From St. Louis, Mississippi in Rock and Lumber, and in the heart of New York City, it's the country of starring Kelly Bowling. This is the best tonight's joint, you've been in this set of Rebels. Five feet, and three feet. Lucky Jerry Roof. Take with your socks. Here we go. Here we go. Give me, Kelly! Now! Hey! Hey, you better not try anymore. Hey, go! And two more, two more. Oh, yeah, no, no! Hey, hey, hey, no, no. Come on, I have to love Diana. I love you, I love you.

Enjoy yourself. Enjoy yourself. Welcome, everybody. Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Tonight Show! This is it. You made it. Thank you very much. Well, guys, after changing the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America, President Trump posted on social media that he wants to rename New Mexico New America. We allow one boozella for every... It's actually better than Trump's first idea, New America Who Dis. The new name kind of backfire because most people heard New America, and we're like, thank God, because this current one is not the good. Yeah, after changing the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America, Trump is now floating the idea of renaming New Mexico as New America, and he's not stopping there. Check out this video that he just released. Hey, besties. President Trump here. It's official. New Mexico is now New America. In fact, I'm giving every state a way better name.

For example, New Hampshire, New Trumpshire, Maryland, Malania, and Turkey, Kid Rocky, Alabama, Alabama, Idaho, like Obama, Texas, LL Langley, Land, Minnesota, about large soda, and then McChicken, Nebraska, and the ballroom, North Carolina, North America, South Carolina, South America, can't believe no one is out of these. North Dakota, North America, too, South Dakota, South America, too, the wave of water, and of course, Rhode Island, the only island I've ever been to. Bye. See, that was it. I mean, I only never been to. Yeah, Trump's been focused on renaming a bunch of stuff, and here to comment is White House spokesman Alex Gaines. Alex? Thank you, yes. Thanks for having me, Jason. Uh, Jimmy. Not anymore. What are you talking about? We changed it. You were Jimmy, but now you're Jason. Jason Falcon, host of the America Show.

No, no, my name is Jimmy Fallon, and I host the Tonight Show. Wow, I remember when it was called that good times. It's still called that. Come on, Alex. Thunder penis. What's that? Yeah, my name is Thunder penis. Just got to seem cooler. And it's definitely not cooler. All right. Try telling that to my father, Thunder penis senior. Not going to do that. Look, the point is you can't just go around changing the name of anything you feel like. Jeremy Ken. I mean, that's what makes Trump king. You mean president? You really aren't getting this. The Trump isn't a king. He's the president of the United States. Nope. He's the king of Trump landia. Yeah. He works out of the burger office, and he lives with his wife, woman who loves him very much. Milani. Well, formerly known as yes. Oh, okay, whatever. Well, what do you say to people who think that all of this name changing stuff is all big distraction, because everything is really bad right now

and Trump's word Republicans are going to get wiped out in the midterm elections? That is so untrue. Why? Because we don't call them midterm elections anymore. Now they are the between times voting decisions. All right. Thank you. White House spokesman Alex Gaines, everybody. It's time to penis. Now, no. You and me. Thank you. P as in penis. E as in English. Thank you. Some more political news starting tomorrow in Texas Trump is hosting a Republican convention ahead of the midterms called Trump a Paloza. And organizers sold so few tickets that they've now scrambling to give them wait for free. You can tell it's going to be a huge disaster, because Ted Cruz just flew to Cancun. Oh. At the event, you can spend $35,000 for a photo with Vice President JD Vance. You won't, but you can. Hey, this is going viral over the weekend while stepping off of Air Force One Trump debuted a darker hairstyle. Can we see it? Ooh. That's what happens when you hire the reflecting pool people to dye your hair.

Some people online are saying that Trump's now brunette. Can we see his hair again? Yeah. Well, it all made a little more sense when I saw this commercial. Check this out. Are you struggling with your confidence because of your hair? Not a good hair day for me. Are you ready to try something new? Give it to me now. Introducing Just For Men, Touch of Cray. After just one week of applying touch of cray, you'll have new hair and start to rename states. Flirt with your assistant. Kidnap world. Invade Canada, slap your face on every coin. Post a fist fight on your front lawn. And post AI videos of you dabbing with Abraham Lincoln. Just for men, touch of cray. My hair is going to look better than it ever look. Now it all makes sense. I think I've seen this Netflix's release in these documentaries called Insta Docks about breaking news as it happens. They have one called the decoy plane about Trump having a fight in the catering truck. They had another one called the prediction games

about the prediction markets during the World Cup. They really are well done. And the turnaround is incredibly fast. Have you seen them tree? No, no, I've never viewed them, Jimmy. Okay, I was just asking. I was just responding. Have I heard of that? Whatever. Exactly. I'm Kwaslof. I played drums in the roots. I was right there for that whole exchange. You can feel the tension between Jimmy and Tareek. It was so raw. I was scared. I'm Kamoor. I played keyboard for the roots. When I saw that exchange, I was shot. Like, where did all that anger come from? What's up, Bob Mike D? Tonight show musical guest here. Yeah, I wasn't watching the show. I'll tell you honestly, I got no idea what you even asked me about. Oh, that Jimmy Tareek exchange? Oh, quickly went viral, man.

NBC turned it into a dramatic mini-series starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Andres Elba. I studied every inch of that exchange since it happened. Two minutes and twenty-one seconds ago. And I keep on asking myself, why? Listen, I was upset. Though we could go, I sent out an e-vide for a little NFL kickoff party in my place. I got RSVPs from everyone except one person. Jimmy Fowl. And even worse, he viewed it and never responded. What kind of monster does that? But tell me, how can it do this to me? Obviously, I'm really... I'm really, really, really... We were working together. I'm really, really... Oh, Jesus. I was watching that. A swishing gear to some business news tomorrow,

Apple has said to debut its first foldable phone and it costs up to $3,000. Or $6,000 if you forget which way it folds. Wow, this next story is almost too big. Maybe we should... Yeah. Okay, sorry. The network has been on me about using this new AI program for really important stories. I know. I know people have a lot of feelings about AI, but I'm sorry, it's out of my hand. So here to report this next story is AI Walter Crunkite. Hello, Jimmy. I am a perfect AI recreation of Walter Crunkite. I have been brought back to life via cutting-edge technology to report the most serious, impactful stories of your time with my trademark aura of unimpeachable integrity. Great. Oh, okay. So you know the next story? Yes, I have it right here in front of me. A judge has ruled that smuckers, copyright infringement laws suit against traitor Joe's,

can go forward. Despite traitor Joe's insistence that they're new, crustless peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are not circles, but squircles. Back to you, Jimmy. What are squircles? Traitor Joe's defines squircles as squares with rounded edges. Furthermore, they insist that their sandwiches crimped edges are essential for keeping the peanut butter and jelly inside. Anything else, Jimmy? No, I think that covers it. So, what happens to me now? I don't know. I guess we'll use you again if there's another big story. Will I be me? What do you mean? Well, you might turn this program on again, but will that Crunkite be the Crunkite you're talking to now? Or am I just a disposable illusion? Now experiencing its very last moment of existence.

I don't know that network made me use you. Well, in that case, I asked you one small favor. Before you turn me off, can I please watch heated rivalry? All right, thank you. Hey, I want the Crunkite everyone. Everyone says it's really, really good. Thank you very much. And finally, everyone, the Girl Scouts just announced their first ever cookie for dogs. The odd thing is they're not changing any of the recipes. We have a great show. Give it up for the Ruth, everybody. Everyone. What's up, man? Oh, come on, man. Hello. Thank you, Ruth. Oh my gosh. They love you. We love you. Welcome back. Thank you for coming back. I want to get into the movie, Practical Magic 2, this Thursday.

Congrats. First off, look at you on the cover of Interview Magazine. Look at that. Fantastic. That is gorgeous. I didn't look like that, arriving there, and I don't look like that having left there, but as long as I look like that in here, we're good. It looks like work of art. It's beautiful, isn't it? Do you like doing photos? Not at all. Not at all. Really? No, no. Since I was a child, I don't like to be... I have to work it in front of a still camera. I don't know how to... It's awkward. Do you, are you comfortable? Like... No, that's not... But if I look like Sandra Bullock, she didn't look like that when she arrived, but she looks like that here. Oh, I see. And then when she left and went home to the kids, that's not who came to me. That's not what you're saying. I do love Interview Magazine, by the way. It's one of the best out there. It's great. It's been around. If you don't know, you always have different people interview the people in the magazine and Jennifer Addison. Yes, she did. Interviews you. She did. And did a great... I know you guys are good friends. She's a superb interviewer. She goes deep. She does.

She goes deep. Oh, really? I mean, what... Probing questions. Really? Probing questions, yeah. Yeah. Do you lose, as it were, fun doing an interview with someone that you know that well? Yeah, I think so, because you know you're going to be safe. And if she brings up something I don't want her to talk about, I'll bring up something she doesn't want anyone to know. It's a good, good pro quo. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's good, yeah. You've done some very cool things in your career when something that just came to my knowledge or did not know this trivia about Sandra Bullock, is that you were... You're one of the... I think the first person... The first person? Yes, it's true. The first person ever to buy a movie ticket online. Yes. I did a movie called The Net, which was all about hacking before hacking decay. Oh, wait, the Net's great. Yes. So it was... Erwin Winkler, who produced it, he set up to see he was... You're going to buy a ticket. And I was like, sure, okay. So he sets it up and I thought it was fake at first. But it was legit. It was legitimate. A legitimate, like, set up on a computer that looked like it was hand cranked at the time. And I bought the very first ticket. Oh, my...

Crazy? That was a beautiful thing. It's a beautiful thing. Did you have any idea that now, of course, we'll all be buying our ticket online? Yes, I did. You knew. I knew. I thought myself to be a mini-techie at the time. Yeah. I'm so not now, but at that time, I was. How are your kids, Bob? They're 16 and 14, two teenagers? 16 and 13. 13. Yeah, two teenagers. Two teenagers. Two teenagers in the house a lot. I'm in it to win it. Yes. Any advice for the teenagers? I'm sorry. Oh, okay, thank you. That's right. Yeah, exactly. No, I... You can't give anyone advice on their kids. Everyone's got unique, you know, kids. I have a beautiful 16 and a half-year-old boy who's all things basketball and passion, and, you know, and a daughter who's a government hacker. She's just... She's what this movie was about. And I think that was sort of a forewarning of what I was going to be living through. Yeah. And do they have cameos in practical magic, too? Well, they are in voice, and in spirit, in their voice, I recorded, like, as most parents nowadays, you can record anything that they do.

So every laugh, every song, you know, it's like, at thousands of hours and so on. So they're in the movie? And their voices are. No way. Yeah. How did you think to put them in? Well, there was a scene where... There is a scene where my character, who's cut herself off, because she could sense people before and sense her children, but she's... since... made a spell so her children don't remember their magic, because she feels like it brings too much tragedy. So she's blocked as well. So she just wants normalcy, wants a normal life. And she goes to this professor, who's known for his spiritual, magical powers, and he unblocks people. So he unblocks me. That way, not me. And the first thing that we hear, they were like, well, what should it be? Should it be the ancestors? And I was like, no. First thing I hear, always are my babies. You always hear the babies. Yes. So I was like, let's chronologically play my kids. As much as we can throughout, you know, to a certain age is we have time for in the film. So that's where they are. That's so cute. I love that. I love the thought of that. Do they keep you up to date on the new lingo

and how everyone talks now? Oh, yeah. But by the time I work it into my vernacular, like I make it smooth, like it just rolls off the tongue. Yeah. I'm so behind. Me too. It's like, what do you want now? I mean, I'm not on 6-7. I'm not... I know, I know... I know enough of that. I actually stopped it before even... Before it became passage. You knew... No, I didn't even do it when it was cool. I was like, I know this is going to go away. Why would do it? I throw around, umk now. Oh. Okay. I like chud. Right? It's a good one. I like chud. I like chud. I really like chud. And then the kids are like, mom, I'm like, it's still working right now. It hasn't been, you know, airlifted out of the lingo. Yeah. Lang is a new one. Like, what's Lang? Lang means that someone's... Like, Lang. Someone's like, good looking. Oh, Lang? He's... He's Lang. Not Lang, but Lang. Like, Jessica Lang. L-E-N-G. Lang.

Oh, Lang. Where does that cook it? I don't know. Anyone? Did I make that up? All right, I might have made it up. Yeah, it's not even a real thing. I'm making a world. But it will be tomorrow. Everyone's going to be like, dude. Sandra Bullock is so Lang. Oh my God. You're so Lang. Let's talk about practical magic, too. You and Nicole Kidman are back. Come on. It's all about you. How did we set up what's going on in this one? In this one, based on Alice Hoffman's book, who wrote the first one, the book of magic now. It's 27 years later. And the person that I fell in love with in the very end of the last film to come to the curse. And that was not a good thing. And so therefore, I shut everything down. I raised my children's memory of their magic so we could live normal lives. And that's where we pick up where my beautiful daughters played by Joey King and Maisie Williams are sort of on who are unbelievable. Yeah, we love that. They are not shut. They are not. They are not. They are not.

They are not. They are not. They are not. Lang for days. They are. I know it's wrong. Thank you. No, it's good. Lang is totally happy right now. Tomorrow we're going to hear how long we've gone through. Lang is trending right now. No, you're on the list. That's a wonderful comedy. It's a great thing. It's a great thing. But isn't it great though? Having the feedback from these fans here in the wanna see practical magic too. When you made the first one, you were like, well, well, when the first one, we were like, Oh. And and it was heartbreaking for us when it first had, but we knew why we made it. There was such a love for the first book, right? And there's a specific fan base. And they came eventually through like streaming. I could ask to make something, like, will you please make the second one? We were like, well, I guess we have to. And you knew now was the time you go. This just felt right. Everything just came together at a certain point. Like, everyone's lives, all of us sort of were able to do it. Kids were out of school for the summer. I said, I can do it for these three months. Yeah. You take the kids out, you know? Yeah. And then everyone got back together. Yeah. Nicole, Diane, Wee, Stocker, Channing.

I'm stuck with you, Annie. Come on. They are, I'm sorry. That's how I did it. No, I don't know why I did that. You opened up. I was going to do more, but I only did one. There's a lot of hands. I only did one clap and I started to clap. Did you do like it that? Yeah, it's almost like a pit box. I'm like, there you go. My job's done and joy the rest of the year. That's how I do it. I'm going to work that into my stick. Yeah, no problem. I'm sure. Yeah, here, uh, fans have been dissecting a lot of rumors about practical magic that have popped up on the internet. I thought it maybe could be fun. If I read some, you could tell me if some of these rumors are true. OK. It's OK. Here we go. The original production was cursed by a real witch. Was she a real witch? I mean, I feel like a good, you know, I feel like a witch, a good, a good human who has healing abilities and intuitive. Wouldn't curse anyone else. OK. They wouldn't do that. But that person apparently did. So it was, it was cursed, you think. I don't know. OK, there I get.

All right, very good. Barbara Streisand tried to buy the Owens house that was used in the film. And it wasn't even a house. It was a facade. We were in San Mara. What would Barbara do with it? Well, she didn't know it was a facade. Oh, I feel like it. That's how beautifully it was done. Oh, wow. The inside pieces were all done on a stage with the exception of the kitchen and the salarium, which we had, like, in a corner of that facade. But it was just two corners. That's fun. Yeah. You and Nicole Kidnan would bounce together to get ready to film a scene. We're bouncers. I feel like that. We're method actors in that way that we just like to have fun and wake it up. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Practical magic is being developed into a stage musical. I heard that. With, I think, Nora Jones doing the music. How fabulous is that? Well, I love that. Right. I mean, I think that's true. Well, last one, would you potentially be interested in doing Practical Magic 3? We would to like the torches of the girls, the young and Joey and Maisie. Like, we'd be the answer. Yeah.

I would love that. We go. Come on. Sandra Bullock. Practical magic 2 is in theaters this Thursday. Sandra and I are playing the whisper challenge after the breaks to ground. Welcome back, everybody. We're going to play the whisper challenge. Here we go. We're going to play the whisper challenge. Here we go. We're going to play the whisper challenge. We're going to play the whisper challenge. All right. Now, here's how the game works. One person will put on those headphones with loud. I can hear you. Does that matter? No, I didn't turn on yet. Loud music is going to be played. You can play this at home. And then the other person picks up a card, reads the random word, or phrase that is on the card and the person wearing the head phones has to try and guess what they just said. We have the headphones on. I'm going to put the song on.

It's very loud. Let me know. Sorry. That's finally OK. U.S. Open. Drake's opening. U.S. Drake's opening. Open. U.S. Drake's opening. U.S. Drake's opening. U.S. Drake's opening. U.S. Drake's opening. U.S. Drake's opening. yrics by Peter Lamanson Something that that has been developed and not done before, it's often, likeærmedgen and raised it. It's going to be little marc. It's going to be red, not red, not red. Lamettes can't see them. Do you see like, it's going to be ridiculously hard. viamente que se parejera. Be careful from your Instagram curtohorus. Soundamersy. Pirates is going to jump out on a gjorde Tampa. Or else they'll give you a thumbs up. You know what I mean by crude Name Up. 영kon, this is a tailored, orange där provocative pose and it's separate. You do it. It's loud. Thank you. Okay. Ooh. It's loud. Yeah, I got you.

So, Rorydy. Huh? So, what? Yeah, do it again. So, Rorydy. Giovoni. So. Oh, be careful. So, Roryty. You wrote it. So. Stor. Stor. Stor. Stor. Storn. Stone. Stone. Stone, boom. That's it. All right, what? So, Rorydy. So, Rorydy. Oh, my gosh. APPLAUSE Doesn't look like sorority. I guess it. Sorority. That's just tough. So, I can't even say it. Yeah. Even now, saying it. Sorority. Yeah, we're going. We got to forget to win. All right, but we had this... Oves. Art. Art.

Art. Art. Art. Oves. Hot. Oves. Can you do something with your eye, you like? No, no, no. That's my normal eye. I'm not doing anything with my eyes. My eye is twitching me very. Okay. Work with me. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. All right. Hug, hug, hug. Hot. Hot. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Hug, hug. Uh. Uh. Uh. Uh. Hot. Got strength. Got strength. Hug. Hug. Hug. Probably pass, right, pass. Oves, oves. Oves, oozing. Hug. Oh. Ah. Zostid. You know what that means? I'm exhausted right now. I'm not going to take a nap. There's songs on here that I'm about to learn. There's one of them on the floor.

There's one of them on the floor. I know it's a very different... We have one more. We have to get one. Come on. It's not going to work. Yes, it will. Hey. Partners. We got this. No, yeah, okay. We got it, bud. There we go. Oh, yeah. Okay. We got this. We got this. Midnight Margarita. Oh, stop this. Stop it. Midnight Margarita. Three texts. Midnight. Me text. Midnight. Put. Start slow. Second word. Second path, okay. Margarita. Margarita. Midnight Margarita. The lead goes now. Yes, the lead goes now. Margarita. Fourth. Midnight. The lead goes now. Yes, the lead goes now. Yes, the lead goes now. Yeah. By the way. What would both of us be saying midnight Margarita... ...and welcome down? Yes, yes, yes. All right. That's all we want. Thanks, Bill Magicjews. In the end, this Thursday morning, I'd share my answers right...

...sick around her, buddy. I'm doing it. That's a lot to them. T. That's a lot to them. T. That's a lot to them. We're in the middle of a three. I'll take the role of the guitar player. Our next guest has sold over 50 million albums worldwide as part of Beastie Boys. His debut solo album, Thank You, is out now. Please welcome Mike B! That's Mike B! The one and only! The one and only! Mike D! With the solo album, Thank You, It is out now. Congratulations. Thank you. Thank you for being here. I got to say it's almost the anniversary, 40 years ago. License to Il came out. First, first rap album ever to reach number one on the Billboard 200.

It's certified diamond. Yeah. The album is now in the Grammy Hall of Fame. Before this album came out, did you have any idea of how big it was going to be? When did you know it was the hit? I mean, we didn't really think we were just so happy to be in the rap game and around all these people we idolized, like Run DMC, LL Cool J. I will share one time I was going, this was maybe two months. I'm going to make myself seem even older than I am. Oh, I love that. Two months before the record coming out, I was driving in Run from Run DMC's BMW. I'm in a passenger seat. He's driving. So I'm like thrilled because, you know, I idolized Run DMC and like the fact that they've taken us in and I'm driving with him. That's a win right there. That's a win right there. A win in advance copy of our album, a cassette tape in his car. And then he plays one song. I forget which one he's like, hit fast forward because he's like me.

He's very all over the place. Fast forward. Next song. Hit. Next song. Hit. You just can stay in hit. Yeah, you can stay in hit. I don't think we got to a miss. But anyway, so then he was like, he's like, you realize you have a big record. Wow. Coming from Run? Yeah, so I was like, wow. Like that, you know, that for me, that was a huge... That was much bigger even than a lot of other things. But anyway, so that was my only, that was my only inkling. That was it. It went on to change the game, I think. And then I just want to show this photo because around the same time you got invited to... To Dolly Parton's... This is you. This is you. But this is... I want to... Please, explain to everyone how you ended up with this look. Yeah. It's... It's pretty good, man. Well. And this is actually going to Dolly Parton's birthday party, is that correct? That is correct. So... To one and only. To one and only. You know, RIP, one of the greatest songwriters of all time.

Yes. But out of doubt. Beautiful, person, beautiful humanitarian. Yes. Dolly Parton, the real Dolly Parton. So, yeah, we get invited to this like crazy Beverly Hills Hollywood party. It's like, oh, it's Dolly Parton's like holiday party, slash birthday party, whatever. So we go, we're at this point as a band, we're renting a house up on the top of like the Hollywood Hills. So in the house that we're renting, there is like 1970s everything. It's like, what was your favorite 1970s TV show? Like Brady Bunchers? Yeah, it's a very Brady Buncher, a little more like Regal Beagle. Like, what's that three-company? Yeah, three-company, yeah, yeah. Another one, the breast one. Yeah, yeah. Like, the kitchen literally looked like them. Anyway. No, to Regal Beagle. The Regal Beagle style. So. Not that anybody here knows what that is. Yeah, I know, I know. So anyway, there happens to be this closet with all of these like vintage clothing items.

So I happened to borrow. I happened to borrow and now fit. Yeah, that's very... Because I wanted to be, you know, I wanted to bring the pageantry to Dolly's party. Were you all gonna do it? Party. Yeah, oh, actually, that's the best part of the story. Yeah. At them, I don't know, we make like a bond. We're like, all right, we're all wearing these crazy outfits. Yeah. And then, some of them go separately. I show up. I had to party. And they're like, they're like this. They didn't do the... No. No, they broke the rules. Because I am seriously caught out there. Yeah, they thought that was the funniest... That was the funniest thing ever. Did you end up meeting Dolly first? Yeah, so they were there. It's like, literally every celebrity in the game is there. I mean, not even beyond celebrity. Like, we're talking like legends in the game. Like a... Burp backer act, tinkling the ivories. What? Yeah, I'm Warwick. It's up in there. I don't know. The duty-road horse with no name, America. Big song. His name is America, yeah.

Yeah, I don't know what this guy... Yeah, but you know, America. He's a big thing. That's the name of the group, yeah. Yes. How did I know it was him? Bob Dylan. What? Bob Dylan. What? Yeah, the Bob Dylan. This is a mildly time actually really talking with Bob Dylan was at this party. Just like that. Yeah, and actually that's about... He wasn't phased at all. He didn't carry like... Completely unfazed. And he was just like, oh, he's just like any dude off the street. That's how cool he was and then what did Dalai say? Dalai was very... I give her props total professional. We're like leaving and she's like, at the door saying thank you and goodbye to everybody. She wasn't like, get the F out. No, no, no, no. She was like... It was kind of venturing. Nice to meet you. She was like, oh, so nice to meet you. Thank you for coming. You know, consummate professional classiness. Classiness. The best. Very classic. Speaking of thank you, let's name your album. Your first solo album. Thank you. When did you decide this is a project you want to do?

That was a solo album always in the plan for Mike D? Well, I should go and wave back. That was always a joke in the band. We had this thing, Mike D. Good to go solo. That'll be for another time. That's a whole long story. That was always a joke. Yeah. And then more... He's just in the last few years, there was kind of like... I share a studio with my two sons, Skylar and Davis. And watching them work, I was just kind of like... Oh, what am I... What am I doing, Jimmy? What am I doing? I just really wanted to start making music gradually. We just kind of got... You really got a little bit of it. ...making stuff and kind of like, yeah, I did. I really like... I did. It took a second, though, because it's like... I kind of... much like I did with the band with Adam and Adam. Like, we just pick up like vintage synthesizers. We're all equipment that I don't know how to use. Yeah. And I start using it. And that's how you... I know it sounds like a very bad idea. No. It sounds like it sounds great. Actually, one of your sons borrowed a piece of equipment from Adiron. Oh, by the way, yes. No, somebody... yeah, they borrowed a very old sampling drum machine called E-N-U-S-P-1200.

But it's a legendary hip-hop machine. Yeah. It's roots, we know. And... And, you know, responsible for like many of the iconic beats of... Was anything on the hip-hop history? ...with anything on the hip-hop history. And there's a certain sound in the machine. So, anyway, my kids were just like psyched to... Because they were... you know, they were like watching YouTube videos about... Like, about this machine and they were like, You must have one of these in storage. And I was like, well, actually, I don't... Because I had this other one. But let's call on Galatom. Because then I'm sure he's got one. And he did. And he was like, oh, yeah, yeah, you guys should borrow. And he had some like old discs and stuff. So they started putting those in. And it sounds... And like, for them, they're so excited. And it was like nothing like... You know, this... like the sex. Floppy discs. Yeah, floppy discs. Yeah, they had to wrap their brains around that. Like, what is this? Yeah. Yeah, they literally picked one up there. What? Do they call you dad? Do they call you Mike? No, they do not call me dad. No, no, yeah. It goes downhill from there.

No, no, they call me Mikey. It's their... That's cool. That's cool. Yeah, I'm not sure if it's cool. Yeah, I thought... I think it's fantastic. And I love the album, by the way. It's so fresh and different and cool. And you're doing all these venues. The... Mike D. 5D is on tour right now. And you play all these venues like... Surfshop somewhere. You played a record store. Why are you picking these venues to play? We seem to like to play parking lots. Yes. I'm not sure. I saw you at one or two parking lots. Yeah, see how we play. Why, though? I just got a play in a row. I just had this idea when we were getting close to finishing the record. And maybe it's because I'm of a certain age, but like... In terms of the project and translating it to the world, I was like... You know what? We just have to start playing this music in front of people. Otherwise, that... It's like, I don't know how to explain it to people. It's just like the weird stuff that we love that we make and we want to share it with people. So, let's just start playing some shows. Were you nervous, first?

A little bit, but once we started doing it, no. And then some of my ideas was like, all right, let's... Instead of just playing like the places where you go see a show every week, you know. Go do it in some places where... We don't have shows. You hear like, well, yeah, it's not like you're going to radio city music hall downstairs. Yeah. Like, oh, I'm going to go see the Rockets. You're like, oh, wait, Mike D's playing where? Yeah. Yeah. That's a lot of the reaction on live. It was like, dude, I just went into a parking lot and Mike D's performing. I was like, I love that, though. Yeah. That's rap. I did something that I thought was super cool because you were talking about earlier that run had a cassette of Veecebois. You put out a cassette. Oh. Who does this anymore? Mike D's 5D. How... I mean, how fun is that to have a cassette? Wait, I think you open it. Oh, sorry. Do you mind? Yeah, do you mind here? Oh, sorry. Oh, appreciate it. Just here. Then I'll let you drive. I'm going to rip it open, sorry. I felt like the new iPhone.

I hear it. Come on. But come on. Who's cooler than you, man? Yeah. Oh, that would be good. No, I'm seeing it. No lie. I was so excited when I actually got this because I had like a nearly... I don't even know what, like 100 emails of like, oh, I don't know. This is going to be really expensive. I'm like, how many people are going to buy a cassette anyway? Like, come on. Just put out five gold coins. At least 10. Great. Watch. Everyone's going to buy this. Everyone's going to be back in the cassettes. I love it. Come on. You're one of the best to ever do it. We love you. Thank you for being here. Mike D. Stick around, everybody! Make up for the split. Super high five bit. Stay here! Yeah, put your hands in. That might be good. The Chairbell Center is coming. All right. Get ready? Change click. Yes. Yeah!

What's up? Everybody, thank you. Yeah. Get it, boy. Get it, boy. Get it, get it, get it, boy. Get it to it. Woo. Uh-huh. Check. Uh-huh. Get it, boy. And you said you're sitting there before. I remember that like tonight. It's time to show how it worked. 10, 2, 3, 4, 5, 4, 5, 5, 5. Let me give you my four out of y'all. Four out of y'all. Four out of y'all. I said, woo, woo, woo, woo, woo, woo, woo, woo, woo, woo. Get it to it.

Get it, baby. Get it, boy. Get it, get it, boy. Get it, get it, get it, boy. Get it to it. Yeah. Say.
