It's time for week three. And whether you're two and oh or oh and two, the season is still very young.

And it's important to not lose focus as there are still a lot of games ahead of us. I'm John McRey. And for this episode of the IDP show, I'll be going game by game, breaking down all of the relevant IDP information to help you guys get your lineup set locked and ready for week three. So let's get it. All right. Plenty to go over. As per use this week, I'm going to do my best to kind of cover it all as best as I can. Like I said, we're still super early in the year. So sample sizes of who these players are and what these matchups can be are still very much growing. It's far from perfect, I guess, but this is, I guess, the most armed that we can be at this moment and we'll only continue to build on that as the year goes on, right? Where we're essentially Samus in every Metroid game ever, right? Where we're early game here.

We've got to get all of our power up still. We basically just have the morph ball at this point. Like it's something, but it's not enough to beat the game here. So we got to keep going. We got to keep collecting the power that we need, which is the information and data that is relevant to these players and these matchups. And week three is just another step toward that. So make sure you're locked in here. We're going to go through everything as much as I can. I'll put the matchup data up as always. But again, don't take it as gospel, right? That's basically what I'm trying to say. Like this is still somewhat unreliable information to work off. And we're going to bank on more of the usage for these players, which I'll cover as much as I can, which does tend to be a little bit more trustworthy for what we should expect rest of season. But again, still early, not perfect. But quickly, again, if you want to dive into the usage yourself and every IDP from this past week to see how these players were utilized, make sure to check out the IDP report on the IDP show.com. I will link that in the episode description. And there's waivered targets in there analysis by me.

Everything that you could really need to recap the past week in IDP is in that IDP report. So make sure you check that out. And then you can also check out my week three IDP rankings, which I'll also link in the episode description. Okay, now that you've been kind enough to listen to me pedal my wares here for a bit, or maybe you skip through it, which how dare you. But no, either way, we can move on to week three, starting with Thursday night football, or wherever you guys want to start, since the time stamps are in the episode description. So obviously hop around as you please. But for me, I'll start with Atlanta and Green Bay on Thursday night football. And we'll start with the Falcons NPCs along their defensive line, kind of get them out of the way real quick here. But Samson, Ebu Cam is now injured. And considering it's a short week, I just have a hard time imagining that he'll suit up for this one. So Zadaria Smith did see a bigger snap increase this past week, because Ebu Cam left the game about a quarter of the way through, which should keep Zadaria Smith probably in play for deeper formats

against really an awful offensive line for the Packers that has allowed Jordan love to be sex seven times already through the first two games. I still have a hard time trusting anyone in Atlanta, but the matchup is at least one of the best ones to take advantage of. So it'd probably be Zadaria Smith and Gervon Dexter in D.T. required leaks. At linebacker, it's still just a Vinty Ablo for non-shallow leaks. He's wearing the green dotties, playing every snap. Just hasn't really been great so far. Last week was a complete dud. He did come off the field for garbage time. So it wasn't really like a true full games workload for him last week. But still, two tackles is rough. He's more of an LB4 for me this week. And then Kendall Daniels remains just a deep league option with his 60-ish percent snap share. At defensive back, Xavier Watts did get at least a little bit more production as a tackler last week. Thanks to that good usage that we talked about. But him and Jesse Bates will still be more DB2 types at best, I think, between last year and this year.

We should see them produce better with the alignments they've been getting. They're not terrible, but they haven't really been anything special either. So yeah, DB2 types for Watts and Bates. And then a cornerback, we're not really messing with much here. AJ Terrell is on IR. I don't know if we'll see Billy Bowman Jr. or not, but I'm not starting him in his first game back either. And then even his nickel replacement, it's a shared role. So nobody of interest really worth gambling on this week. For the Packers, Edren Cooper is off to a nice start. We'll start with their linebackers because, yeah, it's been great to see Cooper come up with some big plays. I think he'll cool down eventually because that usage does tend to breed volatility where he is getting work on the edge. And as a blitzer at a higher than normal rate, that's led to the upside so far. But that also will create those down weeks as well. So that being said, I like Cooper more than Zaire Franklin who continues to kind of stink up the joint, which doesn't bow well for him losing his nickname from last year in Indianapolis.

All of his teammates were calling him Zaire Stanklin, which is, you know, it's kind of messed up, but that's not me saying it. It's his teammates and likely for a variety of reasons. So he's a low end LB3 for me while Edren Cooper is a high end LB2. At defensive line, Lucas Van Ness has started the year really strong so far, especially last week, 10 tackles, one and a half sacks, 4 QB hits. He had the week one Donovan as a Rockwool week that we got all hot and bothered for. But that was also building off a really strong week one start from LVN as well. So a bit of a more encouraging sample size for him right now, which has never really been the case for him in the NFL. Like he's been mostly a dud out there with a couple outlier games here and there. But nothing much beyond that. I think I said it on the recap show on YouTube on Sunday night, but he's only had one good game in each of his first three NFL seasons where he's earned a pass rush grade above 75, because he's really not an effective pass rusher. Or at least he hasn't been. We'll see if he can obviously gain some traction now that we're talking about him

and adding him to our rosters because he does have a tougher matchup this week. Now that Michael Penex is back in the lineup, Michael Penex has typically been very good at avoiding sacks. So I'll be curious to see if that continues now that he's supposedly healthy again. But either way, I don't mind LVN as more of an edge three this week. I think it's going to be very hard obviously to replicate last week's production. But if he comes anywhere close, then he'll definitely shoot up the ranks after that. And then defense of back, Keisha Nixon in CB required leagues. We're definitely starting him. And then I've got Evan Williams as a safety two, Xavier McKinney as a safety three this week. All right, that's Thursday's game. Let's move on to the Sunday slate now, starting with the Panthers and the Browns. And obviously we're starting at the linebacker position for Carolina after a massive game from Devon Lloyd. We're obviously starting him. I had him in the top six last week. He's my LB1 this week, not because I think he'll produce the same as he did last week. But I just can't imagine anyone possibly benching Devon Lloyd for any other linebacker this week.

Just considering the start to the season that he's had, like it would take, I would think probably the combined will power of the entire Green Lantern Core to bench Devon Lloyd after last week. So yeah, just leave him in lineups and don't expect 60 whatever points it was. But expect is still a very strong game from him. As for Bobby O'Karrake, he'll remain a deeper league play. Tyrell Dodson was in active on game day last week. So there wasn't much concern last week about O'Karrake's usage. And thanks to a pick, he ended up having a nice day, but we'll have to probably keep an eye out for Dodson. But even still prior to garbage time last week, O'Karrake's snapshot was still just around 68%. So very much just a deep league play only this week for Bobby O'Karrake. All right, moving to the defensive line for Carolina. Jalen Phillips, he has the potential to kind of keep that going this week against the Cleveland Browns. He's going to mostly line up against the right tackle Titus Howard, who has the worst pass blocking grade on Cleveland's offensive line with a 57.4.

And the fact that Dishon Watson is still at quarterback as well, that also kind of bodes well for him. Dishon Watson owns the sixth worst pressure to sack inversion rate in the league right now at 26.9%. Phillips with seven pressures, two sacks through the first two games. I have him as a fringe edge one this week. Derek Brown looking more like a low-end DT2 in DT required leagues. And then with Pat Jones banged up, potentially could miss another week. Travis Gibson as well, an opportunity there for a potentially bigger role for Prince Lee Oomann Mealon. He'll only be a deep league play for me this week, but it's a decent matchup. And if those other two guys are out, the Panthers might have to play Oomann Mealon at time. At defensive back, I'm definitely cooling on Trayvon Merrick. Like the first two weeks of the season haven't been great so far for him. Like the usage has been okay. Like that's not really the problem here. He's just been mehrigged. And there are too many defensive backs to be hanging onto these guys if we're not feeling it after two weeks. Like Nick Scott also suffered an injury last week as well.

So Lathen Ransom replaced him, though he mostly played deep. But if Scott is out, then Lathen Ransom could be a deep league option. If needed. And then at corner back, there's nothing I'm crazy about here. JC Horn is getting some work in the slot. But so is everyone on this team, it seems like it's a bit much. If you're asking me and not to slot Shane Carolina, I get it. But let's pick one and stick with it. So we can have at least one solid IDP option here because it's like it's Isaiah Simmons. It's Will Lee. It's a Caleb Evans. JC Horn, like everyone getting a turn on this slot in Carolina. So just going to stay away from that situation for now for the Browns. I want to start with their defensive line because Jared verse his start to the season hasn't been good. It's not been encouraging. That's for sure. He's managed just one single pressure through two games and not a whole lot else to be excited about. So he is mostly going to line up against the left tackle Rashid Walker, who has been among the better pass blockers in the league 76.9 pass blocking grade.

That ranked 16th Bryce Young is also among the better quarterbacks in the league so far at preventing pressures from turning into sacks. He ranks eighth in that regard. So I think with verse just how poor he's played. Like I don't have much confidence in him as anything more than a DL3 right now. And I love verse. Like I was a big believer on him heading into this year. And I don't like to bail this early. But man, I don't know if it's just playing for the Browns or what. But the first two games he has looked like ass. So I've dropped him down the ranks. Hopefully that motivates him. But I don't know. I'm concerned here. And then other than verse makes him Graham is at least showing promise in year two. But still more of a DT2 in in redraft right now. At linebacker, we're going to be starting Carson Schwestinger. He's going to continue to be in our lineups. We've got double digit tackles from him in both games so far. And we'll always take that. Quincy Williams meanwhile, just too inefficient to be anything other than really like a deep league starter.

He'll have his games where he blows up. But I think they'll just be way too rare to expect on a weekly basis. And then defensive back, Grant Delpit and Ronnie Hickman are just fine starting safety options. Nothing special here. Delpit got a sack last week, which is cool and all. But I don't know. That don't impress me much. Miles Harden though, I talked about him last week as a potential streaming option. Even though he did nothing in week one, I doubt anybody but me actually listened to me on this one because it was a weird one. But he had a really nice game. He led the Browns in IDP production in big three scoring in week two. Thanks to a pick and five tackles as that primary nickel corner. He played 86% of the snaps in a good matchup. That's why I try and highlight these matchup based guys. So hopefully you see be required folks be listening. This week the Panthers are a slightly above average matchup. Not terrible by any means. So Harden is still playable here for sure. All right, Seattle, Washington is up next. We'll start with the defensive line for Seattle because it seems like it'll be Marcus Mario de

at quarterback for the commanders with Jay, Jay Daniels dislocating his elbow again. So this offensive line is already not great. And now we get a backup quarterback to go after. I like the potential for this Seattle pass rush. Leonard Williams is going to be the top option of the bunch. Derek Hall, Byron Murphy, Deep Leagues might even look at the Marcus Lawrence and Orrin Uchena and Wo Su. Like there's potential here for a lot of sacks. So I'd be happy with my Seattle defensive lineman in this one. At linebacker, both Ernest Jones and Drake Thomas continued as full-time linebackers in week two. Not a surprise for Ernest, though I will be interested to see if Thomas remains full-time as Nick M. and Wari snapped kind of ramp up. I'm not sure how much they'll ramp up, which we'll talk about in a sec. But I think as Seattle has the options for more defensive backs, I worry that that means that Thomas's workload will be affected. So I've got Thomas's more of a deep league play this week just in case. And then Ernest obviously is in a great spot as usual. Definitely happy to start him as a high-end play. And then defensive back.

So here's where we can talk about Nick M. and Wari. So I really am just trying to be patient with M. and Wari for this week after seeing him really slowly eased back into action in week two. He played just nine defensive snaps. So he's obviously going to play more than that this week. I just wouldn't be surprised to see Seattle continue to kind of ease him back in after just undergoing like a late offseason surgery, right? And the fact that they played him so little in that first game back does kind of concern me enough. So ideally, we'll get a better idea this week about whether we should feel comfortable starting him. But for now, I'm really not risking him playing like 50% of the snaps. Again, a deep position where we have more than enough options to replace him for the time being. So the other defensive backs for Seattle, I'm absolutely fine with. Julie and love absolutely definitely start him. Devin Witherspoon, probably starting him in most CB required formats. It's really just M and Wari right now that I think we have to be patient with until we see it. I know we're all excited about getting him back into our lineups.

But I just don't want to see him get like 50% of the snaps. And then everyone losing their minds about him having a shit day, right? Like if he gets 100% of snaps and looks good, it's okay. If we miss out on that production again, there's plenty of DBs who can produce. Similarly, if you have them, I don't think he's going to go ape shit in his first real game back because last week doesn't count. So would just be patient is all. Let's go to Washington next and start with their linebackers because man, was I disappointed in sunny styles last week, even when as far as to make up a cringe worthy nickname for him on the recap show, which I just won't repeat because it's some bargain bin level dad joke that came to me at like 1 a.m. while recording that episode. But I was annoyed. That's for sure. Like surely as much as you guys were who were all asking is styles even playing. And he was 100% of the snaps, but a three measly tackle game is it's pretty putrid. So if Frankie Lovoo is out again this week, which definitely feels possible, then styles will have a shot at redemption here.

I'm not nearly as hopeful and optimistic as I was last week that that version of me is dead now. We we unalive that MF in the wee hours of Monday morning. And now I'm just an anxious ball of nerves really to see him be better because I really like styles, but I have concerns here with this usage where he's blitzing a ton 41% of his passing down. And that's going to sap that tackle production quite a bit. But I don't hate his chances of landing a sack this week. So there's that at least. And then for Leo Chanel, he played 82% of the snaps last week, which was and more as a typical offball linebacker as well, which is why he had the better tackling performance than styles. So he'll be in option this week if Frankie Lovoo is out again. If Lovoo is back, we can just avoid this mess if we can. Defensive back for the commanders. Another player that IDP managers are probably irked by Nick Cross. Very much like Merrick in Carolina. The usage is still very good. But if we're not feeling the production, then we might be able to find better options.

And also, if you're getting burned by Cross before you draft it, and because you draft it, I'm highly used that as a lesson to not draft DBI high again next year. Please, I think he'll be fine for what it's worth. I have him as a high end safety to this week. And if we're going to trust the tackles allowed data, Seattle is at least providing a bit more to the position with the sixth most to the safety position. So defensive line, nobody that I'm really interested in here in this matchup as Drew Locke has at least been decent at avoiding sacks. If you're picking someone from this group, you may as well pick a number on the roulette wheel because it's a heavy rotation with Odafe Owe, Charles Omenichu, Doran Sarmsstrong, Caleb von Chason. It's a mech-rigo round of mid on the edge. The middle is a bit better of that defensive line with Ron Penajavon-Kinlaw, since they're more clear starters, but still very, very mid in Washington. Next up, Kansas City and Miami, defensive line for the Chiefs. This is overall a very good pass rush matchup for the Chiefs defensive line.

I know George Carloftus has been quiet this year so far, but I'm still treating him as an edge to this week with a real chance to bounce back. The issue is that he'll mostly be lining up against the left tackle, Patrick Paul, who has been the lone bright spot on this offensive line. It's not as easy of a matchup as it seems here on paper, but Carloftus is playing well. He's got four QB hits and six pressures through two games, just no sacks yet. Malik Willis obviously is willing to hold the ball for a long time. There's opportunity here for Furious George and Chris Jones. Really, the rotation of pass rushers in that edge two spot, which was a very even split last week between Felix and Duké Yuzama. Armace and Thomas and Ashton Geladi. A really another spin of the roulette wheel in guessing who gets home from that trio. At linebacker, we got a nice Nick Bolton bounce back game after a quiet week one and nothing wrong with him in our lineups as expected. And then Drew Trank will probably a little bit more for Deep Relieks, but he too is perfectly fine play essentially not leaving the field.

And then defensive backs. We'll see if Chimari Conner is back or not this week. If he's not, Jaden Hicks is getting some great usage in that spot. He played 63% of his snaps in the box last week. That's very high and he was productive because of it. So if Conner is back then abandoned ship on Jaden Hicks, but if not, then take a swing on Hicks here as a potential safety too with ideal usage. And then CB required leagues. It's still a luxurious need. Had a really solid game last week, seven tackles and a pass break up. He's getting targeted a ton as well. He's playing a decent amount of snaps. Miami is slightly above average in terms of 11 personnel right. So there should be enough there for us to need to be a strong start once again this week. In Miami, starting with their linebackers, we're definitely still starting the Rod Fother and Jordan Brooks as well. I know last week was very quiet for them, but not every game is going to be a banger. I've got no real concerns here heading into week three that they won't be strong starts for what it's worth. The chiefs have allowed the second most tackles to the linebacker position so far this year.

At defensive line, chop Robinson missed last week's game with a concussion, which really just left Josh Uche as the only real option on the edge. Chop should be back this week, but both him and Uche are still like low end options for me this week in a tougher matchup. And same thing with Zach Sealer, more of like a DT2. At defensive back, we got some clarity on the Dolphin safety situation this past week with rookie Michael Taft taking over an every down rule. He's probably one of the better safety waiver wire targets this week because he actually had pretty solid usage with 46% of his snaps in the box. And that let him tie for the team lead in tackles last week as a result. So I'd be happy with Taft in like non shallow leagues. And then CB required leagues. Chris Johnson is still a strong start as well. A lot of the Dolphin starters sat out in garbage time last week as they got blown out. So that's why nobody really including Jacob Rodriguez and Jordan Brooks. Chris Johnson, Michael Taft, etc. None of them played 100% of snaps last week, but they're all good to go this week.

All right, onto the chargers and the Buffaloes. We'll start with the Chargers linebackers because something I'm a little concerned about is Diane Henley's usage through the first two weeks. So for two weeks in a row now, Henley has been coming off the field in certain packages and specifically against the run, which really does hurt his tackle efficiency. Because as we know, run downs can be nearly as nearly twice as efficient as passing downs in terms of tackle rate. And with Henley, as it already below average, tackler, like that is concerning for his just overall IDP value. So I put him much lower in the ranks for this week. He's basically among the lowest ranked like team LB ones right now. Because I am definitely concerned that the chargers are doing some weird stuff on defense. We talked about it in the recap show. They're doing weird stuff on offense as well. But defense specifically is what we care about here and Diane Henley's usage. And not ideal at the moment. At defensive line, the chargers, pass rushers do at least draw a difficult match up here with Josh Allen and the bills.

I'm mostly okay with Tuley as like a low-end DL2. Maybe Cleo Mack if you're desperate, but they'll swap sides throughout the games, which means that they will get their turns against the right tackle Spencer Brown, who has been pretty buns this year. He has like a 42.3 pass blocking grade. He's allowed to sit a sack in six pressures through two games. So he's the weak spot on that line. But Josh Allen is usually still pretty good at avoiding sacks most of the time. A defensive back. Derwin James broke his damn pinky and has to wear a club now for the rest of the season. I don't love how this will potentially affect his tackling. I mean, it's really not going to help unless he uses that club. Like, Barrett's wrecking ball weapon and FF7, right going from long-range gun to the melee weapon. Sometimes could be the play, but we'll see. I've still got Derwin as a DB1, but I've moved him down to like the low end of that range instead of his usual high-end range. But yeah, even with his club hand, he's the only one I'm really trusting in that charger secondary because the usage should still be pretty strong.

For the bills, let's start with their defensive line because Greg Russo is almost impossible to sit at this point. The guy has been on fire to start the year. And it's not going to be like this every week, but through two weeks, he's the Edge 1 in IDP. This week will be a real test though because he should get most of his work against the right tackle Joe Alt who has been rock solid so far this year, allowing just two pressures and no sacks through two games. So that being said, Russo is playing at an elite level right now, 90.5 pass rush grade rank second at the position. 16 total pressures is tied for second and a 30.6% win rate is the best at the position. So last week, he did face right tackle Larry Borum for the Detroit Lions who was terrible, like a bismill and week one, it was Trent Brown for the Texans who was also not very good. So this will be, I think the first real test on if Greg Russo is like a true locked-in Edge 1 going up against Joe Alt. I have him as Edge 8 this week, so I'm mostly in on him because I think he's earned

it, but again, not expecting two sacks per week every week. We have to be a little bit reasonable here. Oh, and also Dion Walker for GT required leagues. He's earned a spot in our starting lineups for sure. The guy has been excellent through two weeks. He also has the underlying pass rush metrics to back it up. The interior of that Chargers offensive line is its weakness. So could be another another nice week for Dion Walker here. And for Ed Oliver, if he's back, I know he got injured in the pregame warm-ups last week. So we'll see if he's good to go this week, but also could be a solid play in DT required formats. At linebacker for the bills, Tarell Bernard is a solid enough option this week. He's been all right through two weeks so far. No real complaints about him. Doreen Williams will be a deep league play only. He played just 57% of the snaps last week. He continues to be at least efficient with his opportunities, but not enough that I'm trusting him in the majority of IDP lineups. And then defensive back, Cole Bishop's usage has been really strong to start the year.

Like last week, he played 57% of his snaps in the box. He hasn't really been a great IDP just yet, but continued usage like that should at least help him down the road. Johnson-Garner Johnson played mostly deep and not really doing anything so far. At least has me pushing him down the ranks a bit. And then for Sweet D, offered, he has been anything but sweet so far. Nothing doing and poor matchups and usage has really kind of kept him off the field, so not expecting much different here against a Chargers offense that doesn't run a lot of 11 personnel. All right, next New York Jets and Detroit Lions. Starting with a Jets defensive line, David Bailey is another one of those hot starters through the first two weeks of the season. He's got a sack in each of his first two games. He's done so in positive matchups, which we talked about in each of the last two preview shows. I think the Jets will keep him away from Penney's stool as much as they can at Laf Tackle, because as we just talked about with Greg Russo, I'm not sure if we're expecting another Larry Borum starter not last week this week, but either way, like that is the point to attack on this

Lions defensive line, like we saw Russo do last week. And yeah, I could see David Bailey getting more work this week against Borum if he's out there. Either way, the right side of that line is the weakness, but I have him as like edge 20 this week, so solid, solid play. Linebacker, Demario Davis and Jamie and Sherwood aren't our fine starts. They both played 100% of snaps last week, so while we had a little scare of Sherwood and week one, he didn't leave the field in week two. I sure would like to see more production come from him a bit though, but they're both kind of LB3 types for me this week. I'm not totally convinced that Sherwood's not going to still rotate off in tougher matchups, but we'll see. We'll keep an eye on it here. Defensive back, TBD on if Mink if it's Patrick will be back this week or not. If not, then Andre Sisco can be an option and deeper league. Same thing with Dame Belton. Both of these guys have really terrible usage last week, nearing 80% from a deep alignment. So no, thank you. Let's move on for the Detroit Lions. We kind of have to talk about their linebackers. It's been obviously a very slow start for Jack

Campbell so far, who was if not the first linebacker drafted among the top three to start this season. So naturally, whenever this happens, a highly drafted IDP starts off slow. I get a lot of questions. And the most common question that I've got so far through two weeks is should we be concerned about Jack Campbell? And like, again, I totally understand the panic here. The return and investment isn't looking promising, but usually as much as I'm fine to move off of underperforming players, if they're not the ones that we spent valuable draft capital on, Campbell is somebody that I think because of the investment, we kind of have to stick with them and at least give him a little bit more runway because we've seen him perform at an elite level for IDP. And again, like the sample size is still very small here in 2026. Like he plays in one of the league's most man heavy defenses was playing on a short week in week two, coming off a very high 90 snap workload just four days prior.

So I think with the nice rest, this week will be a good potential to bounce back against a New York Jets offense that at least ranks top 10 in run rate this season and has allowed the ninth most tackles to the linebacker position so far. So if Campbell lays another egg this week, then we can maybe start exploring other options, but I'm still fine with Jack Campbell in most formats. Detroit's other linebacker Derek Barnes is a locked in DL2 on sleeper. Still more of an LB3 otherwise. Like I know he's been awesome to start the year, but there are a lot of kind of unstable big plays in there propping him up. I'd just be careful about valuing him much more than an LB3. We also saw a little bit more Devon White mixing in last week, though still not nearly enough to trust in really any lineups at just 45% of the snaps defensive line eight and Hutchinson every week. He's in our lineups. No questions asked. Somehow this Jets offensive line is the top graded pass blocking unit in the league so far. I truly can't believe my eyes, although Gino is still

back there needing to fulfill his fetish of being sacked. So he'll welcome the penetration of Hutch. The new LinkedIn hiring pro can't undo your last tire, the no show. At DB, it's become Chuck Clark as the last man standing already, you know, Brian Branch Kirby Joseph and now Avanti Maddox are all on injured reserve. Clark moved into an every down role in week two following Maddox's injury, which has allowed him to absorb many of the prime alignments that Maddox and Branch would have gotten in this defense. So Clark ended up playing 31% of his snaps in

the box last week and that mostly came after Maddox was out of the game. So he ended up with 11 total tackles. I think he should be in a good spot to produce again this week against the Jets who have allowed the most tackles to safety so far this season. All right, an AFC North Showdown next Cincinnati Bengals Pittsburgh Steelers will start with the Bengals linebackers because I really like the improvement from the Bengals linebacker so far. It's again, it's still super early. So I don't want to gas them up too much just yet, but Bert Carter and Demetrius Knight have been playing better than last season. Like they're not amazing by any means, but they're not a liability either, which was the case last year. So I think more importantly here is they're locked into solid roles in this defense with Demetrius Knight specifically getting more encouraging usage as he's now playing around 90% of the defensive snaps for a couple weeks in a row, which again, it's a big improvement from his 73% snap average last year. And that's allowed him to be a really effective IDP so far. So I like Carter and Knight in like non shallow leagues again this week defensive line for me. It's really just boy

in Maffe for deep leagues and then like the interior guys Dexter Lawrence and Jonathan Alan, but more as DT2 types. I know Cedric Johnson had two sacks last week, but he did so on just 30% of the snaps. We're definitely not trusting that in any lineups this week. And then defensive backs DAX Hill is definitely in play for CB required leagues. He's another player that is getting targeted a ton and racking up production because of it. And then Jordan Battle at Safety Solid Production there as a DB2 issue. Okay, for the Pittsburgh Steelers, I don't even want to talk about their linebacker situation because I'm still bitter about it, but I can't help but feel it was a very intentional tease in giving us that big Peyton Wilson workload in week one before yanking the rug from under us in week two. And thankfully Wilson like did his part to not kill us because he's such an effective tackler and so much more of an effective tackler than Patrick Princess over there in Pittsburgh who again got an interception to save his day last week, but otherwise just like the worst tackle rates every single week with this guy, but whatever we get hopefully we get more

good snapshairs from Wilson than not, but I'm not sure we can count on that now. So for now, I still do prefer Peyton Wilson over Patrick Queen, but they're both more options for like non shallow formats. Star linebacker Patrick Queen by the way, Amanda Scott Hansen is on thin ice by the way, calling Queen a star. We can we can't just be throwing those labels out there willy-nilly, right? Words have meaning for things like, but whatever, strike one, Hansen. Okay, on to the defensive line man now, and I don't have to spend much time on telling you to start TJ Watt or Alex Heismith, actual stars in the NFL, we're starting them. Joe Burrow and the Bengals offensive line will allow SACs. Cam Hayward, Nick Herbick also in play here. Herbick is a much getting a much fairer snapshot this year, essentially getting an even split of playing time with Heismith and Watt, which so far is working out for everyone. So I wouldn't mind Herbick as like a DL3 this week in a decent matchup. And then defensive back, Jacquan Briskar, I think for sure, I'd still be

starting him great usage for him so far this season. It was a quiet week last week, but damn it if that usage isn't enticing. So 54% in the box last week, 53% in week one, like he should have a nice shot to bounce back here this week, I would think. And then Jalen Ramsey for CB required leagues as well, he's playing the other safety spot. Well, Dashawn Elliott is out. He'll also get pretty good usage around the line of scrimmaging should find ways to be productive from that. Next up is the Patriots and the Jaguars Patriots linebackers Christian Ellis. He didn't have like strong production in week one, but he did have a really strong role. And he absolutely produced because of that role in week two, which is why we want those full time linebackers on our roster. But Ellis will be a hot name again this week. I'm sure I'd still probably prefer spleen. But for now, Ellis is a solid option. We talked about this on the recap show, but he'll be an LB3 for me this week with the every down usage. Spalane more of an LB2 just was slightly better usage for like baseline tackle

production. A defensive back for the Patriots. Craig Woodson got banged up last week. I think there was a shoulder injury. Not sure if he'll play this week. He was really the only one that I was interested in for the most part. We'll see if Kevin Baird ever rises from the dead, but he's done. Oh, got through two weeks so far. So I'm not suddenly going to bank on him to do something in my lineup this week. Marcus Jones is the other one that I'm interested in for CB required leagues. And it'll probably depend a little on if Carlton Davis is out again because Jones did seem to help outside at outside corner last week, along with Charles Woods. But even if Davis is back, this is one of the better matchups for Jones to get more work in the slot as the Steelers play the seventh highest rate of 11 personnel so far. And the defensive line, the Patriots lost another pass rusher to injury this time. It was Dremont Jones. So that led to more work for Elijah Ponder, who had a big game last week gave Accus, who also had a nice game last week. Ponder had the bigger day because he recovered a fumble for a touchdown. But Accus has at least given us a couple of decent

games in a row. I'm not really starting either guy to be honest outside of like the deepest of leaks. So going to the Jaguars now, their defensive backs. And last week, I preached patience with Travis Hunter. The usage did take up a tiny bit on offense. He's not full time on defense either. So I think we have to just start seeing more work on the offensive side of the ball for him. Otherwise, he's going to stay on the bench. Again, I do think we'll get there. That's still very much seems like the plan from the Jags, but he's taking longer than expected. So not ideal for Lisa and I'll guide you right now. As for the safeties, they're mostly deeply gobsons. Antonio Johnson got much more work in the box in week one, but in week two came back down to earth. So more of an interchangeable deployment for him, which isn't a big surprise. The rest of the DB's, I'm not touching. I know Jordan Lewis got a pick last week, but he also played just over half of the snaps. So not sure what's going on there. But I'm going to avoid it where I can. At the defense of line, Josh Heinz Allen and Trayvon Walker did nothing last week against a Denver offensive line that absolutely bounced back

to who we thought they were going to be coming into this season, but didn't really show that at all in week one. So that was unfortunate timing for Josh Heinz Allen and company. I'm still fine to start both of these guys as needed this week. Josh Heinz Allen is an edge one. Trayvon Walker more of like a fringe edge two. And then at linebacker, foyer is the only every down linebacker here. Him and ventral Miller also disappointed last week. It was a really down week for the Jags IDP's as a whole, but nothing really changes all that much with how we project this duo. foyer is more of an LB2 Miller as that LB3 LB4 type as he's only playing about three quarters of the defensive snaps. Moving on to the Houston Texans and the Indianapolis cold snacks. And we'll start with the Texans defensive line because if you remember last week, I said, don't panic on Will Anderson and Daniel Hunter. Well, I know that sounded obvious to most, but trust me, I got plenty of messages after week one with people concerned. So hopefully you listened and kept them in your lineups. We keep these guys in lineups all weeks until they give us a real reason not to really, but even

a tougher matchup this week against the colds, we trust the talent overcome in these situations and can continue to roll out Anderson and Hunter. At defensive back, Jalen Petri is getting excellent usage playing basically all of his snaps around the line of scrimmage. Unfortunately, last week, he didn't do anything with it, but I love that usage and more often than not, it'll give us usable IDP production. So he'll continue to be a starting option for me. I believe I have him as like safety nine this week. And then Kamari, the Ranzo Lasseter in CB required leagues stays in CB required lineups linebacker. It was actually a good game from Aziz al Shaiir last week that was encouraging to see he's a fringe LB2 for me this week. We also saw Jake Hansen play 88% of the snaps in week two. As we know, Henky two toes is on IR. So it's possible that Hansen holds this LB2 role. They did bring in Kenneth Murray, but he didn't get activated on game day. So who knows if he'll even factor in. But if the Texans are smart, they'll probably find better options than these two buccalaws. Okay, colds and their linebackers, the usage has at least been kind of consistent

here through to the first two weeks of the season to the point where maybe we can start knowing what to expect. But I'm sure with this unit, that's exactly when they'll switch things up on us. It's why I really can't rank a keen Davis Gator higher than an LB3 on the chance that they rug pull us on any given week. Like ADG did wear the dot last week, but he still came off the fields on some obvious passing downs, which you don't usually see. So that really just tells me that they're not comfortable with this guy as their LB1. And hopefully it means that they're just biting their time until CJ Allen is ready. He's up to six naps now on the year. So let's see if he can make it 12 this week. At defensive line, Lyat 2, Latu, DeForest Buckner are still the top options. Latu hasn't done much this season, but he's out there enough and he's generating pressure and he should get more Trent Brown this week at right tackle. So I'd hope that he can get his first sack of the year here. If not, he'll be another faller in the ranks next week. And defensive back for the colds, we got some weirdness at safety last week with AJ Halsey and Hunter Wooler actually rotating throughout the

game. And it got to the point where Halsey didn't really play at all in the fourth quarter and over time. So I'm a bit concerned that Luana Ramos hatred for his rookie linebacker is also translating to his rookie safety as well. I might pick up Hunter, Hunter Wooler as a speculative ad this week, just in case Halsey is like truly benched. And we could get some really nice usage from this role if Wooler gets full time, but that's only going to be for deeper league options for now. Other than that, Justin Wally is ranked highly for me at cornerback this week. He hasn't really been like this amazing IDP so far through the first two weeks, but I think he's in a great spot this week against the Texans. The Texans are the most pass heavy offense in the league. And they ranked top three in 11 personnel rate at 75%, which is all very positive for Justin Wally's snapshot to remain high. He's actually coming off a week, we played 85% of the snaps in week two, which is a big increase from his 57% in week one. So I like the match up here, 85% of snaps or more

is well within the realm of possibility again for Wally, which I think should bow well for him in his IDP value against a team that has allowed the third most tackle so far to the cornerback position. Okay, going on to Tennessee and the New York Giants next. And yeah, after last week, we obviously, we're we were bracing for it. If you listen to this show as far as what Cedric Gray's usage was going to be in his first game back, but it was still disappointing to see Cedric Gray and Cody Barton kind of rotating throughout this game. So I'm going to remain hopeful that Cedric Gray eventually takes over a full time role while Barton, you know, watches from the corner there with his tiny micro. Well, yeah, he relegated to LB3, but for now, I want to be patient with Cedric Gray. I'm not starting him this week in most formats. I just think the risk of them continuing with this rotation is still high enough that I'd rather find other safer options. Like if we strip the name

Cedric Gray and an eraser memories of what he did last year. And I said that this Titan's linebacker is going to play 40% of snaps this week. Would you start him over this Bears linebacker who is going to play 100% of snaps this week? Any anyone in the right mind is going to start the 100% linebacker. And that's kind of the risk that we take if we're putting gray into our lineups is that he could very well be at that 40% stab share again, or at least not full time as they seem to still want Barton out there in certain situations like we just don't know. And I guess that's the part of me that doesn't really care if I bench in this week until we do know for sure like he could absolutely play 100% of the snaps this week. But why risk it? Because of his 2025 season like let's just be patient here. If he gets back to 100% that we can get excited again. But until then let's just stick with Anthony Hill this week at the defensive line Jeffrey Simmons. That's it. The rest of these guys don't deserve our attention just yet at defensive back. Amani Hooker and Kevin Winston Jr. are both

definitely playable. Hooker is getting that great usage in the box and in the slot. Winston is getting a little less work in the box and definitely not as much in the slot either it seems. But he's a productive player and I'm good with him as a DB2 hooker though that usage has him in that DB1 conversation most weeks for me for the Giants their linebackers as was the case last year. Tennis C's offense really hasn't done anything to help our IDP tackle production like Tennessee was a poor matchup last year and now so far again this year. So, Tremaine Edmunds Arvel Reese they're they're fine starts but they're not top tier options by any means assuming this really is the same trend from last year with Tennessee. They're both LB3 types for me. I don't mind the upside on Reese this week that the chance that he can get a sack on cam ward but just not banking on it because his usage there is pretty minimal. A defensive line Abdul Carter got his first full sack of the year much earlier than then last season so that was great to see. I have him as edge 12 this week in a great matchup and then Brian Burns it looks like he's unlikely to play after he suffered

a low ankle sprain on Monday night so Kiva and Tibido might be a decent streaming option this week in a good matchup and then defensive back. Javon Holland came up with two intersections last week was actually getting a little bit more work in the box than usual so he's still more of a DB3 for me. Same thing with Tyler Nubin but I don't mind them and then Deonte Banks for CB required leagues and kick return leagues if he's back he missed last game but was replaced by Colton Hood who did not return kicks and then Andrew Phillips becomes somewhat interesting against a Titans team that ranked sixth in 11 personnel this season so there's opportunity there for much more snaps for for Drew Phillips in that nickel role this week so I don't mind him as a CB streaming option. Alright on to the later slate here Arizona and San Francisco we start with the Cardinals linebackers Jack Gibbons his usage remains really strong he played all but one defensive snap last week and he was effective for IDP once again both him and Mack Wilson appear to be safe bets even if like not remarkable ones we're at least getting two fine options to choose

from in Arizona. Mack Wilson did get banged up last week a bit where he stepped out for a few snaps but he was able to come back in so it doesn't appear to be any real concern they're fine with both of these guys in that kind of LB3-ish range. At defensive line I know a lot of people had high hopes for Walter Nolan coming into this season after he did a lot with a little as a rookie naturally it doesn't seem that's translating to his larger role at least early in the year he's still a fine option as like a DT2 and DT required formats but shouldn't be someone I think that we're forcing into lineups just yet plus it's a difficult match up this week for the Cardinals Pass Russia's Brock Purdy is the only starting quarterback who has yet to be sacked this season I'm not going to be betting on one of the most ineffective pass rushing units to do enough damage here that I'm trusting any of them to start that includes Josh Sweat who looks completely disinterested to start the season he's like a DL5 from you this week. At defensive back a player I'm absolutely trusting is boot a baker he's been excellent as usual the usage is great he played

54% of the snaps in the box last week for a big IDP performance he should be in all lineups this week and your wing guard just to find option as well for the 49ers their defensive line I I cannot believe that of all the players that I was high on last week that it was Nick Bosa against Miami of all teams that let me down he ended up with five pressures in that game but none of them were even like QB hit so turned out to be a real dud for Bosa I still trust him as a weekly starter but obviously we need him to take advantage of favorable matchups at the very least he gets a fine matchup here versus Arizona hill lineup almost exclusively against the right tackle Elijah Wilkinson who is the weaker of the two cardinals tackles so again trusting Nick Bosa in lineups I think I miss edge seven so hopefully he doesn't crap out on us two weeks in a row linebacker we're starting Fred Warner you don't need me to tell you that and then for Drake Greenlaw his usage remains closer to part time even though he had an efficient day last week he's still more of a deeper league option coming off the field more than we'd like and then defensive back like this should be

a better matchup for up to and stout he actually had a nice game last week thanks to a half sack against Miami who were only slightly above average in terms of 11 personnel rate the cardinals are slightly more 11 personnel having than Miami so we'll bank on still efficiency in a non-full time role with good usage when he's on the field if we're starting him but I have up to and stout as like as high NCB 2 this week the safeties Marcus sigil and jay year brown are okay I know sigil had a good week last week playing about three quarters of his snaps deep though so not really trusting him too much and then brown played half of his snaps in the box but both of these guys are pretty mid so only options for deeper leagues right now okay Vikings and bucks are next and we'll start with minnesota's defensive line because it should be another strong matchup for Dallas Turner and and driven ginkgo to get home this week they've started the year off hot thanks to brine florist's blitz heavy defense creating a ton of pressure Baker mayfield has the fifth worst pressure to sack and version rate in the league so far this year at 28% so hard to imagine minnesota not getting some

sacks this week with obviously Turner and AVG being the prime beneficiaries once again they'll both be edge one options this week jaylen redman is also a fringe dt1 in dt required leagues at line backer blake cashman is a top option once again this week we should have no problem putting him into line ups eric wilson is still like a non shallow league option even as a full time player he's close to 40% of his snaps on the edge so far this season and blitzing at over 40% of his passing down snaps as well so another one of those kind of boom bust linebacker options that will basically just play at our own risk most weeks at defense of back I love biron murphy juneer this week in cb required formats he'd be my top play at corner here against the box who lead the league in 11 personnel rate and ranked second so far in tackles allowed to the cornerback position he gets work in the slot doesn't leave the field in non-nickel situations and he we've got two really strong games from him so far so expecting a third one here this week at safety josh metallis right now as

the only real full time option getting good usage but he's been okay for the most part not too excited about him but definitely startable for tampa bay their linebackers josiah trotter is an lb2 for me this week again even though he's not playing like a true every down roll this is just a slightly better situation than in like pittsburg where it's wilson versus queen here it's trotter versus the prince of asgard alixan zeloni who is awful a truly terrible linebacker and that translates to idp with his mistakels and poor play as he's been super inefficient so luckily trotter is cleaning up the scraps for us and is one of the most efficient linebackers in the league so far with a very strong 16 percent 16 percent tackle rate this season at defensive line it seems like cahler murry will be back this week he didn't take a sack in his limited snaps in week one but that small sample Vikings offensive line has been decent but past rush has really not been so nobody's showing much of anything to start the year for tampa bay's d-line i have de obi as like a dl3 bane as a dl4

collagia can see is more of a dt2 like those are the ones i'd consider here if you have to i know david walker had a sack last week but he's not playing nearly enough to trust he played just 16 percent of snaps in week two so avoid that trap at defense of back we got a better week from tykey smith thanks to three tackles for loss the usage really remains strong for tykey and i continue to like him as a starting idp in most formats and to unwind field junior more of a db2 i liked kionte scott last week for cb required leagues he was robbed of a sack unfortunately so that one didn't work out but this week i have more as a low ncb2 against the Vikings who play a very low rate of 11 personnel and scott's usage was down even in a positive match match up last week so i think he'll potentially keep falling if that holds okay ravens cowboys are up next starting with the ravens linebackers no concern for roquan smith after a quieter week last week he's still very much a top play for idp the cowboys they have been a very passive offense so far which could work against roquan but just have a harder time benching him most weeks regardless of the matchup and then

trendson simpson has had decent production at least relative to his playing time to start the year but same thing we'll have to keep an eye on every week with him which is whether or not teddy bucanin is back in the lineup if he is that we avoid both players if not then simpson can be a fine deep league option only a defense of line it's not an easy matchup here for the past rush dac continues to do a really nice job of voiding sacks trehendrickson got his first sack last week as we kind of expected though he'll still be more of an edge to this week while tabi and tabi is robinson is the other option he's more of an edge three but a pretty decent one he's playing a ton so strong option in those deeper leagues at the defense aback kyle hamilton is absolutely in starting lineups we talked about it last week but that usage is elite and that is going to lead to more productive games than not and then as expected malachy starcks came down to earth as a result of his deep safety usage marlin humfrey is going to stay a strong cb required option in a good matchup especially if dallas remains pretty past heavy there should be decent work here for these ravens cornerbacks for the cowboys we'll start with their linebackers i'd expect to marvean

overshown to miss another week here which means that jation barf ham should get another run with the green dot he played well last week the only issue was that he was coming off the field multiple times throughout the game which impacted his snaps quite a bit so don't love that and i know there's all sorts of reasons that i've heard about why he's coming off the field but the issue is more that it wasn't just one thing and it wasn't just for like a stretch of snaps it was multiple times throughout the game so we'll keep an eye on it this week and if he plays an every down roll then that's great we'll be very happy about that but it's why he won't be like an elby one or an elby two for me this week and more in that kind of fringe elby three range as there's some risk attached here for defensive line for dallas the ravens offensive line has really struggled so far this year and after a big week one dawn of an azirakwo didn't really do much in week two he should have a better matchup this week to bounce back though still more of kind of a high end edge three for me right now and then quinon williams also a fine dt required option at defensive backs

Caleb downs is likely going to be a top five db for me going forward he looks every bit the part of what we expected him to be so far the usage as that primary slot and still you know getting work in the box and avoiding that deep alignment is really what we want so lock Caleb downs into line ups going forward i ended up moving him into that db one range later last week before the game because the usage is just too good to ignore here and then jalen tomson and dron bland are just fine options if you have them next up it's the raiders and the saints so we'll start with the raiders linebackers because necobie deen has been caching in on some big play upside here early and while while that won't always be the case he's still very much a strong play right now he's wearing the green dot for the raiders and looking like he can have a really strong season i'd be leaving him in line ups most weeks as long as he's healthy and nothing wrong with quay walker either he's also in every down linebacker and a solid lb-2 if you have him defensive line max crossby got pretty much shut out last week in it and that tougher matchup against the chargers offensive tackles right like he gets a

much better matchup here against Tyler shuck and the saints offensive line that just lost their best past blocking offensive lineman and kelvin banks at left tackle left tackle but crossby is going to mostly line up against the right tackle anyways talice fuwaga who owns a very bad 38.8 past blocking grade and has been charged with the sack in each of his first two games this season so definitely love super max this week and then quiddie pay can also be considered a fine streaming option here and defensive back i've got jermy chin as a high end dp-2 he's going to be a starter for most of us this week and then after that nobody really exciting like trade on stuixes playing mostly deep toron johnson could be a fine streamer this week in a decent 11 personnel matchup but not excited about the other non chin options for the saints their linebackers i've got katon ellis as a top 12 linebacker this week really like this spot in in in this defense as a full time player very zone heavy scheme and the raiders so far have been a good matchup for opposing linebacker so ellis is definitely in for me this week peat Werner is coming off a big game and a bigger snapshot

than usual at 93% now i don't know how much we should be trusting that since we've seen Werner snaps fluctuate pretty dramatically in the past so even in this same defense last year i talked about it in the recap show i i think it was or or maybe it was the i dp report maybe both i can't remember but most teams want to stack the box against lamar jaxon and dara kenry which could have played a big part in that usage for Werner last week i'd rather wait and see here before getting too excited but if you have to play him it's not a terrible spot as he's at least been efficient and the matchup is decent for the same defense of line the raiders offensive line has actually been a tough matchup so far for past rushers their alline is really solid for the most part and kurt cousins has done a decent job avoiding sack so i still don't mind chase young because he's actually look good and if i want to bet on someone on this defensive line to overcome the matchup it'll be him but he's more of a low end dl2 for me this week and then carl granderson more as a dl3 defense of back jones sankers usage was warned about last week quite a bit by me so

hopefully you all listened i i didn't get any what happened to sanker questions so that is a good sign that everyone was locked in which you love to see this week it's another tougher one for jones sanker the raiders have played just 35% of their snaps in 11 personnel that ranks 30th in the league brock bours might be back and maybe sanker gets more work against him but we didn't really see that at all last week against mark andrius for example also in a bad matchup where he played just 59% of the snap so i'm not really trusting him this week in another poor matchup we'll just have to wait for better matchups with jones sanker okay on to sunday night football the rams are in prime time again this time going up against the denver broncos will start with the rams linebackers because i have some concerns here with nate landman and i wrote about this in the the weeks rankings article where i talk about how since shan mcfei has taken over for the rams they've always been this light linebacker defense meaning they had they run a lower rate of having two linebackers on the field pretty much every year but they're also now showing a growing tendency

to play no linebackers in certain situations and because of this kind of meddling and experimenting with no linebackers on the field and all these defensive backs it's obviously cutting into nate landman snap share and we did see that on i think it was eight plays last week the rams ran without an off ball linebacker on the field and more defensive backs so it's cutting into nate landman snap share i don't really love this at all for him he it's moved him to more of an lb3 for me they're facing the broncos this week they have not been a good tackle matchup for linebacker so far they're more pass heavy team at least so far in the league so you combine that with landman's usage i i'm kind of capping him as an lb3 right now so we'll see could be better than that but i i definitely have my concerns here with this rams linebacker usage for the rams defensive line it all kind of depends on what version of this broncos offensive line that we're going to get this week so week one they were dog shit week two they were significantly better so i'm fine starting

byron young as kind of the best of the bunch right now he's a high end edge two for me this week kobi turners a low n dt one and aeron donald as a high n dt two it was great to see aeron donald back on the field already drawing a bunch of attention from offensive lines it was kind of funny because the first series of the game it looked like they weren't going to double him and then he was immediately collapsing the pocket and then by like the second series of the rest of the game he was getting the attention that he was used to so i think even the giants weren't expecting him to look like his old self but it was pretty damn close uh for for how he played so not much doing uh for idp from aeron donald but he'll keep improving i think and i'm fine treating him as a dt two right now defense aback quentin lake is another one of those players that i'm not taking out of my lineups at this point the usage remains really elite for him the production is right there as well like it doesn't look like a great matchup on paper here with the broncos giving up fewer tackles to the safety position but lake is mostly playing in the slot and falls under that cornerback designation which has been a good tackle matchup so far so i'm not worried about him i have cam curl as more

of a low ndb two and then trend mcduffey as a fringe cv one for the broncos their defensive line nikbennito has been kind of quiet to start the season but i think the difference between like a quiet start from nikbennito and like a quiet start from jared verse from an example is that the underlying metrics are much better for bennito and suggest at least that he deserves better results he has a very good 90.1 pf pass rush grade right now that ranks third at the position he's got five pressures four of which were cubie hits through those first two games just doesn't have the sack yet and this matchup admittedly it's not great he's going to line up almost exclusively against the ram's best pass blocking offensive lineman eliric jackson and then mathieu staffer who has been sacked just once through the first two games of the year so i like the talent for bennito it still keeps him as an above average start for me this week i think he's capable of overcoming these type of matchups but it is i think worth tempering expectations a little bit during this early stretch of

the season i think i have him as edge 21 this week and then zack alan is going to be a strong dt one option for me but after that i'm not really messing around too much with this broncos defensive line it was good to see jones ellis johnet ellis gets such a a hefty snapshot in week two we'll see if that continues here in week three but he could become an option at some point in better matchups if he continues to play around 70 plus percent of the snaps like he did last week at linebacker it's just kinkleton for me uh sternad wasn't terrible last game but he's another one like peat Werner like just a less efficient version where his snaps will fluctuate quite a bit week to week depending on the matchup and i'd rather see consistent usage from him before ever putting him in my lineup and then i defensive back for the broncos riley moss is a top cb option branded jones talinahue fonga are fringe safety two safety three types and then jacquon mcmillion can mostly be avoided as this is in a great matchup for nickel defenders with the rams playing a below average rate of 11 person now okay last game of the week monday night football philadelphia eagles

chicago bears starting with the eagles linebackers jihad cambell has had a really nice start to the year thanks to some positive big play luck that'll obviously cool off at some point but i don't mind him as an lb-2 right now since the usage isn't really all that concerning it so far in terms of like a high rate of snaps on the edge or blitzing a ton it's been pretty tame so far which is i think a good thing for his tackle potential and then the same thing was zak bon who has been used even tamer i i don't know if that's word i know he didn't have a big game in week two but i like the usage much more for zak bon for this rest of season potential than if he was getting more work on the edge and rushing the passer so i think we should get more consistency there with bon for idp as a result at defensive line no idea if jonathan granard will be back or not i'm treating him as as an edge three in the ranks right now if he is back since he'll likely be facing case kinham but he's also low enough because i don't know if he'll be eased back into the lineup if

we don't get official word about his status prior to sunday i'm really fine parking him for another option it's not worth waiting on here jaylen carder got us the sack last week as we had hope so that was nice to see he's startable again this week in dt required formats jelix hunts moro ojamo jordan davis nolan smith are all more for deeper formats and then defense abac kuperdijin has been kind of quiet so far for idp which is a bit surprising i think the usage will let him bounce back here sooner rather than later so i'm still locking him in to cb required line ups but more of like a db2 overall for me right now as it's just been a somewhat concerning of a slow start all right chakago bearers let's talk about their defense of backs i really like dilland theneman and malik mohamad even for cb required leagues this week but starting with theneman we saw his usage in the box in quid increase quite a bit from last week to 42 percent i think that can continue here in this matchup against the bird so he's a top safety option for me this week and then for malik mohamad coming off

a nice game last week he should have a shot to deliver again this week he's a cb1 for me against an eagles offense that ranked second in 11 personnel rate so far he only played 62 percent of snaps last week in what was not a great matchup against the Vikings and he still produced so we've talked about denis alan's nickel corner a lot and right now mahamad is benefiting from that roll through two weeks with a nice matchup to do so again here this week at defensive line i've got montes sweat as more of a dl2 it's a fine matchup and sweat is solid so even if he's not the most exciting player he's still a better option than most in this week as for dayo oday angbo and ostin booker it seems like oday angbo is still the preferred option booker did get a sack last week but he did so unlimited snaps either way they're both deep league options anyway and finally the bear's disappointing linebacker unit tj edwards has been awful to start the year despite playing a 100 percent snap role he's more of an lb4 for me right now it's really only because he's playing

every snap that he should be considered at all because he's been really hard to watch so far for what it's worth like i like devin bush a little bit more though still as an lb3 at least bush is more efficient than edwards right now though that's not really a high bar to set so they're both like lb3 and lb4 types this week but that's going to do it on another full game by game breakdown i thank you all for tuning in and hopefully you found that helpful as always feel free to ask questions in the comments i'll try to get to as many as i can all i ask is that you like and subscribe to the channel that would mean a lot to me and if you want even more information make sure to check out the idpshow.com as i've got the idp report out idp rankings are already up and still to come this week corner back corner from johnny de greig deal streaming article from scott soltis and the great jeff paumazal will be back on friday with another dynasty focused episode of the idp after show with john glossar as a guest this time to be on the lookout for that so i'm excited there i'll see you all in the wee hours of monday morning for another weekly idp
