. It's broad spectrum. And then our tinctures, that's good. Yeah, that's gone new and Brad, don't know and will lick that roll on. And it does, right? It does clear up your sinuses and you can read really well. It's the menthol in it. So and then the tinctures actually have our white labels, our broad spectrum. So that has no THC. Go through another process where it removes all of that. The one with the white lid.
Yeah, all those that have the white lids, broad spectrum. Full spectrum has the black lids on the tincture and that has that tiny bit of THC, that less than 3%. But those minor cannabinoids are also important because they communicate with different receptors in different ways in your body. So if you can take a full spectrum, absolutely take it. And don't get hooked on the topicals. You're thinking that's gonna fix every, because the topicals work really well. You know, you got to sore shoulder. You rub some of that on there and that pain goes away pretty quickly. But don't get hooked on that because we need to get the internal going. Whether it's a soft gel, gummy or a tincture, putting that oil underneath your tongue twice a day is super important to get those cannabinoids in there. So we have a function.
