The Luke Beasley Show — Shock Details on Trump Assassination Attempt. Machine-transcribed; use the interactive transcript above to jump the player to any line.
That day Thomas Krux came within a quarter inch and destroying this country. And yet a year and a half later, he still know almost nothing about him or why he did it. That's because for some reason, the FBI, even the current FBI, doesn't want us to know. Maybe the assassination was like not something that we don't know the full story. So maybe it was staged, maybe it was faked, maybe it was some kind of message to him, although I don't understand that. If you thought that questions, slash conspiracies were coming to an end and we had left in our rearview mirror, the Trump assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, you would be wrong.
Because there's new reporting out, a leak of sorts. I think that came from Thomas Krux's dad that reveals an anonymous person did a very strange thing right after the assassination attempt. Of course, Thomas Krux being the person who took that shot killed one of Trump supporters and almost killed Trump. And in the aftermath of this, there have been all sorts of, we'll say, alternative theories. And Trump has been uncharacteristically quiet about these. Usually he would jump onto the Biden tried to get me conspiracies. Trump usually, if it puts him as the victim, does not see a conspiracy, he doesn't like. And the idea of after him wrongly claiming political persecution and Biden was trying to put me in prison, you would think it would be the perfect cherry on top for him to say and Biden coordinated or his age or the on open coordinated an assassination attempt. But he hadn't done that and he'd been quiet and he actually has been oddly complimentary
of secret service, even though clearly they failed that day because the shot got off and killed supporter and grace Trump's here or something, grace Trump's here. Maybe the teleprompter. I don't know. And that ends now. Trump has decided, you know what, my followers have, and let me give you this context before I tell you what the bombshell is and what Trump said in reaction to it because I do think it's important. His supporters went from, well, I mean a very specific sect of his supporters went from it was a anop by the deep state or Biden to get Trump. And then when some of them started breaking away from Trump, they flipped and went actually I think Trump staged it, which are very two very different scenarios. I think Trump staged it to help himself. And there were, I think we reviewed Marjorie Green asking that question once she broke away from Trump. And so Trump might be thinking, well, if they're going to go in either direction with something was off, I would like them to believe that it was me who was innocent and the victim and
not the person who coordinated. So he sent this out and then I'll tell you what he's responding to. He said everybody knows that crooked Joe Biden FBI, not grammatically correct, didn't do what they should have with respect to the lunatic who shot me in Butler, Pennsylvania. By the time I got into office on January 20th, most of the information was missing, altered, corrupted, or gone. New info was just found. Why wasn't it seen long ago? This was all a Democrat plot to get me out of the election that failed. Dirty cop Christopher Ray should pay a price for the way he handled. This is as a nation of Tim. And certainly for the things he said, God does America make America great again. President Donald J. Trump. And that was posted this morning. So no, it was not a democratic plot. There are plenty of aspects to this that are odd and bizarre, but I think we should take
Biden seriously when he responds. Joe Biden, what is your response to these allegations? It's your response to that, sir. Do you think the conviction will have an impact on the campaign? We'd love to hear your thoughts, sir. Should we be on the ballot, sir? Okay, maybe that wasn't in relation to this, but it's my favorite clip ever. So then you see this pop up. And this is what sparked the latest round of statements and Trump accusing, I guess the Biden administration of coordinating this Fox news says breaking attempted Trump assassin Thomas Crooks had packages of gun parts delivered to him under the pseudonym Bob Dull. And an anonymous donor paid for his body to be cremated according to federal records obtained by Fox News Digital. Now a lot of this is admittedly completely bizarre. And I'll probably say that a few times, but you heard in the opening that clip from the
Tucker Carlson documentary or something about Crooks and about the Butler shooting where he says, and to this day, we don't know anything about the person who almost took Trump's life. That is incorrect. If someone's giving you a theory or giving you conspiracy, then just make sure that their premise is correct. That's important. And I'm not here to say all of this makes sense. A lot of it is confusing. So an anonymous donor paid for his body days after to be cremated. And wait, why are we cremating it days after? Don't you want to kind of leave the body for a while? Then case there's any evidence on it, but maybe they got all the evidence of it. I don't know. I'm not a investigator. That's part of why I'm kind of humble on this to say. I have not seen overwhelming evidence for any alternative theory than just a deranged person tried to do a deranged thing. And it makes me lose all trust in somebody. If while setting up their theory, which I'm intrigued by, oh, what else could it be? Right? We all get to a little titillated. They say something blatantly false like we still don't know anything.
We don't know a lot. And I have dozens maybe of segments out since this day, which by the way, we were at that of details. Tom is Crooks and his search history leading up to it and the way and this kind of contradicts some of the right wing narrative that he was searching up democratic politicians locations and Republican politicians locations. And Trump happened to be the one who was going nearby as Crooks was getting ready to do this. We've learned a lot about his family and his obsession with guns and like what you just heard there is another layer to this where he was thinking that he was keeping himself off like secretive by ordering things under a pseudonym, which didn't work out for him. But the reporting from the near post is an anonymous donor paid for the cremation of President Trump's would be assassin. Tom is Crooks just days after the deadly Butler, Pennsylvania rally shooting. The revelation included a trove of documents.
Anonymous donor paid for cremation reads a note at the end of a summary of an interview that gunman's father Matthew conducted with federal investigators. Okay, that's a lot of words. So a note at the end of a summary of an interview with the Crooks's father that federal investigators did, anonymous donor paid for cremation. So if you go suspicious, right, if you want to go to the mentally titillating theories and say what could that have been, you would say, oh, that was because they wanted to get rid of the body as quickly as possible and, you know, Jill Biden sent the anonymous funds so that it could get done quickly. If you want to go the non-celacious direction, you say that someone in the life of the father felt bad that according to this reporting, he was horrified and didn't have a great relationship with the son.
He was horrified that this happened and that his son was killed while trying to kill and while killing and knew that the finances of the family were really bad and they didn't have money and I think that that was unemployed or retired, but you know, tied on money and so they couldn't afford any funeral type things and somebody thought, you know what, I'm in the community. I know this is a good family in the sun with crazy. I'm going to pitch in so that they can do what they would like with their son's body. That's the non-celacious, but hey, you want to go to a salacious field? That's all everybody wants these days and my, my, my, my, my, so go for it. But the way that Trump is, as the narrative shifted from terrible day and like Trump got a boost in sympathy and then, oh, what if it was a conspiracy by the body of the administration and then it shifted because nothing was clarified once Trump became the president to wait, did Trump stage it?
All the while I've been saying, hey, whoa, wait until there's over one, we have it to make such a claim. But many of you are like, no, I'm there. That's where I'm at and you know what, have fun. And so then we're all the way over there and Trump's thinking, I got to pull this narrative back. Here's a story that has brought this back to the national discussion. This is my moment to call it. What did he call it? A democratic plot. Now if he believed this to be a democratic plot, why the hell did he wait this long to make that baseless allegation to him, Z says the 20 year old would it be assassin? You know what I mean? Trin, Trin, Trin. Who shot down Trump in the ear was cremated just days after he died and appears an unknown individual stepped up to cover the costs. So I already explained to you the two scenarios there. And then you have his mad inventor era for some reason. It's being described like it's a Taylor Swift album by the Nurtre Post has Thomas's interest
in guns grew. He started buying a large number of Amazon packages, including parts, tools and items to increase the capacity of his rifle. The part to that Republicans never want to contend with is as everyone agrees, first of all, to stay up front. Okay, should clip this. Everyone agrees. This is terrible. And no matter what anyone believes or what I believe about Donald Trump, of course, we don't want things like this happening. And that was a very scary and sad tragic day for the person, the audience who died in their family. This is a story of a Republican family, a pro Trump family, and a conservative area. And an obsession with violence and guns that led to a young guy becoming very radicalized. And he was unstable. I'm not blame. I'm not purely blaming it on like the gun made him go crazy early like that. People can be very sane and still get guns.
But you hear in the bio of this guy's life that as he was more socially isolated and more fixated on violence being a problem solver. And at one point he kind of wanted to go in the military, but he did it so that he's cost playing. And then he's thinking that I guess at one point his dad's bank account got hacked. And he thought using a pseudonym while purchasing things on Amazon would prevent bank accounts from being hacked, which is not not all that works. It's more your financial information that you put into purchase that they can lead to you getting hacked, not whether or not you put your own name, but okay. And this is not exactly the furry trends San Francisco resident who watches Rachel Maddow that went and tried to get Trump here, right? It was a much more right wing coded situation, but that doesn't mean that he was doing it out of right wing ideology.
He didn't really have a political ideology from what we can tell other than feeling like the whole system was screwed. And I think he just wanted to hurt somebody who was famous. Somebody who was a high up in a position of power based on his search history. So that's the cremation news. I was trying to remember when the last time Trump, other than that true social post even discussed Butler and it was after the White House correspondence dinner, due charging towards potential assassination attempt. And here's what Trump said. You as well as some of us who have covered Butler experienced another horrific day two years ago. Yeah. What's what felt similar? You know, you had the first lady with you today, what felt different and you have another two plus years in office. Are you concerned about something like this happening? I can't be concerned. I can only get great people. They did the job in my opinion, a much better job than Butler. Butler had one week spot that we all know about.
Somebody should have been up there. But even Butler, we had a hour sniper, sniper in our side within 4.2 seconds from a distance of about 400 yards, one shot and he was gone. So do you notice even that recently, he was still pretty complimentary about the response from secret service even after there was like a historic security failure. And if he at all suspected some sort of Biden era plot, you would think his language would sound differently. My point in saying that is this is clearly an opportunistic move to get the mega conspiratorial and otherwise conscriptorial juices back flowing the way that he likes as opposed to directed at him like the East Asia, because that was all the scuttle butt. People had moved on from was it a Biden thing, because Trump's now in power and you would assume that he would uncover whatever the thing is that we're expecting to be uncovered.
And then it happened. So now people are going well, then is him and they could just go maybe it's nobody, maybe it actually is a different story. If you're wondering about a bigger op, then it shifts to well now he's the one in power and he's not exposing anything and he's complimentary about the security that day. It's just recently that Trump is going maybe if I shift back to being conspiratorial towards Biden, then it will get the heat off of me all very bizarre. That's our first story of the day. Thank you all so much for joining us. We have a John to get into and my favorite story probably of the week is this next one about to beast the reality and cash Patel wanting to make sure that we don't jump to conclusions about people engaging and be now and I thought what is but we'll talk about that in a second. Of course, Luke Beesley joined by producer Jaden and Cole. Thank you for joining us and let's discuss.
What is this called Trump? I'll pull out Trump a polluza Trump. I love. No, Trump. I'll a loser. Trump. I'll lose her. His numbers are so bad. I thought that when I saw this clip, it was going to be my favorite clip of the day of Nancy Pelosi coming up with a singer like Trump. I like the idea like Trump. Paloza and then Jaden to Trump. Ballozer. But a little botch and it made me happy. I thought that was going to be the clip that made me the most happy. But then whoof something much better happened. Cash Patel, the FBI director went in front of a Senate committee for a little bit of a grilling and Republican Senator John Kennedy took issue with the FBI changing their hiring standards and it's not as clear as it used to be on whether or not you could qualify to be in the FBI if you had engaged in beast reality. They wanted to add the nuance, right?
Under Cash Patel around beast reality. Now I'll tell you what he actually is trying to say in a little bit. But first let me leave the mystery because it sounds like he wants to make sure that the victim of the beast reality being the animal can still have a chance to submit that application. Here's John Kennedy very flummoxed by this hiring standards change. What about the beast reality? Same thing because the regs wrote it up in a fashion before I arrived that addressed prostitution, beast reality and trafficking. They were there before I got there. They were there. Tell me what it said before. It automatically disqualified any individual who participated on either side of it. Obviously we are never going to hire the criminal. The side of what? The beast reality? Yes. Is it qualified the animal? Well I don't think we have great canines but we're not going to disqualify.
Understand. That's a very good point. We don't want to disqualify the canines who have engaged in beast reality. This is so good. You just need this for your heart. But Luke there's more important pressing. Let's enjoy. Let's just enjoy. The best person to be asking these questions despite me usually being irked by him is John Kennedy. Well tell me about the beast reality portion. I understand. I understand. In Louisiana there's some crocodiles or alligators that are the ones in Louisiana. I understand the crocodile alligators. Sometimes are looking toy. I can tell you that when I was a hormone adult teenager and I'd go down to the swamp and they parked their little booties up out of the water.
I'd get confused but it was I always kept it as a fantasy, Mr. Director. I never made it into real life. I'm trying to understand why you did this. This is not directed at you, Mr. Director. I understand the game. People try to make you look bad. We do the same thing when the other parties in office. All this stuff is really hurt to FBI. It's really hurt to FBI. So I'm trying to get to the bottom of this. Why would you, why would you, in light of the context and what we're going through and we're having a tough time attracting agents, good quality agents we all can trust because so many people, fairly or unfairly, think that in order to be an FBI agent now, your political
point of view matters. Why would you even get in to be still? We are not in to be still. That feels like an odd defense. You didn't think that's the question, right? You didn't really that felt a little too defensive. Whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm not into be still. He means why would you even get into changing the hiring state? If the hiring standard used to say anyone who's engaged in whatever the list was, he said prostitutes and bestiality trafficking, if I think that was the list or something like it, I think everyone assumed that it meant perpetrated, okay? Changing it because you're worried that someone who like when they were, he's going to use an example of somebody who was forced to perform bestiality by somebody else. So if you were a victim in that sense and you were forced into it, which I'm sure happens,
like graphic, pornographic content by a sex trafficker where they want to create some disgusting beceeality imagery and they force a victim into doing it on camera for their content. Like, that's a very specific scenario, but if that's the one he's thinking the words weren't nuanced enough to address, I think you could have just assumed that's what the rules already meant. I think that's what everyone assumed they already meant. And whenever John is saying, why'd you even get into that topic? Like, why was that even on your mind? And Cash wants to specify that he's not into beceeality. It feels a little bit too protesting. Beceeality. We are not in to beceeality, but a lot of these individuals. I know you're not, but you changed, you changed. But I'm trying to explain it. You changed the qualifications and mentioned beceeality. If Joe participated in beceeality, not as the animal, but as the human.
Don't you like he ought to be qualified, disqualified? If he voluntarily did it, sure, but if he was trafficked into it, how do you involuntarily do it? And a lot of these cases, when I'm asking you to explain it, because I'm intrigued, I'm intrigued. I'm asking you to spell this. How? Let me put it this way, Cash. Mr. Director, explain this. If there happened to be a crocodile alligator, one of the two, in a Louisiana swamp that was parking its booty up as if it were looking at me like Mona Lisa's eyes, how could I legally get this done, Mr. Director? I mean, you know, I'm not going to be a human trafficker, who are some of the worst individuals on planet Earth. They don't just traffic you for prostitution, they traffic you for degrading acts of all kind, and they force you into that type of conduct. And some of these individuals would go on to be law enforcement officers who qualified to be law enforcement officers and later applied to the FBI.
I mean, this didn't initiate, these changes didn't start with you, did you? Somebody came to you and recommended. Yeah. Yeah. And when you saw beceeality. Can you pull up a photo of, I don't want to say it, here I'm going to text it to you. Can you please pull up a photo of Mr. Director, who did you get this guidance from? Mr. Director, could you please clear up for the committee, who came to you and told you you should loosen the standards around beceeality? Would you go ahead and just pull up a photo of the individual who gave you this advice? Go ahead and put it up for me. Thank you. Okay. All right. Please let the record show that Casper tells you should a photo of RFK Jr. It's just not always as simple. Sometimes the horses come on to you. I say this with respect.
The person who recommended it. Why didn't you just say what planet did you parachute in from? Why do I want to leave? That was my initial. Why do I want to leave with my chin and get into beceeality? That was my initial response center. But they then explained to me and showed me cases in which people were forced into it and had applied to the FBI. And so I thought they should be considered. It's not an automatic disqualification. That's all. Okay. All right. You're not telling us today that if a human being had sex with an animal that they can still be an FBI agent. No. Are you? No. They can't be. They cannot. In fact, they ought to be in jail, right? They all are. Yeah. Well, they're not all. We got all of them. We got all the beceeites. That sounds too close to like a fan of the show. We got all of them.
We have secured, I have a fixation on this. Okay. One other question. What if the cow is asking for it? I was walking down a pasture recently and I heard a rather sensual mmm from a cow. And it's chow. It's chow. It chow. It shook its udders at me while it said mmm. What would one do in a situation like that, Mr. Director? Okay. So the underlying point he's making is serious and sad, which is I'm sure there are plenty of examples. I mean, not plenty of the grand scheme of like the population, but there are examples of people who in terrible situations were forced into that for some sort of deranged content and they should not be disqualified. Fair point heard the point. You didn't need to take it out of the guidelines. It could have left it in and everyone would have assumed it doesn't mean someone who was coerced. When does that ever apply to coercion when you're saying if you did this thing, if you
engaged and I don't think it's the same engaging in beastie alley, which was the language, assumes voluntary. If it was forced on you, of course, that doesn't apply and it's wild that you opened yourself up to this discussion at all by doing that. Your senator was like, I'm still not quite past this topic. An organization charged with investigating theft should bring thieves into your midst. But you won't give us true answers to why this change was made to your hiring, even to Senator Kennedy's questions this morning. And I think he's still pretty mystified as to why bestiality was taken off the list. You have been so drunk that briefings have been rescheduled so you could sleep it off. When challenged by Senator Van Holland at the Appropriation Committee hearing several months
ago to take an alcoholism test, you agreed. Senator Van Holland has posted the results of his test. We are still awaiting you posting your results. So it is true that somehow there are more things we should ask him about just than beastiality. And one of them is this reporting about him being a little bit too drunk for his own good and being in the poodle room and then having to have meetings canceled because he's too hung over and then them having to do a SWAT style request to break down his door to get access to him for something pressing because he wasn't responding. And the assumption was he was too drunk or suited as the kids have been saying recently or he was partying in the locker room of the hockey team. And I appreciate that she just said it that way.
Sometimes you're too drunk. You're too much of a drunk to even do this job. Now the whole, how long has it been over? The whole John Kennedy, there's somebody candidates. Saga with Kashfetal reminded me of whenever he read out in Senate hearings as a point about like this is why libraries need to have more strict rules around books. When John Kennedy read very vulgar language from a book, not safe for work and seemed to very much enjoy the stramatic reading. And I will quote from it. I put some lube on and got him on his knees and I began to slide into him from behind. I pulled out of him and kissed him while he masturbated. He asked me to turn over while he slept a condom on himself.
This was my ass. I know, I know some of you are probably thinking, oh, that's an AI video. This is real from an actual Senate hearing and an actual Republican Senator reading these actual words. So you can't get onto me for playing it. I love, can we get on the sound board? This is my ass. This was my ass. This was my ass. And I was struggling to imagine someone inside me. Wow. I love how he's reading someone inside me. Next paragraph. That is just too good. You did have cash, Patel being asked about the reporting and confirmed now by Donald Trump Jr. And Bettina Trump is new wife about a Russian oligarch paying for their post wedding private
island party. This is a very close buddy of both Putin and Don Jr. And they came out after we're going to talk about this more, but Bettina and Don Trump Jr. came out after and said no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, they didn't, okay, the Russian oligarch did not pay for our wedding. He paid for this party we had afterwards. And by the way, it's not a big deal because we're best friends with him. So nothing on toward there. It's like, wait, you just made the story worse. You're best friends with this guy who's getting awards of friendship from Putin and you're supposed to the administration that your families can I do is supposed to be stopping that war, but you're partying with an oligarch connected to it. And Kashpatel wasn't super interested in investigating. Dean, your credibility, Senator Flutlandtall. Thanks, Mr. Chairman. Thank you for being here today, Director Patel.
We learned yesterday to the astonishment and shock of many Americans that a Russian oligarch bankrolled the wedding of the president's son with perhaps hundreds of thousands of dollars. I would like to know from you whether you have begun an investigation of potential intelligence compromises this individual, Omar Kremlov, has direct ties to Vladimir Putin. It would seem an effort to carry favor with the president's family. It may involve some intelligence degradation. And I would like to know what steps you are taking to investigate. I'm not sure what public reporting you're referring to. The only thing I can tell you is that the counter-espionage arrest by this FBI are up 53 percent including from Russia. We've arrested more espionage actors in these last 18 months than any 18-month period in
the FBI history and will continue to investigate. Well, these reports were public yesterday. They've been widely publicized in the press. And it would seem to me that they should be a topic of investigation for the FBI. You have a counter-intelligence mission. This individual has been involved in fact in the re-education of Ukrainian children. In my trips to Ukraine, I've done it 11 times. I've talked to many of those children who have been abducted by Putin's forces. This individual apparently is involved in those activities, but also is directly tied. I think I can sum it up by saying cash-pattles obviously not going to investigate Trump's family for how much influence peddling they are allowing and how many things are being paid for or money given or crypto bot or dinners had or whatever to curry favor. That's pretty obvious.
Everyone knows it and cash-pattles will not admit it. All right, quick check in with the audience. Then we'll get back to Bidness, Bexturb, member for three months. I don't like my senator's political standing, but man, he is funny talking about John Kennedy. Sometimes he gets to me. Suddenly, it's kind of like a washed up comedian where he goes, oh, these liberals are soy drinking avocado, eaten, furry, dressin, betas. It's like, okay, I get it. But whenever he really leans into the bit, I have a little respect. Sitting there with a straight face and reading very descriptive details about the beautiful phenomenon of gay sex. That is when I respect it, the grind. Intuition, Jen, thank you for the super chat. Venezuelan J says Trump's back flowing juices was a wild statement. I did not remember that I said that, but now that I'm recounting, I guess you are correct,
those words left my lips and I apologize. I mentioned to our members on yesterday's bonus show, click the join button to become a member that we were going to talk about on today's bonus show, this clip of Gavin Newsom talking to Jake Tapper where he makes a pretty shocking 2028 claim that he wanted run if Kamala runs, which everyone assumed Kamala was running and Newsom was running. So I'll play this for you. Jake Tapper presses him on it, but I decided we would just do it on today's main show instead of the bonus show. So we'll have something even better on the bonus show. Click the join button, become a member. It's a great time, but they're fly fishing because we're regular guys doing regular guy things and that should make you watch these interviews, right? This is what we were missing in our interviews and here is the notable part. Yeah, it's a lot of Democrats. They're new in flavors and you're not even the only California.
No, right. You got Brokana, Kamala. Yeah. I don't know. She runs, but we'll see. I know she's called around. Yeah. But I wouldn't run if she ran. If she runs, you will not. Of course not. Why would I? I wouldn't do that to her. I wouldn't do it to me. Why would I, I wouldn't do that to you? I wouldn't waste everyone's time. Who needs that? What do you mean? I bet that doesn't even make sense to me. I just said, I wouldn't, why, no, I wouldn't. We're going to get into the second part of this in a second here where Jake is like, wait, but why? But that shocked me. I assumed Newson was 100% certainly running and same thing with Kamala. Now the exciting part is there's going to be so many people who jump into it. I think it's going to be one of the best Democratic primaries. Assof, I hope we'll jump in and bootage edge. AOC, it seems like is gearing up for that. You have maybe Bushier. You have maybe Gretchen Whitmer, just so many different people jumping in.
I think it's going to be an interesting dialogue. But Newson was the person I put at most likely to run because he was already framing the discussion that way. He was saying Trump's coming after me because I'm his potential 2028 rival, even though Trump won't be running. Whoever he sees as his successor would be running. Like Newson has been doing everything, going to the States, South Carolina, that will be the termative in the early part of the primary. But for him to say that Kamala who also seems to be doing the exact same thing preparing to run again, if she decides to run that he won't, is very jarring. And I guess he's going to go on to say he feels like they have a very similar constituency, both from California, both a similar part of the ideological spectrum. But that is shocking to me. Here's more of the explanation. First of all, it's a gift from God for everybody else. They enjoy the hell out of it, mutual assured destruction.
It services no greater good. I mean, you do it everyone, I don't care. But counterargument would be like, you know, she has a shot. Yeah. And you've never run and she's run twice. Yeah. I mean, that would be the approach to the campaign certainly. That would be the case you'd make. Pretty good one actually. That's objectively true. I just, but I know what that means. I know her basis supporters. I know her friends. The Zen diagram on that is just pure crossover. It's not I wouldn't do that to, I wouldn't do that. Interesting. No, it's just a, it's no interesting. So what does he mean by that? He's saying that when you split up the Democratic Party, there's these different factions. He said 30 flavors of Democrat right now. It's a very ideologically diverse from you got all the way from John Fetterman to technically still like us in the party all the way to, you know, socialists.
That's a very large tent of people that are all going to be hashing it out. And he feels like in that spectrum, he's placed right where Kamala is placed in terms of contituancy initial base of supporters where they are in the center versus far left spectrum. And then they're also big allies. And so he would not want to do that. Here's what confuses me. I don't believe him no matter how many times he says. And I say that with love to Gavin. Interesting. But I just really, I don't believe it. He is doing everything that you do before you run for president. You sell a book. You go on a book tour for some reason. The places where the book tour are best for our places where the primary will be very decided by. And then you start nationalizing your profile by going up against the Republican president.
And then you start making donor relationships that could serve you in the primary. He's like a revamped social media activity. And this is not related, but he's so damn handsome. It's throwing me off. Okay. It's really throwing me off. I don't care what you say. I really don't. I don't care what you say. I've literally had members of campaign staffs contact me and say, hey, you don't have to emphasize the looks of these politicians so much. And I don't care. Stop me. I'm excited for how hot the democratic stage is going to be. I am. I am. I mean, it's going to be a good looking crew. Newsom, Ossov, Kamala's, Downright Beautiful, AOC is beautiful.
Who else did I mention? Bashirbs, the stud. I don't want to keep going because then if I say too many of you left out blah blah blah. But that's like, there's some good looking mother. And why is that good because people are basic? I need to teach a little thing about life, ladies and gentlemen. People will be basic. This is just something that I've learned. And I care about substance. So criticism of the newsroom should not be like, oh, you're teeth are too white or your hair is too slick or you give sociopath energy because your jawline is so handsome. That should not be criticism. Christmas should be about his record. And if he's, you know, hindered, aggressive cause that we care about, something like that. And so the battle of ideas should all should be a battle of ideas, not personalities, not look. That's what we think. That's good. That's what we should think. We should think, us office seemingly really cool because of his record and he's a really good son of a, all of that stuff.
You know, we look back at Obama and we're supposed to keep it strictly an analysis of his policies and his policy achievements, areas where we think he didn't achieve enough or made mistakes. But people see Obama do his beautiful walk down the Air Force one stairs or his handsome aesthetic or his sort of like, when he answers a question and they don't know why but all the sudden they like him more. Same thing with men or women. And so I don't think we should care so much about that as a society to say, you're about to say, I'm surface level, your surface level. I'm saying we shouldn't but we do. We will. I will. I don't but I will and I do also. So do with that what you will. It's just, it's just harder to call out someone as like a radical left. They're going to destroy the country when someone looks at them and goes, oh, they're
so charismatic. You know, they're so likable. Now newsoms a little bit more difficult because and I say this again with love, you might not know that I mean it. I'm always for that. Mean it. His handsomeness does give a little bit more. What's that guy, Bateman, Patrick Bateman, a little bit more like he hasn't hurt anyone before murder wise, but in a movie he would. But not in the way that I say that about Rick Scott because he's like freaky looking. I mean like in a good where oh, we're going to cast a serial killer as this handsome person. So the audience is on Netflix go crazy for them. You know that whole phenomenon. It's like he gives a little bit of that. People say I never saw it. Oh, saw it. Saw it a little bit, but he's just an actor. That actor is an actor. And so we shouldn't even compare his looks aren't associated with actual actions because he was active. So it's like it doesn't matter. The point is that I should get back to the topic we're talking about, which is here
was my one theory that maybe Newsom is saying is doing like a little lawyer speak and he's saying I wouldn't run if Kamala was running. But he's planning to announce before anybody. So then later he can say no, I meant it. I neither of us should run. Oh, that's that that would be a smart strategic play to be honest. If he goes out and goes, listen, Kamala and I both can't run. We're just we're appealing to the same constituency. Our opponents would love that because we would just be divided like picture. You have the California sort of progressive, but also seen as not progressive enough by love progressives. Whatever you describe that establishment ish definitely establishment like part of the electorate candidate. And let's say one of them, if only one of them was in the race could get 20% of Democratic base who liked that version of Democratic politics. If both the Marin, his point is then we're splitting and we now both have 10 and we went
from maybe we are frontrunner to somebody else with 15 is now the frontrunner. So that's what he's thinking about, but maybe the play is he goes, listen, Kamala and I both can't run. And imagine he repeats, no, Kamala and I both can run. But then he announced is like before she ever would and then goes, I was saying we can't both run. I didn't know she was running. That's why I announced, but now she's she's my announcement. She can't announce because we both agreed that or maybe there's no play in the genuine he just believes that. What? This stage is not big enough for the two of us. And so we will just have to see here is people always ask what do you want? Look, I've obviously made clear my admiration for an excitement about us off in particular. But my biggest hope is just anyone who is interested in running runs because that's the healthiest way in front of the American people we can hash out who the best candidate would
be. Venezuela, Jay said Trump's already read that one totally splice, spice said, hi, Luke, you are a little ray of sunshine. You're so sweet. Ivan says, Luke, I could not agree more democratic party is definitely good looking. It's just good. And I know Republicans have their good looking studs too, like the subject of our next story, Mitch McConnell, but, but, but I think we're in a good place. I know people might be thinking like how you know, Biden, what about Biden? Biden had a, a, an it factor. He did. You can't deny that. He had an it factor. I think he's, he's got me. He did. You think he was just whispering for no reason? This is kind of a gesture of a smacking ass. You think that that was just an accident or do you think he was supplanting, subliminal messages, right? A little sucker.
When he leans forward, you lean forward, right? Cause what do you have to do if someone started whispering, you lean forward. So if I would leave forward a whisper and then you would lean forward to next thing, you know, you kiss it. It's a liminal. It's subliminal. But this is how politicians think. And this is how when you see Biden, you're like, I'm not usually into 82 year old straight white dudes, but I'm feeling something physiologically that makes me drawn to him. And it's, it's a, it's a real intentional effort. Um, and why he does his little grin, you know, and why he wears those short shorts on the beach. Like there are things that people do on purpose to draw you in. And I think even Biden was able to do that. Okay. We wrapped up the show yesterday and then when we were doing the bonus show, we found out that Mitch McConnell actually proved us all wrong. Okay. And so let me just say as an apology that anyone who thought he wasn't going to come out
of his three month recovery from his medical issues that he was very not transparent about and not doing his job during, even though he doesn't support that type of paid medical leave for other Americans being mandated at the federal level. If we, if any of us were saying anything, the assumed he wasn't fit to do the job, he just came out and made us look like fools because he is better. I can't get through it. He looked terrible. Okay. Let me just, I can't give the, he didn't hit. Hey, doors open, but no, my home. Is that the phrase? It's the real spinning, but the hamps just did. Right? Um, the, we don't come a noggin if you're rocking. You, someone's knocking, but there's no rocking. Whatever the phrase that you choose is, that's this. So let me tell you the story. Okay. Because a lot of this, this footage is, is disturbing and then we learned that they,
uh, would not let reporters take videos whenever he was in the Senate because he was like, I'm here and they're like, but don't show any videos. You can only take still photos. So again, yesterday while we were doing the bonus show, click the join button to become a member. Um, and I was going through some drama and all of some people like, move on from the drama loop. And I'm so grateful that you would share this private drama with me. And that's why I became a member by clicking the join button on YouTube, but move on from it because Mitch McConnell's back. And they linked me this video of him being transported out of his house. And podcast listeners, he is in a wheelchair so somebody is pushing his wheelchair. Welcome back. Welcome back Senator Ronald. Backstage. And you're feeling me, you feeling alright, Mitch? That was sound of the room. Good. So that was the first video we got.
The wheelchair is moving. Mitch is not moving very much. His body is getting transported, but like his face, his mouth is sort of open. And none of this, if you even try to accuse me of it, I will find you. And I will say, I'm not happy that you said that to me. And I'll say it's your face. Um, and none of this is about mocking health problems. You know this. Everybody knows this. It's that he's a senator, just resign and then live your life. But you can't be completely mentally incapacitated and stay in an important position of power. Did everyone agree with that? Whenever Republicans were saying it about Biden, but it was nothing like this. Please. Here's another angle. Okay, wait, I saw one person say, uh, I thought the first guy was him and he'd locked the F in.
And so then I watched it back with that context, thinking, imagine thinking when that first guy comes out of the door, it's like, dang, Mitch really had a glow up. Whoa, Mitch, looking good. Looking so. Oh, never mind. Okay. Okay. Send in McConnell. How you feeling? Send in McConnell. The Donald Donald. That's the inside of the Donald Donald. How are you going to go station? What are you going to do? What are you going to do? What are you going to do? What are you going to do? What are you going to do? What are you going to do? Okay, and then that's another angle where you can see what we just watched. And then a third angle, we do want to cover this like it is a major, somebody also said, you know things aren't going well when you leaving for work as a major newsworthy item. You can leave that up, Jane, but I think it was this person. You know it's bad when leaving your house to do your job as a national breaking news. For a three month absence due to serious health issues, he's now headed to the Capitol.
Our team just spotted him in a wheelchair before he was helped into an SUV. More of that breaking news coming up. And so then we get to him appearing in the Capitol. Reporters were barred from recording video of Mitch McConnell as he returned to the Capitol. My recovery has been long and is this to date? Wait, what? What? Senior to know today I'll cast my first Senate vote since I took. Guys, he went to the Senate, but had to post a written statement instead of just walking in front of the mini cameras and not barring them from filming and saying this today I'll cast my first Senate vote. He wrote since I took a bad fall in June. I look forward to being back on the Senate floor and seeing my colleagues. My recovery has been long and often frustrating process and the lingering effects of childhood polio haven't made it any easier.
I'm still not quite back to 100% really, but I have a short leader that as I continue with physical therapy on the advice of my doctors, I will do my best to be present for tough votes when our conference needs them. Here are some of the photos that people took because they weren't allowed to take video. Why? Why? No. Reporters are allowed in the Capitol. They should be allowed to film you whatever the hell they want. They can't go to your office or walk on the Senate floor when they're not allowed. But whenever you show up after three months of not doing your job, which again, you don't think we should require that employers let their employees do what you just did. You don't write out a statement and then say nothing and then not let them tell you. But it's not like the photos did much to resolve anyone's concerns. He is, I guess he was talking there, maybe. And then there he is, a good haircut. I mean, he looks...
All things considered okay, I guess. But yeah, the fact that they borrowed videographers is stunning. Here is Desiree Townsend who was at his house this morning to see what the situation would be. Desiree Townsend here again outside of Mitch McConnell's home. It is now 11, 19 a.m. The Senate just started voting a few minutes ago on a new roll call vote for this this morning. Senator Mitch McConnell has not, the word least does not look like he has left his home yet. We still have his capital police detail here and we just had somebody enter the home about 10 minutes ago. So it looks like he's a little late for work here on day two, but I'll let all of you know as soon as he does leave and what time he leaves, because there's currently a roll call vote happening right now on the Senate floor. So stay tuned for more. You got to work one day after a three-month hiatus.
And by day two, you're not leaving the house by even 11. And so the important part of this is and why it has, it has got so much national attention. I'll just remind you is that we are used to. We are tired of leaders believing that their position of power is for them, that it is about them. And it's about them holding on to power as long as they so choose. Instead of making sure every single choice they make every day they're in that seat and in that position of power is about their constituents. And if that was the principle, Mitch McConnell would have left office long ago, because clearly with everything he's done with, which I sympathize with on a personal level, he is not capable, he is not able in any sense of the word to actively, energetically, passionately, work in the interest of his constituents. That's the underlying truth as to why this is such a big story.
Thank you so much to Cosmic Raccoon, who said my grandmother had dementia. That man's brain gone. Tasha Bean says, can't they just get Mitch's sister to do his job? Oh, so true. So, so true. And then the needed laxatives said McConnell definitely didn't write that statement. Nobody would ever admit they're happy to see Ted Cruz. That is funny. Shall we move on to this? He'd like me to go. It's going to be just a small little private affair and I'm going to try and make it. I'm in the midst. I said, you know, this is not good timing for me. I have a thing called the rad and other things. That's what I can't win on. If I do attend, I get killed. If I don't attend, I get killed. By the Frank News, of course, I'm talking about now, but he's a very person I've known for a low
time and hopefully they can have a great marriage. If you want to, I saw you working on a little bit of a particular thing. If you want to have people listen to my point here with that update and you can't take it down, take it down, but just let it. We just had a lot of fun and I really, I'm grateful to Mr. Belly Button because he made us have a lot of joy the first time we saw this clip and it's all love. It's all love. But I really do appreciate his Belly Button. So, do you remember there when Trump said he was not going to his son's wedding? Do you think there's any chance the reason for this is he had, he had heard scuttle butt that said wedding or at least said post wedding party would be funded by a Russian oligarch. And if the president was at a party that was a lavish gift to his family and he was benefiting from it, it would be even more of a bad look as he's actively supposed to impartially be getting, actually, he should be partial to supporting Ukraine while getting a resolution. Is that a part of the reason he conspicuously did not
show up to his son's wedding? Maybe so. Now, again, the story, if you missed it is this. I'll have Fox News explain it because they're wintzing as they're trying to describe this obvious corruption being that a Russian oligarch and a buddy of Donald Trump Jr. funded this lavish private island party after his marriage to Bettina Anderson now Bettina Trump. And then I'll tell you about Melania going, yeah, that's, that's too gross for me. I'm going to throw Don Jr. under the bus. But first here's Fox News. Yeah, and then I'll throw up a co-founder and just a bit. Lucas, another story. There was a report about Donald Trump Jr's wedding back in May and questions about foreign influence as a Russian businessman with close times of Vladimir Putin helped pay for the celebration in the Bahamas. Has there been a response from the White House or with the new lights? There has bread in a new post on Instagram. Bettina Trump says the party was planned well in advance or the wedding and was never intended to be a wedding weekend. She thanked her friend Umar
Kremlin, who had made a fortune in Russian back gambling and commercial businesses. He sanctioned by Ukraine and he reportedly spent hundreds of billions of dollars, hundreds of thousands of dollars on the two night wedding celebration in the Bahamas and Bettina put out quote, friendship doesn't require a political. This reporter is not doing very well. He reportedly spent hundreds of billions, excuse me, hundreds of millions, excuse me hundreds of thousands of dollars and Bettina responded. He didn't even say Bettina's name correctly. Commotive generosity doesn't automatically come with an agenda and sometimes a wedding gift is simply a wedding gift and the White House referred us. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, we're going to get to the Melania of it all in a second, but this statement, a Russian oligarch whose pals with Putin knew Putin recently gave a award of friendship to yes, that Putin, the mass murderer who's
invading a country leading to hundreds of thousands of deaths paid for a private island celebration and the response from Bettina is a hell to everybody and this was a joint statement with Donald from junior. He didn't pay for our wedding. We had a pre planned weekend he was paying for on a private island he was funding for us to rent for a hundred K a night and he paid for that and it just so happened we went to it right after our wedding, but it was a wedding gift. Oh, did you see her last statement is she the whole statement she thinks the only thing we're outraged by is that it was for a wedding as opposed to just like a lavish gift from a Russian oligarch as your father's administration is far too cozy with the Russian government and she goes it's not the wedding it was something different that was pre planned by a dear friend and also a wedding gift is just a wedding gift. You just said it wasn't wedding related and it also doesn't
matter if it was or wasn't, but you just said it was a wedding gift so that it doesn't make any sense. Okay, so then Melania is like I want everyone to know that I have never will never don't intend to associate with this man at all, which is a crazy thing to say whenever right now your family is supposed to be downplaying that is bad to associate with this guy at all. Melania Trump sharply distances herself from Russian oligarch who bankrolled Don Junior and Bettina's wedding party and you have the particular statement from a spokesperson for Melania saying Mrs. Trump does not has never had a relationship with Mr. Krimliv. Ms. Trump played no role whatsoever in organizing the wedding event and was not privy to any aspect of its financial planning. So imagine you're supposedly one family right like they're all a part of the Trump family and you're under fire
for being buddies with in general, but then also having your party funded by this Russian oligarch was super close ties to Putin and the Krimlin. And clearly someone like that doesn't just spend hundreds of thousands or hundreds of millions or hundreds of billions or hundreds of trillions, I can't remember hundreds of dollars for nothing. Oh, you think, oh, Johnny J, Johnny J, you think you have a real friend? No, obviously he's doing this so that you owe him so that you like him so that you sympathize with him and his ideology. He's like, it's just a dear, dear friend. Just a dear, dear friend. You don't have dear friends, especially not Russian oligarch dear friends, they clearly want something from you and they have reason to believe that you would make good on such favorite trading given all of the favorite trading you've been doing to enrich yourself.
And your father, but imagine that's what you're under fire for, you're family. And then one of the members goes, I just want the public to know even though my the rest of my family is saying it's not a big deal. If we would do it, would associate with this person that I never have and I never will. And also I had nothing to do with their wedding or their wedding party. I didn't know, I imagine that's a response. She's like, you think I had, I can't do it. You think I planned those flowers? You think I planned that party? The colors were clashing. It was disgusting. I would never. It's like that. So she kind of stabbed them in the back and and just protected her own perception. But some are trying to defend this. Anna Paulina Luna. What do you think in this particular moment would be the most brazenly silly and embarrassing way to defend Donald Trump Jr.? Who do you think she could compare this to? That would be the most absurd to bring up in a
moment like this. There's something fucked up about that motherfucker. There it is, baby. She says, at least it's not as bad as Hunter Biden. They would have had associated with that, you know, with any other nation. I just don't think it would hit the same. So it sounds like it's worth investigating both. Well, I don't think that there's any criminal activity or evidence. Just because of Instagram posts said that it predated. No, I'm, you know, there's no evidence. They had a wedding. You can investigate that to confirm. I mean, I don't want to give you, give you test Congresswoman, but I think that there is, if there is an obstacle issue such as this, wouldn't it be who, members of Congress to confirm we open up the investigation where you can't provide in because of the evidence in the laptop that specifically pertained to influence pedaling. But there's no evidence. There's no evidence specifically right now of influence pedaling. And unless there's a laptop that comes out specifically with criminal evidence, I don't think that opening up an investigation into Don Jr.'s wedding party is something that's a good use of taxpayer dollars.
Well, as a prosecutor, I know that if you don't have an investigation, you likely will never find the results that would clear or imply someone's wrong. But thank you, Congresswoman, Anna Polarila. Thank you. I'm not in Congress. She is. So, her point, she goes, yeah, if a laptop shows up at a, at a, it's specifically a blind guy's computer shop. And then that laptop purportedly has evidence of influence pedaling. And it has new damages of Don Jr. And his size is the same as hunters. Then we will investigate. Then we will investigate. Other than that, there's no reason to investigate. I love she said, there's no influence pedaling evidence. And then she goes on a laptop. Like, why does it have to be a laptop? Okay, I'll just put all the, I already have all the evidence of the Trump family corruption on this laptop. You want to take my laptop? Oh, wait, I need to delete some things. I'm going to,
um, and of course, the evidence that she thinks they had on Hunter was not evidence of any influence pedaling. The evidence that we have on Trump is just stuff in public. Okay? Oh, you think I'm going to bring up the UAE example to get the AI chip so they invested in world liberty financial. No, oh, you think the Binance doing the deal with world liberty financial, and the Binance founder getting a pardon is going to bring up no, oh, you think the people getting access to Trump by going to the top dollar crypto owners of his meme coin and that gives them access to a dinner. It's what I'm going to bring up. Oh, no. Ladies example is while Kushner was supposed to be negotiating on Iran peace deal. So he was interacting with Middle Eastern countries. He was using that time to also raise five billion dollars for his fund for his venture capital fund or whatever at the same time. Okay, so you go to a country to talk about ending a globally
catastrophic war. Let's say it's like cutter cutter has invested in Kushner ventures and use and also will be involved in these types of things a lot. And you go cutter. Hey, I'm representing the US government by the way, quick pause on that discussion about the war. I also want you to invest in my what's it called Jared Kushner's affinity partners. Okay, yeah, affinity partners is his investment fund. So that imagine, imagine Joe Biden got Hunter Biden to go negotiate Ukrainian deals. Okay, so like Joe Biden made Hunter the envoy to Ukraine. And then while Hunter was the envoy to Ukraine, he was getting Ukrainian companies or the Ukrainian government actually is the most applicable comparison to invest in his business ventures. What would Anna Paulino Luna say? She
would say, well, it wasn't on a laptop. So I didn't see it. I guess so. That's just the latest example or or you have this 60 minutes report to their credit. Obviously the new leadership at CBS has done a lot of wacky things, but this was actually a good report. And I can't play the footage because 60 minutes is so aggressive with copyright. But it shows a hidden camera video of these lobbyists who take hundreds of thousands of dollars from people who are trying to get a pardon from Trump. And then they take that money and then they go and somehow are supposed to convince the Trump administration to give people a pardon. And whenever do you remember whenever the finance thing happened and the finance founder was a pardoned and then Trump was asking that interview, hey, why did you pardon the finance founder? And he goes, ready? I have no idea what that was. But you pardoned him. I have no idea anything about him. You think I'm kidding. The actual quote,
I also can't play this because it was from 60 minutes. But he literally gets asked, why did you pardon him? And he says, okay, are you ready? I don't know who he is. I know he got a four-month sentence or something like that. I heard it was a Biden witch on. So I don't know who he is. Yes, he was a part of a business deal relating to one of my companies recently that helped me. But I don't know who he is, but I do know it was a Biden witch hunt. How could you possibly not know who he is, but know it was a Biden witch hunt and know how long he was in prison. Very confusing. Well, I guess they could have been by somebody or that finance founder pardoning or excuse me, paying these types of lobbyists that were caught on hidden camera, discussing how they do what they do in Marjorie Taylor Green said this accurately gives a glimpse into how Mago World works and how to peel the closest layers to Trump only. It's just not, it's not just pardons. There's a similar process for candidates trying to earn Trump's endorsement. It's all pay to play and who you are
paying and who they know. So that is just nasty. It's just nasty. The level of corruption that we're seeing from the Trump administration. Candice Rose, member for four months said more and more it seems Melania is desperately trying to distance herself from her whole family. She's tired of this shit too. Maybe so Gracie Wolf member for five months said, Anna Paulina is my representative and from my town can't go anywhere right now without seeing her campaign postures. Well, I do apologize to you for that. I saw in my neighborhood a lot of Talleriko signs start popping up and I said, okay, okay. Because I've also seen some Trump signs, you know, in times gone by. I'm not seeing very many Trump signs around the neighborhood, but maybe that's because they found out I moved in. They know, I don't miss around. I don't miss around. All right, let's talk about JD Vance. Do we want to do... Let's do a cold
open. Roger. Roger. Oh, I see. I see. I see we have. I see we have a guy who is protesting. As JD Vance had a recent event in Kansas, I think it was or somewhere without cares. And he got heckled and I'll show you multiple moments from a couple recent JD Vance events. But if this gives you any preview to his future presidential campaign, I am very, very excited for, as an example, I'll show you in a little bit, Ossoff at a rally around a similar time as this one. And if you just compare the charisma and delivery of Ossoff versus Vance, you should be worried if you're in the Vance camp. But whenever someone heckles you, as a politician, that is your best chance for a viral moment where you look awesome. Because generally, even if you don't like someone, it's a bummer to see someone being screamed at. It's like let them do their event, you know, even though
I like whenever leaders I don't like get heckled, you want you kind of usually have a default. Oh, this speaker can handle it well. They'll look really cool because they all they stopped to heckle and they had a little bit of a quip. I hate to say this and Trump's crazy. But whenever people yell at him and then he's like, go back home to mommy. And the crowd is like, woo, it's a good moment if you like him. But Vance fumbled the easiest game in politics, which is you know you're going to get heckled sometimes. And so have a good zinger. Or I remember one time Obama like started a whole conversation with the heckler and had this beautiful explanation to the thing that heckler was shouting about. Awesome. Vance goes, all right, I can see someone is protesting like you're just doing observational statements now. And now security is taking them out. Roger Roger. Oh, I see. I see. I see we have. I see we have a guy who is protesting.
Yes. The last. I can tell that you're trying to shout over me, sir, because you can't handle the truth that I'm spitting. Yeah, it's so you just say anything like that. It's so easy. Or you do the, oh, I see that sorrows funded bleb bleb bleb you do that. It's easy. But he's already burned like 30 seconds just going it is your birthday. This person is protesting period. You know, the last, the last time, the last time I gave a speech and we had a guy who was
interrupting. He had the common courtesy to bring a Mexican flag so we knew where he stood. I was a little too specific. You know, the last time, the last time, the last time, we had a guy at this other event we were doing in Iowa. And the crowd's like, yeah, come on, say it, JD. And before we went to the event in Iowa, I got a hot dog and it made me sick. Who that thing looked like a mask curled the toilet. And then the, I had this event. This guy protested and at least he had the courtesy and he brought a broad of flat, a Mexican flag because he was Mexican. So at least that. Oh my gosh. Something came out of my nose. That made me laugh so much. Oh, that scared me. Oh, that could have been very bad. Wow.
Because the last guy, the last guy. So anyways, in closing, he was Mexican. That's what he was saying. So listen, I have more like him taking issue at a different event with a fur, fur's lives, fur lives matter. Like, you know, animals, an animal rescue organization, but I think his brain's so messed up and he's so anti woke obsessed that he thinks they're talking about like a furry organization. But if you want to have the it factor more than he does, if you're like, oh, I hope I don't end up like that one day where I just don't have the it, the magic, the energetic force that leads people to be drawn to me, not repelled away. Then I would advise you get pep. My two brothers, both currently serving in the military doing all sorts of crazy things and still somehow, some way, finding time to help me run this company. And we founded it together because we
were looking for an energy drink that didn't have all the garbage. If you look into the details, a lot of the ingredients and energy drinks that you like, they taste good because they kill in you. And so we wanted one that tasted good, but was also got friendly. No artificial sweeteners. None of that garbage that is pumped into your body. And instead, something you can feel guilt-free about drinking as you get the energy boost that you so crave with the active probiotics that your gut enjoys and your gut microbiome needs. So go to drinkpep.com. That is drinkpep.com to support my family business. Order it directly to your doorstep and I do encourage you to get a subscription because then it's cheaper for you. You save money and also you don't have to remember to reorder. I'll just show up. However, the timeframe is that you set it for to your doorstep. So you're never running out of pep. Drinkpep.com. Thank you so much. And JD Vance could really use some pep to get his magic back if he ever had it. Of one thing I maybe wanted to ask Todd, which is he said
that one of the legitimate government, or excuse me, the legitimate businesses was called Fur Lives Matter. And I wonder, Todd, what product or service was Fur Lives Matter engaged in? Don't answer that question, Todd. I have no idea, but my one recommendation is find a better name for your business than Fur Lives Matter. Next question. Matt Kelley with the camera. Aaron Rupar posted that clip with the caption, JD Vance's tight five needs a lot of work. He keeps trying to do like, hey, I'm a funny guy too. Fur Lives Matter, right? What the hell are they up to? Gosh, they're not dressing up as elephants and raps that hump each other, right? Oh gosh, Fur Lives Matter. That's so weird. It's like Google it. It's an animal rescue organization, dude. And what this is in relation to is they are prosecuting, which this should be done. People who committed fraud in relation to PPP loans during the COVID-19 pandemic and a bunch of those were forgiven. And so a lot of people
ended up fraudulently applying for these loans and then keeping the money who did not qualify for them. One of the ways they would do this is claim they had businesses that needed small business loans that weren't actually real businesses. And in the particular example that made him think of Fur Lives Matter, it was somebody claiming they worked or were associated with Fur Lives Matter a real organization while they also listed a bunch of fake organizations. And that person actually was not associated with the organization. And that's why they engaged in fraud. Fur Lives Matter didn't do anything wrong. Somebody just falsely claimed they were associated with that real organization. And all vents can think about is half naked furries, which I know actually they're not saying they normally have naked. I know it's actually actually covering a lot of it, but I'm just saying that's what he's picturing is like a sexy giraffe. That's what he's picturing. And that's why he brought it up. And then you also have him, um, Andrew Parte described as glitching out. I think he was just trying to bring the energy watch.
Haha. Woo. Yeah. The clapping is over JD. The clapping is over. You also have him attacking the Kansas Democratic Senate nominee. Adam Hamilton in a mumbo jumbo blob of words. Something, something drag queens, something, something strippers. And you know this very summer what Adam Hamilton did. He made sure that his church was a key financial sponsor of something called Pride Fest in Kansas City. He took, he took, that was the, our little protestor friend. He was actually a representative of that organization. That's why it's unhappy. He took the donations from his congregants. Guys, that's a laugh line. Do you understand that supposed to be a laugh line? Oh, that protestor was probably a part of the Pride celebration, which is why he is mad. By the way, stop explaining the jokes. Like you remember when he got up on stage? He was like, you know, um,
thank you. Trump said all these nice things about me. And, and I was up here thinking about the Congresswoman from New York and the answer that she gave and that the press said nice things about her when she couldn't answer the question. And I was thinking while Trump was saying all the nice things about me, what if I also gave a bad answer? And then would they say nice things about me? Like they said about Congresswoman Cortez. Like, dude, that's too much for a joke. It's too much explanation. Same thing here. Oh, that protestor probably is mad because they worked for the organization that was what we were what we're talking about. If you wanted to make that joke, you're supposed to look and be like, oh, you work for this organization. Ha ha. But he's like, but because that's because and then that's why he's mad. It's the reason that's the other reason that we would laugh. That's why it's unhappy. It took the donations from his congregants, from people who show up and try to support the gospel of Jesus Christ. And you know what he did? You know where those dollars went to events at this festival that were led by strippers and drag queens.
Okay, that's not true. I was trying to look up what he was arguing like what that is in relation to. And I think it's as simple as Adam Hamilton, who's a pastor and who a former governor of Kansas endorsed over the Republican. It's tough. It's Kansas. So it's going to be, you know, tough, but you never know. Right. Am I saying that correctly? Make sure I'm talking about the correct just search it up. Adam Hamilton cases. And so the only thing I could find in terms of why JD is saying that is that Adam Hamilton is a pro LGBTQ pastor. So at some point, I'm sure he donated to some LGBTQ cause. And then they're extrapolating that, oh, that that organization also held an event where there was drag queens, which who cares. And then he throws strippers in there. Adam Hamilton, senior pastor, Kansas supports LGBTQ plus inclusion and has done marriages of LGBTQ plus clergy, which sounds fun. So there is that. Now just compare all of that to
us off just the vibe, right? So Vince is best attacks against people he doesn't like is, oh, you probably have a Mexican flag and you're probably gay and you probably dress up as a woman. Here's us off's message. Now remember, Trump promised to lower prices on day one. But last week, the broken old man for a two day party in Texas while it costs more than ever to fill up your truck to stock your fridge and to power your home. Under the failed president, Donald J. Trump, food, diesel and healthcare all just hit their all time highs. They doubled your insurance premiums and slashed Medicaid to cut taxes for their corporate donors and the ultra rich. They made you pay more for everything. They lied us into war and spent most of the last year covering up for the world's most famous pedophile. I just don't know how in any world the country
goes with the latter. I mean the former excuse me. It's I don't know in any world. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, I don't know how in any world this country goes with the former as opposed to the latter. I like that phrase because every time you had to be like, oh yeah, yeah, okay, so Vince, instead of just saying JD over John, but it sounds smart as so. And in one, the one he's like, hey, I have to organize an article for Elizetta probably for his and Dracquington. So also he don't even and yay, next second. And then you click over to the other channel and he's like, here are five consequential globally catastrophic ways and domestic economic reasons why you shouldn't support Republicans. It seems so much more legit. Jim Caulfield sent five gifted memberships.
Thank you so much. Mary says again, the 60-song Eve of Destruction is running true. And I'm not laughing. We are running on empty. Love truth for all says so happy. I found you. You are so sweet. I love that about you. Thank you so much. You're sweet. Crystal Lillian there says hi, Luke. Could you say scuttle but five times fast please? Scuttle but scuttle but scuttle but scuttle but scuttle but Victoria says, Luke, I hope your boyfriend appreciates how funny you are. Well, that is so sweet of you to say. And I would definitely encourage you to forward that message to him. I would say he appreciates me. There are so many times guys where I'm walking around the house and I drop a banger joke and he goes, hmm, and I'm like, if you just knew what Victoria would have reacted like
if she heard that joke. Anyways, speaking of somebody who wishes they had my boyfriend, Mike Johnson was on Jake Tapper's show and two Tapper's credit. He played this Republican Congressional candidates receipts for how nasty gross offensive this candidate is for Mike Johnson. And Mike Johnson loves to act like, I just I care about character and I'm a Christian man and I'm so Christian, I monitor the porn usage of my son and I like to look at the images that he looks at. I mean, I look at the what and then he doesn't care when Brandon Herrera, a house candidate in Texas, says the most stuff you can imagine. Watch this. I want to ask you, you talked about some of the more extreme DSA type candidates that the Democrats have. Republicans have some candidates like that on their own. For instance, Brandon Herrera, he's a house candidate in Texas, you've endorsed him,
you've fundraised him for him. He's a before he started becoming a Congressional correspondent, I mean Congressional candidate. He's a YouTuber and he has said some offensive, sexually explicit, crude things about women and children. Here's a little bit of what he said just three years ago and I want to warn viewers that this language is pretty gross. Just because you let somebody cream pie you doesn't mean I have to give a shit about your political opinions. The fact that you kept your control fee doesn't make you any less wrong about the dumb shit that you say. That's him disparaging mom. She's also in a video testing a Nazi era submachine gun. He called it the quote original ghetto blaster. You see him go stepping to a knack called a not this and called a Nazi gun that he was trying the original ghetto blaster that you hear this. Mike Johnson, you're probably assuming is about to go, Oh, Jake, I'm so sorry. I've been busy lately. My son had three explicit photos I had to review. I didn't have a chance to look at this. Now that I've seen it, of course I'd
announced him as a Christian. I don't know anything about that. And instead he's going to say something very different. Also that clip that Brandon Herrera who's repaced placing Tony Gonzalez or is trying to replace Tony Gonzalez. You remember Tony Gonzalez, the person who had that affair and was kind of like a predator in his workplace with his aid and then I aid ended up dying by suicide by lighting herself on fire. Super tragic. And I want you want to go from that to like a really, really high character. Can't they? No, it's sad Brad and Herrera who was saying he doesn't like when people make the argument. If I'm remembering that clip correctly, that moms might have a unique perspective to bring to our political dialogue because a lot of our discussions and politics relate to families and kids and how do we uplift the next generation and moms have a unique insight into that. It wasn't putting anyone else down but he's reacting to that by saying just because you
have a quote unquote come trophy or somebody came inside of you. Oh my gosh. It's what he was saying. I don't, I don't have to care anymore about your political views. That was his rant. I just want to give you the context because they cut it right when he starts saying that. It's even crazier when you know what he was reacting to. Not see marching song and a podcast two years ago, joked we should abolish old people. I have to say I know you're not a voter in that district. You didn't nominate this guy but I was surprised to see you endorse him and fundraise him. Fundraise form. What does his candidate say about the Republican parties more extreme candidates? Let's look detestable language. You know how I feel about all of that Jake. But also no Brandon Herrera has been out running a very effective campaign and explained to people that he has apologized for all that. He was a podcaster and a provocateur and tried to get attention. That's not the way I speak or think and that's not the way most do but that was his persona online. Right now he's running as a very serious candidate for Congress and a very thoughtful guy. I was
with him at the convention. We talked about all this. This said Brandon when you get to Congress and he will be there. You're going to join this team and help us to save America to preserve freedom. And bring down cost for the American people. That guy's laser focused on doing that and he is far superior to the candidate. He is running against that in that district in South Texas. I'm telling you this is a contrast election between common sense and crazy. Brandon Herrera will join the common sense team of Republicans making life better for Americans while the DSA candidates that you referenced the Democrats, those of America have said what they want to do. They put it on paper Jake. Their platform is abolish the border abolish prisons, defund the police, defund the Pentagon and the Department of War. One of the most dangerous times in American history. They want to abolish the US Senate. They want to pack the spring court and give one unit camera body to stop it. He's opponent does not want those things. You're just saying random stuff about random DSA people. Oh, you want to do that game, New Year? That's what's funny. Our extreme quote unquote extreme,
right? Are people who some of them suggested all of that the furthest left extreme, some of them much of that is completely stupid. Abolishing the Pentagon. What does that mean? Abolishing prisons. What? Which mainstream candidate, which democratic nominee is running on those things? Well, name the one that's running on those name the Eric stream goes too far as they think they're going to bring in some sort of utopia where all people are better served and they're incorrect in how we would get there. Your extreme is talking about ghetto blasters and is actually the nominee. Okay, all right, uncomfortable with that actually with that contrast. And for the most part, even the progressive candidates who get nominated are running on a bunch of very common sense things. But you want to talk about non-common sense things that aren't just out in the ether, but actually being presented by
the president of the United States. Hey, if you elect us, I'll give you $5,000 each as a bribe Americans as Trump suggested. And Mike has just been too busy to think about if they would be able to do that. You're talking a lot about communism. How is communism any different from what President Trump is doing of getting equity since intact and promising $5,000 checks to Americans and having equity and steel? So what the president is articulating and it comes up creative ideas all the time. He's the ideas president and we have hard time keeping pace with it sometimes. Is that even me? That's how he says Trump has a bunch of really dumb ideas. I have concepts. He's the ideas president. He debuted at the convention famously the idea of a basically a dividend check to Americans, right? We're processing that. I mean, we're just now getting everybody here and we're talking about all that. What he's trying to articulate is the
obvious truth that is demonstrable and we can stay here all morning. We can talk to you about that. If you want more money in your pockets, you got to keep Republicans in charge. That's what President's talking about. We have done that. Not just again, not rhetoric. It's record. Look what's happened when we did our legislation. You know, the working families tax cut, for example, the big, beautiful bill. It put more money in your pocket. In my state of Louisiana, the average Louisiana has $2,915 more in their pocket right now. They did not have to send in on their taxes this year because we got our policies enacted. You notice that? On average, this is how many dollars that we've been able to configure in raw totals that people got because of tax cut. And who overwhelmingly got all of those? Also, if you're putting money in people's pockets, why are they literally losing buying power? Look at how long people's paychecks, people's wage growth was outpacing inflation through the end of Biden into Trump and then Trump starts doing
his stuff. And now inflation is outpacing wage growth, meaning you are not making more than inflation is eating into it. Not the best phrase to explain the point, but you get it. Even if you're boosting income a little bit, if prices are moving up faster than that, you're actually not getting any meaningful more money. And the policies that Trump has enacted have caused that, which you can see very clearly in this graphic plus we don't have to keep maybe this point because I made so many times, but it feels necessary a little bit. Every time they brag about where the party that puts money in your pockets goes the tax cut, he will never contend with the combined effect. If you look at one subcategory and you say, look, these earners won't have to pay as much in taxes, modestly so, because we did this tax cut. And then you ignore that the people who get the
real benefits are the richest. And you leave out completely that there was more stuff than just that in the bill. And when you factor in all that stuff, like the social services cuts, the bracket of people who need help have lost money in the bargain. And that's kind of the the data trick that he's doing in that explanation. And that lays in general minutes today's show.
