LSU and Mrs. Sippy. And then of course the NFL. And on Sunday, we'll forget everything we saw on Saturday night. Because that's what the NFL does. What you make of the bills last night. They opened up their new stadium, beautiful stadium. It's nice. Josh Allen is overwhelming. My God, Mikey. It is so disheartening to watch that man play football because you can do everything right. And he'll still beat you in some way. I'm just curious how, why does he hate James Cook so much?

3:29Why does he hate James Cook? And I'm saying this as a James Cook fantasy football owner. I'm wondering why do you hate him so much that you take all of that man's touchdowns? Because he does. Two of them last night James Cook still gave you one. He gave you 135 yards. If you have them on fantasy, you had a good game. I mean, yeah, but I mean, listen, when you're playing Josh Allen and you have James Cook, everyone of those seems a little bit more painful. He is playing that position, Mikey. Really? And I hope he wins a Super Bowl. I do my root for that guy. I would like to see him win a Super Bowl. I'd like to see Lamar win a Super Bowl. You're shaking your head. No, but I am telling you, he is playing that game as well as you can play. He is playing that position, Mikey, as well as the position can be played. Two things can be true at the same time. And what you said is absolutely true. There's no denying it. He is playing that, that position so well right now that you can't blitz him, which, which takes away an entire defensive scheme. You can't blitz him because all he'll do is run outside and either hit a big pass or he'll run for 17 yards. And now your defense is gassed. He puts so much pressure on opposing defenses and he puts even more pressure on opposing offenses because it's almost like

Baker may feels a tough guy. Baker may feel it's going to put his shoulder down. He's going to tackle. You're going to tackle him. He's going to get up and he's going to flex on you. Yeah. You could be that, but you can't be both. And Josh Allen tries to be both. He'll put his head down. He'll run you over and then all of a sudden when he gets touched in the pocket, he'll go, where's my flag? Where's my flag? Josh Allen is my least favorite player in the NFL. That being said, we are watching probably the surest hall of fame start of a season that I've ever seen. He could be your least favorite player in the NFL, but you respect the hell out of them though. You wish you. How do you

Hey, Josh Allen. Yeah. Listen, such a physical style. He also flops a lot. And that's I don't know. There's plenty of evidence of that. It's good. It's not that it's not the flopping. I don't mind the flopping. I respect the flopping, but then you can't run somebody over. You can't do both. That's all I'm saying. You can flop and scream it. He killed me. He killed me and then throw a 30 yard, you know, passed down the field for a touchdown. You can do that. Or you can run people over. You can do that too, but you can't do both. You can't be this physical specimen who's hurting people when they try and tackle you and then scream when someone breathes on your own. You can't do both. I understand what you're saying. You're very passionate about that. She can't do both. I got it. I am not certain a player means more to his city and his organization that Josh Allen means to that city and that organization. Can you think maybe Lamar Jackson, if I'm being honest, Lamar means that much to Baltimore to that organization.

7:43And to that city, that city loves Lamar Jackson and they should. Both of them are all time great. I hope they both win a Super Bowl, but Allen means so much. He loves being a Buffalo Bill. And the bills love having him as their quarterback. And I hope they win a Super Bowl, but I don't think Bill's fans are going to look at him any differently. If he does it win one, you know, I really don't know. You kind of have to, right? They love him. Yeah, they do love Jim Kelly, but Jim Kelly, I don't, I don't know if you can love somebody. I mean, I don't know if you can love him as much as that if he doesn't win one because he didn't run into a juggernaut the way the bills ran into the cowboys. Right. I mean, you could say the chiefs, but the chiefs weren't in it last year and neither were you. Right. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like at some point, Josh Allen always messed up in the playoffs. And I'm not trying to, I'm not continuing my hatred of him in that. That's just the fact. At some point, he didn't, he didn't get it done in the playoffs. It's not apples to apples.

8:49That's fair because what Jim Kelly did was take his team to four consecutive Super Bowls. They should have won the first one against the giant. You're right. They ran into a juggernaut the next three, but they were so resilient. And Kelly was in the middle of all of that in terms of being able to lose the Super Bowl not once, not twice, not three times, four times, and still get back there. Right. Yes. And so Buffalo loved him for that. He made it to four did one, but they almost feel bad for, you know, with Josh Allen, I do wonder what happens there if Josh Allen never makes it to a Super Bowl, right? If Buffalo fans will embrace them the way they've embraced Jim Kelly. It's an interesting conversation. Yes. From the other side, are you worried about the Lions? Yeah, they have a problem on defense. Yeah. I'm very worried about that. They don't only have a problem on defense. I mean, the defense was, the defense was not good. But again, you can chalk it up to, hey, that's Josh Allen, but he didn't look good against Tyler. They didn't look good against Tyler Shuck in the Saints either. Yeah. And the offense, I think in the beginning, they had a game plan

And then towards halftime and the second half, they said, okay, we're going to throw out our game plan and we're just going to chuck it to Amon Ross St. Brown as much as possible. Yes. They've given up 72 points through two games, Mikey. And again, you're right. One was Buffalo used to give up a lot of points to Buffalo, but it's the 30 points they gave up to to the Saints that I'm concerned about. They should have given up more points to the Saints. But unlike Buffalo, Mikey, Buffalo can give up 30 points and Josh Allen's going to score 40. Detroit can't give up 30 to 35 points every night because their offense isn't going to score 45 every night. Josh Allen is, you know, crazy. And their offense is high powered Detroit. It's good. LSU and Mississippi, I think it kicks off at 730 or 8 o'clock, which is like two in the morning his time. How are we going to navigate this? So, if you could somehow record the game, maybe get it on your phone. You could wake up. I don't know what your travel schedule is, but that might be a nice thing to watch on the plane ride home. Sounds like you can you can navigate some stuff. It's nearly impossible to do it that way. These days it is. It's impossible. The last time I did it was when a horse was running for the triple crown at the Belmont and somehow I imagine to avoid it the entire

24:44day. I just thought it was possible, but Mikey's right. That's a great way to go home. It is watching that game. It is. I could probably navigate that would be a good way to occupy the the train ride from London to Bournemouth on Sunday morning. There you go. Perfect. Yeah. Right on. I knew we keep you around for some reason. Bear, what do you imagine? We've had so many people on talking about this game. What do you imagine that scene is going to be like Oxford, Mississippi on Saturday night? It is going to be an absolute hate fest and it's going to be absolutely glorious. Yeah. But there is genuine hate and disdain there. It's an awesome setting for college football in the Grove. But they literally hate Lane Kiffin and Lane loves being the villain. He truly, he is totally fine with it. Just I am the villain. I am the character. They hate me. Fine. Good. I think he absolutely loves it.

25:46In terms of the game, I kind of like all miss a little bit in this game. I know I am in the minority here. I wonder about all miss, I mean, Ellis used offence just a little bit. Levitt was more running around in the opener against Clemson. Then they finally got it going against a bad lot tech team in the second half. But I think that home field is going to count for something and with Lucas Cunjaro there, they're kicker. He is an absolute weapon. So like close game, I certainly think favors Ole Miss and I don't know if either team is capable of blowing out one of the other. Bear, do you like being at games like this? Like as in your job because I imagine that for everybody else, it's this this role thing. But for you, it's work and you're like, how the hell am I going to get out of here when the show is done? Now I've got to deal with all this. Is this something you like or is it more of just a nuisance for you? I know he's talking about the like either where I am right

26:47now and London or about. No, no, he's saying if you had to work a game like this, would you enjoy it? Would you go to a game like this if you weren't working? Oh, God, yes. Yeah. Great. It would be great because I love the scene. I love I love the raw emotion. I love the flavor. And I've always said college football needs characters. Yeah. What makes it great and to have a character like Lane and the fans and kind of we go from loving him last year to completely hating him right? I would love to be there this weekend. But how about from a work standpoint? If big noon was at this game and you're working the game, it's a different atmosphere for you, right? Because you're working. It's a much better atmosphere. That's where Mikey was getting to. Yeah. But content I know is much better. I'm just sitting there going the logistics of trying to get in and out of there. All that's it's like, oh my God, I don't care. Just get me home.

27:48No, I never thought it the only time I would think about it that way, as if it was like a a really, really late night and it was kind of like one road in, one road out type of deal. But for the show content with the signs and man on the street, of course, all the elements, it kind of I can remember being there in the Grove in 2014 for the Alabama Ole Miss game when Ole Miss wound up going to number one Ole Miss beat Alabama that day and why not getting ranked number one in the country. And it was like the perfect was that first trip there. And the scene was great. The storyline was great. It built up in like our show kind of kicked off. What at the time was like arguably the greatest day Ole Miss football history, but I'm saying Alabama at the end of the day. Len Kiffin, this is a win-win situation for him because I believe that he'll figure out a way to give himself credit regardless of who wins the game. I built that team over there that beat my LSU team where I'm so far, this is why I left Mississippi to go to LSU

Fortunately, it's not going to happen. I'm also concerned about the other game. Can I? Texas Tech, Houston Games, the second best. That's the sneaky big game. Yeah. I love Texas Tech in this game, by the way. Do you? Yeah, I see it's seven and a half. Houston feels like a dog with fleas. In my opinion,

30:58everybody is high on Houston after last week, Texas Tech went to Oregon State. It was a four quarter game, but the Oregon State played Houston to a four quarter gaming. Houston earlier this year as well. So I'm not buying it. I think it's a great buy low spot for for Texas Tech and the atmosphere there. Lubbock at night is going to is a weird place. I think they're going to be getting after it. I think that home field is going to make a difference. I think it might have been just a little bit of a look ahead for last week up in up in Corvallis for the Red Raiders. It does concern me a little bit that they did have that wild card, well wild package rather. Tommy Castlinos in there, which get to make much sense. Are they trustworthy? You could put me in a bad spot. I really did. Don't say it. I said it. Okay. But that was a horrible loss. Yes. You can't lose that game. You beat that team 69 to three. I think it was last year.

33:04And you go on that. I expected them. I think we might have talked about it last week. Maybe they get maybe you start slow because of the early kick and then you get into it. But for a defensive line that's supposed to be one of the best defensive lines in the country, they get you couldn't get a stop. The offensive line looked very problematic. It looked like an issue there with two new coordinators where maybe he's kind of regretting. Some of those high-risk down to more has been sporadic. There have been some reports that maybe he's a little beat up and allegedly had a hamstring issue, which I don't know about. But that was a, is it going to be maybe a wake up loss like Ohio State had in 2014 when you lost a game to Virginia Tech is a big favorite at home and then you go on and win the national tie. I don't know. They'll win by a million over a reporting state. I would expect. But that game next week USC really determines their fate like they have to win that game.

34:06Or else then you're putting yourself in a position where you're going to have to win at Ohio State at the end of the year to make the college football playup. So that's going to be an interesting spot next week in the Coliseum organ at USC. I would look ahead and line on that game. I remember was an organ minus 10 and now I believe it's a candle. It's now to 1 1 and a half or so. So hopefully if you you bought some USC early on, you're in a great spot. But yeah, I'm, I'm befuddled by organ. I thought they had the fewest amount of questions of any team coming into the country. Cheshire Schwartz, my co-host on Bearbats, watches the offensive line religiously and he did not like what he saw there. So right. At least Ohio State had at least Ohio State can justify, hey, had a good loss. It's against Texas. It's on the road. It was a close game. Orget landing needs to hope that Oklahoma State is good for the remainder of the year. Right? And that's a thing. Or Oklahoma State was a team that people thought could kind of be a little bit

35:06of a dark or sleeper contender in the big 12 and they lost to Tulsa the week before. Everyone's like, oh my god, or Oklahoma State must absolutely stink. And I think that was added to the total shock for you. But I'm glad you brought up Ohio State because I don't know how you can downgrade off of that game. It was a game they should have been leading by a hell of a lot more going into half time. A couple of empty red zone trips and short field goals. And they led for the majority of the game. Right. And get tired out late like 370 Euro drives because kind of got manhandled late in that heat. So maybe that's a concern. But I don't know. To me, that game counts like a half loss. Right. Even it's a tie break at the end of the year. Yes. But not in there. Nine and three and someone else is 10 and two or like Ohio State gets the edge for going down there playing. I will say there is a situation with Ohio State where this Julian saying maybe have a big game problem. But you look at that game. He missed some throws. You look at the you

36:11look at the Indian you look at the Indiana game. And the big 10 championship game was not great. Miami was not great. So like he's going to have to win one of these games. I think, or you don't necessarily have to be a superstar. You don't have to be at your best. You just have to go out and play a play. Play fine. And he had a couple of issues. So that that might be a little bit of a storyline as the season goes on. But Ohio State like clearly they install well in control of their playoff destiny. Well, get to your picks in a second. But I don't think this week, the hype trains filling up on the Bulldogs. And Camario Taylor is now a name that everybody knows quarterback. Probably a little bit of a bad spot for them going to South Carolina who gets their best defensive player, Dylan Stewart back. Lennara Sellers is showing a little bit more of the running game ability that he showed a couple of years ago that made him a very highly thought of quarterback. This feels like a really good spot for South Carolina, laying three and a half. I like them. All right. The play Northwestern is school near and dear to your heart.

40:14Yeah. Laying three and a half against Colorado. Colorado had that big win in Atlanta against George Tech earlier in the year. I think what we're going to see is the year goes on that might be more of a reflection on George Tech than it was Colorado. Certainly you control the line of scrimmage around the ball a little bit better, but Northwestern in that running game. I think they can have success against Colorado. So I laid the three and a half with Northwestern there. I like that they're decent team. They just extended their head coach. But yeah, they are decent team. I like that at home. Yes. Go ahead. I like Maryland plus the three against Virginia Tech. Another one of those underrated hate type games. James Franklin bringing Virginia Tech to Maryland. And I'm going to take Florida State plus the points against Alabama.

Alabama had that great second half in Kentucky last week. Nobody wants a piece of Florida State right now with how they played. And that loss against us and you, the fans are booing Mike Norbell on the team. Alabama, of course, is going to blow them out after losing Florida State last year. Just seems like a lot of points here. It does seem like a lot of points here. Everyone is just assuming that Alabama is going to win this game by three, four touch counts. And they might. But I think Florida State will hang around just to look at Chroma and the running game is they've been pretty good. No action. And it's can't throw work the lick. Yes. So that that'll be a big problem. You're not saying Florida State's going to win. You're saying Alabama a little bit of a letdown spot. They're going to win. Not just not cover the spread. So those are my two favorite games that we, and I think, I think I'd like the Houston Texans as well as a bronze metal play. And Cincinnati, and not just because you hear of this injury report about burrow, but like the Bengals, that shouldn't have been a game last week with Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay, just turned the ball over a million times. And if they turn it over once instead of four times, they probably go to Cincinnati and Wednesday. I think my bucks might be a little bit overrated or a little, yeah, bucks a little underrated. I think at this point, the Bengals might be a little bit overrated coming off of that winning. You never want to say, oh, it's a must win. It's do or die week two.
